He’s right behind me, isn’t he?

  1. Greg Maddux and pussy made me lol in my underoos.

  2. Mornin chumps. Here’s some baroque music by a guy you never heard of:

  3. Looks like I’m not the only one running slow this morning. But it’s a fine post!

  4. wakey wakey

  5. Also, why TF does the WP app still show my old headache guy avatard instead of possum 5?

  6. Here’s some baroque music by a guy you never heard of:/

    You don’t know me!

  7. I had a flight get cancelled on me last August. When I was on the phone with customer service, they said they would do nothing for me – no hotel, no anything at all – because the cancellation was weather related. (I have literally never had a good experience on American Airlines.) I’m guessing that’s why SW is blaming their cancellations on nonexistent weather.

  8. I meant other than you, HS. Obviously. So what’s your theory on who murdered Leclair?

  9. Let’s Go, Brandon!

  10. Let’s go, Brandon!

  11. High winds all night long, gusts to 60 in the forecast today. Another lovely NM day. Supposed to get into the low 20’s tonight.

  12. 40’s here last night. Hit 30’s a week ago.

  13. Did I mention I have a nephew named Brandon who’s a pretty good baseball pitcher in college?

So I guess I have OG “Let’s go, Brandon” cred…

  14. Proper autumn weather due after front passes through on Saturday. About damn time. Summer always lingers too long in Alabama.

  15. Also, nice baroque music. Something nice to work to today.

  16. The butler did it.

  17. Whenever I read things about the SW airlines cancellations and why random things are missing in the grocery store I can’t help but think society is unraveling.

It’s not that I can’t get faucets for 9 months or that all of the sudden there’s no beef at the store, it’s the fact that leaders or elites or whatever are so comfortable lying about it.

  18. It is hot here this week. Not loving it.

  19. It is a hate crime to say black guys have big lips, but it’s okay to say they have huge schlongs.

It’s also okay to say white men can’t jump, and white people don’t have rhythm.

  20. Is there anything that’s true anymore? Anything?

  21. Brian Stelter is an anthopomorphic potato.

    That will always be true.

  22. How did Gruden’s emails become public?

  23. How embarrassing…

  24. Mornin chumps. Here’s some baroque music by a guy you never heard of:

    ———

Just because this isn’t IB, and we drink our wine out of box, and eat hot dogs from a 7-11 rolling heater, and wear Costco clothes, and consider Doritos Hot and Spicy a fancy food, and tell “your Mom” jokes doesn’t mean we are all dumbass, hicks.

  25. Gruden’s emails became public because they were investigating what a dumpster fire the Washington Football team was, and they “uncovered” 65k emails. He wasn’t even with the Raiders then, and was also with ESPN.

    No shit.

  26. For the record, I’m not drinking all of October. I had to reset after my delicious foray into mai tais and carby food. I NEVER drink sugary drinks, ever, but this trip I went for it.

  27. My music history is pretty weak, but we can talk about math history if you like.

The history of abstract algebra is fascinating. Two hundred years of development and research before there was anything like a practical application.

And you’re using it to read this comment.

  28. Hugh Hewitt is an absolute ass.

Telling his guest he’s a dumb, dumb, dumby for not getting vaccinated when his guest said he was in the Dominican Republic and they treated him with Ivermectin.

  29. we are all dumbass, hicks.

    ——-

Then again, some of us are…looking at you, mare.

  30. Scientifically illiterate people have been conditioned by the press to see anything labeled as a vaccine almost like a computer upgrade, sort of an unalloyed good.

Hugh should be forced to sit down and talk Gulf War Syndrome with my cousin’s husband and some of his platoon.

  31. Hugh has been wrong so many times it’s incredible.

He was an embarrassingly loud cheerleader for the first stimulus which we all knew at the time was a scam…and has been proven correct.

    Big cheerleader for McCain.

    Big cheerleader for Romney.

    Big vaccine supporter.

And those are just a few.

He’s an educated idiot. And he’d sell his mother for a gig on MSNBC.

  32. He makes noises like an educated person, but he clearly knows very little of value.

  33. Hey! What’s wrong with Costco clothes?

  34. Hew Dimwitt.

  35. Hey! What’s wrong with Costco clothes?

    They don’t stock cargo shorts.

  36. Future BBF nominee

    https://tinyurl.com/5e3cxa5k

  37. They used to have cargo shorts.

  38. sams does. Too far to drive to go to Costco.

But Costco is opening in Ankeny this year, on the way home. Des Moines area will have 2

Hey! What’s wrong with Costco clothes?

    ——-

Nothing, I wear them almost exclusively except for the high end stuff my sister gives me.

  40. Hugh Hewitt is a reasonable man who likes to watch his wife get her ass pounded.

    Square that circle.

  41. Pepe,

$1 per bag is insane. The Wa state plastic bag “ban” finally went into effect. They had push it back due to Covid. It pisses me off and it’s only 8 cents. It’s such a useless virtue signaling law, like most things Democrats do now.

  42. No Costco around here either. We were pretty much a Sam’s Club only town until BJ’s moved in about 2-1/2 miles away.

  43. 15 cents around here. Shaw’s and Dollar General have nice plastic bags that are worth it because you can reuse them several times and not worry if meat juice gets in them before tossing them. Hannaford’s either makes you buy the fancy $2 ones or it’s 15 cents for a paper bag.

  44. until BJ’s moved in about 2-1/2 miles away.

    *cough*

  45. Was there ever a time in America when you could use the initials “BJ” in a serious manner with a straight face?

  46. Ten cents. I’m thinking of buying a case of them at the restaurant supply place (they sell them pretty cheap, the exact same little plastic handle bags) and handing out 1-inch sections/bunches of them to my fellow shoppers one of these days.

No doubt some greenie will be seething at me but it’s not illegal to be nice to others. Yet.

  47. Hugh Hewitt is a reasonable man who likes to watch his wife get her ass pounded.

    Square that circle.

    hahahahahaahaha….classic MJ.

  48. Is it a genetic thing to have ridges in one’s fingernails or is it lack of certain vitamins/minerals in one’s diet?

  49. I thought that was a sign of low vitamin E.

  50. So what’s your theory on who murdered Leclair?

Second shooter on the grassy knoll.

  51. I forgot about this yesterday but it remains relevant nonetheless

    https://www.catholicleague.org/the-dark-side-of-indigenous-peoples/

  52. Probably a sign of low vitamin D.

    IYKWIMAITTYD

  53. Oh, we know.

  54. He’s a fucking frog who composed some good music.

Who gives a shit how he was murdered? Probably choked to death on some fucking snails.

  55. Was there ever a time in America when you could use the initials “BJ” in a serious manner with a straight face?

Yes, from 1978 – 1981, America’s cultural high-water mark during the run of “BJ and the Bear”.

  56. mmmm love murdered leclairs from the donut shop

  57. hahahahahaahah

We may not be cultured but we’re assholes.

  58. Eclairs are pastry, not doughnuts.

  59. Leclair was killed by JR Ewing using a silenced revolver.

  60. Actually it was his brother John who did it, then went on to make a successful career writing murder mystery novels.

  61. An early example of the Jessica Fletcher model, then.

  62. I thought that was a sign of low vitamin E.

Saw a youtube nutrition guy say it was possibly due to low B12 or iron. I eat eggs nearly everyday and red meat about once a week, sometimes less, sometimes more.

  63. Who is Orbmij and has Hotspot inquired about the contents of his arse?

  64. Any idea what kind of oak is growing next to my garage?

    20210927_101715

  65. If it’s within 10′ of the garage, it’s the kind you should yank out of the ground.

  66. guess they don’t have donut shops in michigan, only pastry shops.

*holds pinky out when i speak

  67. That’s a little oak

  68. pretty sure Jason Bourne murdered John Leclair

  69. wow, got all of the hot from the sriracha on the salad today, woowee!

  70. Ah, you guys crack me up.

For all of you music lovers who were already familiar with Leclare’s work, I was not until a couple weeks ago. So go pat yourselves on your will cultured backs. I looked him up on Wikipedia and saw he’s on the list of unsolved murders pre-nineteenth century. I also learned that the murder of Lizzy Borden’s parents was never solved.

  71. No one here answered the question. Aren’t them wasn’t, or no?

  72. I worked one summer at a bakery. Doughnut guy made cream and custard long johns, which are heavy, yeasty bread dough made from bread flour, topped with heavy icing and thicker filling. Eclairs were pastry dough, light and airy, made with cake flour and they were filled with light whipped cream, topping was melted milk chocolate that was applied via dipping before filling was injected. Long johns/doughnuts were fried, eclairs are baked, etc. It’s a fine point, but there are differences.

  73. I assume Leclair was murdered by an unvaccinated person.

  74. local facebook group always makes me feel better about myself, and my situations:

Can anyone suggest local support groups for people who have been through traumatic events like motor vehicle accidents?

  75. really going out on a limb there, sobek

  76. Seems harsh, but funny. Felony theft from a cop

Deep Nuts, Ligma, The Clap, and General Grievous definitely deserve it.

  86. Lizzie Borden took an axe, gave her mother forty whacks. When she saw what she had done, she gave her father forty one.

I read some years back the house was a bed & breakfast place. Booked solid for months on end.

Also I’m generally going 85 in a 60, So if your behind me drafting and don’t have red & blue strobe lights flashing we’re already 25 over, if you really want to just be the leader, just go around on the right.

  98. If it’s within 10′ of the garage, it’s the kind you should yank out of the ground.

I was planning on it. If it’s a decent kind of oak, I was going to move it to another place in the yard. If not, it was going to be pulled like a weed.

  102. Replant it anyway. If it’s not what you like after a year or two, they are easy enough to kill as saplings.

  103. I remember hearing the word “trinkle” as a resident and thinking it was a made up term to fool young interns into saying something stupid. Nope, it’s a real thing

    https://aamedicalstore.com/products/stryker-trinkle-drill

Not that we needed assistance saying stupid shit. Back then it was not the culture of mutual respect that is creating a generation of pussies like we are now.

  104. Also, take a walk and look around for mama tree. Squirrels usually don’t walk a mile to bury a nut.

  105. Asked and answered.

  106. I buy my clothes at Walmart or Kohl’s. If I shop at Sam’s we all end up wearing the same clothes. Lupita, Rita, and I, all bought the same shirt. Dan “What shirt do all the elderly Hispanic women at Sam’s buy?” Lupe flipped him off and Rita said “Fuck you, Dan”

  107. Got it, I think, Beasn. ‘Swamp White’ Oak.

  108. Thx Jimbro! Company core business is repairing surgical power tools, biggest line involves Stryker. I’m gonna ask about the trinkle drill. Never heard of such a thing in 20+ years in MD&D, my curiosity is peeked.

  109. White oak is very nice wood, but your unborn great grandchildren will be the first with a shot at harvesting it.

  110. White oak is awesome when quarter sawn, but quarter sawn sells for prices rivaling exotics and burls. I know, when I’m not fiddling with old junk muscle cars I do a little wood working to unwind.

  111. Speaking of woodworking, how’s all your moms doing?

  112. ^ sorry y’all. That might have been the Vicodin talking, hard to tell here.

  113. I still can’t get anyone here to cut down that fucking walnut.

  114. CoW to Oso: My niece is tiny like you. She wears girls clothes and shoes. Oso to CoW: I’m not tiny. I wear boys shoes and boys clothes. Husky. Boys clothes no longer have the H is for Husky brand. These Velcro shoes are pretty cool.

  115. If you can get away with sifting through plain sawn boards, often you can find enough vertical grain to almost equal quarter sawn.

    (If the dealer isn’t looking.)

  116. And speaking of boards, how’s your mom’s chest?

  117. Black walnut, Leon? There’s a farmer in Whitley county Indiana buying the fruits of the stupid things for some reason. Strike while the iron is hot.
The buyer is about 7 miles south of the county seat on s.r. 205.

  118. My Bro is paying for 24/7 care for my mom. VA care is already feuding with Brocare.

  119. Yeah, but I’ve got to get the tree removed. Toxic to equine hooves. I think the silver maple out front that needs trimming as well is scaring them off. That or all the tree trimmers in the area are spoiled for choice on jobs and just decide that I’m not worth calling back, even when we’ve shaken hands and agreed to a price.

  120. Never apologize for a “your mom” joke.

  121. Mare, Exactly. Low hanging fruit is our forte

  122. Speaking of low hanging fruit, have MJ’s testes descended yet?

  123. Just wondering if his voice will ever change,

  124. I survived the day (so far). Busy, busy day with a newbie engineer, a nice young man, black, pleasantly conservative, polite. Moved to Texas from Minnesota because he was tired of the snow and the politics. He’s visiting all week while we’re workin’ flight hardware. A year older than Rocketboy. He said it was kind of funny not being the token any more. Gives me hope for the next generation.

  125. I saw the pic at Ace’s of gay Superman, and it occurs to me that the tell here is the dude with pink hair and nerd glasses. It’s not so much the writer saying “I want to make Superman gay to push my social agenda,” so much as him saying “I want Superman to be gay for me in particular.”

  126. I just added Hotspur’s last two comments to the secret “HS is gay for MJ” archive, so no one else needs to do that.

  127. Lots of gay dudes appear to have some serious daddy issues, and wanting super-daddy to bone them in the booty is par for that course.

I like hearing this kind of stuff.

  129. Got it, I think, Beasn. ‘Swamp White’ Oak

My husband was thinking white oak. I wasn’t sure as there are a couple with leaves very similar. If it were pin oak, I’d have yanked that sucker right out. Do not like the look of those.

My subdivision was built on farmland…with a cluster of trees here and there. Didn’t really start seeing a stray squirrel up at this end of the street until about 10 years ago…and just a few years ago, a family of them moved in the area.

When we buy another property, which will be soon, maybe I’ll move this bebbeh tree there….for any grandkids of any kind, which may not happen.

  130. The DC tell is the bi soop is Jon Kent. Not Clark. Untwist your panties, H8ers.

  131. Beasn knees, adoption is still an option. Not for us, but future gens.

  132. I would be open to adopting grandkids.

  133. They’ve had several “Superman’s son” iterations over the years. The first “Jon Kent” was actually the son of Kal-El and Diana (Wonder Woman), which at least bypasses the “woman of kleenex” issue. That was in a universe where Lois had been killed by the Joker at some point, though.

DC’s multiverse and time-travel garbage means they’ll just retcon this if they feel like it and pretend it never happened.

It really is garbage, too. They are worse about time travel than Star Trek, and that’s saying something.

  134. We should have made better tree choices when we bought this house. The city planted 2 ash trees…which the ash borers kilt a couple years back…then we planted 2 red maples and 2 yellow maples. Blah. Don’t care for the yellows.

Better yet, we should have invested more in land from day one.

  135. ex-employee who wants to be a girl, gay guy, wants to date straight men … came in last night with his dad, and I waited on him.

    100% yes. Daddy issues.

  136. beasn, tell me more about this adopting grandchildren thing….

  137. Better yet, we should have invested more in land from day one.

Our lifestyle (currently) is not conducive to large land owning unless it remains as is. But I wish we had some.

  138. California is banning small gas engines. Starting in 2024 gas powered lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators…….all illegal.

Fire season is going to have a lot more fuel.

  139. Just slammed a dude on WWF with a 129 point word. Heh.

  140. Fire season is going to have a lot more fuel.

Yeppers. Every year in Vegas we get smoked out by the annual summer CA fires. Funny how nobody ever seems to notice the YUUUUUGE carbon footprint of all that. Gonna get even bigger soon. Can’t wait to get out of NV.

  141. These people are evil. Anything other than the vax that might help with covid, must be banned. Ivermectin, HCQ, now they’re banning NAC, a common supplement. They are also trying to keep people from using aspirin as a blood thinner, because you don’t want that if a common issue is blood clotting.

Ivermectin and HCQ are both banned in NM, our doctor would be happy to give us an Rx, but she’s not allowed, and no pharmacy will fill it. It’s crazy, they actually seem to prefer that people die, rather than treat the virus. Evil.

  142. On a lighter note, evidently it’s Fall decorating season. Our house looks like a pumpkin spice Hobby Lobby blew up in it. Leaves and fake pumpkins everywhere, and a wreath or two.

Read the disclaimer at the top. Could be pricey.

    For HCQ

  145. I’m kind of half-expecting a federal sting on these places, because of course. If they’ll go after parents at a PTA meeting, they’ll do fucking anything.

  146. I disappeared that but you can still contact us about it if needed.

  147. Disappear mine too, if you would.

  148. On a lighter note, evidently it’s Fall decorating season.

Yes, I thought people were going nuts with Christmas lights early, but, no, they are Halloween lights.

  149. That is interesting about the polio vaccine, Lumps. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t affect the little kids, their polio vaxs are fresh.

  150. It’s crazy, they actually seem to prefer that people die, rather than treat the virus.

Yeah, actually they would prefer people to die. Think about it: nearly everything The Left frets about would be basically solved if there were a hell of a lot fewer people knocking about. So, they create a virus and deliberately spread it all over the world. Then create a “vaccination” and force everyone they possibly can to get it. Particularly children who are not in danger of their virus. They really, REALLY want to get that shit into the kids. I think THAT is their real aim. I highly suspect that vaccinated children will find it hard to reproduce when they grow up. It’s also why they’re pushing this “transgender” crap so hard at them. It’s REALLY difficult to reproduce when you’ve mutilated your genitalia.

Yes, they really are that evil. And yes, they are winning. They’ve already won in Australia, UK, Canada, & most of Europe. Western Civilization is on a respirator and they’re yanking on the plug. Put no faith in the ‘pubes; the GOP will never allow a mistake like Trump happen again.

  151. Hadn’t seen appendicitis on the list before.

  152. heh, Hunter and Joe shared bank accounts, could be embroiled!

    Whatever

  153. I thought Barns said the reason they want to give it to kids was because there is some sort of liability waver for a vaccines given to kids. That way once the EUA is lifted the drug manufactures won’t be on the hook for adverse side effects. It’s all about them getting a get out of jail free card, not health or safety. Our government is corrupt.

  154. Daily, erosion reduces Patagonia.
