I put in a Better Boy (?) and a roma, mater plants, this year and increased the banana peppers to 3, which is more than enough for us for the season.
6 mounds, each of which got a few dozen seeds, and I’ve got a half dozen sprouts on one mound, with 1 or 2 sprouts on a couple of others. My guess is that I didn’t break up the soil enough and they couldn’t root.

His mother was unable to care for him on her own, he weighed about 2 bills and it was too much for her. There were no group homes able to accommodate all his needs. Haven’t seen him in over 5 years.

Our dog got spooked by a storm (she’s always been bad with thunder) a little over three weeks ago. A couple days later we get a call from the vet that some kids have faound her, but that she seems hurt. I go get her from the kids, take her to the vet, and all indications were she’d been hit by a car. Road rash, stomach opened up, tail broken at the base. We let the vet get her stabilized and start talking long term prognosis. We get her through one night, but the look in her eyes says it’s time to go, so I took her in for the last goodbye.
Then this evening I find out my Grandma passed this afternoon. Failing health, being under effectively house arrest, and not getting to see anyone caused her to give up. I haven’t got the complete story, but it sounds like she went to sleep a couple days ago and just never woke up. She was my last grandparent, but I only ever had her and Grandpa. Paternal grandparents were never in the picture.

So many of the elderly have been cut-off from family visits, neighbors, any human contact. They are forced to die isolated, alone, it’s terrible and unnecessary, but it is forced upon them. I’m so very sorry.
