Good morning, and welcome to today’s edition of Hunky Hump Day.
All the discussion about Tracy Chapman reminded me of my favorite song of hers.
Now for the hunks.
I saw this and laughed. So here’s some AI HHD models. Won’t be showing Alabama or Texas.
Wyoming.
Rhode Island.
North Carolina (pretty sure I’ve met him)
And finally, Georgia. Trees that fruitful sure would be nice.
Ok, now for some real hunks.
Not shaved.
Last, but not least.
And that will have to do.
Thanks to Pirate’s Cove for the links every week. Happy birthday to Rocketboy, and y’all have a good day.

Good morning!
2023: Summer of Perpetual Gloom
I don’t think we’ve had but a handful of sunny days this summer
We lurve both styles of music here at the H2
Country AND Western
heh LOLd when I first heard try that in a small town
It looks like country music has entered the culture wars. There’s PC/Woke Country where they celebrate trannies at their award shows and ban “controversial” songs and Outlaw Country which provides the soundtrack for Ultra-MAGA Republicans and will be investigated by the FBI
Wakey wakey
Pay is fine. Sore.
two weeks until Cats Fucking in a Closet!! I can’t wait.
These executives have no balls. Or they have been found in compromising positions.
Wait in the truck was a number 1 song in April.
I haven’t heard it in months.
Too toxic?
I heard at least once on the drive to Huntsville.
Granted that was a month ago now.
Executives have no balls. They are in those positions mostly because they don’t take chances and do nothing interesting. Most mature businesses want an agreeable older man who will work 80 hours a week and do nothing to risk predictable growth.
Just my experience
What happened to Pay??
Why not 81?
Pay had pernia surgery
No way country radio can play Wait in the Truck. it’s even more violent than Try that in a small town.
Aldean’s wife is also involved in twitter wars with woke country. So he’s no stranger to the woke wars.
twitter: Why the trans movement is going to be a fight to the death
The woman has some great points. The parents here have to accept this as right for the rest of their lives, otherwise they have to admit what they have allowed is monstrous.
I highly recommend watching Peter Begossian videos if you see them.
I want to see the AI-generated pictures of what Americans think Europeans from different countries look like.

You can blame that on the cunts in canuckistan.
Why aren’t we sending them a bill for damages – health, safety, welfare, crops, tourism, mental health?

HA!
Well, I’m glad he’s doing okay.
Over 105 for 9 straight days. Send us some smoke.
Smoke? So you can really feel like you’re getting burned at the stake?
We’re switching between heat and storms hereabouts. Which is to say, summer in Alabama.
Also it seems like the cicadas are significantly louder than usual this year. Gotta check to see if we have one of those periodic broods making a nuisance of themselves.
Huh. Brood XIX (the “Great Southern Brood”) isn’t supposed to pop out until next year. Wonder what’s up with the noisemakers then…
Hadn’t heard “Wait in the Truck” until today.
Latest outrage is “Praise Petey”, a Disney series about a cult that sacrifices humans and drinks their blood. Restaurant in it is called the Filthy Pecker. I thought it was a joke about how far Disney has fallen, but there’s an IMDB entry with a two-minute trailer.
Arsenal is blowing up something real good this morning.
Huh, just watched the video for “Wait In The Truck”. Certainly the video is too toxic for heavy rotation but I don’t think the song lyrics are overly bad.
I suppose once everyone puts 2 & 2 together and figured what it was about the eunuchs in charge of selecting songs for radio play ran away like Brave Sir Robin.
Listening to the opening of Bongino he was saying that the Michigan case against the GOP for “false electors” is in tangent with Jack Smith charging Trump for Jan6 in DC. The Michigan case is to “prove” that Trump incited a conspiracy against the government.
Yankee Hostages should look for northern lights tonight, maybe even tomorrow night.
Wait in the truck…
Never heard of it but I don’t listen to country all that often.
Just listened to it.
Sorry not a fan of the sentiment in that song; it’s a clear violation of one of the big 10.
um, what jam?

“”Why aren’t we sending them a bill for damages – health, safety, welfare, crops, tourism, mental health?””
We all know the outrage if any repubiccan was at the helm.
Anyway the mornings are a weird hazy hellscape.
It was so thick this morning I couldn’t see the hill just down the road from me.

Which is why I reject a strict interpretation of “the big 10” and am not religious. Some people deserve to die. And I have no trouble being the judge.
The shooter is portrayed as serving time for what he did so it does show the consequences for his actions. Probably would have had a better case if he didn’t shoot him in the back.
We need a report from Phat

I really like the Duluth fire hose pants, fit great, but there is no way I’m paying 40-45 for cargo shorts.
heh, another “blue ice” incident
I have a couple of Duluth flannel shirts and they’re great. Christmas presents from Paula.
I also have some Duluth clothing that I like. Pretty rugged. And the shirts have decently long tails to tuck. Wait for sales. Some of their other items are good … dog, truck/car, or tool related.
I was on a British Airways flight to Logan that dropped a part of wing flap/spoiler onto a place in Revere on its landing approach. Pretty exciting for about 10 seconds watching it pick up accelerating vibrations before it sheared off and the 747 did a quick roll before the aircrew got it compensated for. The copilot came back and sat next to me (my seat happened to have had the best view) and asked if I had seen it go.
The courage of people willing to stick their hands down into holes in places with snakes, alligators, and snapping turtles.
Heh, that IS the sale! Normal price is 79.50.
I fixed my internet today. I should rest on my laurels now.
I think I have the final design for retrofitting nest boxes onto the chicken tractor sorted out. Going to need a few more pieces of hardware to actually build it, but simple stuff that the Ace across the border oughtta have.
twitter: Badass Hung Cao running for senate in CA
So he’ll lose by 30 points.
I only listen to Classic Country. I’m surprised I recognized Lainey Wilson’s name. Never heard of Hardy. I think “ Wait in the truck” is more disturbing than Jason Aldean recording a video that featured a building where Democrats lynched a black man.
Heh, and we have republicans pointing that out arguing with Candace Owens.
Pretty sure Jason didn’t set that building there in a QAnon plot to glamourize lynching.
It’s national hot dog day in St Louis. I had cooked pastrami, but I’m thinking some member’s mark dogs instead.
“national…”
“in St Louis…”
Something’s bunged up here.

it’s the St Louis part. It’s everywhere!
Yeah, that was one of ours that dropped the slide. Haven’t heard any details besides what was on the news.
Flying to Brussels tonight, will have to check out northern lights. Our route takes us pretty far north.
bet it looks pretty cool up high!
Hi phat!

So, Jay’s contemplating some dog members?
Gross.

They have Fauci dead to rights and the little goblin is gonna skate.
can’t you just let our betters rule?
We stopped carrying Hebrew National. Do you have Hot Links at your Club? We don’t. We have to go across the river to another Club. Worth it.
Sister is still in recovery sans boob and a couple of lymph nodes. Hopefully nothing bad is in the nodes.
After this I’ve gotta check in on her birds. Mr B was downtown for the game…primo seats…so I asked him to have his friend drop him off here so he can drive me home.
Somebody in this waiting room is hacking up lung goop behind me. It’s stomach turning.
Our betters? More like criminal riffraff grifters needing to become necklace charms of the nearest lamp posts.
Fauci knew they were doing screwy things in the wuhan lab and funded it anyway. He was in on it and it wouldn’t be a far stretch to think the globalist trolls worked with the ccp to use it to get rid of Trump since everything else they threw at him didn’t work.
don’t know hot links. I like the members mark brand. weren’t they Nathan’s at one time?
Close. If you can get the MM hot links, I recommend. Costco has Nathan’s. Ours were a knock off, before we went Members Mark. You can buy case quantities of all cafe items. Churros. Pretzels. Great sellers. I don’t like our pizza dough.
Dan says the hot links might not be MM. I love hot links. Earl Campbell had a quality product before changing the recipe.
Coincidentally I also made hot dogs for dinner despite not knowing it was National Hot Dog Day. Hebrew National. I looked in the fridge before I went shopping on Monday and saw them in there so I made sure to get buns. The only time I like a naked dog is when it’s sitting in a bowl of baked beans.
Back in my Catholic elementary school we had no school lunch until I was in 4th grade. Everyone brought their lunch in and got little milk cartons. On Friday it was Hot Dog Day. A group of women would heat up hot dogs in a little kitchen off the gym and lunch was a hot dog, bag of chips and a brownie.
School provided lunch came in the form of “Satellite Lunch”, which to my 8 year old brain conjured up images of NASA and the moon landings which were still fresh in my mind. The reality was a little more disappointing, we were a satellite of the big kitchen churning out all these meals for a bunch of other schools across the city. Hot pack, cold pack, carton of milk. The hot dog ladies were out of business just like that.
Ballpark Franks seems to be the brand I get. Used to be Oscar Mayer, but I don’t know when or why I made the change.
Can anyone find any that have sodium nitrite preservative any more? I figure that my hotdog consumption habits were formed back when it was almost impossible to get food poisoning from them. Now, I have to check and make sure the packaging hasn’t swollen up like a balloon.
I ate a lifetime’s worth of hotdogs before I was 12. I can’t even stand to smell them now.
Pfizer warehouse in North Carolina destroyed by tornado today. Reports are that the tornado was both safe and effective.
I like Hebrew National hotdogs. I like to boil them in beer with a bit of water, and with lots of condiments. Don’t care for chili dogs though.
Ice cream is good for sore throat.
Team Hebrew National. I gave up hot dogs for Lent a few years ago. I can’t even with the Club hotdogs. The smell 🤢
I should clarify, I don’t boil the hotdogs with condiments. They come afterwards during assembly, of course.
Ice cream is only temporary for sore throat soothing.
Rainbow 6 is integrated into the most recent Jack Ryan. Previous CoW is trying to get me to add the Marvel app. Marvel is killing off Frank Castle. Groups that adopt Punisher 💩 Not the Marvel audience
When I had my tonsils out at age 5 or so, one of the selling points the docs used was that you get as much ice cream as you want afterwards.
All I can remember is that they withheld water for hours before the operation and I felt like I was dying of thirst. When they finally wheeled me into the operating room, they used ether to put me under. When I woke, I had a horrible sore throat, but the promised ice cream was not forthcoming for hours, and wasn’t that helpful. That night, I couldn’t sleep because of the noise of the AC cooling tower system outside on the roof of the neighboring building. And no one was bringing ice or ice cream at night. It was torture.
I still have my tonsils. My mom didn’t believe in allergies. Etc.
Still got mine too. Only things I’m missing are teeth.
And your childlike sense of wonder.
I haven’t had that since I was 10.
“Pfizer warehouse in North Carolina destroyed by tornado today. Reports are that the tornado was both safe and effective.”
HAH!

Nearly did a spit take at work today. There was a town hall at HQ broadcast to all the centers, and I was listening with half an ear while doing other stuff, when I swear I heard Bill Nelson talk about hotboxing someone. I need Mrs. Peel to check in. I keep hoping they will post the video so I can pay more attention this time.
Forest Service helicopter flying back and forth over our house. Dumping water on a fire a few miles south of us. Lots of little fires this year. We really need the monsoons to start dumping some water on us.
