No Memorial Day content planned from me other than my invitation to remember those who passed in service to the nation, and that the nation they died for will surely be lost without that same courage invigorating us here at home.
I had a long, fun Saturday that didn’t leave me much time to research and write a detailed post. So here’s some random stuff for you.
First off, here’s a lovely Flute Concerto in G Major by Johann Joachim Quantz (1697-1773). He was a German composer of the late Baroque era, as well as a flautist, a teacher, and a maker of flutes. He taught Frederick the Great of Prussia the flute, and composed hundreds of flute concerti during his lifetime.
