  1. Another stiff round of competition

  2. 74% says Trump won the debate. Hahahahaha

Brit Hume, Juan Williams and Hotspur’s old man farts, what do they have in common?

  3. Lauren is so adorable and fun and bouncy. I think she is the opposite of the 2020 vibe, so I’m voting for her to represent our interests at the International Miss Hooters contest.

  4. I’ve got it tees up to watch this morning after Paula leaves for work. Based on the comments I read here it sounds like another left wing assault on (insert name of any GOP candidate here). I’m hoping that the debate commission gets deep sixed in Trump’s second term

  5. tees = teed

  6. I’m leaning towards her too Mare. No votes yet.

  7. hahahahaah, I picked her but forgot to push “vote.”

*thinks about my Presidential ballot…oh shit.*

  8. Biden keeps saying “New England Medical Journal”.

You mean New England Journal of Medicine?

  9. “I can’t lock myself in a basement like he does. He’s obviously made a lot of money somewhere.”

  14. I guess the Biden “team” was trying to appeal to the really old folks by going with the Malarkey Tour.

    Biden’s Team is awful.

  15. “Who built the cages Joe?”

  16. Twitter is at it again. President Trump’s tweet of Biden’s fracking ban promises was at 220K likes when I went to bed, 130K likes this morning.

  17. The optics last night for BIden were horrible. He doesn’t even look in command of himself.

We’ve been subjected to it for 4 years, so it’s hard to fully process how utterly absurd and unhinged it is that it’s acceptable in the face of a difficult question or uncomfortable evidence for US politicians to just start babbling incoherently to blame Russia and Putin for it.

  19. Laptop From Hell!

  20. I had to laugh at Biden accusing Trump of shipping jobs overseas. No, that was Barry, Joe.

  21. I also laughed at Biden throwing JEF under the bus.

  22. I think they should have focus grouped “Bidencare” first. ba haaaa haaaa haaaa

    Roamy as well!

  24. I finished watching the debate. I did a few rewinds when my mind wandered. My verdict is FOUR MORE YEARS

  25. Scenes from Jay’s kitchen

    Accurate. I love smushy butt!

  26. Also I see that we have Russian interference in our voting here at H2 also. this is bullshit. LAUREN! LAUREN! LAUREN!

  27. I got no money from Russia. Joe, you got 3.5 million.

Would have been great if he had a receipt to hold up.

  28. I just want to reiterate something from last night, for everyone who thinks I watch Fox News because they lean so far to the right:

    FUCK YOU CHRIS WALLACE!

    FUCK YOU BRIT HUME!

I’d say fuck you Juan Williams, but that’s like clubbing a baby seal.

  29. Here I thought the moderator wasn’t so bad last night, mainly because she was so much better than Chris Wallace (low bar), but the interrupt ratio was as you’d expect.

  30. These are the days it’s fun to read twitter. And I haven’t even got to Schlichter yet.

  31. Fox is not right leaning anymore. They have Tucker and Ingrahm that’s it.

If you have Brazil, Williams, Wallace, etc., then you’re a garbage channel.

  32. Oh Christ, here we go again.

  33. Shut up Hotspur and take your metamucil. Who gives a shit about fox?

  34. JJ Sefton’s news roundup every morning is exceptional.

  35. And I finally got to Schlichter, not disappointed:

So am I the only one who doesn’t think Joe Biden is getting laid tonight?

  36. Ok, what’s going on with Carin’s boy and the military thing? life got stupid crazy busy yesterday and I didn’t get to check in

  37. I think he’s writing computer programs for seal hunting, if I read everything correctly.

  38. I laughed at “the Colonel Klinks of Conservatism”.

  39. I think he’s writing computer programs for seal hunting, if I read everything correctly.

Oooh he’s gonna learn to code seal…this is an up and coming trend and will get him out of the coal mines

  40. C’mon.

  41. Yay! I get to go play in the lab today. I’m going to try to get a flu shot and find a Thanksgiving turkey, too. Y’all have a good day.

  42. Yay! I get to go play in the lab today. I’m going to try to get a flu shot and find a Thanksgiving turkey, too.

Is all of that available in the lab?
    someone hold me, I’m scared

  43. Ok, what’s going on with Carin’s boy and the military thing? life got stupid crazy busy yesterday and I didn’t get to check in

Cryptologic technician, which is a good option and will get him a clearance that will be valuable once he gets out. He’ll also have a slot in SEAL training so he’ll get a chance to learn to do fun high-speed stuff, if he doesn’t wash out.

  44. Well, current temp solution to transport is…being lent a spare vehicle by my gracious hosts. Fortunately a more permanent answer is in the works, so things are in a positive direction right now.

Still no clue about Thanksgiving, but that seems to be a recurring concern nationwide right now, so I don’t feel quite so bad. Stupid bastards better not try to cancel Christmas, though, or they’ll all be strung up by New Year’s.

  45. Yay! I get to go play in the lab today. I’m going to try to get a flu shot and find a Thanksgiving turkey, too.

  46. Cryptologic technician

Enlisted Sailors in the Navy Cryptology community analyze encrypted electronic communications, jam enemy radar signals, decipher information in foreign languages and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and networks used to generate top secret intel.

    that’s sexy talk right there

  47. She works for NASA, not Yoyodyne.

You think she’s gonna tell us the truth about where she really works? I mean, c’mon man Romy is a Russian asset

  48. Thanksgiving turkeys don’t show up until mid-November around these parts.

And butts? I rubbed a big one and doused it with beer before throwing it in ‘the sauna’.

  49. JFC, that WSJ story shouldn’t be behind a paywall.

  50. I agree Laura, all Strassel articles are good

  51. *reads more in my echo chamber

  52. I googled the title and was able to see the entire Strassel column.

  54. Fox is not right leaning anymore. They have Tucker and Ingraham that’s it.

    Jesse Waters, Greg Gutfeld too.

Is Hannity still on Fox? He’s conservative but kind of a blowhard bloviator

  55. can you put a link beasn?

  56. Speaking of blowhard bloviators, where’s MJ?

  57. He’s on. Recently Tucker overtook him in ratings.

Tucker has the highest ratings for a cable show EVER! I found that interesting, since he’s so hateful and racist.

  58. I just added this Firefox extension and it’s allowing me to see paywall articles…I’m reading the WSJ Biden one now

  60. Oh come on, CoAlex, no one cares about foreign policy!

Didn’t you see that Trump has a secret bank account in Chy-na?

  61. eh crap, also goes to the paywalled article

  62. the fox article was abbreviated, wasn’t it?

  63. What a fucking bunch of cheapskates.

  64. *pinches another penny

    *gives ass penny to HS

  65. Hahaha haaa, Hotspur! Damn right. We’re just starting to climb out of the hole we were in during the Obama years. I drive an old truck and I spend no money. Except…I’m getting excited about a possible Christmas gift for myself this year.

The kitchen range we have, is a Hotpoint, about my age. I’m not kidding. We have the manual and it’s about 50 years old or possibly older, lol.

I was doing okay with it for a long time but the burners are getting weird and the whole top of it heats up too much when I’m cooking now. It may be time for a new range.

This is exciting. I want convection for baking!

  66. I can’t stand Hannity. He’s just a talking points spewer.

  67. What a fucking bunch of cheapskates.

ummmm, excuse me? I’m white trash, thank you

  68. Fuck that shit, if you sit with the FBI you need seven lawyers present to prevent them from manufacturing a process crime on you.

  69. Ok. I sure as heck don’t trust the FBI. I’m sure bobulinski has it all backed up…but ugh

  70. yeah, what laura said

  71. I could email yous guys the entire thing, if you want. I copied/pasted it and glad I did because when I went to look it up again, it didn’t show the entire thing.

I think I have your email laura. What about you Jay?

  72. When I was a kid and my mom was telling me what it was like to live in South America, she told me that nobody ever called the cops for anything, because the police were useless and would only show up to extort you, threaten you, throw your ass in jail on fake charges and make your family pay a bribe. I remember thinking how awful and corrupt that was and how lucky we were to live in a free country where that shit didn’t happen.

  73. fanks beasn!

  74. sent you an email if you don’t have my address

  75. Okay…incoming to a hotmail and gmail accounts.

  76. Are ass pennies any good for hemorrhoids?

    Asking for a friend.

  77. I keep thinking about what a stroke of genius it was to release the 60 minutes interview. It’s a psychological thing. These assholes normally get to put their bullshit out there unencumbered by truth and it spreads around the world unchallenged.

Now imagine you know the whole unedited video is out there, and you’re the person who has to do the deceptive editing for release on 60 minutes. Imagine you’re the people who release these hatchet jobs and are normally accustomed to getting accolades from your lefty pals about it. But this time, if you do that, it will be obvious to anybody that you are only spoofing reality. And THAT will become the story, not anything that Trump said.

He’s so far inside their OODA loop it’s not even funny.

  78. The real genius was making them do the interview in the White House. Otherwise he might not have had a tape to post.

Sitting Hunter’s partner in the front row was also a master stroke.

  79. I’m supposed to hate this guy because he’s a bully and he’s mean. Okayyy

  80. Is CBS still going to air the interview? I’d like to see how they edited it…compared to what actually happened

  81. I’m supposed to hate this guy because he’s a bully and he’s mean. Okayyy

That’s what I said to HotBride. She said, “He’s pretty aggressive. Not that that is bad.” And I said, “That’s what his supporters love about him.”

  82. RE: corrupt officials/cops/3rd world

A woman I follow on youtubes is married to a Kenyan. A year ago, they took their 10 kids back to Kenya for a couple of months to visit family…his family and her family, who owns/runs an orphanage. Over there, their ‘mixed’ kids are considered white. Over here, they are mostly considered black.

On one of their drives around town, the husband was pulled over for some made up bullshit, but was able to talk himself into only getting a warning when it was obvious the cop wanted money to let him go. Maybe having some of his ‘white’ kids with him…maybe his oration (one of his jobs is a pastor back home)..helped.

Once back home, the woman asked her kids if any of them would like to go back. All said they’d like to go back just to see family, for a short time. Only one said they’d stay for a year or two but would never put down roots there. None wants to live there. Lack of safe drinking water, gross public toilets – if you can find any, and corruption.

  83. I also loved it when he spelled out how Obama counseled him in his first days that we were going to be at war with the NorKonks.

Stand aside, Barry. Adults are talking.

  84. Nobody actually wants to go back to Africa. they want everything here, and they don’t want to work to get it. So they are having a tantrum in the grocery store, because mom won’t buy them sugared cereal.

  85. And, honest injun, I didn’t know what “the talk” is. HotBride had to explain it to me.

I thought, hmmmmm, maybe if you’d raised your kids throughout their young lives to respect authority and obey orders, a “talk” would be totally unnecessary. But I guess it’s a “thing” we have to talk about now.

‘Course I’m just an old racist.

  86. I don’t see Trump as a bully. I see him a results oriented guy who has learned not to take bullshit from unsavory, corrupt, a-holes. He’s not afraid to take them on. He’s got a spine and fights. I can’t listen to him when he goes off the cuff, he can be annoying, but compared to the career a-hole globalists pols, he appears to care for the country, as a whole and fights for it. It may not be for everything I want – like stahp with the handing out of the $$$ crap – but notice it’s $$ back to individual citizens and not crony businesses like Solyndra.

  87. Is CBS still going to air the interview? I’d like to see how they edited it…compared to what actually happened

LOL, that’s what they’re having to contend with, exactly, lol. For the first time in their lives, people are going to see what they do. Every hour that goes by, that has to bother them more.

Again, imagine you’re the guy doing the cutting and pasting right now, knowing that everything you do is going to be noticed and remarked upon.

  88. Nobody actually wants to go back to Africa.

It’ll be a few years or more before they go back. Mom, who was pregnant with the 10th at the time of that visit, and the three youngest all came down with some parasite, which could only be managed over there and not totally cured until back home. Lots of trips to the terlit and tons of dirty diapers….

  89. >>Stand aside, Barry. Adults are talking.

To be fair to Mr. ‘Present’, he was just going by what the military industrial complex was telling him they wanted to do.

  90. Awesome lineup Pup.

  91. *wonders if plans are in place to monkey with the vote*

  92. The first pic of miss doroshina makes me want to sign up for the second Bolshevik incursion.

  93. Can I have the article too Beasn? carin.obrien@gmail.com

And “the talk” is stupid. Every parent explains to their children how to deal with authority and how to act if they get pulled over. Perhaps they even watched their parents once or twice interact respectfully with a PO, and it was modeled for them.

The “talks” is racist, victim mentality bs.

  94. Forwarded, Car in, in case beasnsnsnnnssss doesn’t see it right away

  95. *considers changing name to Comrade Chimpski*

  96. jamski

    Sounds like a cool watercraft

  97. a flight from Bahrain to Tel Aviv, direct. Amazing times

  98. I don’t remember anybody ever telling me what to do for a cop interaction. My dad was always getting pulled over so I guess I watched him as a kid. He was calm and pleasant and would blame the defective speedometer. The first time I was pulled over for speeding as a teenager on my own, I was shaking like a leaf.

We drive too fast in my family.

  99. as you can tell by my avatar, I’m hardly ever pulled over. I try to stay within limits, and I have the pizza delivery driver cloak of immunity.

  100. I keep thinking about what a stroke of genius it was to release the 60 minutes interview. It’s a psychological thing. These assholes normally get to put their bullshit out there unencumbered by truth and it spreads around the world unchallenged.
    ——-
It was their money in the bank that would have taken the wind out of Trump’s sails following a killer debate performance. Without him releasing it they would have teased it for the next few days with scary quotes and ride that into next week to deflect from Buy-den’s troubles.

  101. Twitter suspends account of Ilhan Omar’s opponent in MN

Spread it far and wide. Twitter is a publisher, and needs to be reined in.

  102. Reuters said it’s partly false.

    https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-stella-twitter/partly-false-claim-twitter-suspends-account-of-ilhan-omars-challenger-for-no-reason-idUSKCN20L33A

It was suspended, that part is true. The “partly false” is that it was suspended “for no reason”.

    Gee, thanks, Reuters. assholes.

  103. I plan to combine “the talk” with the other “the talk”.

“Kids, if you’re pulled over for speeding, remember to wear a condom when fucking your way out of a ticket. You don’t want to get pregnant/get the cop pregnant, or catch a disease.”

  104. The kids’ parents might object to my talk, but I’m imparting valuable knowledge about the world.

  105. First time I was pulled over was on my way to my sister’s wedding reception. The cop was standing at a construction project in my hometown. MA requires a cop which is where a lot of overtime money rolls in. Anyway, the guy was a complete asshole and gave me a big fat ticket. Fortunately I mentioned my troubles to my cop cousin who told me that this guy was a “Jerk”. The ticket magically disappeared.

  106. Thanks Jam.

I kinda wish I could do a March Madness-style tournament with brackets and boob to boob matchups, but then I remember that I already devote too much of my life to other people’s bewbs.

  107. then I remember that I already devote too much of my life to other people’s bewbs.

What does Mrs. Pupster think of your hobby?

  108. Please tell me that will be before Nov 3?

If not, good on him, anyway. Not many billionaires can become president, and spread peace.

Reagan brought down the Iron Curtain, Trump brought down Islamic Extremism. What’s next?

  109. Watched John Stossel’s interview with Jo Jorgensen. Evidently, open borders is the way to get peace with China. Also, pulling troops from every overseas base. Korea was the example given.

No way I could vote for this person. she has no idea of an outside threat, and what that threat is. We also have treaties with Korea that put our troops there. China doesn’t like us being #1, it has nothing to do with us not being a good customer to them, we already prop up their economy.

  110. In case you haven’t seen it:

    Per your request, Joe

  111. Excellent Jay! I knew that was coming lol. Twitter added the mandatory “quote tweet” in an effort to “slow disinformation”. I just added Retweet before retweeting

  112. The ‘funny little video’ on Ace’s sidebar is killing me

  113. Getting ready to depart Tennessee

This video makes me so happy, I have tears in my eyes, and I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because I’m pessimistic about this election, and fearing what could follow. But the amount of people that take the time to come out and support this man is truly astounding.

The last person I can remember that turned out a crowd like this is Palin, on the right. Obama got his crowds, but that was his skin color, not his policies. The Palin rally I went to back in the day was huge. But they don’t hold a candle to these rallies, and impromtu meetups.

He went down the line, to greet the whole crowd. Just amazing.

  114. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-10-genetic-variation-differences-mathematical-ability.html

They found that variants in ROBO1, a gene that regulates prenatal growth of the outermost layer of neural tissue in the brain, are associated with the grey matter volume in the right parietal cortex, a key brain region for quantity representation. Moreover, grey matter volume within these regions predicted the children’s math test scores at seven to nine years of age. According to the authors, the results suggest that genetic variability might shape mathematical ability by influencing the early development of the brain’s basic quantity processing system.

  115. Look for that to be used as a genetic filter test by the “elites” wthin a decade, or (better, slightly) a target of ‘reparative’ gene therapy.

  116. Look for that to be used as a genetic filter test by the “elites” wthin a decade, or (better, slightly) a target of ‘reparative’ gene therapy.

I expect that gene therapy will result in a generation of children from the “elite” who are badly damaged.

  117. Likely, but it’s coming. Those who can afford it are either going to go with GATTACA-style filters on offspring, or tailored viruses to alter their somatic DNA.

  118. We’re going to end up Rainman-zombie apocalypse.

  119. Gattaca was scary, because it was believable. Right down to the non-matching ID, and no one caring because “the papers are good”.

  120. Watched John Stossel’s interview with Jo Jorgensen. Evidently, open borders is the way to get peace with China. Also, pulling troops from every overseas base. Korea was the example given.

Yea, I saw something yesterday, and she was going on about how we should be like Sweden. Not for COvid, but for international affairs.

    Yea, what is she? 18?

  121. Yea, I saw something yesterday, and she was going on about how we should be like Sweden. Not for COvid, but for international affairs.

I agree. We should use periods of global conflict to seize neighboring territories and expand our empire.

  122. Look for that to be used as a genetic filter test by the “elites” wthin a decade, or (better, slightly) a target of ‘reparative’ gene therapy.

I expect that gene therapy will result in a generation of children from the “elite” who are badly damaged.

Yea … I don’t think what people THINK makes a “good person” is actually what brings all that together.

Its sorta how … we’ve got all these things we can do to make people look “more beautiful” and all sorts of folks are being to look like hideous freaks. Am I the only person weirded out by people with teeth that are too perfect? It’s just … creepy. I dunno.

I enjoy watching older movies and you see HUGE stars with not perfect teeth.

  123. I agree. We should use periods of global conflict to seize neighboring territories and expand our empire.

Meh. There is something in between. We can stay out of what isn’t truly our business, but still know we have to occasionally send troops elsewhere.

  124. Anyone who works around animals, especially dogs and horses, knows the inherent dangers of breeding for a specific trait. It would be even worse when you’re talking about genetic engineering. Modify a kid’s genes to make him a genius at math, and suddenly he’s also autistic to the point of being basically incapable of social interaction. Try to modify genes for denser musculature, and oops, you his ligaments and cardiovascular system aren’t capable of handling it.

  125. “Good person”? Feh, I’m talking about sociopaths that would abort their own child for having what they perceive as a genetic “defect” of not being likely to get 800 math SAT.

Same thing could be used to screen applicants for Sidwell Friends and the like.

  126. Richard Grenell gets it

What a fucking bunch of cheapskates.

    ============

    Isn’t your wife Scottish?

  128. Rush Limbaugh is happier with stage 4 cancer than I have been in years. I don’t remember the last time I thanked God that I woke up in the morning, not sure I ever have. Mostly the opposite, honestly.

  129. What does Mrs. Pupster think of your hobby?

    She is…not a fan.

I usually knock out the bewb posts early Saturday mornings while she is still sleeping just so she doesn’t have to see me perusing.

  130. She is…not a fan.

I usually knock out the bewb posts early Saturday mornings while she is still sleeping just so she doesn’t have to see me perusing.

Just tell her, “I’m trying to determine the second best pair of tits, after yours.”

  131. Yep, that’ll work.

  132. after yours

It’s really not about quantitty or even qualittity, it’s about accessibilititty.

  133. That makes me sad, leon. Not just for Rush but your struggle. I struggle with why many a day and get irritated by my jonesing lifemate who thinks traveling and doing all the things is the secret to happiness before death and if I don’t get on board I’m somehow defective….when it truly is the most simple things that brings me joy…..cardinals talking to each other, the smell of marigolds and to some extent -skunk – both remind me of my dearly departed George.

    *Give leon a Gibbs*

    *then hugs him*

Talk to someone, figure out what will make you happy, then do it.

    I do/don’t know what I’m saying.

  134. Car in, I sent you the link before I saw that Jay had done so.

  135. Straight degeneration back to paganism…

  136. I checked on my butt, worried that the top sticking out of the liquid wasn’t getting cooked. My butt is bubbling and all is right in my kitchen. It’s starting to fall apart. Hope it will taste good.

  137. Honestly, I struggle with trying to figure out what would make me happy. I think I’ve gotten onto the start of a better track. We’ll see, once I’m in VA.

  138. Never had a problem with cops tasing me for being a smartass. They skeert me because my dad was one. He trusted noone and even we were perps until proven otherwise.

  139. Change in job would be a big one, CoAlex.

  140. a little sticking out of the liquid won’t hurt, just keep it covered with a lid. Bet it smells good.

  141. Beasn, my hope is that I’m a better fit in VA than I was in OH.

  142. Perfect scores on all the intel tests mean nothing if your head is planted firmly up one’s ass with zero common sense and lack of critical thinking.

I know a few people with high IQs who couldn’t/barely survive a toilet paper apocalypse. Or who thinks men are women because they said so.

  143. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you CoAlex. Just don’t get infected with swamp juice.

  144. My goal would be to stay out of the DC area unless I absolutely have to be there.

  145. Psychedelics as “entheogens” were a factor in ancient Greece, but they were marginal and very strictly limited in who could take them and for what purpose. There are well-documented tales of acolytes getting tossed into prison or exiled or worse because they stole them from the temples and hosted orgies with them on offer.

  146. So much to see and do in that part of the country. You are going to have a blast.

  147. Hopefully. Plan is to get settled, start taking classes again, and eventually go dancing again once this Kung Flu crap is done.

And if it doesn’t work out I may take Scott’s advice and buy a Sprinter van.

  148. My very limited experience with Psychedelics was LSD = BAD but mushrooms = pretty fun in the right context, but I’ve known some folks who couldn’t deal with the trip. Your mindset and situation at the start will set the tone for the adventure. I have a high school friend who was institutionalized after over indulging and he never really got right again. Scared me away.

  149. Have you heard back from whoever hired you, CoAlex? Have you gotten your clearance or whathaveyou?

  150. “Happy”. Been so long I’ve mostly forgotten what that was like. Lately I’ve been going over various things about myself I never closely examined before and…well, I’m getting a better handle on WHY I’m a mess and HOW I got like that, and how things I always told myself were no biggie really were and…also that ultimately those details probably don’t matter.

The whole remember-what-I’m-thankful-for thing seems to be helping, though. I think I mostly just lost perspective. It’s one step of many, but at least it seems to be in the right direction.

Beyond this: Get new vehicle, get new place to live, get dog/cat, get more gainful employment, be around better people. That’s my list. None of this “travel and experience” self-absorbed bullshit. Find your base and be true to it.

  151. Submitted my clearance paperwork on Tuesday. Now I’m just waiting for them to come back and say that I’m good for my interim clearance. The gal said it takes between a week and a month, usually, to get it.

  152. Two of my cousins (brothers) were into all sorts of drugs/psychedelics in the 70s. Fast forward…one has a new liver because the original got dead from hepatitis (dirty needles, etc). The other has been in a group home since his 20s when whatever he took fried his brain.

  153. None of this “travel and experience” self-absorbed bullshit. Find your base and be true to it.

I laugh whenever I see a dating profile that says she “loves travel”. I consider it a sign that she lacks an actual personality.

  154. Dang that seems like a long time. You’ve already put in your notice at your other job, right? So you have to sit around waiting for them. What a PITA.

  155. I left my job about six weeks ago.

I had to give my apartment complex 60 days notice that I wouldn’t be renewing my lease in September. So I did that and figured I’d either have a new job, or move into a new place and stay at the Ohio job another year. I got this offer, so I threw everything in storage and have been staying with family for the past five weeks.

  156. Get new vehicle, get new place to live, get dog/cat, get more gainful employment, be around better people. That’s my list. None of this “travel and experience” self-absorbed bullshit. Find your base and be true to it.

    Excellent and you’ll do it.

  157. Well, coalex, may it be a week and not a month for the next step in this process.

  158. Jay,, it’s been 9 hours and I’m thinking this baby is done.

It’s super soft. Like your dad.

*laughs like a loon and runs away*

  159. The more I think about that “I ran because of you” line, the more it reminds me of this:

  160. Amanda is doing very well today; is on the right track for post-transplantation:

Her morning labs looked good, lactic acid levels are down and hemoglobin was good. They backed the sedation and pain medicine both way down. She’s alert and wanting the vent tube out. The ventilator is turned down and she’s breathing well.

    Hallelujah!

  161. PJM, I live half an hour’s drive out of town, I try to multi-task whenever possible.

Lab was as it should be. No luck on finding a turkey, and it was going to be a 45-minute wait for the flu shot. Will try again tomorrow.

  162. The bowl is bigger than it appears.

    Mmm..butt

  163. Teresa, that’s wonderful!

  164. and it was going to be a 45-minute wait for the flu shot

Multitasking sounds way less interesting than all of that being available in the lab.
I’m curious though, why the flu shot? Although, I don’t know if masks are required where you’re at?
Where I’m at, we are required to wear masks pretty much all the freaking time, so I’m like, why get the shot? Aren’t I protected from the mask?

Gavin and I both get super sick from the flu shot. We’ve done it 3 times and each time, he’s been out for 10+ days, so we avoid it…but we’re not sure that’d mean he’d be SUPER screwed if he got the actual flu.

  165. beasn……that looks freaking amazing

  166. Amanda is doing very well today; is on the right track for post-transplantation:

    yessssssssss

  167. so we’re clear and not that it really matters cuz none of us are voters in that district, this is who ilhan omar is running against, that twitter story is old

  168. c’mon man Romy is a Russian asset

Moose and Squirrel gave me away.

  169. PJM, I am obese, I have asthma, and I have congestive heart failure. I didn’t bother with the flu shot in years past when the failure rate was high, but I got one last year because they did a better job. I’m also getting one this year in the hopes that it will keep me out of the hospital if I do get sick. I don’t want to be one of the co-morbidities statistics.

  170. TiFW, that is great news!

  171. Masks are required inside, but it’s not enforced that much. Heard Biden talking about requiring masks at all federal facilities, and I’m like, fuck you very much. I am supposed to wear a mask in common areas, like the hallway and the break room, otherwise I don’t wear one in my office nor in the labs.

  172. I’m also getting one this year in the hopes that it will keep me out of the hospital if I do get sick. I don’t want to be one of the co-morbidities statistics.

    ok yeah, totally makes sense.

  174. Carin, here’s a real power move for Ethan to consider: get a SEAL Trident tattoo during Basic. Way before he’s accepted to BUDS. SEAL’s love that shit … shows confidence

  175. Get “NAVY” tattooed down one calf.

  176. Trust Jimbro, he’s post-Mil.

  177. we’ve got all these things we can do to make people look “more beautiful” and all sorts of folks are being to look like hideous freaks.

e.g. Biden’s smile. He grinned several times last time, and it looked rictus.

  178. “AIR FORCE”. The Navy loves a challenge.

  179. last night, derp. I’m more tired than I thought.

  180. There was a girl in the Club today, who was a total 10. Great figure. Unmasked face was beautiful. I noticed her. Dan was telling me that Jeremiah isn’t gay, because he told Dan to check her out. Dan told Jeremiah that she was probably underage. I agree with Dan. Her mom looked like she was in her 30s. Messican

  181. See my yesterday. Woman with the see through yoga pants. I thought, Wow. She is rocking the yoga pants. Dan tells me on the way home “Did you notice the woman in the yoga pants? Why is it that she is the only woman wearing yoga pants that we’ve seen?”

  182. Dan meant the only woman wearing yoga pants that should be wearing yoga pants. I started showing him pics from Body Positivity sites. He ain’t woke.

  183. To get through SEAL training, it helps to know you have support at home. Which is why Ethan should get married before he ships out to basic.

  184. Snatch, Crackle, and CornPop is hilarious.

  188. Super 70s Sports on Twitter tweeted about Gaylord Perry, with a gif of him touching cap, face, ears, and neck, driving the batters crazy. Read where Reggie Jackson was tossed from a game after striking out, lol.

(not watching World Series but still getting baseball fix)

  189. That armor looks ineffective.

  190. Checked the local news websites. No mention of Hunter’s laptop or Biden criminal actions.

It would depend on what effect you’re going for……..

  192. I will tolerate no criticism of the wonderful Ms. Bastet. *rolls up newspaper*

  193. In case you missed it, we booped an asteroid this week.

  194. What am I seeing? Did the collection equipment suddenly accelerate away from the asteroid? Did it bounce or something?

  195. X-Rays of left hip today. Osteoarthritis and the socket’s busted up. Get referred to orthopod.
    “Golden Years” my ass.
    This sucks…

  196. Sorry, Crispy. How are you getting around?

  197. I’m doing okay for an old fart, just a little unstable at times. I don’t go on the roof anymore.

The downside of masking all the time:

This is bad, and dangerous for her.
