So, I’ve been doing a deep dive into my heart rate ranges … and most months the lows are in the lower 40’s and the highs in the upper 180’s (a few in the 90’s).
My may heart rate per my age is “supposed” to be 165 or something. that formula is bullshit.
That formula goes back to Covert Bailey, iirc, and it’s a general guideline, not specific guidance. Pretty much nothing in nature is a perfect linear formula.
