“Unconscious people don’t want tea…”

I am pretty sure that line isn’t supposed to be funny, but…..

Also, ya gotta love the 80’s…whether you want to or not

Welcome to my state….

  1. I made the expected changes to account for the different vessels and ingredients. I am an experienced baker and know enough so that I can make logical substitutions with a reasonable expectation of a good result. Sometimes with oat bran v, oat meal however it is going to be a time to test things out and experiment, starting with the first recipe.

I enjoin you sir, to BESA MI CULO

Heh heh … got a little spicy last night!

  2. Shooting at cops is how you get more Trump

Although the city did prep for violence, not encourage it. Wonder how long this Caucasian sponsored chimp out will last.

  3. Hope you feel better Teresa

  4. Thanks, Jimbro! I am already much better – yay!

But I am still confined to my daughter’s guest room until Friday

  5. The riots end when the rioters start getting shot and the DAs say “righteous shoot, carry on” instead of backing up their antifa homies.

  6. wakey wakey

  7. the riots stop when the media stops using every unfortunate event as a basis of propaganda to further their agenda.

Breonne taylor incident was a tragedy, but 1) she wasn’t a saint 2) they police believed she was holding cash and drugs for a known drug dealer 3) Witnesses HEARD the police announce their presence.

THe DAY BEFORE Breonne was killed, a white guy in another state was killed in a no-knock raid. it’s not racism. Breonne was involved with drug dealers. She was around them. They were her good friends. She went to their “trap” house. One used her mailing address. They used a car in her name. Also – a friend on facebook (unconfirmed by me, but she’s usually reliable) said she was unemployed, not Saint EMT success story, and being investigated for stealing pain meds from patients, etc.

  8. “Her personnel records show that she worked for the city from January 2016 through November 2016.

She was promoted to become an EMT in June of that year, and worked in that capacity for five months. It was a career her family has said she was proud of.

The documents show she’d called that November and resigned. A termination form also has a box checked stating do not rehire. But, it does not state a reason why that box was checked.

The city said it could not share that information because it’s a personnel matter.

Taylor went on to continue working in the medical field. At the time of her death, she was working for UofL Health as an ER technician.”

  9. Plus, all the early reports of the incident were completely wrong. They didn’t go to the wrong apartment. That’s a complete lie which fueled a LOT of anger. The person they were looking for wasn’t ‘already in custody’. They wanted to search her apartment.

  10. https://legalinsurrection.com/2020/09/ca-gov-newsom-signs-executive-order-banning-sale-of-new-gas-and-diesel-vehicles-by-2035/

In a state with rolling brownouts and no new power coming online that isn’t literally a literally-toxic net negative supported by subsidies (wind and solar).

  11. Are we going to eventually have to rescue Peej?

  12. It will be just like Cuba.

  13. I hope everyone in California buys a 30 year old diesel Mercedes.

  14. Anyone see Nadler crap his pants on live tv yesterday?

  15. I am ashamed to say it, but I dropped below a weight I never thought I’d see. Guess it’s progress, but can’t believe I let it go like that.

Oh well, moving on, losing tonnage!

  16. Legalize drugs and abolish no knock raids. Problem solved.

  17. I am ashamed to say it, but I dropped below a weight I never thought I’d see.

    Ashamed? Not proud?
    NOWAYYOUGOGIRLIAMPROUDOFYOUJAMES!!!

  18. Police did knock. And announce their presence. A witness has confirmed this.

  19. Wasn’t a no knock, peej. Don’t believe the crap you have been fed by the media. As Car in points out, as I read this.

  20. Ashamed that I let it go, and got to that point.

  21. Plus, they weren’t just selling Mary J. They were selling crack. I don’t want to live where crack is legal. And all that goes along with that. Shit, w/o some major changes to society (which wont’ happen ) crack addiction will be considered a disability and we’ll be paying for their habit.

  22. Black oil sunflower seeds in a small Havahart trap.

We are slaying tomato eatin sumbitches.

3 chipmunks and a vole yesterday.

  23. And – even if drugs are legalized (as mary j is here in Michigan) if you think that is going to stop it being sold “illegally”. And all the problems (guns violence $$) that goes along with that…

The drugs/violence connection is simply too firmly established. I’m not saying that all drugs should be illegal. What I’m saying that if you’re involved in illegal activity, bad things sometimes happen to you. Breonne was GOOD friends with a known drug dealer. She allowed him to use her address for deliveries (which may have all been innocent). She let him use her car. She KNEW what he did. Some distancing from him may have saved her life.

  24. The drug dealer friend EVEN SAID it was the boyfriend’s fault for shooting a cop. That is on tape. There is a lot of stuff on tape that is implicating and confusing. I don’t know how much was misunderstood, or that now they are trying to make up a story about what was said to make her seem more innocent.

  25. My friend’s daughter was visited upon in the middle of the night in a no-knock raid.

They didn’t die because they didn’t shoot the cops.

Happened in the spring. They were selling all sorts of drugs, and they dont’ do that shit for light amounts or less “dangerous” drugs. Sad because the girl lost her cousin to heroin OD.

The neighbors were glad it happened. They were sick of the shit going on there.

  26. Read line 15 …only ONE witness says they heard a knock. The raid itself was a no knock raid…whether they changed their minds or not (or whether someone confused the battering ram as a knock) the raid itself as listed in line 15 was a no knock raid
    https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/6890116-Louisville-Metro-Police-Department-Search-Warrant.html

Sorry, I don’t believe the police. Also, I believe raids for drugs are a useless waste of resources.

  27. My nephew is constantly listing my house as his address….cops show up all the time. I am terrified of the day they decide to raid my house for something he’s done. I guarantee you, if someone comes busting into our house in the middle of the night, Merv is gonna shoot first, ask questions later.

  28. Having lived next to drug dealers, I disagree. It’s very unpleasant. in the CURRENT state of affairs, it sucks.

  29. Black oil sunflower seeds in a small Havahart trap.

We are slaying tomato eatin sumbitches.

3 chipmunks and a vole yesterday.

When is your coffee table book coming out?

  30. Drug deals ON THE street practically in front of my house. Worried about letting the kids play in their own front yard. WHen I moved it, the neighbors were nice. Then … that happened. It sucked. Would my neighbors have hurt me? Probably not. But it meant there were very shady, shitty people there all the time.

  31. I have lived next door to drug dealers…haha if you knew where I lived, you know my whole area is like that. My dad’s (before he retired as a sheriff) driveway was directly across from them. Merv and I would sit on the porch and watch the endless stream of cars parked at the bottom of the hill, waiting for their turn to drive up and get their turn to purchase. We would also watch zombies walk up the hill waiting for their fix….believe me, it sucks, I know. I still think the government needs to back off drugs. I think you’d have a lot less violence if it weren’t driven underground. Much like alcohol being legalized has calmed shit down bootlegging and the dangers that happened with that.

  32. In fact, I took this video from my yard two years ago of one of their little buddies…trust me, I know what it’s like

  33. oh, I guess the video won’t link…interesting

  34. ahahaha you get to enjoy my eyeball every the where

  35. https://tinyurl.com/y2xz7jag

  36. Well, as I said. Marijuana is legal in Michigan. It still sold illegally. It’s cheaper or stronger or easier to get.

My mom’s neighborhood isn’t safe at all anymore because of drugs. I worry about her, but she won’t move. All drugs will never, ever be legalized. Crack. Heroin. It’s just not going to happen. So there will always be an underground market for it. So there will always be crime and violence due to it. To say we should just stop policing the most violent among them is to just tell all those people who live there – that they’re shit out of luck.

  37. There is and always will be a black market. Alcohol was out of it, then in it, then out again, sort of. There’s a lot of “grey market” alcohol even now, just as states like MI and CO have a lot of “grey market” marijuana.

All the law can really do is change the circle’s diameter and the demographics of the people within it, it cannot eliminate the circle.

  38. Also, of course – what Breonne’s friends were doing was illegal. They’re weren’t freedom fighters, living their best life because of MUH RIGHTS. For everyone Breonne there are loads of others who are victims of these criminals. If drugs weren’t illegal, would those dealers all be working 9 to 5 as productive citizens?

Its a complicated subject, but imho – we can’t get there from here. We can’t simply stop policing violent drug gangs and pretend everything will just magically get better.

  39. I had a crackhead knocking on my door EVERY DAY. Harassing me. Ugh. The day it’s ok to shoot crackheads that harass you is the day I’ll agree to legalize drugs.

  40. The EO for CA is extra stupid because it doesn’t even permit FFVs as I read it. You can’t run on pure alcohol because alcohols grab too much water from the air if they aren’t mixed with gasoline. You might be able to keep di-methyl ether pure enough, but you can’t buy a new diesel engine to burn it in, and biodiesel from any source is off the table entirely.

Monumental stupidity. It should hurt to virtue signal this dumbly.

  41. If drugs weren’t illegal, would those dealers all be working 9 to 5 as productive citizens?

I believe this has actually been studied. The average pot dealer was actually making less than the prevailing wage in a lot of cities per hour worked, but being a drug dealer carried more status and got them access to drugs and sex, and didn’t involve a uniform, so they preferred it.

  42. I’m actually really sorry that I said actually twice in that comment, actually.

I actually hate it when I do that.

  43. I actually think it actually made me think more about it. I think.

  44. But, seriously – while there certainly are a lot of very wealthy drug dealers there are a shit ton who really aren’t living their best life. The dealers beside me lived in a rental, and took shitty care of it. Their cars were meh, and they weren’t exactly going on crazy vacations.

It was just they’d rather deal drugs than get up at 7 am, etc.

  45. Drug dealers make their own hours but serve at peak times and locations, kind of like Uber and Lyft. I bet there’s a dark web app that works similarly.

  46. and drugs are illegal and this is going on…absolutely there will always be a black market. There is a black market for most everything, especially if the government has any kind of control over it (so everything) but the neighborhoods you’re describing and the neighborhood I’m describing are all currently like that and drugs are illegal….so something needs to be done.
Also, never once did I say stop policing violent drug gangs, but I can’t find anywhere where it said Breona was involved in a violent drug gang.
Also, the warrant listed all sorts of drugs they were interested in looking at, but if you look at the warrant I linked, all they ever found on the original drug dealer was marijuana and cocaine.
I believe mushrooms, cocaine, and marijuana and LSD should all be legalized.
Hell, fetanyl is legal and far more lethal than any of these items

  47. and for the record, I’m pretty much almost straight edge…except my contractor is driving me to drink
but I’m a big proponent of microdosing, but am not interested in trying to hunt down a dealer who could possibly be a shitty human being so I can get mushrooms. If weed was legal like it is here, I could go to the weed store and get what I was interested in.

  48. Mushrooms are basically impossible to make illegal. Anyone with a a closet, a box, and spent coffee grounds can grow more than they’d ever want. The illegality of them on paper now just makes it harder to get the stronger strains.

That said, amanita muscaria is completely legal, but unless you prepare it perfectly it’ll either be (1) deadly poison or (2) just a tasty mushroom, not a gateway to Dimension X.

  49. https://amgreatness.com/2020/09/23/women-are-not-ok/

  50. As far as Newsom is concerned…fml and living in California. Is there an electric powered vehicle that can tow my camper AND fit a pile of kids? This law will happen when I can finally leave this state…thankfully

  51. I’m a big proponent of microdosing, but am not interested in trying to hunt down a dealer who could possibly be a shitty human being so I can get mushrooms

You don’t have to. The hippies incidentally spread spores pretty much everywhere in the 70’s and 80’s. Just have to know how to ID them. I’ve found psilocybe cubensis just growing in a nearky park at the right times of year, and not in small amounts.

Also found about 10# of dryad’s saddle in my woods yesterday. Not a trippy mushroom, but it cooks up nicely, might go gather it later when I get off work.

  52. This is true, we’ve actually grown them (actually, my now 22 year old did when he was 15, he grew regular mushrooms on the side and we didn’t know any different)…however, I’d be in a lot more trouble felony wise if I grew them and the cops decided to show up raiding my house looking for my nephew who hasn’t lived in that house for over 20 years, but still show up with like 4 or 5 SUVs, lights flashing, having the whole neighborhood wonder what we’re in trouble for…..it’d be much easier to find a friend of a friend who lives at the beach and can supply them for me, only having a consistent supply is iffy

  53. Also, I think mushroom spores are a little easier to find in your neck of the woods, than mine…I’m pretty much in the desert

  54. They found more on the original drug dealer – ecstasy as well. He was also selling meth. This lists everything they are charging Glover with: http://louisvilleprosecutor.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/08-31-2020-CAO30KY-Media-Release.pdf

  55. I’m basically a weed farmer now. But you guys knew that, right?

  56. PJ, drive north until you hit forest or look in the landscaping near older police stations after a warm rain. You’ll find them.

  57. Are they hiding crops in your woods are are you growing it on purpose, Carin?

Lie to me if you need to.

  58. original drug dealer…also not Breonna or her boyfriend. In fact, the article you linked removes her as being a co-defendant. They shouldn’t have been raiding her house…they should have been going after the original drug dealer.

  59. Lie to me if you need to.

Lie? She’s hotboxing in her car right now

  60. Its 100% legal. And nope. Its right there in my garden.

  61. The drug dealer said on tape he had Breonna holding his money. Perhaps he was lying, who knows. She was good friends with him. His mail was delivered to her house. He used her car. She was at the “trap house” and knew all about it.

That’s why its a good idea to not get mixed up with major drug dealers. Which he was.

  62. Car in gets up at 7am to deal drugs. Doin it rong.

  63. Hey, you know I’m a major drug dealer, but do you mind if I get packages delivered to your house?

Yea, ok. Sure. I’ll drop them off for you occasionally at the trap house if you need me to.

    yea, bad idea.

  64. I’m not saying that mistakes weren’t made. But how is the mistake made in this case any different than the mistakes made in the Daniel Shaver shooting? or in the no knock raid of Duncan Lemp? (drugs were no part of either of those events)

Or mistakes made when someone goes through a red light and kills someone else?

Policing can be improved, and we can ask everyone to pay more attention when driving. But simply because these things happen doesn’t mean we need to burn this motherfucker down.

  65. Still, doesn’t deserve the death penalty. Dude had NO idea it was the police raiding his home
    911 call
has his saying, “someone broke into my home and shot my gf”
if the cops had announced who they were, I don’t think he’d have been that clueless when he made the 911 call

  66. well maybe we DO need to burn it down every time a white man gets shot? We’re blowing this. This could be our time to not lay down anymore and let the government keep turning on its own citizens…much like with this mask bullshit

  67. My nephew is constantly listing my house as his address….cops show up all the time. I am terrified of the day they decide to raid my house for something he’s done.

Sounds like you need to do a family intervention with your nephew and tell him to quit using your address or you will krav maga his ass. HE is putting you in danger and not just from the police. Then get on friendly terms with your local police. Tell them he’s a shit and you don’t want nothing bad to happen at your place.

As far as hard drugs…I think we should do something along the lines of cartels and dealers getting the death penalty. Also, is there a test for weed? If I had a business, I’d want to ‘weed’ those people out. I worked with too many potheads….no wait, I worked and they f*cked around which made even more work for me.

  68. We don’t need any such absolutes ever. Someone did a study of police shootings where death occurred. The actual number where a person was killed and they actually hadn’t been a threat of some sort was very small. Given the risk of their job, and consequences – obviously mistakes made by law enforcement officers can have much more damaging consequences than those made by me … or you.

Unless of course, you believe cops are blood thirsty murderers who enjoy killing folks.

And I don’t think comparisons to the mask mandate are fair.

  69. But people do lose their shit sometimes if I mess up their order. You’d think they were going to die.

  70. I know so many people that smoke weed recreationally and you’d never know. They wait til they get home and have a hit much like some people come home and have a glass of wine. There’s no difference Problem is, weed stays in your system for up to a month, so there’s really no way to weed out who uses and who doesn’t unless you just insist no one ever use weed, then you’d be missing out on a lot of doctors, lawyers, waitresses, police officers (I cannot even begin to tell you how many police officers I know that smoke weed) You don’t have to be completely incapacitated when you smoke weed. You can take a hit off it and relax. That’s it. You’re still a fully functioning human being.
I think comparisons to masks are fair. No knock raids, asset forfeiture, masks, fining kids for lemonade stands….all things the government needs to butt out of

  71. But people do lose their shit sometimes if I mess up their order.

well yeah, I said NO ONION!!!!

beasn, as far as my nephew is concerned? ahahah family intervention is cute. When he’s not in jail (which he currently is til Jan 2021) he lives in the San Diego riverbed with all the other homeless drug users and/or mentally ill. There’s no intervention. I would have to go hunt him down in the riverbed and say hey you, I know you’ll remember this next time you get arrested, but like, can you please stop using my address when you get arrested? I know it’s the ONLY thing you remember as that house has been in our family since 1957.

  72. I personally like a little bit of government. If someone is dealing drugs next door, I like to be able to call the po-po. If they have to come in the middle of the night to catch them with shit – so be it. I mean, since its illegal for me to go over there with my gun and force them to move or stop.

The mask stuff is just stupid. They do nothing. I’m pretty sure none of it will hold up in court should anyone choose to take it there.

  73. And, I’m probably not going to call the police on the neighbor who doesn’t threaten my way of life. He takes care of his garden, and takes my paper to the porch for me when I forget, and insures that his business is no threat to the neighborhood- I’m fine with THAT guy.

  74. well yeah, I’m ok with some government as well…it’s government overreach I have a problem with.
as for masks, it’s kind of interesting
Gavin broke ANOTHER freaking bone playing football, I’m trying to encourage him to maybe pick a different sport…like golf, as this is his 4th time
but anyhoo, getting the cast, we got hit up to get the flu shot no less than 5 times while we were there….but um, we’re wearing masks, so like, doesn’t that protect us from the flu?

  75. ahahaha Seattle, you just get more and more stupid

  76. DC elected a crackhead.

  77. ““Me, as a Black man has the right to be paid for my genius or for whatever my organization can provide,” he told a local outlet. “Black people as a whole have not been in a place to be compensated for their genius or their work for a very, very long time.””

That made me laugh into my mask.

  78. Whitmer wants MI to be carbon-neutral by 2050 to stop climate change. Climate change that — it is claimed — would make MI’s climate identical to Florida, without the hurricanes.

WTF is wrong with this bitch?

  79. ““Me, as a Black man has the right to be paid for my genius or for whatever my organization can provide,” he told a local outlet. “Black people as a whole have not been in a place to be compensated for their genius or their work for a very, very long time.””

That literally sounds like a character in an old Eddie Murphy movie….or from Idiocracy

  80. Plenty of black men have been compensated well for their genius, you r-tard. I’ve got 4 Muddy Waters CDs.

  81. and their athletic abilities..

  82. Remind me, who’s in charge of HUD right now?

It’s just asinine to claim that, the guy’s a racist looking for payouts.

  83. I’ve been looking in my bag of fucks for Breann Taylor.

It’s empty. I can’t believe it, but there’s nothing left. Not a thing.

  84. Anybody on our side, any pundits, talking about why BLM is attacking and burning *businesses* almost exclusively?

  85. Do you have any theories as to why Laura?
Cripple the economy more? I dunno

  86. Also super handy that the Ongoing Global Pandemic Unlike Any Other In History keeps all these restaurant patrons out on patios and close to the street so they can be easy targets.

  87. Because Capitalism is racist. DUh. Don’t you even pay attention?

  88. This is so frustrating. I’ve spent the last 2 hours trying to find a snippet of python code to turn IPv6 CIDRs into ranges, and the only search results are like 100 different online services that do it for you but hide the code so they can datamine the lookups.

Jay, do you have something? You’re trapped in a similar nightmare jerb, iirc.

  89. Also, minority businessmen who prosper through hard work aren’t part of the Control Machine. Can’t have a competing paradigm.

  90. Dang, I wish I could remember Python. Learned it to pass my class and then let it fall out of my brain.
Highest cert I ever got was my Linux
Glad it never expires….cuz I don’t remember squat about that either

  91. Maybe listening to this will jot your brain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDZX4ooRsWs

  92. I would have to go hunt him down in the riverbed and say hey you, while wearing a mask, kick his ass bloody and say, use my address again the next time you get arrested and I’ll tell the other residents of this shithole dump that you are a narc

    Fixt.

  93. I’ve been looking in my bag of fucks for Breann Taylor.

It’s empty. I can’t believe it, but there’s nothing left. Not a thing.

I don’t believe anyone other than her bf and mother really care

  94. Ran out of gas on my mile and a half walk waayy down at the other end of my block. Horey clap, didn’t think I was going to make it back. Should have eaten a little something before going.

  95. What is more better for you, regular Quaker oats (of the one minute and it’s done variety) or oat bran? Bought a bag of Bob’s Red Mill oat bran yesterday. The recipe on the back, for bran muffins, looks pretty darn tasty.

  96. That’s ok beasn, you’re going to have to start thinking of a gas alternative….when it gets banned in California, it’ll trickle to other states

  97. If the rest of the country goes CA, we’ll be northern Mexico for sure and then it’s every man for himself. Form posses and take out drug dealers and the corrupt pols who allowed it all to happen. Only need to string up a few on lightposts…..

  98. We just heard something go thump…probably a bird hitting the front window. Husband wondered if the basement door was locked. You should have seen the look on his face when I said, “Maybe your mom came back.” He may have pooped his pants a little. Said if he went down there and she was, he’d run away, screaming.

Speaking of which, he went to see her. According to her, he lost his job, the house had a fire, he was in the hospital, we’re way too loud at night and it’s disturbing the other residents, and she’s tired of the people coming to her door asking her for money for the poor. The last one could be happening per other dementia’d residents…but I doubt it.

  99. Right, it’s because they are marxists, and marxists immediately demonize and destroy businesspeople as soon as they possibly can. Lefties aren’t even asking among themselves how burning down the corner bodega/ cellphone repair service has any benefit to their supposed civil rights cause. Zero curiosity whatsoever.

  100. When is your coffee table book coming out?
    ——-
Coffee table book about moving coffee tables and such

    Very meta

  101. I don’t believe anyone other than her bf and mother really care

Remember Michael Brown? The only time his parents gave a crap about him was after he got dead and they were demanding $$$ from the city….which gave it to them anyway AFTER the cop was found not guilty by a jury of black folks listening to the testimony of black witnesses.

  102. If the EO for all electric cars was accompanied by a plan for 20 regional nuclear power plants he’d be celebrated for his wisdom.

But it wasn’t and he’s a pure jackass

  103. I’ve got a new Garmin watch/step counter and it is as sassy AF. It buzzes me and tells me to MOVE. I thought I shut the dang alerts off yesterday. Knew I should have just replaced the step counter only.

  104. Lefties aren’t even asking among themselves how burning down the corner bodega/ cellphone repair service has any benefit to their supposed civil rights cause. Zero curiosity whatsoever.

I don’t think these people have had a coherent thought for a long time. From the looks of a lot of those people, in their offtime, they live in the riverbed with my nephew.

  105. Lefties aren’t even asking among themselves how burning down the corner bodega/ cellphone repair service has any benefit to their supposed civil rights cause. Zero curiosity whatsoever.

Angry people conditioned by life to think that tantrums result in candy is an adequate explanation to me, but I’m sure some of those involved really just want to break the USA and establish some new horror.

  106. Reading Carin’s comments about Breann Taylor was the first I’ve heard any of that stuff. They successfully put one over on me. Admittedly I haven’t been following that story closely but you’d think the usual blogs (looking at you Ace!) would be hammering away at it

  107. I’ve come to assume a counter-narrative in all cases when there’s an “unarmed POC murdered by cops!” story anymore. I’m yet to have the contrapositive (“armed or likely-to-be-armed POC dies while fighting police and/or resisting arrest or questioning”) completely reproved.

  108. That’s my take on these things too Leon and given the time since it happened you would imagine that the info would have filtered out

  109. Maybe it has and I wasn’t paying attention

  110. Reviewing floor plans, doors that have card readers (CR) and Aiphone intercoms (AP) have the symbols side by side (CR AP) and it makes me giggle.

    Carry on.

  111. Unless there is video, it’s a lie. And generally speaking unless there’s 30 mins of video – of the whole thing – it’s a lie.

Hundreds of millions of dollars are being made on these lies. That’s a powerful incentive which means there will be more of them.

  112. Beasn, we’ve had a few bird strikes on our big windows facing a big mountain ash tree. It’s loaded with berries and it happens every year. Many more birds benefit from eating the berries than die so it and its neighboring ash tree remain

    https://www.arborday.org/trees/treeGuide/TreeDetail.cfm?ItemID=872

  113. Yeah, the whole video of Saint George resisting the cops and a prompt tox result showing the fentanyl level would have been useful. I don’t think it would have stopped the riots but maybe it might have saved a few businesses

  114. Mmmm.. ash berries.

  115. The problem with getting “the truth” out is nobody believes it once the outrageous lies propagate, and the media is not interested in peaceful resolution.

  116. 17th birthday party for Ben later today. When Paula and I got together he was 5 years old. I’ve been his step dad longer than his biological dad who has been gone 9 years at this point. He’s a good kid, glad he’s in my life.

With me it’s the Throckmorton Sign. Never fails to make me laugh like a lunatic.

  119. When the media goes on about some atrocity, the first question should always be, “What aren’t they telling me”? Because I guarantee the things they refuse to tell will turn the story around 180 degrees 9 times out of 10.

I love feel good Hallmark stories
    Happy Birthday Ben!!

  121. That mountainash looks like a nice tree. Even better that birds like it. Is it the same as a regular ash, which is being decimated by the ash borer or is it a sort of cousin?

HEY WATCH STFU!! It just buzzed me again.

  122. We had to take down the two ash trees we had, earlier this year, due to their deaths from beetle.

  123. I don’t know if you’re even allowed to plant ash trees here yet. There was a moratorium on them to let the borers die out.

  124. https://whattreewhere.com/tag/russian-mountain-ash/

Apparently they’re not a true ash tree despite being called ash trees. Sounds like I have European Mountain Ash in my yard.

  126. Happy Birthday, Ben 🎂🎉🎊

  127. Thanks! I’ll let him know later that the Hostages want cake. He calls the H2 “Big Boob Friday” even though I’ve told him multiple times it’s the Hostages. I think he enjoys the eye rolls that gets from Paula.

Pretty sure there’s an ice cream cake in the freezer. Paula’s folks are coming, a couple of his friends and a girl who briefly dated his older brother. She figured out he was trouble and bailed on him but she’s a farm girl and actually helps Paula’s parents and auntie with their chores.

  128. big boob friday want CAKE!

  129. Texas Reloaded – Greatest joint campaign ad in history

Cheesy and fun, nice ad, Dan.

  130. Some Rando on twitter called the U-Haul driver “Another Antifa forklifter”. I’m calling fat chicks “Forklifters” from now on.

  131. I got behind a big black badass Chevy pick up truck today.
Guy driving was wearing a black cowboy hat.

I looked down at the license plate

    SNUGGLES

  132. That guy sounds like Hostage material already.

In case it wasn’t clear, according to GOPers I’ve spoken with, the many Republican office holders attempting to assure the public of a peaceful transfer of power are sending a message to the White House.

  138. especially when a pig tried to eat it

  139. Unless I’m married to all of them, why would I be even mildly worried?

    good point
ugh, way to think all logically about it and ruin the whole thing
    programmers…I swear!!

  140. I remember there was a day back in like 2005 maybe? That I thought Jake Tapper was a reasonable human being. That thought passed a long time ago

  141. I was at a big gathering at one point with my ex wife and some mutual friends, post-divorce. Ex called me over to do something, I don’t even remember what, with the other women asking as well.

“Nah. It’s not any of you can turn me down for sex at this point more than you already have.”

  142. hahahaha ahhh I love that

  143. I just want you all to know, I’m reeeeeeeeeeeeeally dreading next week at work. Starting next Tuesday, students are coming back on campus. One day a week, but there’ll be 4 days of students in attendance.
I shit you not, the teachers are losing their ever loving minds over this and are positive they’re going to die and the amount of wailing and gnashing of teeth is gonna be and already is ridiculous
however, I will spin this to my advantage.
Due to my fear of catching the virus, I will not work on any computer issues while the teachers are in their classrooms.

    this…is….so….freaking…delicious.

  149. I read about the licorice story, earlier. All I can say is I am extremely lucky I can’t get Wiley Wallaby Licorice in NM. Dan is convinced that I am trying to kill him with all of the clearance black jelly beans I buy.

  150. “Totally on the level”
    These fucker never give up.
    Point —— deflect.

  151. They’re the irritating grade school kid that doesn’t knock it off until someone tunes ‘em up.

  152. I hope I’m still around to point an laugh when they get their shit handed to them.

  153. I think I will take the week of the election off from work.

    Best TV ever.

  154. ‘Sup cuntz?

This makes me really happy. Have a great celebration.

  156. Sup

  157. I haven’t seen the media freak out about the transfer of power thing but isn’t this the exact kind of situation that Trump likes to thrust upon them? Doesn’t he love rubbing his balls on their face?

No one gives a shit about this except for moral larpers.

My word! Where is the divan upon which I faint?

What a bunch of idiot pussies.

  158. I had to take MJr to the Dr today to get a note saying that he has allergies so he could go back to school. Meanwhile, the zertec or whatever kicked in and his nose isn’t even runny.

What a stupid time to be alive.

  162. Getting lectured by the cunt in Santa Fe. NM is in play. Silent Majority. People are traveling out of state and lying about it.

  163. A few months ago I thought the Trump people needed to figure out the rally situation. ASAP.

They totally nailed it. Well run campaign.

It appears that Biden’s entire campaign is designed to spend money on consultants that then suck up even more money to spend on commercials conveniently produced by their companies. It’s like a huge Lincoln Project scam. What an idiot.

  164. Is MJr still a boy?

  165. Starting next Tuesday, students are coming back on campus.

My district and other rural districts have sent their kids back to school with an online option for scaredycats. St. Louis and St. Louis County are still running around with their heads up their asses. It came to a head when the a-hole county executive banned sports for kids. Kids and parents started protesting. Kids and parents from St. Louis county districts said F U and decided to hold their sports events out in my county with their superintendent’s blessings.
Seeing how idiotic it all was, it appears the county executive said ‘okay, we’ll go ahead and allow non-contact sports after all’….so maybe just high school football practice/games will be held out here.
    Good grief.

In the meantime, they’ve been going back and forth, noone knowing what the hell to do about in person school. First they were all, we’re doing online only, at least for the first quarter. Then they were all, we’ll do in person for some time but then they didn’t have anyone to cover online. So they thunk up, hold in person classes and put a camera in the room —– which would include the special ed kids in regular classes and their special classes — which will make great teevee when one of them gets violent and teacher needs to physically put them on the ground. My meek daughter spoke up to her principal with a ‘Wtf? That is such a bad idea.’ So they ixnayed the cameras in the classroom and are now ‘we’re opening in-person classes for grades K-3.

it’s like noone is paying attention to how gradeschool kids are not the ones spreading chongfluey. Daughter will be vested this year and is 90% sure she won’t be signing her contract next year. Says there has already been a exodus of teachers and specialists like herself.

  166. I have often wondered how to become the Steve Schmidt of democrat campaigns.

  167. RE: the Brionna case, Viva Frei just did a live video thing, with Barnes, Nate the Lawyer, and can’t remember the other guy, about the case. Lots of facts and info coming out that was known but lazy media and it appears a shady hierarchy in the PD and justice system. They agree, it could have been handled differently, but the blame should go on the judge and the supervisors. It was a no-knock warrant and should have been executed as such, but for some reason, they decided to knock. Had they gone in per the warrant, there’s a good chance the guy inside would not have gotten his gun and start shooting at cops and the gal would still be alive.
(Also, the felons involved dropped a lot of info over the jail phone because they’re stupid.)

Hopefully Viva will break the session down into it’s parts so it will be easier to find.

  168. Beasn!!! Dan has a STL cousin doing genealogy. MIL attended St Margaret of Scotland. Pretty awesome. His family is buried in St Peter St Paul cemetery in St Louis. When next we go to STL, I can’t wait to have lunch with you.

  176. I remember fondue. Letting children cook meat in boiling oil, or dunk food in scalding hot cheese. This is how we learned to be careful. Couldn’t do that today.

  177. I’m gonna get one. I’m gonna restart the trend.

  178. Is keto fondue a thing?

  179. Sure. Cook meat in tallow or coconut oil.

  180. Or fry cheese in animal fat. Not kosher, but I’m sure it’s delicious.
