Show Meme

Mare for short

  1. Good morning, insomnia.
Awake at 4am, finally decided to quit fighting it.
    There’s gonna be napping today.

This poat is memetastic. I can smell Pupster’s colon all over these memes.

  2. wait…just had a wave of tiredness…gonna try again.

  3. *AIR HORN*

  4. Hello, all! Still ticked off at daughter and SIL.

  5. wakey wakey

I’m still ticked off at them too.

  6. Teresa – is it the SIL?

A work friend has gone insane – she had a baby right as the PLANDEMIC began. The baby has now seen basically no one for two years. The gal got so crazy, she wore a mask to sleep, and still wears one in the car.
The entire family ALREADY CAUGHT covid, and yet it all continues.

The sad thing is that they’re starting to test these kids living in the bubble and its hurting their development.

  7. And to prove that I can show restraint, i didn’t go after teresa’s daughter on face douche when she tried to rationalize her decision.

Mark it on your calendars, folks. Car in showed restrained.

But … you know … if you want me to put in my 2 cents … lots of people use my services to say what they cannot to family and loved ones.

  8. I didn’t get a couple but I was distracted a few times during my scrolling by dog and human requests and I forget which ones they were.

    Stupendous work Pupster

  9. Something along the lines of …

If you were going to make your parents take a rapid test to see their grandchild, you should have made THAT the requirement. Not force them to take shots they didn’t want, and boosters. Both of which are MUCH for invasive than a rapid test. THe moving goal posts, completely unhinged from science, is infuriating.

A test alone (although annoying) would have been much less of a problem.

  10. When this is over, “Sorry I was stupid” needs to come out of a LOT of people’s mouth.

  11. My sister was kind of crazy overprotective of her babies. The maternal instinct in some people just kind of goes to 11 and they can’t think straight about the concept of risk.

  12. living in the bubble and its hurting their development.
Most definitely. We’ll be dealing with fucked up kids suffering from the effects of a pandemic lockdown for years as they become adolescents and adults. Right now adolescent suicide rate has exploded and adults have already gone off the deep end.

  13. Minus 3 out there but nice and sunny for a change.

Winter storm Izzy is on the way. Weather Underground says 1-2″ of snow for my zip code but the video forecast said 5-8″. That’s the nice thing about weather forecasting jobs, as long as you get the general idea of what the sky will look like you’re good.

  14. In 20+ years, they will be entering the workforce and when they behave as they are bound to, people will nudge each other and say, “covid kid.”

  15. People some how view being overprotective as a good thing. It’s not.

  16. People some how view being overprotective as a good thing. It’s not.

  17. Sumo Oranges are here!

  18. Comment by Teresa in Fort Worth, TX on January 15, 2022 6:48 am
Hello, all! Still ticked off at daughter and SIL.

    What did they do?

  19. I just learned that Agent 99 is now 88.

You may now return to your Saturday, already in progress.

  20. Mare, see 6:36 pm, last night.

  21. Thanks, Scott.

  22. They make you get a vaccine you don’t want and now you have to test?

    Eff them indeed.

Already had my first heated words with my sister-in-law. She’s a vaccine believer but thank goodness she doesn’t think anyone should HAVE to get them. But she’s part of the problem.

  23. Pups, I love your memes. Every Saturday is a meme party. I like that dog’s face.

  24. When people come up to my grandson to tell him he’s cute or just engage if they are wearing a mask he has no response. If they don’t have a response he’s smiling and laughing immediately.

It’s not healthy to be raised with masks. Your face is your most important social cue.

  25. Ran to the store in California to get a few items and the good little rule follower that I am I wore a mask. Mask required signs are everywhere.

Anyhoo, the two people behind me in line- a gal and a guy in their 20’s weren’t wearing masks and I felt ashamed that I was.

I told as I drove by them outside the store I said “right on for not wearing a mask.”

And she responded with a smile and said, “I just don’t wear them.”

This is the greatest story ever told.

  26. I see that you’re all avoiding me.

Is it because I’m in CA and not a Florida Woman with exciting and wild tales to tell?

  27. The clotshot mongers are having to reluctantly give up a few feet of ground, every few weeks, as we are vindicated.

First they said that the shots would prevent you from getting the virus. They had to walk that back. They said J&J was safe. They had to take it off the market. They said Moderna was safe…the EU won’t give it to people under 30y/o because they are getting myocarditis and clotting. They said that getting the shot would prevent the spread. They just recently walked that back. They said that you need 3 shots, then 4…they are walking that back, again, and saying it’s not safe to keep prodding the immune system this way.

I don’t believe the criminals at the top of this conspiracy against humanity are ever going to be disciplined or made an example of. But I think politically, they will be searching for a way out of their own mess. It may be too late for my career, but at some point the truth will out and they will have to recognize natural immunity and allow people to provide a titer in order to be free of them, or drop the issue entirely as it fails under the weight of its internal illogic.

Lots of people who got the first shots have given the finger to any boosters, as they see they were lied to. And the deaths of loved ones to adverse effects is like the fiery riots in 2020: the media may not be reporting on the destruction, but people are seeing it for themselves. Pharma and their government enablers are raising an army of orphans and widows and heartbroken parents who will never forgive them.

  28. Where’s MJ with an update on his hippy son?

  29. I make them ask me to put it on. If you’re looking for it, you can see and feel the fear rolling off some of the other customers but fuck them.

  30. I think that lauraw has a good take on this mess.

  31. I made eye contact with a young guy in the airport who was on his computer not eating or drinking with no mask and I took mine off because I felt stupid again.

Rule following is strong in me and I do not like it. Well, I’m a part of a society where following rules generally creates order and a better standard of living. Put my cart back, never throw my gum on the ground, never litter, hold doors, allow those older than myself (fewer and fewer) to go first or sit down etc.. I know it’s good to follow rules and keep order but I’m being stupid following a dumbass mandate in the State of California.

  32. I already hate this trip. Lots of shame and it’s only been about 18 hours.

But I’m not going to be a total debbie downer. I think I’ll re-read today’s memes.

It’s raining and I think it’s the first time in several trips where I’ve seen rain here.

  33. I got Mr. RFH to laugh out loud at the black Rapunzel. Good job, Pupster.

  34. I agree that TiFW’s daughter could have asked for the test first and not forced the vax and booster, but they’ve been moving the goalposts all along. It’s maddening. Still laughing at the double vaxed getting lumped in with the unvaxed at work if it’s been more than six months. All those who jumped the line last March, though they probably obediently lined up for the booster by now.

  35. It just seems a thinking person would realize what all the goal post moving means.

  36. Pod people stopped thinking in late 2020.

  37. There are just so many things that don’t make sense, rational people feel like they are taking crazy pills.

  38. I don’t believe the criminals at the top of this conspiracy against humanity are ever going to be disciplined or made an example of. But I think politically, they will be searching for a way out of their own mess.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Trump deals with his role in the vax development as time goes by. I know, after months of silence on the issue, he recently advocated for the jab. This led to a few people immediately suggesting he was finished politically. I don’t know what he’ll do which is why I use the term interesting.

  39. I was the only one at Whole Foods without a mask on.

  40. Correct me if I’m wrong, but if the gov’t is buying up a billion test kits, won’t that make them harder to find in the stores?

  41. I never wear a mask in Florida because we have a kick-ass governor but we all need to stop the madness by ignoring stupid rules elsewhere.

  42. I found a Nixon campaign bumper sticker on eBay and bought it for Laura.

    President Nixon.
    Now more than ever.

    How perfect is that?

  43. I showed it to Wiserbud and told him I don’t have the balls to put it on my car. He thought I should do it. I think it will attract the unwanted attention of some pissy libs, but he said he thinks people of all leanings will find it funny.

Anyway, I peeled it off the backer a teensy bit and the adhesive is pretty dead. Unsurprisingly, since this bumper sticker is fifty years old.

    This one:

Maybe if I really never work in healthcare in a blue state again. Otherwise I can’t risk it. There really is no free speech here. Not anymore.

  44. Related to the question about Trump and vaccines I came across this guy’s writing.

I think the last entry (#15?) is the one I half read/scrolled through and had an uneasy feeling about it. It just seems like more of the same old “Trust the plan” fakery. It’s very seductive to think that Trump is somehow playing 3D chess and has them right where he wants them but ultimately it’s delusional thinking.

  45. Article on Aaron Rodgers. He has a refreshing attitude, and I understand that he doesn’t give a rat’s ass if I like him or not.

  46. Testing, Testing, this is your tax dollars at werk…

  47. TIL “brain salad surgery” is a euphemism for fellatio. That puts a different take on Emerson, Lake, and Palmer.

  48. ChrisP, that’s interesting, I would think that means no tests available until March 14, but the website goes live next week. Hmm.

  49. Fellatio really didn’t need another euphemism.

  50. New one on me.

  51. All I know is this fucking clownworld shit is having a negative impact on my mental health. My normal fight with depression and ptsd shit is one thing, I brought that shit on myself. This covid clownworld bullshit adds a layer that must be recognized and mitigated. And there ain’t but so many cute animal videos on the net.

I vascilate between dismissing them with derision and wanting to do violence to their person. Extreme violence.

The roots of ALL of this is in the universities. Clean them up and the rest will crumble. Leave the stem producers and jettison the rest. And by jettison I mean throw from a helicopter hovering at a thousand feet.

  52. We might get some snow and ice overnight and tomorrow, pray for Oso.

  53. Same here, Pupster. We are going to Mass tonight, cancelling dinner with Rocketboy and DIL tomorrow (would have had supper tonight with them, but they said no), and bringing in wood for the fireplace.

I saw Jimmy Buffett trending and thought he had died. No, it was a poorly written article in the Charlotte Observer about the 50th anniversary of when he went to Key West and started writing better songs.

  54. Did anybody see that link I posted about UChicago? Pretty sure if it’s chitown, it’s a bunch of libs wrote that.

  55. Saw that. I’d like to see more hospitals pushing back, but I’m pessimistic.

  56. Roamy,
It looks like the contractors are to have completed those contracts by March. I would think that they would be shipping product the whole time, until then. Of course, what the government will do with the tests is yet to be seen…

  57. I wanted to prophylactically kill some Omicron with brown likker and chose a bottle of scotch I found hidden in a tote which is a whole other story. Anyway, after I assembled my glass and large ice cube the stopper broke off at the bottle neck. FML. I’ll deal with that another time. I opted for Irish whiskey. Eventually when the whiskey is gone I’ll transfer the contents of my broke dick dog scotch bottle to the still functional whiskey bottle.

  58. I’m sure this isn’t as widespread of a phenomenon as they build it up to be

And I view it as Social Darwinism if it’s even true that more than a few idiots did it

  59. TeeRoy gets 🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁 for his comment. You can always come here for the memes and dad jokes. C’mon man! Pat Snakejak is comedy gold. I liked Crusoe and the Far Side cow.

  60. 12 inches last night here. still had basketball game. we have events when we want to.

and unlike Kansas we don’t require masks. both states have republican govs. ours is better. reynolds deserves more recognition for what she did. iowa is redder than Texas at this point

  61. push the stopper in jimbro

  62. It’ll be like pushing MJ’s stool in.

  63. That’s my plan

MJ thinks it’s just a friendly visit.

  64. Jimbro, that tweet is perfect, hahahaaaa

  65. Nah, I’ll push the cork in when the whiskey bottle is empty but at the rate I drink liquor it’ll be late February or early March before that happens.

  66. I took a break from the fifty zillion supplements today and just ate normally. Last HCQ, and advil for residual body aches. While I was sick and maximizing the supps, I felt like I was constantly needing water. Must have drank at least a gallon on Thursday even though I slept most of the day. Wonder if all those minerals and other substances may have been creating an issue for my kidneys.

  67. Please don’t put anything on my Facebook thread – I thought my comment reply was only going to my BFF. Even my dad got in on the fun….

As of this afternoon, daughter and SIL have tripled down on the lunacy – we will have to test ANY time that we come for a visit until he is old enough to get a vaccine (5 years old). Never mind that this is going to be LONG gone by that time, they just aren’t willing to take any chances.

    Well, okay, then.

  68. I’m sorry your daughter and her husband joined a cult, Teresa.

  69. I would never Teresa. Not without a free light. I did want you to know what I would have said.

  70. Free- green

  71. They going to test everyone who is around their kid for 5 years, or just you guys?

Plus, if the vaccine works for their kid, why isn’t it good enough to work for you and a visit?

  72. Because reasons, Car in…..

I refuse to support their COVID Fear Porn, so I’m just going to wait them out.

  73. The vaccine will be off the market by then.

  74. That’s what I have tried telling her. You can’t reason someone out of a position they have reasoned themself into.

    I did send her this:

  75. “Thirdly, Coetzee said that her findings suggest omicron attacks the musculoskeletal system to start with and therefore symptoms, when they appear, impact muscles, bones, joints and ligaments and might be described as aches and pains by those afflicted, ”

It also feels like the day after a really bad car accident, or being hit by a bus.

  76. Dad’s visiting angel helper just talked to one of her friends who works at Macy’s at the mall on the Strip – earlier today a bunch of guys in black hoodies strolled in with axes, tried to break into the jewelry cases and when they failed they just strolled out. They called the police but they haven’t shown up. The Clownifornication of Las Vegas continues. It’s only going to get worse from here.

  77. Those jewelry cases are racist and must be replaced.

  78. One barncat missing for at least 18 hours. I don’t know if we’ll see her again.

  79. So,
“Delta Omicron” is an anagram for
    “Media Control”…

  80. I have to say I sure hope that doctor in Maine sues the pants off of those people and gets them psych evaluated. That is criminal and they know it

  81. Found her. A little starved for attention, but that’s normal. I think she was just out hunting on the edge of the cornfield or something. Hope she hasn’t started crossing the road.

  82. The eruption from space is *Impressive*…

  83. TiFW, if I were your daughter, I’d worry about RSV a lot more than covid. Honestly, if you don’t feel well, stay home. No testing required.

  84. In response to the meme from today:

The “luck of the Irish” is that in spite of all the awful that’s happened to us and all we’ve already got stacked against us (English, whiskey, the Curse)… there are still Irish.

  85. Teresa’s responses should be nothing. Silence. Stay off shared social media, too. Silence is golden, but it’s also leaden.

  86. That’s kind of where I am now, Laura. Daughter is upset because she will be going back to work soon, and won’t have time to spend with us (she works from home).

Haven’t told her that we aren’t coming to visit with her, we’re coming to spend time with the baby.

  87. sorry your offspring is being assholes

  88. man, I really want to reply to that.

But I won’t. no gasoline on that fire, no worries

  89. Dudley eventually regretted parasailing.

  90. Woken up by body aches again. Scott said he saw info indicating that for folks in my age category these last up to a week post acute infection. Less intense than on prior days, much much less but they still suck. Beats not being able to breathe though. New covid is better than classic covid.

My critical review of Omicron, a musculoskeletal version of covid 19: I give it 4 stars. Unpleasant, but superior to the alternative in every way. Don’t miss it, catch it if you can, it’s a good one, as viruses go. I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without hcq, though, so get on telehealth, buy yourself a supply and spread it around to everybody you know who catches this. We have saved three people so far from extended acute illness with our batch. I took the longest to recover at nearly 48 hours.

  91. Indonesia has only vaxxed about 1% of their population but they initiated an EUA for ivermectin back in July. Their deaths to covid now is pretty much a flat line and has been since then.

  92. nobody likes me
    everybody hates me
    i’m sitting in the garden
    eating worms

  93. *looks around*

*coyly slides HumpTarp™ off one shoulder*

  94. *places HumpScraper™ nearby and poses attractively*

  96. So glad barn kitty came back. She greeted me for pets when I went out to free the chickens for the day.

  97. When I was a pup, we had neighbor barn cats and in-house cats. When a fan favorite young male (Tucker) went walk-about for a few days then returned, I walked him to over to neighbor lady when I found him.

She scooped him up and hugged him saying “I’m going to make you a housecat”. Not sure if he ever got to go outside again.

  99. I’m guessing it was an extended hunting trip. She’s the one who’s been taking down chipmunks since she was maybe 3 months old. She doesn’t play with them for long, either, she’s eating those suckers.

  100. Glad the W’s have kicked omicron’s ass!

    Yep. It’s snowing here.

  102. low pressure off the coast from the south east.

  103. Fanks Roamy

Reminds me, I need to restart a vitamin regimen. Thanks to the Magnesium information seen here a while back, I got a coupletree different forms of Mg and I’m going to vary my intake between them, throughout the week. Particularly interested in seeing how the Mg L-threonate helps with cognitive activity. We seem to forget a lot more stuff these days.

    (Imgur video with sound)

  106. Hey guys, I got nothing today (obviously). Sorry about that.

  107. I can do a poat! I have a bit of time right now.

  108. I would do a poat but I wouldn’t know what to make it about.

  109. MLK Tribute Post

  110. NOOOOoooooo

    The Possum Post
