Down the Rabbit Hole

I always think man, the people on You-tube used to be so creative. Remember when it first started how amazing it was? Yeah…see this video? How exciting is THIS?!?!?! The first back flip on You-tube

The first video I ever sent to Merv.

I’d like to thank lauraw for introducing me to this work of art…I believe it is part of the reason Merv fell madly in love with me……….three years after I showed him the video, but really…who’s counting?

The first cat video on You-tube……and as we all know, the Internet was created for cat and dog videos…..I’m pretty sure all videos uploaded to You-tube in 2005 were filmed with a potato.

Cybergoon squad…….the very first “weird side of You-tube” video.
And last, but not least, the VERY first video uploaded to You-tube by one of the founders enjoying his time at the zoo….my guess is, this guy is probably a rich mofo.

Also, it’s entirely possible I sprained my finger picking categories. I might die. I’ll miss you all.

Agree Mare. It’s going to take a minor miracle to overcome this fraud and the possibility of it working despite evidence that it existed is terrifying to me.

The Dems clearly cheated on a grand scale. I have no faith that anything will be done. If you don’t go along with the rigged election, the left will threaten, and attack you. You are doxxed, and angry mobs show up at your home and work. They threaten and intimidate your spouse and children, they threaten your employer and try to get you fired, and nothing happens to them. Most people are not going to risk their families and livelihood. The Dem establishment won’t protect them, they encourage these terrorists.

When/if it gets to the Supreme court, I think Roberts will find some technicality and use that to weasel out of taking a stand.

It always reminds me of the Untouchables, where Sean Connery says “Everyone knows where the whiskey is, nobody wants to fight Capone.”

Everyone knows the Dems stole the election. They either agree with it, or don’t want angry mobs attacking them. It will take people with conviction and courage to take a stand.

  16. Comment by leoncaruthers on November 19, 2020 8:14 am

That’s my fear too, Pepe. They didn’t need a Stasi to take power in Germany, they built that after they’d taken it. The dems have an army of Karens and battle-ready sex offenders who’ve got 8 months of experience in the streets now, informing on and assaulting their neighbors. They don’t outnumber us, not even close, but if we can’t keep election canvassers safe enough to do their jobs honestly, they’ll fold.

The message being sent is that violence is a legitimate political tool for their side, but not ours, since the police and prosecutors only protect them. I used to be afraid of a civil war. Now I’m afraid we won’t get one, because we’re left with that or eating pets at this point.

  22. Comment by pajama momma on November 19, 2020 9:07 am

Beasn, I am SOOOO freaking mad about the governor newsom deal….like, I never do politics on my wall, especially angry politics. I now have two posts up, one about Newsom not wearing a mask and one about Schumer screaming into a crowd for Biden’s “win”
but the Newsom one pisses me off he’s IN a restaurant (it has slider doors, so they’re calling it open) we can’t eat inside in CA again…he’s NOT wearing a mask, there’s NO social distancing, they’re drinking and very loud….so loud they had to close the sliders (which then makes it completely inside) there was a tooooooooooon of people there, so it was way more than 2 households.
To sum it up, he’s a piece of the shit

  23. Comment by Jay in Ames on November 19, 2020 9:12 am

Question about Newsom: if he wasn’t supposed to be in a restaurant, then how did another diner get a picture? Were they in violation too? Why were they eating at the French Laundry?

If the diner could go out, then Newsom can go out. We don’t have to wear masks at a table. If we dont, then he doesn’t.

  24. Comment by pajama momma on November 19, 2020 9:14 am

Newsom wants us to wear a mask in between bites. The other diner was outside. The French laundry used to have a laundromat in that location, now it’s a restaurant that is an average of $300 per meal. Here’s pics to show you what I mean
    https://www.foxla.com/news/fox-11-obtains-exclusive-photos-of-gov-newsom-at-french-restaurant-allegedly-not-following-covid-19-protocols

  25. Comment by mare on November 19, 2020 9:18 am

Jay, there were 12 people at dinner. No masks. And it was inside.

And not only does the jackass want us to cancel thanksgiving and Christmas but he’s eating at The French Laundry. I would guess that bill was about 10-12 THOUSAND dollars.

So, hey, peasants, do as I say, not as I do.

  26. Comment by pajama momma on November 19, 2020 9:21 am

This is pinned to the top of his twitter account

REMINDER: CA, you are now REQUIRED to wear a mask in public spaces.

We’re seeing too many people with faces uncovered. Wearing a face covering is critical for keeping people safe and healthy, keeping businesses open and getting people back to work.

Do your part. Wear your mask.

The answer to the ‘missing flu’ is obvious to me. I was talking about this at work just last night. By this time last year we had swabbed a bunch of symptomatic patients for flu. We have swabbed ZERO patients for flu this year. It’s all covid, covid, covid. You don’t find what you’re not looking for.

We had a patient a couple weeks ago in isolation. She was symptomatic, but tested neg for covid twice. Everybody shrugged. Nobody swabbed her for flu. I was like, WTFITS? to the charge nurse and said, “There are other illnesses, you know.” But nothing.

COVID is a superset of diseases, you see.

Every respiratory infection is now COVID. That’s how flu deaths went from an average of 50-80k deaths in a normal year down to fewer than 6k this year. We cured the flu this year by changing how we coded it back in February before there was even a shitty test for SARS-COV-2.

  40. Comment by Jay in Ames on November 19, 2020 9:54 am

Mrs Jay had co-workers trying to get allergies treated. They are avoiding it, because all the protocols make them go through a Covid clinic, when it’s allergy medicine and treatment that they need. They can’t even get through the door at the allergy doc.

  41. Comment by Jay in Ames on November 19, 2020 9:58 am

isn’t 50-80k the upper limit for flu deaths? I thought normal was a lower range.

  42. Comment by mare on November 19, 2020 9:59 am

We’ve also lowered the death rates of heart attacks, cancer, diabetes, stroke, and several other diseases that use to kill people until covid killed everyone.

    ——————————
I’ve been mulling this over for awhile now and I think you kind of brought it all together for me. Violence is ok for the left. Always has been, but they’re openly embracing it and making sure we know about it.

The whole civil war thing is hard to imagine so I’ve been thinking about it on a smaller scale. Once you start thinking about real civil war you’re kind of in a super weird place asking questions about who controls the military, who has the keys to the big bombs, etc.

I think the little battles might start pretty soon. Some have already happened with a bit of mace, 20,000,000,000,000 cell phones and various FPOS slapping at each other.

I’m talking more on the order of dozens of dead people. I could see this scenario…the right has some sort of a rally. They bring real security – militia types, and when pantifa starts trouble they herd ’em in and open up. The left won’t be prepared for it. The cops won’t be around.

The right is going to respond at some point and it’ll be really violent. And then the left will and so on until we’re eating dogs like that blue lipped motherfucker.

I was at work and not listening closely but I think this was his take: Supreme Court does not want to be seen as being responsible for Trump being voted in by them. He thought the best strategy would be to find some way for them to invalidate the results for a technical reason, like the voting machines, and throw it to the house where he’d win.

And amazingly, soft spoken Jordan Peterson. But then he’s extensively studied the genocidal left and the ideology. And while his peers were spineless weasels – he expected nothing else from them – he had a huge support from the community at large, when he stood up and said ‘no’ to compelled speech. He saw where that leads. He knows his subject matter very well, and never backs down from his learned position.

Most of the deaths – at least every time I research it – the deaths didn’t actually occur yesterday. They were added to the tally after going through records. Because, as I said (this is fact- its on the michigan.gov site) if you test positive and die of ANY NATURAL cause w/in 30 days – its listed as COvid. so they comb through the records. And then add them to the total.

    Speaking of Richard Rider

    Richard Rider
The SAN DIEGO U-T just published a long article detailing San Diego city “pandemic” budget woes (including declining city revenue). These are problems being experienced by ALL California government. But the article fails to address the OBVIOUS problem. AND the obvious solution.
The biggest single cost in any government budget? LABOR!
What is NOT mentioned as an option in the article? Firing or furloughing unneeded employees.
Months ago, the San Diego mayor announced he was laying off about 500 of the city’s 11,000 city workers. He was quickly bitch slapped into line by the city labor unions. As far as I know, almost NO ONE was cut from the city labor force.
Some — perhaps MOST — city workers perform “essential services.” But thousands don’t.
For example, consider the city libraries. From March until about the end of September, they were CLOSED. Now they offer only “take out” and drop off services at some branches. No public is allowed INSIDE the libraries.
How many city library workers were released? I’m guessing NONE.
All the employees continued to receive full pay and benefits, even though most of them simply remained home (sometimes doing a few hours busy work).
Would that our library were the ONLY case of pandemic featherbedding. It’s not.
I’m not singling out the city library for bad personnel management. It’s just one example of a widespread city policy. Indeed, it’s a policy that MOST California governments follow.
What’s most discouraging is the clueless nature of the U-T reporter. And his editors. No one thought ask questions about layoffs. I don’t know of ANY local media that have looking into this stunning misuse of city taxpayer funds.
Remember this mismanagement when our Democrat city politicians put on their frowny faces to tell us that we need to pay higher taxes “for the children.”

Joke on Twitter about Grosse Pointe Antifa – which – right? SO FUNNY. I mean, privileged children of very rich folks certainly don’t become radicalized liberals, amiright?

    Metro Times:

“The thing is, Antifa of Grosse Pointe is really real. We have proof.

When we attended one of the protests against police brutality in Detroit this summer, a young person taught us how to use a bucket to thwart police smoke bombs. They said they learned this technique from the internet while reading about the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong. At the end of the night, they told us they were going home to their parents’ in Grosse Pointe.

It should come as no surprise that some of the highly educated children of some of the richest people in the world, living next to one of the most famously economically devastated big cities in the world, would become radicalized.”

But the snark continues, because no one on Twitter has to be intellectually consistent, or base their opinions of facts.

  144. Comment by leoncaruthers on November 19, 2020 3:23 pm

Be prepared to document everywhere you’ve lived and every job you’ve had and everyone you’ve had an ongoing relationship with for 10 years, minimum.

Is it S or TS? SCI usually requires a polygraph. Those suck even if you’re a daily communicant.

  145. Comment by leoncaruthers on November 19, 2020 3:26 pm

The process starts with an SF-86 and interviews of you and neighbors and coworkers. S alone can be just a paperwork check. TS and the’ll send a guy in a suit to talk to people who lived near you in Indiana. Eventually. You may end up in limbo while you wait on the granting.

  146. Comment by leoncaruthers on November 19, 2020 3:32 pm

I had an S straight out of college, then it lapsed when I changed jobs, got re-instated a couple of years later, then I got upgraded to a TS/SCI about 13 years ago. Other than the gap year at F*rd, I’ve had it that whole time. One CI polygraph, which I did not enjoy. Lots of quality time in Q-TIP (SF-86 Online) and fun chats about me never having taken out student loans despite what Sallie Mae claimed, and talking about my day trip to London, Ontario for light bulbs about 6 times.

Daughter might not show up because always ‘exposed’ and ‘I want to keep you safe and healthy’ while I tell her dying of a broken heart is a worse way to go and she calls me a drama queen.

As I understand it, nearly everyone that dies of “natural causes” dies of acute respiratory failure and/or pneumonia essentially.

On Pop’s death certificate, they listed his cause of death as ‘Alzheimers’ and ‘pneumonia’. He had heart failure…yes, it made the lungs begin to fill, but the heart failed. He did not have and was never diagnosed with Alzheimers. He was saying wacky things but that was the result of meds and failing heart = poor circulation.

Two crazy things today. Friend works in the local gun store/pawn shop. Limit of one box of ammo per person per day, some calibers available only if you buy the gun. Most ammo $1 a round or more. I was surprised he had anything left to sell.

Co-worker told me a warped story. His oldest son put poppers, those little firecracker bits you throw hard at the ground *pow*, underneath the toilet seat, so when his mom sat down, they went off, hardy de har har. She retaliated by taking the family to Twin Peaks for son’s 16th birthday, had the waitresses sing happy birthday, and had a birthday cake shaped like boobs. With candles stuck in the nipples. Not sure what the younger kids thought. Made me glad that my son blows up pumpkins and stumps, not toilets. Hope Rocketboy is glad he has a mom who acts like an adult.
