  3. Everything woke turns to shit, and now NASA is sponsoring a conference on “how to explore the Moon responsively, ethically, and inclusively.”

  4. Lunar exploration only matters if disabled black lesbian Gender Studies majors have boots on the regolith.

  5. And now the nonbinary adviser who wanted NASA to change the name of the James Webb telescope (they said no) has quit in protest. Byeeee.

  6. It/zir said that not re-naming the telescope was a horrible blow for all queer astronomers.

  7. I’ll rename a pair of binoculars after my anal sphincter if that’ll placate it.

  8. I’m sure that enraged at least two people, and mildly upset tens more.

Probably fewer people than those who rage angrily at a sunrise, but still not zero.

  9. I want that gumbo recipe, too.

True story, supermarkets in Montana do not sell okra, so don’t even bother looking.

  10. “The telescope was a horrible blow for all queer astronomers.”

This is the best sentence in all of written language.

    FU Shakespeare, Keats, et al.

  11. Hay farmer…

I have a question: I tend to get a pretty mild to severe headache after endurance workouts. Anywhere from 20-35 miles biking. I drink like 800 gallons of water and it doesn’t do much good. What am I missing here? What nutrient or whatever is escaping me that I’m not putting back?

    TYIA, autist weirdo.

  12. What’s funny is hearing the millennials bitch about other millennials.

  13. Salt. Sodium chloride and a little potassium chloride. All that sweating followed by fresh water is flushing you out. If you’re running on sugar, it might be that too, but I’d start with salt.

  14. Salt.

  15. I recommend this: https://tailwindnutrition.com/

  16. wakey wakey

I don’t know why you asked the farmer. We pretty much have one endurance person here.

Saw on Revolver that an epidemiology expert at Yale is saying that the unvaccinated should fear the vaccinated. Jesus.

    ——

I’ve been thinking/saying this for weeks.

It’s obvious when you look at Israel or Singapore or Waterford Ireland.

  18. I’m not sure their reasoning is sound. I’ve learned that the label “expert” or “professional in that field” or “researcher” is subject to grants, federal rules and ideology.

  19. They arlready have defensive articles up about Powell’s death. THEY ARE GOING TO WEAPONIZE HIS DEATH.

Look, facts are facts. he was elderly . He was vaccinated. He died. it is what it is.

  20. Don’t be afraid of salt…or magnesium.

  21. Florida cases are down 88%. But never mind, that doesn’t help the lefty narrative.

  22. FFS Powel was old and had cancer. He’s lucky he lived as long as he did. We don’t even know what else he had. Diabetes? We don’t know and frankly I don’t care.

  23. I don’t know why you asked the farmer. We pretty much have one endurance person here.

    ——–

Hold up, girl, have you prone paddled a mile recently?

  24. Well, he didn’t ask you either.

He asked the guy who basically HATES endurance workouts.

  25. I don’t know why you asked the farmer. We pretty much have one endurance person here.

He identifies as a rented mule.

  26. One more little bit for our little biker fellow – every 30 minutes you need a dose. I usually don’t need anything if I’m only going for an hour – but anything beyond that, you need to re-up that shit every 30 minutes – starting of course at the first half hour mark.

  27. I don’t hate them, I consider them wasteful. Anytime I want an endurance workout, I could do yardwork for as many hours as I like.

  28. I’m not always perfect about it. I often don’t take anything until I hit mile 5 on my long runs. My ironman buddy says every 30 minuets, so I’m assuming he’s got it down better than me.

  29. My go to treatment for headaches is always coffee.

  30. I’ll assume our “little biker fellow” is running a normal blood pressure and isn’t hypertensive with a prodromal headache warning him about blowing an aneurysm and the spike protein. Or magnesium.

  31. I couldn’t help myself and ordered a Let’s Go Brandon t-shirt.

  32. “Don’t be afraid of salt…”

Wait, what happened to this place?

  33. Leon was the name of the book on iron you mentioned?

  34. Dumping Iron by P.D. Mangan.

  35. New York state is more highly vaccinated than Florida, with same population. NY has DOUBLE the case rate.

Anyone heard that on the news? No, because DeSantis is killing everyone when he isn’t.

  36. I want a Let’s Go Brandon shirt, but don’t want to deal with assholes in this town, just yet.

  37. So trans and whatever students imagine a world where contractors can be to-the-minute specific about when they’ll arrive and how long it will take them to do whatever. AND, they’d prefer non-cis males.

Yea, ok. I got an idea – why don’t you create this business model? See how it goes.

  38. Come on, Car in, girls can do anything a man can do! We’re all equal!

  39. can’t wait for pictures of the all trans construction crew

  40. I did ask you.

I don’t know why you think I asked Leon. And thanks!

  41. I assumed you asked Leon because he identifies as a farmer.

    I’m more of a gardener.

  42. BP is normal

    Resting pulse is 45-55

    Moobs are non existent

    Eyes are hazel

Mangina is an innie (I don’t know what this means)

  43. So Saint Colin Powell now was the image of perfection and he died because of the unvaxed, and was the greatest Republican military figure ever.

    Have I got it right?

  44. Peter Fray-Witzer has too much cum in his rectum.

  45. I didn’t have a garden this year, just a squash patch. Garden next year, hopefully.

  46. I am a cis-hunchback femme/ gardenhaver but I also identify as LGB/FJB.

  47. I really liked the part about Powell being a staunch Republican, yet supporting every Democrat that runs for president.

But we can’t talk about that.

  48. Let’s Go, Brandon!

  49. I have a new found appreciation for squash. Not enough to fill my windows, though.

I have way too much pumpkin in the fridge. so no seed roasting this year. *sadface

  50. Does this look infected?

  51. We hired a woman carpenter a few weeks ago. It’s no big deal, we’ve had them before.

It so happens that we are working on the building right next door, so we don’t have a portajohn on the lob like we always do because the “guys” can just use the office.

So we have an upstairs bathroom that we keep real nice for staff and clients, and then we have one in the basement that is kind of a…. well, basement bathroom for the guys. Yesterday the main bathroom was occupied, so Jess went down to use the one in the basement. She came up carrying the girly calendar one of the guys hung up down there and handed it to the office manager.

I was pissed. I’d have told her to march her ass right back down and put it back where she found it.

I mean, you want to be a carpenter? That’s awesome. Go pound some fucking nails and maybe the guys will respect you.

    Then I found $1,000.

  52. And calm down, Mare.

  53. One of our call rooms was absolutely plastered with centerfolds that eventually got denuded when the program started accepting more women. I imagine the same has happened with all the porno mags kept in the desk although the internet probably was a bigger influence on that than the women.

    Heh

  55. but but but we have to change everything to make someone more comfortable!

  56. I’ve been thinking a lot about the rules. There are so many rules to follow in lefty ideology.

I think it attracts people who LOVE rules but also like to pretend they don’t. Same for polyamory – which is my current obsession.

It’s all about the ever expanding rules and how to keep up on them. Your partners and society must follow the rules. Always the rules. If I like you, you have to talk to me a certain way, with certain words but only if it’s Tuesday during a waning moon. If not, we use a different set of words but only if it’s a waxing moon. Not on Wednesday. No words on Wednesday. We must remain silent, unless you carry a very special rock in your pocket.

From a high level there are a few things going on here.

    1) people who can’t navigate the ambiguity of life try to put up borders to help themselves feel comfortable

    2) they like control because they are powerless

    3) truth is subjective so elaborate rules must be constructed to enforce some sort of objectivity

    4) They are fucking nuts

I think this is why the left embrace covid so quickly.

  57. When I was accepted into our program there were two women in it and only one woman had finished it years before. Four residents a year for at least 20-25 years of resident classes. By the time I left it was pretty Even Steven, M to F.

  58. I’m more of a gardener.

    He is tractorless.

  59. This wasn’t a porno calendar, and there aren’t any porno mags. Many of the tool companies (heh) put out calendars every year with hot chicks dressed like construction workers holding the various tools (heh).

It’s just normal construction shit. When I hired Jess I didn’t think she’d pull this shit, so I’m disappointed.

  60. polyamory – which is my current obsession

  64. I keep a very special rock in my pocket at all times.

  65. Polyamory (from Greek πολύ poly, “many”, and Latin amor, “love”) is the practice of, or desire for, intimate relationships with more than one partner, with the informed consent of all partners involved.

You should read some of the threads about poly relationships at reddit. They’re hilarious.

50% are about rules. Why can’t people follow the rules?

50% are sadness about how it isn’t working out because the rules aren’t followed. There should be rules so no one is sad.

30% are about a guy who really wants his wife to date to her hearts content, and he’s really happy for her. Truly he is. But he can’t seem to get past supporting her financially, though. Especially because he can’t seem to find someone else to date also. She’s doing fine…lots of dates. Lots of men interested but for some reason he can’t find anyone who wants him. Oh well, guess he’ll just play some video games and go to work so she can have fun. She needs money for her weekend dates. He’s truly, seriously happy for her. She just said she loved me when I gave her all of my money! He loves being poly! She’s going to come back after meeting a few men later today. Better get more money for her…maybe he’ll be told she loves him again.

20% are about asexual people involved in relationships with multiple people and they’re really, really happy. If only everyone would follow the rules, they’d be super duper happy. And why do they feel excluded? Everyone is so happy. Why are they not happy when they’re so happy? Why are they so suicidally happy?

70% are men claiming not to be gay but they have a boyfriend. It’s normal to be married and date men. She might not know, but that doesn’t mean it’s not poly and totally normal. Why can’t she accept me as a poly man that isn’t gay but wants to suck it?

    10% are about cats.

  69. So Leon is Amish.

  70. Leon is mostly not interested in maintaining any more small engines than he has to.

  72. So what did you take? Better pay and no vax mandate?

  74. So what did you take? Better pay and no vax mandate?

Yep. It’s not a ton more money after I account for the diff in 401k match, but it’s still more. 1 year contract, optional hiring thereafter.

  75. thinking they are going to reconsider?

Unless the XO is cancelled or overturned in court, their hands are tied. Well, metaphorically. No CEO of any fed contractor went to bat for their people. No one pushed back but the poor schlubs at the bottom. Leadership just went along with it.

  76. Bongino went to bat for his radio show. Sometime somebody has to step up, or lose someone they can’t afford to lose.

Where I work now did that to me back in the day. I was the “temp” full time worker, so I got cut loose. After the work went tits up they realized who was doing all the tasks.

  77. There’s a lot of buzz around the Great Resignation. I guess about 15% more employees are quitting for diff jobs.

Just talked to a guy who was vaxed in April, now has covid. Elderly mom living with him, so everyone in the house is wearing masks. Ugh.

    ———

Am I taking crazy pills? Spoiler, unfortunately, I’m not. WGAF if you have covid? It is not a death warrant, and depending on your health you’ll never know you have/had it without being tested BECAUSE YOUR CASE IS SO MILD. If you get it the numbers say you will have a mild case of it. And if you’re in really bad health and a fatty you’re screwed but you would be with the flu too.

I was so pissed today, I’m in target and 95% of people were wearing masks INCLUDING CHILDREN. WTF is going on??????

    Calm down, mare.

  90. I think you’re a selfish gay prick if you adopt children and deny them a mother.

  91. In this case, Mare, he’s being red-pilled because the vax was sold to him as a way to not get covid, and he knows the vax isn’t preventing him from giving it to mom. 2 weeks to flatten the curve.

  92. was this the interview you were watching re: Stelter, MJ?
    ———–
    yes

  93. Oh man, I need this shirt

  94. Do we have good numbers on getting the vax and then getting covid?

I remember hearing it was going to be zero. Then maybe .5%. Then it was you can still get covid but it wouldn’t be bad. Now basically everyone I hear of getting covid has been vaccinated.

Does anyone find that weird? Me either.

  95. Hard numbers are hard to find. What they’re still pushing is “milder cases for vaccinated individuals”

  96. Yeah its strange.

I can only find that there are .01% breakthrough covid cases so don’t worry about it. Also, you’re going to get covid but it won’t be bad.

    WTF

  97. also, I still need the vax even though I had covid, because then i’ll be super immune.

  98. anything is possible, when you can redefine any word to mean what you want it to mean.

  99. In a polyamorous relationship is it against the rules to go “yes, Yes, YES!!!!!” when you come?

    Just curious.

  100. Mare, my older brother is “married” to a Puerto Rican guy from NYC. They’ve been together longer than both of my marriages. They’ve adopted 4 or 5 kids over the years but they’re all nieces and nephews of his husband’s. He had a big family and his sisters had a lot of kids they couldn’t handle because they were addicts. The older ones have moved out and the two with them now include a 20-something girl working for FLIR and a kid in middle school. While I agree with you on principle I still think they provided a better place for them than foster care. I don’t think they would have adopted kids of their own volition if they weren’t related.

  101. Buttajudge is doing it for his image.

  102. He’s also a lazy ass grifter without a single positive accomplishment to his credit.

  103. heh, Let’s Go Brandon is the #1 rap song in America

  104. Adopting kids from the foster care system is a bit different than what mayor pete did. A home is better than foster care home. But ideal is a mom and dad in a good relationship. At issue is that, and people want to say it is no different. Well … it is. Because women are moms and dads can’t be moms. Moms can’t be dads either. Our experiments with these things have not gone well.

Lesbian couple related to work friends adopted (out of the foster care). It really was a vanity/political thing and for years I had to hear from their (gay) best friend what horrible parents they were. But, TWO MOMMIES IS BEST , and say anything else and you’re a hater.

  105. Totally normal when you change the official definition of “vaccine” to include everything down to chicken soup.

  106. The problem with my Let’s Go Brandon shirt is the weather. It’s going to be too cold to wear just a t-shirt soon so only I will know what I’m wearing as I go out in public. I also ordered some “I did this” stickers with goofy Biden pointing at something in the distance to put on the gas pumps here and there to emphasize the rise in gas prices

  107. Jimbro,
“He had a big family and his sisters had a lot of kids they couldn’t handle because they were addicts. The older ones have moved out and the two with them now include a 20-something girl working for FLIR and a kid in middle school. This ^^^^^ is the exact opposite of Buttigig’s situation.

One is selfish, one is selfless.

  108. I guarantee you, a mother/father adoptive situation was available for the TWO children Butafag adopted.

  109. wow, the McCullough interview on Deace today is great. Highly recommended, hour 2 of the Steve Deace show.

  110. haha, how has Let’s Go Brandon not been banned from Facedork or Twitface?

  111. Gas prices are really high!

  112. Perpetual vanilla Christmas gift project is going pretty good. I had a bunch of chopped vanilla beans in a fifth of bacardi white rum since the end of June, while I dithered around looking for the right bottles to use. Recently bought a bunch of dark amber 8-ounce bottles and put many more vanilla beans in them, filled each about half or less with the already-infused Bacardi, and then topped them all off with some new vodka. Been shaking each bottle every day. I just opened some of the caps yesterday to sniff. If it smells like vanilla and not really boozy, it’s ready.
It’s ready. But it still has lots to infuse. By Christmas or so they will be really really nice. Rich.
I highly recommend the vanilla beans from Uganda. Higher vanillin content than Madagascar beans and no chameleons will have to die.

I don’t actually know if chameleons live there, or are killed by vanilla bean harvesting, but this is how environmentalism and science is done now, so. Whatever.

  113. I’m sure the brain trusts at Facedork and Twitface are working overtime on it

  114. Now I get to work on making pretty handmade labels.

  124. He improved IN by his absence. I have to give him credit there.

  125. no chameleons will have to die.

  126. Butafags one positive accomplishment

Bringing attention to the Womens Care Center in South Bend, Indiana. In his unbridled passion for abortion, Mayor Bootyedge overruled the city council vote for rezoning and tried to shut down the crisis pregnancy center. They found another location and are saving babies. Because of the nationwide coverage, they are now on my regular donation list, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. It cost me more in shipping than the fucking thing cost in the first place.

  156. You know the freak who was sworn in as a 4 star admiral, what does that mean?

I don’t get it. He’s not in the navy right? Admiral, where?

  157. Can anyone briefly explain the problems at the ports? I know several new laws in CA have created Cluster***** but I don’t get the big picture.

  158. My Satanic Secretions recipient is getting the stuff I like to give. Your individuality means absolutely nothing to me.

  159. Ahhh, I see that freak became a 4 star admiral in the National Health Service.

    So, more stupid bullshit.

  160. “I’m allergic to nuts…”
    BLAH BLAH BLAHBLAHBLAHHH

    *sends granola*

  161. I’d like to participate. I could crochet somebody a bag of dicks perhaps.

  162. Persimmon wine is out. That stuff takes pounds of sugar and 6 months to ferment.

    I’ll send lizards.

  163. How long does it take a lizard to ferment? Google is not helpful on this point.

  164. “Brought to you by Pfizer!”

  165. I had measles as a kid. It was in my shot record. I dropped out of college. Not really college, UNM. As an Hispanic female, they got in touch with me to finish my degree. Required a measles vaccination. I showed my shot record that had my measles and my chicken pox positives. Had my 7 small pox vaccinations. They would not let me finish my 3 hours of math without proof of vaccination. I could GAF about a degree. Now, Harvard on the Rio Grande is requiring proof of Jab for all students. Friend had COVID. Has the antibodies. Trying to get religious exemption.

  166. I still have trinidad scorpion salsa, too.

    Not for chips. No.

  167. Ethan ran the O Course for the first time today. Also got introduced to all the instructors. he said he did well- his size gives him an advantage for the obstacles. The class that started last monday (last week) – the most dropouts in the first two weeks in 22 years.

  168. That looks exhausting Car in.

In Other News, we’re gonna get a big hotel in the shape of a moon: https://tinyurl.com/uysxum4n

    Maybe.

  169. We voted today. Dominion machines. We took our own pens. No more sharpies. Car in, as a kid, we had a lot of Navy Frogmen at the house. I’m older than Navy Seals. My dad was the Corpsman for the froggies. It was different. I loved Dam Neck better than Coronado.

  170. I never knew their real names. It was always aquatic animals. Turtle, Froggy, Otter, Shark. When my dad was with his Marines, we never knew their real names, either. Gunny, Jarhead, Devil Dog.

  171. Unhinged is weird. Very Falling Down. OMITB is awesome. Steve Martin is great. Worth the HULU. I’M quietly rooting for the Braves. I H8 Manfred.

  172. That’s awesome Oso

  173. It was my childhood. Married military hosted single military at their homes. Our neighborhood was segregated. My family didn’t understand. Black Navy attended holidays at our home. Periodically, neighborhood kids couldn’t play with us. Landlord told neighbors about my mom being Mexican.

  175. Made Mr. RFH laugh, saying I was going to crochet a bag of dicks as a Secret Santa gift and put Hostage names on them.

HHD poat is ready to go, though I don’t know what happened to my google-fu or DDG-fu. Searching for hunks and got conjoined twins, wtf.

  176. Glad you are out of the hospital, BroTim, hope you feel better.

  177. Heh, meme going around that University of Tennessee is seeking information on the fans who were throwing stuff on the field and at the Ole Miss coach at the last game. Not to be punished, but because they need a quarterback who can throw.

  178. Anyone have experience with red light cameras?
I was going to pay it because I don’t give a f* about it. but looking at the pics I am like what did I do wrong? I am on a minor road turning right on a major road.
1st pic shows me behind the stop bar with my brake lights on.
2nd pic shows me 2.2 seconds later mostly around the corner making a legal right turn on red.
There is left turn on arrow traffic in the main road intersection that would have got hit if someone on the main road ran their red light.

  179. I am not some blue hair looking through my steering wheel (360 degree blind spot) that takes 2 weeks and a written invitation to make a right turn like Mare. My Camry V6 can barely get out of it’s own way, but in 2 seconds it can turn 90%%D around a 35′ radius corner.
    90 degrees =%%D

  180. Sobek, how it must wear on you. Thank you for what you do. It must seem thankless and futile at times but you never know who you are setting an example to.

  181. Carin, I heard one of the main things the caused recruits to wash out of BUDS was the cold. The water is always cold and they are in water a lot.

  182. Lol, Carin’s kids are no strangers to cold. Or water. Or cold water.

  183. Thanks, Lumps, but I had nothing to do with that. I just know the people who did.

  184. Daniel experienced religious persecution.
