Good morning and welcome to the final Monday of 2012, coincidentally the 52nd consecutive MMM — all of which have been awesome — and the final day of what’s been a pretty tumultuous year.

Now I’m not the sort to make resolutions at the turn of the year — I already live by enough weird rules — but I recognize that it’s a popular cultural pastime for many. Anything you’re going to promise yourself you’ll do and then likely fail at? I’m going to go ahead and resolve to run for some lame political office that would otherwise go uncontested. Maybe. If it’s not too much work and I somehow get laid off. Or maybe go to welding school. So, you can see that I take this whole resolution thing pretty seriously.

I could ramble on, but I’m still sick while I write this and on 3 drugs, so it’s only going to get worse. Let’s move on, then, to the double-sized image portion of this morning’s blogcast.

Cuz I totally think it’s going to rock your soul, which sort of reminds me of this conversation I had with this girl once about soul mates. It turns out that people who think they’ve found their soul mates get divorced a lot. Like a lot, a lot. Whatevs.

I wrote this song in the middle of the night while rearranging–perhaps a little paranoid–my sock drawer for the nineteenth time in a row making sure that the striped socks were as far as possible from the white socks because they don’t get along very well. The White Sox suck!

Today’s model is from way back before yesterday. She’s so old she used to babysit Yoda. I’m pretty sure Margaret Nolan was in a James Bond movie called Goldfinger. It had Austin Powers in it and Beyonce and this chick. Her measurements are Blam! Pow! How you like me now?!??!! Fap. Fap. Fap. Fap.

Howdy folks, today is Monday, December 24. My shopping is done, but today still means work, a workout, and a dinner with some far-flung friends home for Christmas.

For that, motivation is needed, because my day already feels stressful.
