Meme Oh My Oh

  1. Niiiiice …

  2. You know who cleans up the Canada side of Niagara?

Roger. Nice guy. Part-timer. When he’s done (around noon), he picks up shifts at Tim Horton’s.
My NP grew up near Niagara and goes back a couple of times a year. I forget how long it takes them but there’s no direct East-West route and you end up driving south-west-north like a giant dumbass U. Last few trips have been easier for them now that their oldest daughter can take a shift behind the wheel.

  3. I have zero desire to mow today. I guess I’ll check the weather to see if it will remain dry tomorrow so I can procrastinate with less anxiety.

  4. Wakey wakey

  5. Been to Canada a lot thru the years.
Trying to think of something nice/out of the ordinary to say or recommend…
    Drawing a blank.

  6. Jimbro?

  7. I worked on a project on that other side of the falls, it was pretty clean over there (good job, Roger) but was just… weird. Being in Canada felt strange, like an alternate reality. Nice people, friendly and helpful.

  8. J,brony – the cdc is recommending that you mow your lawn RIGHT NOW!! So that Pepe doesn’t get Lyme disease.

  9. Pepe, you’re the 3rd person who has sent that to me today! I’m actually feeling a little defensive. Meh, no I’m not because it’s mostly true.

95% of communication with colleagues and documentation is typed or face to face communication. Anything I write is printed if I want it to be clearly understood and just a little is scribbling for plausible deniability purposes. Scribbling used to be much more common in the days of paper charts which are long gone.

  10. Rain coming Sunday night so my plan for sloth-dom today remains in effect. If I get any motivation I may head up to the Home Depot and steal a few taco valves if for no other reason than their cool names. Then I can get a chain and hang my taco valves off it for the cover photo of my new rap album.

  11. $100 at Home Depot, $40 on eBay.

  12. rained hard here yesterday and all of a sudden too

  13. Kayaks are spider-free.

It’s a perfect day out there.

I think there will be a lake in my near future.

  14. Sunny with a high of 77.

  15. Kayaks are overrated.

  16. Mrs. Pupster bought a ribeye roast on sale 2 days ago, I carved it into 8 steaks. Grilled 4 last night and 4 more are getting grilled this afternoon because ribeyes are awesome. I’ll get the mowing done NOW so the slothfulness can begin later after the grilling and the cocktails.

As far as I know the ribeyes are also spider-free, which is more than I can say about the mower and the grill.

I want all you H2ers to know that I’m glad you are here, and I appreciate your commenting, and all you posters are doing great with all the posts with content that keeps this place going.

I don’t feel like I have a lot to contribute but I’ll keep grinding because it is important to me, and I like to make my friends laugh.

    *hugs laptop*

  17. I wanted to go to the bookstore this morning, and maybe the fabric store, but the highway is a parking lot. One giant metallic turd being squeezed out of the constipated asshole that is DC/NoVA.

  18. Killing ET
    Liquor store
And walk of shame happened to me yesterday.

Gotta stop, I want to list them all.

  19. Rain, so no mow til tomorrow. Going with my buddy to pick up his new jeep. He’s been scrimping and saving and looking forward to making the acquisition for awhile now. Going to be a good day for him. Goal met, friend to show off to and recieve accolades of manliness. Pretty sure we’re going to have to eat some steak to complete the process. No booze involved, we rarely drink. If there was a strip joint that served good steaks…….

Jam, you got that bang switch installed yet?

Car, boot camp grad is boolshit. If you wanna see him, book a hotel near the base and he can meet you there when he gets released for liberty. The grad you’ll want to attend is when he finishes and recieves his NSW badge (trident). He has a shit ton of “schools” to attend between now and finishing.

  20. Perfectly safe, lets give it to 5 year olds.

  21. If there was a strip joint that served good steaks…….

Funny enough, I know of at least two, one in Portland, and one in Denver.

  22. I can’t remember the one in Denver, maybe Diamond Cabaret (original, I know). Anyway, a mom of a girl came in wearing a jacket with their huge logo on it and my preceptor asked her about it. She was a stripper manager responsible for hiring, firing and enforcing conduct to a bunch of young women with daddy issues. She offered him her card and said stop on by. He, of course, declined the offer. I, of course, accepted it after he quickly left the room. I later rounded up the residents for a trip to the titty bar where they serve steaks. We were on the taco bar side.

  23. That sounds right. A friend used to work for the Glendale PD as a dispatcher, so she knew all of these places.

The one in Portland started out life as a steak house which actually raised beef cattle on a farm in WA, but when the owner realized that he could make more money with titties, he switched over and kept on the kitchen staff.

  24. I can’t even with that, Scott. Wtf is wrong with the medical establishment that they are okay with that?

  25. Oh…oh…

WE’VE GOT BABY FINCHES, Y’ALL! I knew it was happening when I saw dad finch nearby, yesterday morning.

    Theys tiny.

  26. Husband has Olympics on. US is playing Brazil in beach volleyball.
    Brazil gals be thicc.

  27. Tucker had a guy on last night who was talking about Pfizer’s vaccine.

He got kicked off of twitter for sharing Pfizer’s data, which showed the mortality rate in the vaccinated is the same in the control group.

In other words, it may save some people from covid death, but for every one of those there is a vaccine death.

There is no point in giving it to anyone under 70.

  28. Future Jimbro is glad Past Jimbro listened to Scott’s advice about buying Nature’s Miracle Skunk Odor Remover. Two bottles of it sat quietly in the basement, biding their time for the day when they would be recognized as the saviors they were. Today was that day.

  29. Oh dear. So much for sloth.

  30. Was it Rowan, jimbro?

  31. Everyone with a dog should have a bottle of that.

  32. Yeah, there’s been lots of scrubbing of dogs who are not fond of baths. Thankfully it’s warm enough out there that they’ve been in the shitpen since shortly after it happened. Round 2 of cleaning will happen in a bit. Since the entire yard smells like a skunk it’s hard to know if it’s having any effect. We’ll be taking all of the cushions off of the couches and they’ll be sleeping downstairs on the tile floor for the next few days.

  33. Lola instigated it, she has the predator drive. Ollie got sprayed the worst and poor Rowan is stuck outside even though he got hit the least. They were out back chasing tennis balls because Ollie likes to wander to the neighbors when he has his chance if they’re out front.

Ollie gets neutered in 11 days. It might settle him down a little bit but we remember Rowan being a handful until he was about two human years old.

  34. Coolant drained and filled with new. Cockpit table leg fixed. Wiring for USB port at helm done. Bilge cleaned. Now to grease and polish the winches. Then I might stoke a smogey. And chat up your mom.

  35. You misspelled “wenches”.

  36. Grass is still wet.

  37. You misspelled “Bulge”

  38. If thse memes were not enough: TWIP!

  39. The fridges, seeing someone, and windows update were shared with Mr. RFH. Good job, Pupster, and thank you for the model gif yesterday. That was mighty fine.

  40. He got kicked off of twitter for sharing Pfizer’s data, which showed the mortality rate in the vaccinated is the same in the control group.

In other words, it may save some people from covid death, but for every one of those there is a vaccine death.

There is no point in giving it to anyone under 70.

This is incredible. I think I’ve been linking similar here but come on people this is horrible.

  41. Thanks, and you are welcome. I kind of worry about “model gif” repeats because I’m not really invested in the images if you know what I mean. I appreciate your HHD easter eggs every week too.

  42. I might repeat those, too, but I generally use different search words. I figure if she’s that easy on the eyes, you won’t mind seeing her again.

  43. L to R to L

Mowing the grass, Pupster, Cocktail hour

  44. Today, if I ever get my dumb ass off this couch, is repacking the bugout bags, particularly Mini-me’s to take to college. She goes back to MO in two weeks. Tomorrow is a Costco trip, probably a Walmart run, and refilling gas cans. I get my left knee done on Monday so am trying to prep ahead of time. Right knee is weak but not hurting like before.

  45. Lots of people are getting phone calls from boot camp today. No one in Ethan’s division so far.

  46. The boys are all golfing. I’ve got meat on the smoker. Prolly go for a run.

  47. Then I’ll drink an adult beverage and write Ethan another letter. I’ve tried to write every day. I finally got a letter yesterday and I yes I cried.

It was a good letter though. In my defense.

  49. Prayers for Roamy’s left knee.

  50. Prayers for the knee of Romacita.

  51. Winches are greased and shiny. Smogey stoking time.

Mare, how often do you grease your winches?

  52. Mare, we were checking out paddle boards on the lake today.

    Are they quicker than kayaks?

How hard is it to learn?

  53. Paddle boards are a scam.

  54. {{{hugs}}}, Car in.

Prayers up for your surgery, Roamie! Your knee will feel so much better after all of the recovery/PT. Had mine done in 2016 and 2017 – they are doing great!

  55. Lauraw?

  56. Mercy health here in MO is threatening staff.

  57. Roamy, what are you getting done? Are you going to be bionic? Like Steve Austin?

  58. Still no calls received from ethan’s division from anyone. Rumor was 6 (7 eastern) they would be made.

  59. We have a facebook support group for Ethan’s division. lol.

  60. Every now and then covid/vaccination comes up (and it’s against the rules of the board) and I honestly just want to lose my shit on some of those people. Not necessarily from his division – all the graduations date family are all together, then there is boot camp general board. But the covid/vax idiocy … it just drives me nuts.

  61. MIL fell at memory care, again. Mr. B wanted to go in and see her but they said no, due to one of the vaccinated residents testing positive for covid. So they are on lockdown again and are going to put masks on all the residents. WTF. Will they be quarantined in their rooms like the last 2 lockdowns…with masks?

  62. I’m ready to lose my shit, my anxiety is off the charts.

  63. So fucking stupid beasn.

  64. Pat brought up a good point. vaccinated people are covid carriers – but they don’t get sick. So they are actually a more like infection vector than unvax’d especially those who have had covid.

  65. 4 out of 5 of the Ptown cases that were hospitalized were vaccinated.

  66. Ethan carries the flag. Just got off the phone.

  67. I told my that my friend who works covid – they had two patients – that’s it, and both were vaccinated.

  69. He told me he didn’t care if we couldn’t see the PIR – because we refuse to get a shot – he just wants to see us that weekend after SOMETIME. I promised we’d go.

  70. I want that sprinkler.

  71. Today I got an all time high score in “You’ll never guess what song I have stuck in my head.” I’m pretty sure it’s unbeatable. That’s because it’s the lyrics to Blackened, by Metallica, but to the tune of Beauty and the Beast.

    Blackened is the end
    Winter it will send
    Throwing all you see
    Into obscurity
    Beauty and the Beast

  72. Car in, just saw something posted on faceass group I belong to Mask-free MO about they’re finding out the vaccinated are carrying a bigger viral load and passing it on to others. Imma see if I can find that.

  73. That’s what my husband was saying.

  74. Also, someone posted this on a thread, where someone’s sister was bullied into the jab…get it or lose your job, by Mercy hospital. She’s a single mother with two kids. Was in tears while getting said jab. She’s hearing religious exemptions are rarely accepted. Anyhooo…

“The secret is NOT to refuse it…
A friend in the NHS is being pressured to take the jib.
‘I write with regard to the matter of potential covid vaccine and my desire to be fully informed and appraised of ALL facts before going ahead.
I’d be most grateful if you could please provide the following information, in accordance with statutory legal requirements:
    1. Can you please advise me of the approved legal status of any vaccine and if it is experimental?
    2. Can you please provide details and assurances that the vaccine has been fully, independently and rigorously tested against control groups and the subsequent outcomes of those tests?
    3. Can you please advise of the full list of contents of the vaccine I am to receive and if any are toxic to the body?
    4. Can you please fully advise of all the adverse reactions associated with this vaccine since it’s introduction?
    5. Can you please confirm that the vaccine you are advocating is NOT ‘experimental mRNA gene altering therapy’?
    6. Can you please confirm that I will not be under any duress from yourselves as my employers, in compliance with the Nuremberg Code?
    7. Can you please advise me of the likely risk of fatality, should I be unfortunate to contract Covid 19 and the likelihood of recovery?
Once I have received the above information in full and I am satisfied that there is NO threat to my health, I will be happy to accept your offer to receive the treatment, but with certain conditions – namely that:
    1. You confirm that I will suffer no harm.
    2. Following acceptance of this, the offer must be signed by a fully qualified doctor who will take full legal and financial responsibility for any injuries occurring to myself, and/or from any interactions by authorized personnel regarding these procedures.
    3. In the event that I should have to decline the offer of vaccination, please confirm that it will not compromise my position and that I will not suffer prejudice and discrimination as a result?
I would also advise that my inalienable rights are reserved.’
The point being though, is that they CANNOT provide that information but you’ve NOT refused…”

  75. Ethan carries the flag.

    Otherwise known as the Guidon.

  76. It was a WashPO article someone screenshot…the vaccinated infected with Delta have viral loads similar to the unvaccinated.

CDC were so alarmed that they changed guidance for the vaccinated before making the new data public.

But…bb-b-but…they must continue to emphasize the efficacy of the jabs while acknowledge that “much milder” breakthrough cases are not so rare after all and the vaccinated are transmitting the virus.

  77. Joebama and demrats promote new mask mandate, then this happens..

“At least one of the studies that was cited by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to justify changing their guidance on masks was based on a vaccine that is not authorized for use in America and was rejected by a peer review.

The study in question from researchers in India claims to show that a COVID-19 Delta variant infection generates a higher viral load in comparison to other variants.

Despite no mention in the study of viral loads from the variant against unvaccinated individuals, the CDC cited it in yesterday’s updated brief as evidence that the Delta variant is transmissible from a vaccinated individual with a breakthrough infection.

“Studies from India with vaccines not authorized for use in the United States have noted relatively high viral loads and larger cluster sizes associated with infections with Delta, regardless of vaccination status,” the CDC said.”………more at link

  78. Scott, the only advantage to a paddle board is the size. They are NOT faster. And unless you have clear water and fun stuff to look at while paddling they can be boring. My husband rides waves with them and enjoys it. They are expensive but Costco sells them as does Sams club and they come with paddles. But ANYTHING that puts you on the water is a positive in my book.

I only stand up paddle in the winter here (Hawaii) when there are whales, that’s pretty thrilling.

  79. I paddled your mom.

  80. What Mare said. My cousin only paddles with his kids that are too young to kayak. Or zip line. His youngest is graduating from paddle board to kayak. Unfortunately, they are at 29 Palms. His first time with family.

  81. Thank you.

  82. Surf whored.

  83. Pups, I love the memes. Thank you.

You mentioned a day or two ago that you got a device to clean out the laundry vent lines. What’s that thing called? I just spent several hours taking my dryer apart and pulling out like a pound of lint, but it looks like the line inside the house might have problems, too.

  84. I have Dan looking into a weekend getaway for my birthday. Not looking good. Everything is booked or real expensive. 20th Anniversary Of 9/11.

  85. dryer lint brush. I bought one at lowes. worked great and clothes dry faster too

  86. I regret not taking surfing lessons when I lived in California. I should find a place out here on the East Coast, although my understanding is that the surfing isn’t as good as out west.

  87. Wind is normally from the wrong direction.

  88. there are a ton of kids here and lots of pregnant ladies. rural Iowa will keep your population up, and there’s lots of trump flags

  89. Garbage doll is up to $96.

    Best garbage ever.

  90. That Provincetown group the CDC looked at to get their “vaccinated breakthrough numbers – GAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!”.

Unmentioned was the nugget the 87% of the infected were men.

Also unmentioned was the fact that June and July had a BUNCH of ” events” catering to the gay population, and most of those who were initially diagnosed were ALL gay men who presented to the ERs with different complaints.

Now, maybe, just maybe, most of those showing up ALREADY had compromised immune systems? Most of those gay men were between the ages of 30-35 – I’m guessing they are in town for a good time. And I’m also willing to bet that most, if not all, of those who presented with symptoms already had HIV, AIDS, or some other STD seen in higher proportions in the gay male population.

The articles don’t say, and I don’t know if the CDC report says either – it’s “private”. But if that is the case, then most people who have had the vaccine and who DON’T have a compromised immune system are probably okay.

And yet again, Fauci is protecting male homosexuals at the expense of the rest of the US population.

IF that is what is happening here. So far, nobody is bothering to dig into the numbers.

  91. Actually, it is surprising that 13% were women.

  92. French farmers show up at Macrons house with manure spreaders and tankers of manure and spray the place down. Watch thu upstairs window blow open…

  93. I would have guessed the female population there to be about 5%.

  94. Oh, wait, I forgot about the trans stuff. That would bring it up a bit.

  95. Most of those “women” were born male.

  96. Ask MJ, he knows.

  97. Hotspur too. He was in the Navy. He’s seen things.

  98. Scott,
Which pellet rifle did you get to quietly kill rodents? Was it the Gammo Whisper? I have a piece of shit $25 BB gun that is +/_ 6″ at 50′. The rabbits are raping the peas, corn, and beans, and I want them dead.

  99. Do elephants remember people?

  100. Memes of Your Mother
