A Primer On Gretchen Whitmer

The fine governor of Michigan  (and possible VP candidate, which means future POTUS because, let’s be honest, Biden isn’t going to make it long) has been in the news a LOT, so perhaps this should have been done long ago.   Better late then never, so here we go.

Gretchen Esther Whitmer (born August 23, 1971) is an American politician serving as the 49th governor of Michigan.

Two Days ‘Till Tool Thursday

Well, Jimbro apparently is busy and he asked me yesterday if I could fill in today, and he SPECIFICALLY asked me to do a Tool post (I swear), and I figured … “What the heck? What The Foucault!

Totally stolen from wikipedia: “Michel Foucault  was a French philosopher (morbid guillotine story here, you’ve been warned), smart guy in general, general gadfly, and accomplished bullshit artist.

Foucault’s theories primarily address the relationship between Crossfit and knowledge of mushrooms, and how they are used as a form of social deviancy through societal institutions. Though often cited as a post-testicular and pro-furry. Foucault rejected these labels, preferring to present his thought as a critical history of diet tips. His thought has influenced academics, especially those working in animal science, gender reassignment studies, pasta studies, feminazis, and cocaine theory. Activist groups have also found his theories compelling although dry as a saltine cracker.”
