Somebody put one of these on a diesel pickup jacked up with smokestacks, and report back.

  1. Love the EV Jeep plug. Of course, posting about it means the party will be over soon. Hopefully he’s a graduating senior and has already received his diploma.

  2. Ben wandered through on his way to school and mentioned he only has a few days of school left. I was like “Wut?” He only goes 2 days a week and they’ve stopped giving assignments for the off days.

This is a frigging crime. And there’s absolutely no reason to think next year will be any different. Can you think of anything that would prompt the teachers and administrations of America’s schools to declare they were ready for full time, in school sessions between now and late August short of firings/layoffs and salary reductions which we all know isn’t going to happen with DOCTOR Jill as the flatulent FLOTUS?

Man, I need to clam the phuk down or I’m going to blow an aneurysm!

  3. Wakey wakey

ROamy – yep, I’m fine. I have a lingering cough, but it’s not that bad.

  4. Jimbro, teachers are our brave, brave front line workers who need fully pay but can’t possibly be expected to risk their lives by working full time with the public. You know, like waitresses, retail workers, and most of the world.

No, just let them stay home and pretend that “zoom” classes are teaching the kids anything.

  5. heh, every post locally about restaurants closing because of short staff starts with “Pay them more!”.

Work harder, and make tips. My tips were greater than my pay, even when I was bussing. It in the effort, lazy bones.

  6. when do the H2 zoom meetings start? Those should be LIT!

  7. imagine the painted in backgrounds we could give to mare.

  8. racists are upset that Tebow is back in the NFL before Kaepernick.

  9. That argument is so stupid. I’ve seen stupid waitresses post it.

racist are upset that 4chan inspired troll sign used by ultra liberal on ultra liberal show, when it doesn’t mean what they think it means.

  11. stupid = lazy. they are probably paying their bills that aren’t mandated by stimmy check

  12. I’m a little behind on this but is the theory that people don’t want to go to work because they’re being paid to sit at home?

  13. but the stupid ones don’t make better tips, and are a drain on the tip pool. Which is always there, because the stupid ones make the producers split tips, and do 1/4 the work, while playing on their phone.

  14. Urrgh. We have a couple of knife shows at the end of the month. The first in Nashville, then one in Atlanta the next weekend. We planned to drive because it’s cheaper than flying and renting a car. Now they are running out of gas in parts of Tenn, and Atlanta. Hopefully they’ll get it sorted out in the next week or so.

  15. not a theory, MJ, facts.

  16. wonder how high gas will get on the east coast. higher than CA?

  17. my brother vacationed in FL from IN. flew the college age kids down for $90. Can’t drive from IN to FL for $90

  18. hey look, National Review is still printed!

    https://www.nationalreview.com/the-morning-jolt/too-much-free-money-employers-refute-dem-claims-on-hiring-slump/

    Trying to be relevant

  19. I read a blurb somewhere, maybe a WSJ newsletter, that Biden “hasn’t seen evidence that government handouts are affecting employment numbers”. Willful ignorance. And he didn’t use the term “handout”

  20. I didn’t realize people were still getting unemployment with extra federal dollars, plus the extra 1500 every 4 months…STILL.

I’m sure they’ll do something dumb to make it work. As in, force a price floor on labor that’s above the current free shit.

  21. Flying out of ABQ is expensive.

  22. Let em stay home. I’m ok with it.

Hell, pay them UBI and get it over with. Perhaps 40K per year would do it.

  23. Gas stations in NC are closed?

hope pupster has a full tank!

  24. Trump wanted to end the extra unemployment, and San Fran Nan had to put it back in, because blackmail.

  25. Hoo boy. Could only got premium grade gas this morning, everything else out thanks to pipeline sabotage.

  26. First I heard of the Covid bonus checks was last year when one of Paula’s friends husband was making more sitting on his ass than when he worked. He was buying all sorts of game systems and video games with the extra dough. Probably still is …

  27. ugh, fill up as soon as you can, bro tim. it’s probably gonna get worse.

  28. I think current unemployment benefits work out to $16/ hr. Even if you pay $17/hr, that’s only an extra $1/hr. Nobody wants to work.

  29. Went on a drive out to Millerton NY recently; if you ever have a chance to visit, check out King’s Highway Cider Shack for a meal. Really good food, fresh and well done. Also grab a 4-pack of their sparkling dry cider. It’s good, champagn-ey. Says ‘keto friendly’ on the side of the can, I was wondering about that. It’s 6.5% etoh, but it is really quite dry. Brut with a nice little tart finish. I bet it would make a fantastic spritzer with some unsweetened seltzer.

  30. So you know who is to blame for all of the misery coming from the pipeline closure right?

OMB didn’t implement the measures that the blue ribbon commission advised be put in place for this exact reason!!!

(They’ll neglect to mention they’ve been giving the same advice for over 30 years)

  31. yeah, it’s not about wages, it’s about lazy. Fight for $15!

  32. love sparkling cider. Made some myself, very tasty! It’s fun to pasteurize carbonated bottles. I use the canner, and had one go off. Pretty loud!

  33. Why pasteurize it, Jay?

I made another double batch of that keto bread yesterday. It feels so luxurious to be able to eat a sandwich on keto. This batch, in addition to rosemary, garlic powder, and white pepper, I subbed out some of the salt in the recipe with some dashi-style miso paste for the umami help. They’re good, but I can’t say they’re so much better than the first batch I made with just the spices.

  34. I’m two hours into a fast and I’m sick of it already.

    Hahahah

  35. I like sweet cider, so there’s sugar in it. I carbonate with yeast, so pasteurizing kills it, no exploding bottles! get to a certain carb level and pasterurize, preventing them from eating more sugar.

  36. gotta try that keto bread.

  37. oh, I’m fasting too, mare. Until lunch.

    *fistbump

  38. over/under on when the first asshole kneels during the anthem in the Olympics, even though it’s banned

  39. Sounds like the east coast and mid south is gonna get to do a trial run of the green nude eel. I’m all about pilot programs to gauge success, or lack thereof, before imposing the shit on everybody. Glad I’m not a participant in this one.

  40. Man, it’s so much faster and simpler than making real bread. Just gotta find the single ingredient, plain finely ground psyllium husk that is unflavored and unsweetened. And it can’t be the one that stirs into water without getting gummy.

One recipe calls for 1.75 ozs of ground psyllium. I had a big cheap container of whole psyllium that I have been weighing out and then grinding in my spice grinder but ran out. When I went to the pharmacy to get more, the only plain psyllium husk product they had was finely ground already and cost an arm and a leg for what looked like a little bag. But I looked at it and realized it was pretty heavy and contained something like 10 batches worth of bread, so it really wasn’t a bad deal.

  41. you can’t grow your own psyllium?

  42. Shit. If that’s modern unemployment I’d have been better off jobless for the past year.

Fucking sick and tired of being everybody’s fucking chump.

  43. Please note, the territory affected by the pipeline shenanigans fits quite well into the territory of people with a history of saying “fuck the Federal government”.

    Not sayin’, but, just sayin’.

  44. Had to bribe Possum with a trip to the coffee shop, but I should be able to go fill the tank in the truck today. I should take the jerry cans too.

  45. The left wants is all to have miserable lives. A cyber attack at the beginning of summer, in the most free states. I hate these people. Yes, I’m saying it. This is CIA. Remember their “no opps in country” is not a thing anymore.

  46. careful mare, you’ll have a rainbow activist after you!

  47. See, a real conspiracy theorist would look at this and think it was a deliberate attack meant to discredit pipelines in general.

    “The trains still work fine!”

  48. I always want to pooh-pooh leon’s rantings. But then things happen.

  49. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/whitmer-orders-line-5-pipeline-shutdown-by-may-2021/ar-BB1b0buD

Governor Gretchen Whitmer is taking legal action to force the shutdown of the Line 5 Pipeline that links Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

Whitmer’s order set a deadline for May of 2021 for the pipeline to be shut down.

The state claimed Enbridge repeatedly violated the 1953 Easement allowing the company to operate dual pipelines in the Straits of Mackinac to transport petroleum and other products.

  50. Fuck the UP. They can use windmills to heat their homes.

  51. A decently large, trained, and equipped mercenary outfit could take and hold any given US city for a month or longer.

    Prove me wrong.

  52. Tucker Carlson made a rock solid case that Fauci is responsible (if not wholly, greatly) for Covid.

There’s some guy my husband follows who’s been saying this from day one.

  53. A decently large, trained, and equipped mercenary outfit could take and hold any given US city for a month or longer.

    Prove me wrong.

No, because of the logistics of it, and the fact that there are too many armed folks.

That said, the system is so fragile that a decently trained and armed insurgent group could do a hell of a lot of damage to the economy.

  54. Can we just make-up some meaning for a gesture everyone has been making for hundreds of years and decide to be offended by it?

Like, let’s say “thumbs up” is a secret “hate whitey” code.

  55. What are the chances that the pipeline attack happened because they knew Biden wouldn’t do shit about it?

  56. If Trans “girls” do not have any physical advantage over normal girls, then the opposite must be true as well. That trans men can compete (and win) against regular men.

Let me know when that happens.

  57. I basically don’t believe anything anymore.

If you would have told me that the head of the FBI, working with the head of the DNI would try to get a sitting president impeached for being a russian spy who has a pee fetish, I’d think you were nuts.

But here we are. And half of the country thinks it’s real.

  58. A friend and I have a long standing disagreement about what’s happening in the country.

I maintain that all cultural issues are merely distractions so the economic fracture isn’t revealed.

That said, all sports should be 50-50. And all teams should reflect the demographic makeup of their city. The portland trailblazers should be half women, half men (or whoever identifies as each, and 90% white, 5% black, 5 asian.

  59. If Trans “girls” do not have any physical advantage over normal girls, then the opposite must be true as well. That trans men can compete (and win) against regular men.

Not necessarily. The argument is, I think, that being on female hormones causes the trans girl’s muscles and bones to weaken to the point where he’s no stronger than a cis-girl. Of course, this brings up the question of what happens when a trans-gril athlete simply stops taking his hormones six months prior to a competition and let’s his body naturally recover. It’s not cheating if your body produces lots of testosterone naturally.

  60. my link for that story was shorter than Car in’s. Green Links, saving energy, one bit at a time!

  61. not to mention the bones are already denser, and more bulky. So Fallon Fox has a built in advantage in MMA fights, no matter how many blockers she takes.

  62. Mack Beggs, the wrestler from Texas – once he got on the men’s team in college, suddenly the information stops. He got ON the team and … ? The glowing stories just fast forward to how he wants to help trans people in the future. There is zero mention of him actually wrestling or … winning.

  63. I understand the taking hormones thing. My point is that if a former man can be on equal footing to a cis woman, because they adjusted their hormones, then the same should be true for a former woman now man. A trans man (former woman) should be on equal standing with cis men in athletics. But there are not. Not even close. At ALL. So … just maybe there is something about being born a gender that makes some things determinate.

As for hormones making a former man weaker – yea, I’m sure that happens. But to what extent? If you were a weak competitor as a man, but then become a woman and are on the top of the list … something in hinky.

And if a 40 year old man, who had a major injury a year or two ago, can come back and be an Olympic female lifter … I’m just calling bullshit.

  64. When Biden talks, he has a mush-mouth. Is that a sign of dementia?

  65. “Dementia is a brain disease and takes many forms. This condition may affect a person’s ability to speak normally. Speech problems can be caused by physical difficulties in speaking—problems with the muscles that allow us to form speech. Alternatively, dementia may affect comprehension.

Speech therapy specialists can help slow down the degenerative process and keep people talking for longer. Early speech therapy intervention can make a huge difference to quality of life for dementia sufferers. It can help them stay independent and feel better in themselves.

    ******

What do you want to bet he gets speech therapy every day?

  66. I’m going to call him President Mush Mouth. Until something better comes along. BUILD BACK BETTER. BUil-Bac-bettta …

  67. You know, I’m not sure what it is but people don’t seem to be super interested in working.

I had an interview scheduled for 10am this morning and the candidate didn’t show. When I reached out to her she said her daughter was doing testing and the time just away from her.

I appreciate the honesty but not sure what to make of it.

  68. Welcome to my world MJ. We have plenty of people who are still not working, or working a couple of morning shifts while still claiming “under” employment. You can make interviews all day and no one shows.

One girl at work – another of the “under-employed” says she has no choice because as a single mother (no choice in that either, huh?) she has no one to watch her kids.

it is terribly frustrating. There is a sign outside of almost every business in town. It’s crazy.

  69. no one values time anymore. late to meetings, lazy attitude about attendance.

  70. What if I don’t attend meetings because I value my time too much to waste it in them?

  71. gas company says 8-4 appointment, I say no. Ok, we’ll schedule 8-10, I say ok. 10 oclock, no one here. Any bets on when? I’ll bet they are thinking 4 again, but I have a 1 oclock I have to be to. I hate time wasters.

  72. I wish I could not attend meetings. 90% wouldn’t miss me. the other 10 I might contribute 5% at.

  73. lack of planning on your part doesn’t mean planning for emergency on my part

  74. Rubbish, you can’t dismiss bone density, size and length. Hip differences, shoulder, legs and hands.

Forget the friggen hormones, there are differences that can’t be reversed.

  75. Of course . Because you can’t actually change your gender. no matter how hard they try to insist that you can. It’s all nothing but cosmetics. The hormone stuff is a factor, but it doesn’t really change anything.

  76. Folks value their time, anyone else’s not so much.

The unspoken rules have unraveled. All that’s left is waiting for the spark they can’t put out.

  77. I don’t watch enough Biden to know, but in 2018 when he came out with a new face he seemed kinda slow. He’s always been stupid but it was obvious he was having a hard time keeping up.

    Now?

He’s probably just trying to make it through the scripted events.

Anyone catch his train speech? His brain is fucked.

  78. Society was increasingly encouraged by the corporate-political class to live on the very edge. Hyperefficiency and maximum utility were the name of the game. Redundancy and margins of safety are, by definition, inefficient, so had to be eliminated. Source all your microchips from overseas, impose increasingly complex requirements for fuel blends making it impossible to move fuel to different parts of the country, finance operations through increasingly byzantine arrangements of debt. At the personal level, we live off of credit cards, buy cheap Chinese junk that looks flashy but costs more in the long run because it so often needs to be replaced, engage in destructive behaviors like random hookups, binge-drinking, and casual drug use, abandon traditional social outlets and religious institutions in favor of expensive hedonism and “finding ourselves,” and forego hard work in favor of get-rick-quick schemes and attempts to become a celebrity.

  79. He used to enunciate better. He speaks now as if he has marbles in his mouth.

  80. That’s his “intellectual stammer,” you fascists.

  81. Has to do with the tightness of his muscles around his mouth/etc. Lips. Maybe he’s just had so much plastic surgery he has lost muscle control?

but he also does that deal where he loses common words – you know, the thing?

  82. Remember when they said that Obama used those pauses (uh, etc) for his mouth to be able to catch up to his brain.

Which … doesn’t even make sense. It would be the other way around. His mouth moving faster than his brain.

  83. Are we fascists or racists? Can we be both?

  84. rascists.

  85. Rubbish, you can’t dismiss bone density, size and length. Hip differences, shoulder, legs and hands.

Forget the friggen hormones, there are differences that can’t be reversed.

This means we have to start sooner and YOUNGER!!!

  86. That is what that means.

  87. I’m sure that … what’s her face with the tv show who has been trans – on tv- since pre-puberty … probably can’t beat anyone physically at anything. Between the drugs she/he takes and the surgery … probably physically a mess.

And let’s not forget the fake boobies. A friend is having her’s taken out because of some weird symptoms that may be fake boob related.

  88. “Jazz” has become an obese androgyne.

  89. “She had a very incredible first surgery—it went seemingly very well, but there were problems. And that prompted a second surgery, which I was not a part of, unfortunately.”

This statement is from a doctor that cut that guys dick off and made a hole.

  90. Mushrooms!

  91. That doctor should be hanged.

  92. humn … I had to look it up . https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/jazz-jennings-shows-off-her-003938052.html

  93. She had three surgeries.

  94. He’s had three surgeries.

  95. Fourth to fix this:

“The women agreed that a “giant bulge” seemed to be blocking her vaginal canal, making both of them worry something was going wrong in the recovery process.

Needless to say, Jazz was more than a little concerned about the strange bulge. “This is freaking me out, because my mom is confused about my urethra, my vagina, and that’s not a good sign to me,” the young advocate told I Am Jazz producers.

  96. There’s a reason why they don’t see a vagina.

  97. the young advocate

you misspelled crazy person with enablers

  98. I think I see the problem

*looks at that last pair of chromosomes

  99. She got accepted into Harvard, but she may not go. She just wants to advocate for change.

  100. feels cold for 60 out there!

  101. Schools in my city went back full time in August. We got a lot of shit from others…as in Karens running locked down districts but eff them. Parents and teachers overwhelmingly wanted our kids in school since they understood the real science as it relates to this plague and kids.

80% of teachers have been injected. Unions are behind them not going to school in-person…Democrats kick back how many millions in this last giveaway..which will be funneled back to them. Fuckers.

  102. What the hell is up with the weather? It’s been overcast and super chilly for over two weeks, with more to come.

  103. FFS, just saw a Credit Karma commercial. Gay dads, one black one white with two mixed kids sitting at the dinner table. Only thing missing is one of the dads wearing a dress.

  104. School is hard, yo.

  105. I’m headed out to the gas station, does anybody need anything?

  106. Pups, pick me up a baggy of bath salts while you’re out?

  107. I just got back from the gas station. It’s high ($3) but still available in northern Hoosierland.

  108. Two chimichangas and a sixer of Bud Ice Tallboys.

  109. Just topped off both vikles (Southern Pronunciation) at $2.499. Prolly won’t ever see that again.

The dress would make it weird….

  112. The kids should be trans.

  113. Regular hereabouts is 2.67. Good luck finding it. I had to get 3.6x Premium this morning. Did not fill tank, I’m on a budget and this shit is BREAKING it.

    Fuck Biden.

  114. Biden’s response was SO strong though. I’m confident that no one will try this again.

But let’s be honest – it’s not as if the Capitol was stormed again.

  115. Biden is gonna say whatever the card says. As god intended for a president.

Lincoln was going through the motions. No idea about what was happening around him.

Same with all the GREAT presidents.

  116. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/queens-speech-includes-ban-on-online-junk-food-ads-to-curb-obesity-k7ghg2tg6

Sure, ban junk food ads. That will do the trick.

I’m not disagreeing with you but goddamn if that isn’t depressing.

  118. There’s a moderately-popular theory in biology that the various organs were — in some super-distant ancestor of modern animals — effectively separate creatures that got “captured” into a symbiotic relationship with the rest, in a manner analogous to the cellular capture of mitochondria and (in plant cells) chloroplasts. The facilities of independent living eventually were lost by those organs, though there are vestiges remaining, such as the high concentration of nerves around the gut, which still “think” to an extent.

The forces of globalism are trying to do the same things to humans, thus the “pods and bugs” lifestyle they are trying to push on us, the equivalent to your liver getting its ration of glycogen from the blood routed to keep it alive and doing the job the rest of the body depends on.

  119. Our would-be conquerors, of course, see themselves as the “brain”.

You’re a toenail. They’ll cut you when you’re too long, or grind you on a stone, and not feel a thing.

  120. With catastrophic inflation coming, what are you guys doing to protect your assets? Gold? Land? Bitcoin?

I’ve been watching the wreck approaching for years. Just don’t know how to handle it.

  124. The Big Lie is that Jim Crow Joe received 81 million votes. I’m doubling down against the assholes that keep telling me I didn’t see what I saw on 11/4.

  125. I’m turning off my phone tomorrow. My mom has an active DNR. She’s refusing treatment. Her siblings are in full panic mode. I can’t deal with this shit right now.

  126. Oso, condolences.

  127. Sorry, Oso.

  128. So sorry, oso. Yes, turn the phone off. Your mom has accepted whatever may come. She’s good so don’t let her siblings get to you.

  129. Condolences, Oso.

  130. Sorry, Oso.

  131. Oso – I’m with you in spirit.
    Our shoulders are yours…

  132. Geeky girl with the latina booty is doing squats in spandex right next to me.

    St. Leon pray for us…

  133. Now she’s doing good mornings. I’m glad I’m wearing baggy sweatpants.

    St Leon pray for us…

  134. Went to the dentist this morning to get a temporary crown for my front 2 teeth (bit down wrong on something a few weeks ago and shattered one of them).

I have REALLY small teeth, so the “tab” that the crown can be glued to is practically nonexistent. The darn thing fell off tonight right before we got in bed.

Guess I will be visiting the dentist tomorrow to get it glued in again.

Either that, or look like even more of a gap-toothed hillbilly than I did before!

  135. Reeeeeally glad I already delivered my hardware and don’t have to drive long distances this week. Worried about Mini-me, Rocketboy, and DIL making it home from MO.

  136. St Leon pray for us…

    May your T ever increase.

  137. I toped off both vihkles tonight just incase.

  138. I already delivered my hardware too. But there may be a slight difference in connotation. Check w yo mama.

  139. Sorry to hear about your Mom, Oso.

  140. Pepe,

I’m in the same boat. I don’t really know what to do. I’ve tried to hedge in a couple areas, but I still wonder if we are going to go the way of the Zimbabwe, or more like Japan. We may also end up with a big crash and stagflation. That’s my current bet, but I don’t know what to do about it. Unlike the 70’s when they start raising interest rates to get inflation under control the debt service on the national debt will eat the whole budget.

  141. So sorry, Oso.

  142. Crazy Bear,
    Sorry, mine is long gone.
It’s hard, but were all gonna get there.
My dad is 99 and has given up, so it will be soon.
I’m 72 and don’t give a shit, so am on the way out.

  143. Deny everything really passionately.
