MMM 486

Christian athlete.

Okay, the last one I mostly believed. This one? I’m skeptical.

I love walks in the woods.

This week in impractical gym wear…

I saw this movie! I didn’t make it to the end, so I’m not sure how it ended.

I had to stop and re-start making this post because we’re flirting with 100% again. I cleared out a bunch of MMM images from last year (the media library makes this deliberately hard to do, haven’t found a way to sort by date). If anyone else has some time and the inclination, we either need more housekeeping or someone’s gotta spring for more storage.

  1. I just did some research on pea planting in Maine and I stand corrected. It’s PATRIOT’S DAY!!! Not Memorial Day as I originally thought. Plenty of time for peas to mature.

So after running the Boston Marathon you’re supposed to plant your peas. Only government workers get Patriot’s Day off anyway. One of the non-holiday holidays that used to annoy me.

  2. I’d gladly chip in to the kitty if we had a PayPal or Venmo for funding more storage. Or we could just make H3 as we’ve been threatening Mare for years.

  3. Okay, time to motivate and get some shit done

  4. Sugarsnaps are a superior vegetable to the lowly shelling pea in many ways. Taste better, crunchy and sweet as a choice raw veg, don’t have to shell them and lose half of your crop weight and significant nutrition by throwing it away, and that saves you time, too. Ever sit down and shell a pile of peas? Takes forever and in the meanwhile your mountain of food turns into a molehill. Ridiculous. Ludicrous, villainous, stimulus, syllabus…wait, what

  5. Infelicitous australopithecus

  6. Weather is going to be warm this week. I need to get back to fasting. I think I’ll ease into it. Three days, eggs and low-glycemic veggies and salads only. No cheese, no bread, no booze. Break the carb cycle. Been eating heavy junk all winter and feel crappy.

Bringing fruit to work today, but I will make a giant salad tonight and start my three day carb break tomorrow.

  7. When you do that, are you concerned about your protein macros?

  8. That first chick has a really pretty face.,

  9. The ass in the last one is gross.

  10. The outfit on the fourth one is so you’ll think it’s a girl instead of a tucker.

  11. No Carin, I just need a place to start. But since you mentioned it, I’ll be sure to add extra oil. Maybe I’ll make a nice lemony hollandaise to help the ratio.

  12. Aaannnnndd…..we’re back to a diet blog.

  13. 7 kittens, forgot to update the blog yesterday. Lost one to either smothering or just something congenital.

  14. Was the movie “Inception?”

    “Dumb and Dumber?”

Aaannnnndd…..we’re back to a diet blog.

Listen, you, this blog will blog about whatever it wants to blog about.

  16. Office is nice and warm right now. Makes up for getting crap sleep.

It’s too nice out to be stuck in here today.

  17. January is really not a good time to hold yourself to resolutions and try to improve yourself. March is better, in this latitude, with the onset of better weather and increased sunshine.
In January the only resolution I can keep is to eat more potatoes.

  18. That’s why you should wait until Ash Wednesday.

  19. The ass in the last one is gross
It’s an acquired taste. So to speak.

    I’ll show myself out now

  20. I stand by my comment on the photo.

  21. Elon Musk challenged Putin to Single Combat:

    Sure, why not?

  22. I think they should both pilot battlemecha and the winner gets Alaska.

We can call it Robot Jox.

  23. *Pokes blog with stick*

    It’s dead Jim!

  24. It’s just mostly dead.

  25. I blame DST.

  26. *Applies 50 cc’s of Art to blog*

  27. I don’t get Patriots Day off. Might be just a Boston thing.

  28. Never heard of Patriots Day. Does it cost commemorate tine day New England drafted Saint Thomas of The University of Michigan?

  29. Proofread ya dipshit.

  30. Jeebus, PG has had a fucking stroke.

  31. Prospective, July 2020 and December 2020

Inviting the entire population of Itajaí to a medical visit to enroll in the program, ivermectin was offered as an optional treatment to be taken for two consecutive days every 15 days at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg/day.

Study analysis consisted of comparing ivermectin users with non-users using cohorts

    223,128 citizens of Itajaí considered

    159,561 included in the analysis

    113,845 (71.3%) regular ivermectin users

    45,716 (23.3%) non-users

    Of these

4,311 ivermectin users were infected, (3.7% infection rate)

    3,034 non-users (6.6% infection rate)

    A 44% reduction in COVID-19 infection rate

    Risk ratio (RR), 0.56

The regular use of ivermectin led to a 68% reduction in COVID-19 mortality

25 (0.8%) deaths in the ivermectin group

    79 (2.6%) among ivermectin non-users

    RR, 0.32

    p less than 0.0001

When adjusted for residual variables, reduction in mortality rate was 70%

There was a 56% reduction in hospitalization rate

    44 in the ivermectin group

    99 in non ivermectin users

After adjustment for residual variables, reduction in hospitalization rate was 67%

    p less than 0.0001

In this large study, regular use of ivermectin as a prophylactic agent was associated with significantly reduced COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and mortality rates.

  32. Dr. John Campbell, on the youtubes went over that. Again, his questions..
“Why isn’t this front pages news?”
“This business with ivermectin will be looked back on as a scandal.”

Sorry Charlie, ivermectin doesn’t make anyone money AND it saves worthless meatsacks…so…

  33. I’m telling ya, it’s a vitamin that got discovered late. Low-dose OTC for cold and flu season would save millions of $$ and lives.

  34. more storage on WP is kind of expensive. i sprang for an imageshack account with unlimited storage, for my memes, because they hotlnk easily. We’ll see how long it lasts.

  35. do we care if we save the pictures? most posts are silly, and we can tell the ones we want to keep

  36. What are the negatives to making H3? H2 would still be here and we can link back to it if needed which seems unlikely to happen all that often. We link back to the old blog about 5 or 6 times a year. What am I missing?

  37. We already have H3. You weren’t to know about it.

  38. deleted 5200 unattached files, so we might be missing some now. Now using 6gb

  39. I get to go to Detroit next week, and maybe drive up to the UP. I’ll wave out the window if I see anyone who might be a hostage.

  40. I’m willing to chip in.

  41. watching Ben Shapiro with Bill Maher. still with the bad information on both sides. climate change #1 misinformation from fox. still can’t get past this

  42. blah blah blah Jan 6

  43. Shapiro believes the ipcc

  44. Anyone know where to find detailed information on building a steam engine?
I’m considering the possibility of putting a coal fired boiler in the bed of the F-150 & replacing the 5.8 with a steam engine. Coupling it up to the transmission shouldn’t be too hard.

  45. there’s the liberal Maher, out comes the make fun of the handicapped, collusion, believing Putin. Fuck him

  46. You want a gasifier, DNH:

  47. Rollin’ coal needs diesel.

    Burning coal is an option

  48. who’s gonna ride in the coal car?

  49. That’s much more practical, Leon, But I’m interested in coal power mostly because coal is relatively cheap & pisses off the environmentalists/warmists that place Gretta on a pedestal.

  50. I figure I could stick the electric charcoal igniter from the bbq grill in the coal burner, plug it into an outlet through a timer & voila, steam pressure is built up just in time to leave for work in the morning. Do the same at work.

  51. Stil remember the virus, media can’t hide it’s bias. Like it’s hiding Russia/China collusion. Chinese make threats about sanctions being applied to them. Paper tiger, just like Russia. Taking over small pacific islands isn’t a show of military might, fighting an equal weight though.
..Chinese are mosquitos, lots of them, they’re annoying, but in reality they’re not a deadly threat.

  52. If sanctions don’t work, why is China preemptively making threats about hypothetical sanctions? Paper tiger with a crashing market.

  53. Chose my moms granite marker today. $1250. Should Dan make a bottle cap descanso for giggles? IYKYK

  54. Shooting in the Heights today. Everyone is freaking out. Unexpected for that part of town. Yadda. Yadda. Dan “I never expected a 10 year old to be raped and dismembered next door, yet here we are”

  55. Christ. I’m just getting dinner around & I’m already late for bed time. If I ever meet Mitch Daniels I’m afraid it may become violent.

  56. I can always run back to Ohio & wait for extradition. Fight it and show up in court with that song about Indiana wants me.

  57. Who put the bullshit photo in the header?

  58. I’m guessing the header photo was purged from the media folder.

  59. Background image too. That won’t be replaceable, custom Orwell masterpiece.

  60. Jesus.

  61. It is my fault there is no H3, I planned to buy a domain and set up a WP site, but it was such a frustrating experience just trying to get it started I gave up. I could not duplicate this template or find an acceptable substitute.

  62. LOL

  63. So all the boobs are gone?

  64. Now I don’t feel so bad about not posting anything yesterday.

  65. No. Maybe.

  66. 🎶All the boobs are gone🎶

  67. George hasn’t been here in years now. I scrolled back to Feb. 2019 in the media folder but couldn’t find his site background image. It’s been there a long time. The media folder starts glitching out on my underpowered laptop around early 2019.

  68. Leon was posting mushrooms then.

  69. There are pictures missing in today’s post.

What the fuck is this shit? The H2 is slowly sticking its head in its own ass and DISAPPEARING FOREVER

  70. *What the fuck is this shit? The H2 is slowly sticking its head in its own ass and DISAPPEARING FOREVER*

  71. Dafuq? I mean, I’m down to two brain cells and one went part time last week, but damn, y’all be shittin’ the bed here…

  72. To quote Chester A. Riley, “What a revoltin’ development this is.”

  73. Pup,

The background was before July of 2015. There is an archive page in the wayback machine. Sorry I don’t know enough to be able to pull the image

  74. Or as I often say, “You can’t expect shit to last forever.”

  75. Figured out how to get it off the archive and sent it to your emails pup. Sorry I don’t know how to put it on the site.

  76. there is still 17k images left in media

  77. Image is also in the media folder as the most recent image if someone can put it up as the background.

  78. According to the archive the wall image was supposed to be in the 5/2015 folder, but it’s not there anymore.

  79. background restored, thanks thermadin

  80. Glad to be of some use. I couldn’t figure out how to edit the main page. I may not have the access, but since I have no idea what I’m doing it’s probably a good thing.

  81. DNH,

If you are interested in a steam car you don’t need a transmission since there is so much torque. It’s been done a long time ago, here is how it was done right.

  82. To quote Chester A. Riley, “What a revoltin’ development this is.”
Hotspur, I was ‘pretty damn sure’ that I was the only one of us that rememberd that William Bendix quote, but now I realize that you are as old as I am…

  83. Found the image of the kids. It was supposed to be in the 6/2018 folder, but it’s gone too. I put it in the media folder now. Really weird how just those files are missing along with Leon’s pictures from today.

  84. Looks like the images in Jam’s post are the main ones gone. Who did you piss off, Jam?

  85. Yes, this is where it is. Tucker is right and it has gottenout of control,

  86. Dirk eventually revisited Portugal.
