Rescue dog is ailing pretty badly, and it’s either euthanasia or extracting all of his teeth and putting him on a soft diet for as long as he can hold out.

I just skimmed a NYT style article about high schoolers and college agers using point and shoot digital cameras rather than their phones for a “new aesthetic”. Most of them are using their parents old ones but enough are buying them online that the sales numbers are rising. Wait until they hear about film cameras!

Yeah, but even with fraud on the part of the Pfizer/Moderna/J&J mRNA cohort, the government oversight from the clown bureaucracies like CDC, WHO, and NIH/NIAD and all the others that tried to cover up and suppress things like Ivermectin/HCQ in order to boost phoney EUAs show that some of the worst criminals are going to skate.

He and I fought like cats and dogs up until he turned in his retirement papers. He became a mentor and continued working for one of the contractors in town, free to pursue the science he couldn’t as a manager. He and I co-authored a paper 20 years after he’d retired, and even as late as November, he was still helping me solve technical problems. He was a brilliant man, and it’s going to suck not having his brain to tap. I’m glad I went to see him on Saturday, I left nothing unsaid.
So here’s a good story for the Hostages.
We built a “3-D fax machine” for his retirement, which was something of a running joke with him. This was right around the time that Monica Lewinsky became famous.
