MMM: SS 2020 one week warning

One week to go. Pretty sure I’ve already heard from most of the usual suspects, but this will be the last poat-level reminder.

Enjoy your Monday. Pray for our president, our nation, and our posterity.

  1. “Categories” was absent from the werdpuss editor yet again, might try to edit.

  2. This “flu” is just a bit worse.

    ——-

That is absolutely not what the numbers say.

  3. By all accounts, it’s roughly as bad as H1N1.

Anyone remember who was president then?

WHY DID HE LET A QUARTER-MILLION AMERICANS DIE!

  4. Hong Kong Flu in ’68. We did nothing so insane as this. Same absolute number of fatalities in a country with roughly half the population.

My parents literally don’t remember it.

  5. By all accounts…hahahahhaahhaha

Yea, anyone who believes anything that comes out of anywhere anymore is being gaslit.

  6. That’s the thing, even with the stupidly inflated numbers, this is the WORST FLU SINCE… the last one we got from China, that didn’t kill a ton of people, and we just gave “guidance” for that. Because there was no political gain in deprivation of civil rights under color of law.

  7. I think the answer is clear. China must be put in quarantine until they stop eating bats and dogs.

It’s not like they give the rest of the world anything else.

  8. The people who I know who have had it – not as sick as previous flu. VERY mild. But there are a population who are vulnerable. One of my crossfit friends lot her uncle last week (56) to covid. No known comorbidities, at least nothing diagnosed (doesn’t mean he didn’t have something).

I think Covid can be bad for some, but still not be what the media says it is. Still not warrant what we are doing.

  9. Nothing warrants the mandates and shutdowns. Anything as deadly as they claim would have people doing it willingly.

Nothing warrants the mandates and shutdowns. Anything as deadly as they claim would have people doing it willingly.

    ——

    Amen.

  11. I think everyone saw an opportunity. The politicians and media (same thing) saw it right away. Crush the economy and hand Trump a Hurricane Katrina then call him a jerk for not stopping it.

The medical people just love that they’re in the spotlight. Can’t blame them forte.

If the country were being marauded by roving bands of tigers, the tiger king would be on tv 24/7 but he’d still be crazy. And he’d love it! He’d love the death and destruction and attention.

A medical degree doesn’t exactly make someone proficient in all things, it just makes them a doctor. Same thing for the tiger king. He’s an expert on tigers, not public policy. But tiger kings gotta tiger king just like doctors gotta doctor.

  12. ^ yes. If it were ebola, you wouldn’t have to tell people to stay in their homes.

Saturday’s michigan death toll was 65 or something. 35 of those were from an audit. So … 65 people did NOT die. It was 30. Most of them over 80.

  13. I have my last shift of work tonight. Supposedly for 3 weeks, but that last time it was for 2 weeks and that ended up being 3 months. Politician speak that means… 4 months? Someone check my math.

  14. I’m trying to talk my family into meeting in my barn next April from grandma’s 100th. Not because it’s a good idea, but because no venue will take the reservation for more than 10 people.

For April, 2021, a full 4 months after the vaccine and a full 12 after this bullshit started. For the 100th birthday of a woman who’s only got her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren (she’ll have the 2nd one by then) to look forward to. If her faith weren’t keeping her going, I’m pretty sure she’d be gone already.

  15. I STILL don’t know anyone who has had it and I’ve traveled across the country 3 times.

And I haven’t even heard of anyone I know getting it and recovering

I have only heard of a friend of a friend type deal.

  16. How is it that the death toll is the highest among the 80+ set but that is longer than an American’s average life expectancy?

    Head scratcher.

  17. Fun fact: most people die of pneumonia. We call it “old age” but the fatal symptom is usually pneumonia.

Even funner fact: SARS-COV-2 “kills” by pneumonia.

People older than the average life expectancy. Tested with a ct of 40+, if they were tested at all.

  18. Did Alton Brown blow his twitter following up recently?

  19. No idea. I made the mistake of watching 30 seconds of one of his livestreams right after the election and he lamented that he was “all alone” politically because he was a gun owner in favor of gun control.

That was a while ago now. I’m not sure I care what happens now that he’s outed himself as IYI.

  20. Comment by mare on November 16, 2020 6:59 am
They are gaslighting us so hard right now. Putting Biden on covers of magazines, telling us if we think Trump won it’s a crazy conspiracy. This is 100% an attempt to steal an election.

It’s sick and we’re fooked if we let it happen.

    ======

What are you going to do to prevent it? Posts on the interwebs? Angry letters to the local newspaper or your senator and congressman? Going to a mass protest where the police will stand idly by while you are attacked by lefties? Launch congressional investigations into China collusion with Biden? Organize secret death squads to start killing commies?

    What can we really do?

  21. Do we all have guns? Yes, we do. Do we want more guns? Yes, we do.

That being said I think gun control should be at the top of the list in a Biden administration.

  22. My grandma died of the flu years ago. So yea – flu/pneumonia kills most of our elderly people Dementia patients, people who break their hips, etc.

And for a long time I didn’t know anyone who actually had covid. The last two months, in lapeer, that changed. Its all around me, to be honest. I just don’t want to “quarantine” because I was around someone. 14 days out of the gym.

Despite the fact that know I’ve known a TON of people who have had it, none of them have gotten very sick. My friend Dana’s mother had a harder time with it – she was sick with lingering shit for a few weeks. Most of them had a fever for two days, then felt fine.

  23. It’s def in my mom and dad’s smallish town. But so what?

It’s running through the country and will continue to do so, until it doesn’t.

  24. *subscribes to pepe’s newsletter*

  25. I wrote to my MI house member using his website form. I should write again.

  26. Yea, the only concern I have is I don’t want to not be able to go to the gym for X days/clear test. Stupid.

  27. based on the speed with which the progs have commandeered society i’m actually wondering wether we’ll see reeducation camps in 18 months post-Demento’s inauguration or 24 months when Heels Up harris takes the helm.

    no hyperbole

this is a train wreck in progress

  28. They won’t bother with camps.

They’ll keep us at home (STAYHOMESTAYSAFE) and control what we’re allowed to say to each other online, creating the illusion of “unity” and eliminating any competition to the narrative.

    Then people will just disappear.

  29. A gun isn’t some kind of magical talisman. Its value is in its use. If it isn’t going to be used, it’s meaningless.

And I am not convinced all these guns will see use.

And I’m afraid that seals our fate.

Honestly, I’m just kinda afraid at this stage.

  30. Did Alton Brown blow his twitter following up recently?

I believe he called himself a Republican, then had to retract. You can imagine how that went.

Now I read he identified as a Republican that voted for Biden, and made Holocaust remarks flippantly, probably trying to be funny.

    https://www.mashed.com/277134/why-alton-brown-deleted-his-post-election-twitter-meltdown/

  31. My bosses daughter just tested positive. I know someone in a nursing home with demetia, tested positive and has been taken to the hospital. Lots of positives in hometown, turkey day is in danger, mom is worried. Might just stay away, hoping for the Buyden cure (read: ignore it after political effect has worn off) and going back for Christmas.

  32. What can we really do?

Nothing. Especially since our side won’t stand up and fight. The one guy who did is sidelined now, and everybody else is clutching their pearls.

Looking at you, Ted Cruz. Guess my primary hopes on you were unfounded.

  33. Its value is in its use. If it isn’t going to be used, it’s meaningless.

I think it’s presence is more valuable. But for that to take effect, someone has to know there is a possibility it is there. Gun Control policies remove that worry, and instills confidence in the wrong people. It’s a wonder that most police don’t figure that out, when they are ranting about more gun control making their life easier. The exact opposite is actually true.

  34. Wait…what happens in a week?

Also, you guys see the video I posted of the mayor in the neighboring city?
said he’s not going to enforce lockdowns and “if you don’t like a store being open, don’t go to that store”
    what…a…badass

  35. I like that mayor, PJ

  36. dead kinda early

  37. I’m hunting for something to do in the backlog.

Looking thin. They should probably lay me off.

  38. heh, we have a Honey-Do list a mile long, and no authorization to work on any of it.

  39. Picture is worth a thousand words

Hope you enjoy your millions, Murdoch family. “We Did It!”, Kathryn Murdoch, Nov 3.

  40. I think the majority of people want to pretend it will all go away if we just do X or Y.

For months I tried to pretend it wasn’t real and didn’t deserve a response.

But now? It doesn’t matter that it’s not real. We have to something because people want something done….again.

Or, to be more clear, unhappy women want something done and their pussy husbands, if they have one, agree with them. If they don’t have one, they’re basically just a community of women, who want something done, metastasizing across popular culture.

  41. Other random thought very early this morning.

I have never voted once in my life where the polling place wasn’t run by an older black woman.

They are the hardest of hard core partisans. You could have white, male, evangelical preachers at every polling place and it would be more ideologically diverse.

    That needs to end.

  42. Here’s something we could do:

Hand out placebo vaccines, tell everyone it’s fine. 95% effective.

Still got it? 1/20, sorry. Here’s some HCQ.

Or we could put their husbands on TRT so they’d man the fuck up.

  43. Yeah, Rubin went full on retard

  44. I don’t get the picture is worth 1000 words thing.

  45. All of them Dems or Never-Trumpers, MJ

  46. Oh. Gotcha.

That’s been pretty standard fare for awhile, right? I used to always watch the panel analysis on FNS but quite a few years ago. Who cares what Mara Liaison or Jonah Goldberg think?

  47. No testosterone in the picture at all.

Bill O’Reilly was a baller alpha compared to Wallace.

So was the guy who played Mini-Me in Austin Powers. RIP.

  48. It used to be reversed, MJ. More GOP than Dem, because Dems were repped on every other channel. Now Faux News is the same as CNNLOL, and MSDNC

  49. The medical people just love that they’re in the spotlight. Can’t blame them
    ————
I just flipped through my UMass Medical alumni magazine yesterday and it was all Covid and BLM adoration. The photo that made me feel ill was an aerial shot of hundreds of socially distanced students, doctors and hospital staff taking a knee for George Floyd on the Quad.

Medicine, particularly academic medicine, is no different than a college faculty in terms of political preferences. Most of the doctors who become conservative do so after encountering the real world post-residency.

  50. Here’s a picture worth 1,000 words for ya

  51. Donna Brazile on fox says it all.

  52. The writing was on the wall as soon as the murdoch kids started making decisions.

  53. Even before that, look at who populated Fox’s programming.

It was always a scam. I feel like a chump it took me so long to figure it out.

  54. Conservatives need to stop allowing leftists to define them as the political fringe. We’re half of the country. Half.

    Jeez.

  55. Importantly, the values of conservatism and traditionalism are the only ones that have ever built or maintained a civilization.

“Progress” has a track record of universal failure, political murder, and economic collapse.

  56. When was the last stolen election? 1960?

  57. I never watched them. I thought O’Reilly was a fucking blowhard whistle dick. Hannity was about as listenable as fingernails on a chalkboard – always interrupting guests. Megan Kelly needed something rammed up her jacksie. Laura Ingraham was a whiny cunt.

The only one I like is Tucker Carlson, and I catch him on YouLube.

  58. When was the last stolen election? 1960?

    That we know of.

  59. Yep, hotspur has summed up my thoughts on Fox

  60. Megan Kelly needed something rammed up her jacksie

    I volunteer.

  61. whistle dick and jacksie are my few fav words

  62. When you’re married to a Scot it expands your vocabulary.

  63. Put up or shut up time for parents. Thanksgiving is at their place this year, and they have 5+ households coming.

Whitmer’s bullshit order says no more than 3. I hope a neighbor calls the cops. I can’t do it without breaking a commandment, but my parents need a wakeup call.

  64. Why do you want the cops called on your parents?

  65. You need to stop holding back Hotspur.

  66. Because my dad yelled at me when I said masking college football players was stupid. He’s completely wrapped around the axle on WuFlu and politics in general. He needs some “good and hard” from the shit he voted for.

  67. Oh. So, he supports all the shit but he isn’t following it personally?

  68. We’ll see. They’ll either cancel, tell someone to stay home, or break the “law”.

I’m betting on the latter, which makes him a hypocrite, but that’s what I’ve come to expect from a man I once respected.

  69. I wonder if we’re headed back to the 1970s type of culture. Lots of crime and grit. Graffiti everywhere, garbage in the streets.

    That would be awful.

  70. Sorry, Dad. No can do. Governor’s orders.

    Don’t choke on the wishbone.

  71. It has made me extremely appreciative of my Trump-supporting, truck-driving MiL.

  72. Sorry, Dad. No can do. Governor’s orders.

Oh, I’ll happily violate them. I’m not a hypocrite or a coward. Nor would I deny my daughter her grandparents or other family.

  73. All of the mask and social distancing people are hypocrites.

It’s a weird thing. They want the mandates and to be controlled but they don’t actually do it.

I guess it’s like supporting higher taxes and then offshoring your money to Cyprus or whatever.

  74. So this is weird. I’m watching the original Death Wish.

In the first 10 mins I’ve seen Charles Bronson in a speedo. One of the guys at his place of work call him a bleeding heart liberal and that all criminals should be put in concentration camps (agree), and now Jeff Goldblum is one of the street thugs that kills his wife.

Jeff Goldblum is the least scary person ever.

  75. Jeff Goldblum: Hold stills mother and no one gets hurt.

    Mother: What do you want?

JG: Don’t jive, mother and no one gets hurt.

This is better than shakespeare and Jeff Goldblum is a national treasure.

  76. Jeff Goldblum just delivered a flying pimp hand back slap to ‘mother’.

    LOL

  77. Mini-me tested positive for covid. Like Carin said, two days of fever, also some fatigue, lost sense of smell. I was ready to bring her home, but she put me on standby and expects to finish her classes before coming home for Thanksgiving.

  78. Well that took a turn for the worse.

  79. I know I’ll be exposing my kids to mentally ill people, but she needs to learn.

  80. College and high school here are 100% remote until the eschaton is immanentized.

  81. I was going to say that let’s not fire all 2 million gov’t employees, just everyone in the senior executive service, but now I’m ready to take one for the team, fire everybody.

Procurement person last week: Fill these forms out, send them to me for review before officially submitting them.

Same procurement person today: What are you sending me these for, I don’t know anything about this.

  82. Let’s wreck the economy though while everyone gets covid anyway so we can pretend we’re doing something.

  83. The MI economy must be wrecked by WuFlu so there can be a bailout to paper over the destruction Whitmer’s caused and her budget failures after she didn’t get to tax the shit out of our gas to not fix the roads.

  84. I guess it’s like supporting higher taxes and then offshoring your money to Cyprus or whatever.

YOU NEED TO PAY A LIVING WAGE!

WHY IS A BURGER $15 DOLLARS?

  85. When was the last stolen election? 1960?

Remember 2012? Romney kicked Barry’s ass in a debate, before Candy rescued Barry? Economy in the shitter? 9/11 part Deux happened, dead american blood on the administration’s hand? And the Dems won? Remember how we felt, no way this could happen?

I submit that 2012 was stolen too. Even if Romney was a shitty candidate, he was still better than Barry.

  86. Romy’s mini is a badass. Nah man, I’m good. Gotta finish school.

I’m having 6 different households over for Thanksgiving. I wish it could be more.

  87. PJ the Super Spreader ^^

  88. Romney did well in debate 1 to get the donations and make it look like he was in it. He tanked after that because he had done his job and was coasting to the loss he’d been planning anyhow.

  89. It has made me extremely appreciative of my Trump-supporting, truck-driving MiL.
    ————-
Any more on the truckers’ strike? 11/29 is the day supposedly. It’s a Sunday but a lot of people will be on the road returning from illegal gatherings. Not that they’re planning a rolling blockade but rather a “not going any where so suck it” kind of strike.

  90. Leon, did you add me to the christmas exchange list?

  91. Paula is working 5 days Thanksgiving week from Wednesday right through to Sunday. We’re eating turkey this weekend and I’ll be getting Chinese food with Ben on thanksgiving I guess.

  92. Here’s your eyewitnesses, Ted, Chuck Grassley, Lindsay.

    https://trendingpolitics.com/detroit-dominion-it-worker-describes-exactly-how-poll-workers-inflated-biden-vote-tallies-video/

    Do something with it, assholes.

  93. popular vote totals? Running this scam in CA has resulted in so many GOP votes switching there, and resulting in those lopsided D victories.

The popular vote lead is a myth.

  94. Daily beast says this is debunked, and thrown out by MI judge Kenny: https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-election-challenges-hamstrung-by-hapless-witnesses

  95. Instead of alleging voter fraud, Kenny said, many of the accusations made by witnesses in fact described routine vote-counting procedures. Had the Republican challengers only attended an optional walk-through training of the site, according to Kenny, they would not have been so alarmed.

  96. Leon, did you add me to the christmas exchange list?

I did. I have your contact info on file.

  97. Any more on the truckers’ strike? 11/29 is the day supposedly.

That was the last I heard of it. Scott (the YT trucking guy) quit his job already and is taking some time off no matter what at this point, so he’s doing it, but it’s not like he’s sitting still that day, he’s not working at all.

  98. Figured. Just wanted to double check.

  99. wait
I missed the Christmas exchange post
YOU DICKS DID THIS ON PURPOSE!!!!!!!!!!

  100. You didn’t miss anything. You can still get in. We have a week left. Send your info to Leon.

  101. ugh. Thanks for solving my problem
    Now I can’t complain. Lame

  102. I can’t handle any more negativity in my life right now.

  103. just a little bit?
    wee?
    No?
what if it’s just super small…like reeeeeeeeeeeeeally itty bitty?

  104. Nope. My mom keeps falling and my nephew has to go over and pick her up. Three days in a row. Need a solution to that. And, Right now the following things in my house are not working: The water heater, the dishwasher, the water softener (I can fix the dishwasher though). I just found out I’m out of work until who the fuck knows when. I’m going to need you guys to be fucking unicorns of happiness and funnah.

  105. Not to mention all of … THIS (waves arms around) going on.

    shit sucks.

I’m going to need you monkeys to dance.

  106. And my son’s ex has started “liking” my facebook posts. Ugh.

  107. I like watching you wave your arms….and a little envious. There’s no like super wave arm flab
Actually, I might even hate you a little bit for it

  108. And my son’s ex has started “liking” my facebook posts. Ugh

    ewwwwwwwwww

  109. I’m this close. I could use my anger and frustration to … rid myself of some troublesome people.

  110. Want me to check the dark web and see if there’s already a contract?

May as well kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

  111. When did the posting of veiny, sweaty women and tuckers stop?

  112. Just leave her on the floor until she figures out how to get up on her own. She has to learn.

  113. A while back when I was trying to avoid pr0n triggers, MrS.

Helped for a little while, plus I got to share some cool mushrooms and megaliths. I still do some lycra-clad throwbacks here and there.

Now I’ve got Secret Santa duty, so we had two pre-empt weeks.

  114. Calm down CARin.

  115. Maaaannnnn…this new reality sucks!

((Juts out lower lip)) ((Kicks rocks)) ((Pouts))

  116. Don’t worry everyone. I paused Death Wish while I did other shit.

I’ll pick up the live bloggin’ as soon as I can.

  117. OMG the govt job was to unfuck the VA.

    LOL

I’m going to the next interviews later in the week.

  118. I need to find a walker now.

  119. Maaaannnnn…this new reality sucks!

Tumblrpocalpyse also killed a lot of my sources.

  120. I’m thinking just one of the basic walkers? The fancy ones with the seat and stuff wouldn’t be as easy to use just in her house.

I need help here. She has a small houses, with more “tight” spaces.

  121. Jeff Goldblum is the least scary person ever.

Gonna have to disagree with you here, I find him to be terrifying at a visceral level.

  122. 5 words for you here CARin:

    John. Deer. Gator.

  123. I’m going to need you guys to be fucking unicorns of happiness and funnah.

holy crap carin, that is quite the pile.
I’m guessing MCPOs RASCAL is too big for her house?

  124. After working in AZ, the wild wild west, our NY native returns to find a present in his luggage from the employer. It’s a gun.

Just tucked right there in the luggage all wrapped up. A gun.

OMG please lets do the 70s again.

  125. First bad guy down. Charles Bronson does not have a taste for killing yet. He’s very distraught. Just barfed.

  126. NY looks cold. Every shot is in the bitter cold and blowing snow.

Must have been awful to film in that.

  127. Dishwasher is fixed. Still no hot water.

And did I mention our sink blew up on Thursday? Got fixed on friday, but its just been on think after another.

  128. 3 more down. 2 black, 1 cracker. Or possibly a light skinned black dude.

I’m gonna count him as white. So far CB is an equal opportunity killer for a total of 2 honkey 2 coffee.

Wait. Considering ‘Merica is only 13% black he’s disproportionately killing black guys so he’s a racist. No chicks killed. He’s a sexist too.

Didn’t really phase him this time. He actually shot the white possibly black guy to be counted as white in the back.

  129. Car in, look for the walkers that are a tricycle style. They work best for tight spaced homes.

  130. You guys telling a story?
Is there gonna be lesbians making out shortly?

  131. John. Deer. Gator.

no more gators. Had enough from living in Jacksonville….PASS

  132. The nuns have been recurring in the movie. Right before Jeff Goldblum killed the wife there were nuns walking around. Now the daughter is living in a convent with nuns because she’s fucked in the head from the attack.

I think this passes for artsy fartsy shit. Or symbolism or something.

    Dunno, seems ham handed.

  133. Death Wish was filmed at basically the peak population for US nuns, too, so they were a more common sight in most big cities outside of Utah.

  134. Try a nursing home. When people croak from Covid, there must be some system to recycle walkers, canes, oxygen concentrators, and such.

  135. I can’t handle any more negativity in my life right now.

I understand, Carin. I could post Mr. RFH’s daily dad jokes, but that might not help.

  136. Way to go Army Pharmacy! 1 prescription out of 5 after an hour’s wait.
I laugh at those advocating government-run healthcare!

He’ll stop at nothing to avoid them.

  150. Is it a thing to be left-eye but right-hand dominant?

    Merv is

  151. Ugh. Well, at least I know I’m not the only left-right freakazoid.

    Here’s something we could do:
Hand out placebo vaccines, tell everyone it’s fine. 95% effective.
Still got it? 1/20, sorry. Here’s some HCQ.

You mean like the “vaccine” that the WP was talking about today, with a 95% “success” rate?

Can’t let that one be used until Trump is out of office, lest he get credit for it.

Never mind that 98% of people who get COVID won’t die from it.

BTW, what is the percentage of people who get the flu, despite getting a flu vaccine? The flu is a type of coronavirus, right?

  153. OMG the govt job was to unfuck the VA.

    LOL

That is one of those positions where they hire you as a savior but instead end up firing you as a scapegoat for all the shit that was wrong before you ever got there.

  154. Dog had a large mass removed on Friday; haven’t gotten results yet, but in reading up on the breed, A LOT of them get cancer in later years. Average lifespan for Great Pyrenees is 10-11 years. She is 12.

Guess we’re going to have to start preparing ourselves for the worst.

    2020 continues to suck.

  155. The flu isn’t a coronavirus, it’s a influenza virus (I think it’s the same shape but attacks really different sites from coronavirus)

The problem with the flu vaccine is that it’s animal reservoirs are HUGE (i.e. every domestic pig, chicken and duck in China), and trying to predict which of the strains is going to be the dominant one is akin to shooting craps and betting on “Don’t Pass”. A 50% effective rate for the flu is looked at as good. Seventy-five percent effective is a home run as far as that goes.

The biggest problem is going to be the distribution of the vaccine, especially if the local governments start interfering with it in the name of “fairness” or some shit like that

  156. Why are so many of these Antifa idiots pedos?

  157. When Dan was out of work in 2008, he was a poll worker. City Clerk sent him to the South Valley. No GOP poll judges. Judges would “Help” illegals fill out their ballots. Other poll workers told Dan that the poll workers couldn’t object, only the judges. Romney won in 2012. BHO knew the fraud was in play. Didn’t even need “Walking around money”. Philly is Chinatown, Jake.

  158. MJ, we laughed our way through the Bruce Willis Death Wish. Almost as funny as the original.

  159. Why would distribution be a problem? Other than old people, who would want it?

  161. I’m a cross eye dominant shooter. Handgun with right and long gun left. Makes eye pro mandatory on the AR. One benefit is im much stronger left hand pistol than most shooting non dominant hand. I can also switch shoulders with long gun making cornering easier.

Fuck that vaccine. Given the state of affairs, I’ll pass. Given my work environment, if I haven’t already had / been exposed to this critter I would be very surprised.

  162. Seen on Facedouche:

My Chinese waiter thinks all white people look alike and gave my food to the wrong customer.

Wait. Never mind. That wasn’t my waiter……

  163. Mare, the Reset where proof of vaccine is required to leave your home.

  164. Pepe, I saw a post on Twitter where someone asked a BLM what kind of white person? Irish, German, Slav, Swede, Norwegian…not quote, but gist of comment.

  165. Pepe, wouldn’t admit this out loud but……
If I didn’t have any Christian ethics and principles and standards and shit…..

I’d fly to Vegas and nail a long thin Chinese hook. They intrigue me.

  166. Southwest agent tells guy he can’t board plane with a bandana. Intercom voice says repeatedly that face covering must cover mouth and nose. That’s it. No policy beyond that. Nothing about gaiters or bandanas. Disney requires at least 2 levels of mask. Disney is pretty specific. Southwest is not. Young guy tells agent he can’t wear traditional masks. Agent persists. I notice the guy has multiple scarring on one ear. 2nd ear has no cartilage. Just hanging skin. Agent started to backtrack. Offered the kid a mask to hold over the bandana. “Let’s work this out”. I forgot to put my seatbelt on twice. I noticed before Flight Attendants. They were too busy checking masks. $20

  167. The flu isn’t a coronavirus, it’s a influenza virus

Most of what we call “flu” isn’t influenza at all. It’s norovirus or rhinovirus or standard-issue food poisoning (“stomach flu”).

Is it a thing to be left-eye but right-hand dominant?

Yo. I have to force myself to aim my crossbow with my right eye because I don’t dare shoot it left-handed. Pistol I can shoot left handed and I’m decent, rifle I have to line up on my right shoulder.

  168. Moving tens of of millions of anything is a massive problem, especially as there is a security aspect to it as well. And government exists to fuck anything up that might run smoothly without their help

  169. Heard Biden on radio news when I was on my meat run, so he hasn’t yet stroked out. He was using WuFlu as his trojan horse to demand he start getting “transition briefings”.

This is the greatest scam in the history of scams.

  170. Having dealt with norovirus, and the flu, I can tell you norovirus is NOT like the flu. Norovirus is about as contagious as a virus can get, which is why it scares epidemiologists and public health types even if it isn’t regularly deadly. Norovirus and rotavirus are worlds of difference from the flu

Food poisoning is usually salmonella, E.coli or some other bacteria in cause

  171. I don’t have a dominant eye. I shoot right handed. My left hand is pretty much just for show.

  172. My point is that most people just call it “the flu” when the mean “bad respiratory infection and/or stomach upset with a fever”. And most people who get sick from one thing are carrying other infections that may or may not be the cause of their symptoms at any given time.

Stress and loss of hope and connectedness are lethal in their own right, but they aren’t on the Biden/Harris ticket, only COVID-19 is there! And it’s everywhere! Just as infectious, just as lethal as it was when it escaped into the wild over a year ago, unlike every other documented virus in history! In fact, it may be MORE dangerous now than when it first hit our shores (from Italy, of course, not China).

  173. Killed another one.

  174. Even though we’re on the deep clean list, we can’t be closed. Essential. I was really looking forward to another 14 paid vacay.

  175. I close my eyes to shoot. Can’t see shit. I need an AR/AK. Pray and spray.

  176. had norovirus, that shit is very contagious. got it from a very clean restaurant.

  177. I worked at TACOM when it was going around there. Something like 30-40% were out for a couple of months. Never got it.

  178. Oso, head up to Las Alamos and pick up a nuke. Tell em I sent you and they’ll throw in a ufo for free.

  179. My friends that are testing positive, are feeling guilty. They did everything right. Getting shamed by other friends on social media. In person, I mock them about masks. On social media, I let them hang by the mask Nazis.

  180. Ask for Trent. He’s one of my homeboys.

  181. Pendejo, I’m not Chinese. The lab was sold to Chynah by Billy Jeff and Gov FatAss in the 90’s when he was Energy Sec giving the Lewinsky a job. Epstein had free rein in NM.

  182. Something gave me a pretty severe allergy attack tonight, could not stop sneezing. Beer, tequila, shrimp, fried grits, corn chips, guacamole, white queso. I don’t want to know which it was.

  183. Probable cilantro.

    Fucking cilantro.

  184. Kill ratio has increased from 50-50 to 66-33.

2 more cold vanilla puddings. And on the subway no less, shot right through his newspaper.

For some reason, a guy on the subway platform was carrying a huge model sailboat. Again, I think this is some sort of symbolism.

  185. MJ, we laughed our way through the Bruce Willis Death Wish. Almost as funny as the original.
    ——————–
I saw it a few months ago. Probably a year ago, come to think of it.

The break fluid scene was pretty impressive. I grew up very near Bruce Willis’ house, which was fun to see.

  186. The last stolen election was 2012.

  187. Pupster, it was probably a combination of all those things. Yuck. Hope you have matches in the bathroom

  188. CU lan TROW

  189. Hong Kong Flu in ’68. We did nothing so insane as this. Same absolute number of fatalities in a country with roughly half the population.

My parents literally don’t remember it.

I remember it because I remember being sick as a dog when I was five-ish. Fever for a couple of days, that turned into coughing up green shit. Turned into bronchitis for weeks.

  190. A hooker just picked booger sugar out of her nose at a diner.

OMG YES. We need the 70s.

  191. Two shadows just chased CB out of a diner. I don’t think this will end well for them. We’re gonna be back to 50-50 in a few mins.

  192. CB has been stabbed. I repeat. Stabbed!

One afro picked out, one still hobbling around.

  193. Our farm is now officially sold and so is MIL’s acreage (which should take care of her monthly bills for a couple of years) .

It’s very bittersweet and was kind of super fast, not much time to think on it. Met the new owners and I’m happy for them being able to live next to their daughter’s little family.

MIL’s needed to sell quick before….you know….But ours? Kinda wish we could have held on to it.

  194. MJ, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

  195. Hope the new owners don’t find any of the bodies you buried out there, Beasn.

  196. Pretty sure Aunt Esther from Sanford and Son just made an appearance. She drove off two muggers with a hat pin.

  197. Gorilla cookies!

  198. MJ, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

I’m watching the original Death Wish in 10-15 chunks and telling everyone about it because it’s totally fascinating.

It’s on Prime Video. You should def watch it. Charles Bronson is amazing.

  199. Hope the new owners don’t find any of the bodies you buried out there, Beasn.

    SHHHshshshsh shush yourself.

Pssst, sometimes you don’t have to bury bodies out in the middle of nowhere or near a body of water. *cough*

  200. Down the two mile road we lived, we had 6 neighbors.

  201. Oh…Death Wish. We don’t do Prime.

  202. Pupster, there was a Chinese restaurant near an old job that would kill me. Just the smell of their food would make me sneeze my head off.

  203. I don’t know why that link starts at the middle of the article. Scroll to top.

  204. Gorilla cookies! I loved Aunt Esther. My dad had Redd Fox vinyl.

  205. Friend of ours was like, why the hell are you spending MIL’s money on her memory care home? He’s thinking we should have made her destitute so Medicare would take over paying her care…like his parents are trying to do in order to pass all their money/property to the kids. Put everything in the kid’s names and then if the time comes BAM, the state becomes carer….their estate has been passed on.

Problem is, the state can look back where the money went and go after it. And the problem with the destitute elderly is that the state will place you where the state has beds…which could be hours away from the closest family and it’s usually not a nice place.

I don’t get that kind of thinking. He’s a wealthy guy, too. Can anyone guess his occupation?

  206. The tax-advice book recommended something similar using limited partnerships to transfer assets rather than an estate or trust. Not to make the state pay for your care, but to protect assets from taxation at time of death or from lawsuits.

  207. Lawyer.

  208. Beasn, lawyer. Maybe teacher.

  209. Beasn, my in-laws saved and saved to travel. Cancer kicked their ass. Why wouldn’t we use their savings for her care? We could’ve played the “State” game and placed her in a substandard community, but why? Looking at SIL.

  210. My mom is headed to Memory Care. Sis and I are selling her house. I had to get her “important papers”, which was a file cabinet full of 40-50 year old staff directories of the schools she worked at and check registers from banks and S&L’s that no longer exist.

    I need a vacation.

Won’t get one, but I need one. I get to spend all Thanksgiving and Christmas writing curriculum for my students to ignore.

  211. I getcha now Leon.

    ((Makes finger gun motions))

  212. In nerd news, the Dragon has docked with ISS, hatch won’t open for another hour or so. There’s a baby Yoda floating through the cabin. Mr. RFH and I are trying to figure out what all is on the monitors.

Looking at the ISS photo reminds me of when one of my co-workers ended his presentation with “This space station brought to you by the letter H”.

  213. Is it a thing to be left-eye but right-hand dominant?

I am. I think its actually common.

  214. Last night of work for a while.

Went out for a drink. Last drink “out” in a while.

    fuckers.

  215. The sacred ‘face diaper’.
    https://www.theblaze.com/op-ed/horowitz-pro-mask-study-withdrawn-after-virus-spread-in-counties-analyzed-by-researchers

    Interesting.
I liked the USMC study, too…

  216. Yes, the guy above is a lawyer. Was made partner a few years ago. Worked pre-covid like a maniac. When he wasn’t working, he’d go hunting. Spent a ton of money sending his kids to art school. Can’t figure out why they turned out so anti-American, pro-abortion.

  217. Think Mr. B said that the state will look back 5 years for assets, maybe more, if the old person falls into their care.

I wonder what happened to Protein Wisdom’s situation. Few years back, his deadbeat brother cleaned his mom out and put her in a crap home. Money went ‘poof’. Jeff stepped in to help mom or put her in a better situation and he went after the brother – legally.

  218. Design efficient robots, please.
