  2. I fully approve of your category selection.

  3. Saw a comment somewhere buried in a longer article, maybe Powerline blog, about undecided voters knowing the Dems are agitating and causing unrest but vote for them anyway just to make the unrest go away.

I’m concerned that there may be more to this than we realize. I guess, like some of you, I’m feeling a little anxious about current events. I’m deliberately watching less news but it’s hard to avoid news when you’re a Rush listener.

  4. As Little As Possible, or ALAP, is useful when carefully applied to a situation

  5. I love it when Jimbro speaks Latin.

    It classes up this dump.

  6. Was reddit always a liberal cesspool? I first heard of it randomly but MJ used to link a lot of gifs off of it so at some point I started using it and created an account. I get a daily “newsletter” from them with article highlights and the all seem to either be “conservative pwned” or Orange Man Bad stuff.

  8. General Flynn called Rush yesterday.

I used to think Benghazi was atrocious as far as politicians being absolute scum and us knowing about it.

I think Flynn’s situation is beyond (_____________). I can’t think of a perfect word right now. Can you? But I’m horrified this can happen.

  10. Re: General Flynn

    The fact it can happen
    The fact it did happen
The fact that the perps won’t suffer any consequences

All of those are equally outrageous; you can just imagine the outrage you’d be hearing if the shoe were on the other foot

  12. Very relieved over the Flynn outcome, but stunned that Strzok walks free. This Durham investigation better be worth the wait.

And The Herculoids was the best 60’s cartoon.

  13. Can someone confirm whether or not an actual email between Obama, Biden and a third party gave the go-ahead to prosecute Flynn?

It didn’t used to be, but we’re talking a looooooong time ago. They’ve recently gone through a few purge cycles where subreddits that were deemed offensive were nuked. It started with a subreddit called r/fatpeoplehate and then basically spiraled. The last chapter has been the slow closing of the r/TheDonald. It’s a really funny meme generation subreddit that has been instrumental in creating content. There are thousands of users putting up funny shit and the cream of the crop naturally rise to the top via upvoting. The content is then linked all over social media. Remember the funny Carpe Donktum videos from a few years back? That shit all started on the r/TheDonald.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1ew2TJ7qI4&list=PLykryZtogkYKuiBJZ3X1BLdJv3DS6Ueg4

Reddit was originally founded as a site that would never censor but of course, that changed when the SJWs took over. It’s now a dumpster fire of approved leftist speak where any transgression is immediately punished. They’e gone from 4chan to Tumbler in the space of a few years.

TheDonald, was of course smart enough to start their own site that looks and feels just like reddit but is free from control. They sensed the purge was coming and apparently the mods worked for free and at their own expense to build the site. I highly recommend going to https://thedonald.win. These autists are highly skilled and funny as hell.

  15. Excellent, I opened it as a tab for checking out later

  16. Carpe Donktum has been permanently banned from Twitter.

    Use Parler people, use Parler.

  17. https://nypost.com/2020/06/24/tech-community-rallies-against-racial-bias-of-facial-recognition-programs/

I’d think the so-called scientists would want the research in the open so it could be examined and debated.

FTR, I’m not a big fan of widespread use of facial recognition tech but its advancement into society seems inevitable

  18. Three years of public executions of folks at all levels of the Left might staunch this bullshit.

    Might.

My patience with all aspects of this civilizational clusterfuck ran out years ago. I’m no happier with the jackasses that sat by and let it happen than with the folks who actively undermined it all. And yes, I include myself there, though with special hate for those who looked the other way because “they got theirs”.

    Fuckitall.

  19. SEMBER UBI SUB UBI

  20. hahahahaha

  21. We have made reservations to go to Hawaii in August because last week they said the quarantine would be over July 31. Now the dumbasses at the state level have decided you must be tested for an active case of COVID 3 days before arriving. However, if you are healthy you do not qualify for the test (I took a “quiz” and do not qualify). Secondarily we are visiting my husband’s Mother before we go, she lives in CA and you cannot get a test unless you live in CA.

    CLUSTERF**K

I’d be willing to pay ($119) for an antibody test but “experts” are saying if you test positive for antibodies it does not mean you don’t have an active case therefore it’s basically useless.

  22. CAULK!!!

  23. I totally get the fuckitall feeling but I also think there’s a shift happening.

People are sick of this shit, obviously. And Trump is pretty good at waiting for the right moment to make a move. I’d have preferred a stronger approach but that didn’t happen and here we are. Let’s see what the big man has left for this campaign.

I checked the data from 2016 and Trump pretty much bottomed out around this time last year. He was polling in the mid 30s. It was awful. Everyone laughed at him. But then he outworked everyone which seems like the right story to me for 2020.

Biden is non-factor. It’s about Trump working hard to bring out the votes. Trump is a lot of bad things but lazy isn’t one of them. And if he loses? We’ll split from the Republican party and start a new one.

  24. I don’t twitter, so kind of don’t care, but I love that carpe donkum person. Funny as fuck.

So I guess I get to parler.

  25. People were irked that you had to give a phone number for Parler but you don’t. I just gave my email.

  26. Spawn of Jerry

    https://tinyurl.com/ya6dadjp

  27. When I used Parler it kept going through a sequence of username and password, 2FA and Captcha over and over. I got frustrated and gave up on it. It might be because I use Firefox. If it gets bigger or more content migrates I will make the effort again.

  28. no phone for parler here. But it’s gonna be an echo chamber. Thats why you still have to twitter, to know what the other side thinks. You’d be pretty screwed if you got all your news here.

  29. why you still have to twitter, to know what the other side thinks.
You’d be pretty screwed if you got all your news here.

    ——-

    What?

  30. Signed up for parler

  31. if you got all your news here.

    ——–
    Do you mean H2?

  32. Car in and I are in mourning.

    Well, not me exactly.

  33. Just signed in again.

    Username/password
    Capcha
    Verification code (sent via text)

I guess I can live with that but if I mess up the captcha and/or have to do it every time I open it that’s a bug

  34. I don’t follow any lefties on Twitter. Why would I? I don’t give a shit what they “think.”

And they don’t think, they feel.

  35. Jimbro, I do think it’s your firefox.

  36. Dems are having a virtual convention, ostensibly for fear of Kung Flu.

RNC is going to have a real one, with a packed venue.

I have to believe that the essence of the human spirit is to seek hope over fear, and the contrast between these two events will be sharp.

  37. Leon, why do they have antibody tests for COVID when they really don’t mean anything?

  38. Hiden Biden is def the strategy. They’ve said as much.

I’m sure that’ll work out great.

  39. … echo chamber. That’s why you still have to twitter, to know what the other side thinks. You’d be pretty screwed if you got all your news here
    —-
One of the reasons I listen to NPR on my way to work in the morning. Gotta know what the opposition is talking about and learn their buzzwords.

If it weren’t for twitter’s bias and promoted tweets I’d have my own echo chamber over there with the people I follow

  40. I sorta love NPR. Always have.

But goddam if they aren’t stereotype of the leftovers from the 60s.

  41. Leon, why do they have antibody tests for COVID when they really don’t mean anything?

$$$ and “your papers, please” style enforcement.

  42. Do you mean H2?

    Exactly

  43. I get all my news from Ace, Instapundit, WNDU, and WOOD.

  44. I don’t follow any lefties. I don’t do facebook. I don’t watch network news. I get my news from Ace and sometimes Bongino report. I choose.

Does knowing what the left feels really help you in any way. Be specific.

And MJ NPR is embarrassing shit. We should absolutely stop paying for that garbage.

  45. I’d rather listen to a Jocko Willink podcast in the car than ever listen to NPR.

  46. By the way, Jocko’s podcast with Jordan Peterson is excellent. Well worth the listen.

  47. Supporting Twitter is awful.

I’m deleting the whole deal. If I can figure it out.

  48. https://evolutionnews.org/2020/06/bits-and-bytes-at-the-bottom/

  49. The only thing I’ll miss about twitter is Kurt Schlichter and Benny.

  50. Kurt and Benny are on Parler, so you won’t miss them.

  51. re: knowing what lefties think.

The way lefties think is so different than the way I break things down that knowing about it makes me think things in a different way. It helps me troubleshoot my opinions. It also teaches me to consider other people’s outlook and opinions. Sometimes I even change my mind.

  52. Done and done.

  53. And MJ NPR is embarrassing shit. We should absolutely stop paying for that garbage.
    ——————
OMG totally. I haven’t listened in months because I don’t drive much anymore.

I’m sorta hooked on The Darkhorse, The Portal, and Waking Up, and Jordan Peterson lately. Good podcasts but I tend to skip anything overtly political.

  54. Sometimes I even change my mind.

    ——-

What have you changed your mind about?

  55. The way lefties think is so different than the way I break things down that knowing about it makes me think things in a different way. It helps me troubleshoot my opinions. It also teaches me to consider other people’s outlook and opinions. Sometimes I even change my mind.

Me too. Really helps me analyze the weak spots in arguments L or R.

  56. Nobody has to twitter.

Leaving that dumpster fire was almost as good as leaving Facebook.

  57. What happened to Xbrad?

  58. I’ll check those out MJ.

    Darkhorse
    The Portal
    Waking up

Wait, are those podcasts or NPR shows?

  59. Comment by scott on June 25, 2020 9:28 am
    What happened to Xbrad?

    Prolapsed rectum.

  60. My husband joined facebook but it was a total dumpster fire indeed.

I would laugh so hard when he’d tell say, “so and so asked to be friends and I don’t know who they are and I don’t want to be friends with them.”

    And

“Why does this woman think I care about what she eats?”
    BWHAHAHAHAHA

  61. I think he joined because his Mom and FIVE sisters would say, join, you can see all the pics of your nephews.

    He hated it. hahahahahahahah

  62. Another funny comment:

“Who has time to post on facebook, comment, or care?”

    HAHAHAHA

Reliving this has made my morning.

  63. The specifics of my education told me exactly how the enemy thinks. I don’t need to wade into a toxic sewer for reminders.

  64. Wow, Flynn called into the Levin show also.

He’s grateful for their support. Man, this is a stand-up guy. This whole situation kills me.

Flynn was adamantly against the Iran deal. Payback from the leftist scum was the outcome.

    ——–

    This is what I think.

Whatever I think, I’m 100% sure the left thinks the opposite. I have yet to be wrong.

  66. Parler requires a phone number.

    Nope.

  67. My favorite Facedouche story is Vmax telling Rosetta that he doesn’t really do Facebook but somehow he ended up following someone named SOSCAT and Rosetta was dying laughing.

I didn’t tell either of them but that was me. I never posted (that I can remember) that was about 8 years ago.

I’m gonna need the executive summary

Gimme a 3 line summary on it by lunch and how this will affect the H2

  69. Scott, it says phone number or email. I just joined and did not give a number.

  70. Scott, I do know that was the hold up for most people wanting to join Parler.

  71. I don’t have FB, never signed up for it. I do have Instagram primarily to enter contests for free gear which I never seem to win which as I type makes me question the whole rationale for having it.

  72. I don’t get that option.

  73. Wait, are those podcasts or NPR shows?
    ——————-
    Podcasts

    Darkhorse = Brett Wienstein
    Portal = Eric Weinstein
    Waking Up = Sam Harris

  74. First

  75. Sam Harris the guy who strawmanned and misunderstood Aquinas so he could dunk on him for atheism? That Sam Harris?

  76. Sam Harris is an obtuse cunt. For someone who is lauded as a deep thinker, he can be pretty disingenuous.

  77. Okay, Sam Harris is out.

I’ve seen one of the Weinsteins, Eric, being interviewed by some British idiot and he was kind of incredible. It was concerning Jeffry Epstein.

    He didn’t pull any punches.https://tinyurl.com/y85wrs6m

You know I’m all in on conspiracy theories (that always ring true) and this kind of rounds out what I was thinking about Epstein. He was manufactured. I think he was used to get dirt on political figures. But he did use underage children to do it.

  78. I know that Jay, because he is a decent person, finds it hard to believe the crazy, like Pizzagate, however, spend a little time researching those who have been prosecuted for the NXIVM sex ring. FFS a supposedly successful starlet was pimping people. Tip of the iceberg.

  79. I can believe the people in Hollywood doing these things. Orchestrated from the top? Those people can’t find their ass with both hands.

  80. Epstein was an asset, the question is who was running him. We’ll never know that because they turned him into a verb.

  81. I find it hard to believe that someone like Sidney Powell who I think is entirely credible said this (linked below) and no one is doing a thorough investigation. This is only 53 seconds long:

  82. Those people can’t find their ass with both hands.

Hillary has not been prosecuted. You don’t have to be smart to get away with shit. You need the press and friendly government officials.

  83. so, is she talking about Weiner’s particular perversion, or a link between Weiner and Hillary and DOJ?

  84. She is talking about Hillary and Huma being monsters. You can probably find the whole press conference.

  85. what was the press conference for? That will make it easier to find.

  86. Coming up for air and then back to the sofa.

Scott, yes it was laparoscopexyz (only cause little sleep makes me bad speler)

Holes not big enough to lose OR equipment in…but big enough to stuff baggies full of ‘pharmaceuticals’. Noone asked if I was going to Europe in the near future, so don’t think I was chosen as a mule.

Most gas gone. That first night was a bish. Down 7 pounds.. Just remembered they gave me antibiotic in the OR, so that could be contributing to my testy intestines. Glad I bought some dairy-free ‘yogurt’. We’ll see if that helps.

Mr. B. has to help me shower. Yeah, I still ‘got it’. *touches rear and makes a sizzling sound* LOL

And to Teresa, our Teresa, a big hug and some prayers to you, my friend.

That would just about conclude the whole fucking experiment.

    Psssst…..it was a failure.

    What happened to Teresa??

  92. Who is the genius that made the decision to make MLK’s statue out of WHITE marble?

Paint it black or tear that shit down.

  93. And while we’re on the subject of correcting mistakes, black people aren’t black, they’re brown.

  94. according to AOC, brown people are black too.

  95. White marble hides bird crap better

  96. -shits on blog-

  97. No one would notice.

  98. Dear police departments: I’m available. Fuck these guys.

Honestly, there might be money there if this keeps up.

  99. All this crap today wouldn’t be happening of leaders were chosen through trial by combat. Just saying…

  100. That’s what comes next, Alex. That’s what always comes next.

  101. Trial by combat. Love that idea.

Mare, Teresa made a remark the other night to do with what that jackass Bubba did. She misses her daughter.

  102. Ahhhhh, Hugs to Teresa.

  103. Ok. Redoing laundry room. New floor. Painting walls. Gonna get rid of the green vomit formica using the countertop thing Lauraw did.

  117. The Cop-Free Homeless Heroin Park you turned your neighborhood into isn’t safe? Who could have predicted this?

    AOS is awesome

  118. Scott, XBrad posted about high blood pressure and alcohol.

  119. I just canceled an Amazon pre-order for a video game. Went to Overstock to see if they wanted my business, but they immediately informed me that Black Lives Matter.

Okiedokiethen, I’ll wait ’til Newegg has it in stock. Even if they’re throwing money at the marxists, they had the sense not to smack me in the face with it when I loaded the site.

  120. The Cop-Free Homeless Heroin Park you turned your neighborhood into isn’t safe? Who could have predicted this?

    AOS is awesome

But Reason assured me that laws against drug use and vagrancy were statist tools of the debbil!

  121. Lauraw, did we ever get finished kitchen pics??

  122. I watched some videos. It’s only a laundry room, so no sense getting carried away (and I do want it to look nice). Dirty pour. I’ll look that up.

  123. Geoff is right about the Herculoids. Gardens Of Stones is an excellent book and movie.

  124. Thundarr the Barbarian was better, but it was a decade later, so Geoff isn’t wrong.

  125. Pepe and I live in the worst state in the nation. I’m kind of crazy cool with our cop shootings. Our cops are indiscriminate with their shootings. White chick…boom

Raising rates. Time and a half for now, double time if it keeps up.

  135. Mask use here is strange.

In retail stores it is real close to 100%.

The moving company I rent space from has 50-100 employees and mask use is zero. We even shake hands there.

  139. I was on a 4 hour conference call while a team of me and people in far off places did/supervised a software upgrade. One of my coworker maskholes brought up a family in TX that had an in-person birthday party near Dallas. Found the story:

    https://www.dallasnews.com/news/public-health/2020/06/25/18-members-of-north-texas-family-test-positive-for-coronavirus-after-birthday-party/

The old folks getting sick is tragic, but this seems awfully convenient to the narrative, complete with family members doing “I told you so!”.

So I look up a bit, at the root:

    https://www.dallasnews.com/news/public-health/

Nothing about spiking infections due to the “protesters” in Dallas. Nope, just a story about this awful family get together and how tragic that they tested positive.

  140. New post up!! Move it, I put zero effort into it so I expect a lot of appreciation.
