Remember the young, innocent world before pandemic panic? Back when you could go to restaurants or the gym or get your hair cut without looking like you were going to rob the place or do an emergency tracheotomy?
MMM remembers. Here’s hoping a tiny bit of meme magic can help bring that back.

I should see if Eva is still active. Since Tumblr became… Tumblr, I haven’t looked around there much.

Pretty eyes.

Tasteful monochrome.

Motivational.

Happy Monday, y’all.

Raw potatoes are poisonous. You’re better off starving.
In honor of throwback mmm, I’m at the gym.
“Obsessed is just a word haters use to describe the dedicated.”
Try explaining that to the judge who issues the restraining order.
Pretty sure it’s been done. Probably without success, but I’d watch the recording of it for laughs.
Apparently the SCOMI came this close to calling Gruppenfueherin Whitler “hysterical”, which made me LOL in my utilikilt.
10/10 faire un smash

9/10 dentists would smash

hahahahaaha, you dicks are funny.
I really miss my Ann Arbor dentist. She was 5’2″ and could have been an MMM throwback model any day. Ditto for the hygenist.
Which reminds me, I need to change dentists. Current one is always trying to upsell me or get me to share things about them on social media and I haven’t actually seen the dentist himself in over a year.
Thanks, Leon!
Wake wakey.
Here’s my MSM headline for mask wearing at the grocery store:
MASK USAGE FALLS BY 510%; SOME SAY DEATH FOR ALL
Yesterday morning at Publix, local resident MJ noticed that mask wearing had fallen from 90% to about 70%. No one seemed to care. Everyone went about their business without any trouble.
The kids bagging groceries and collecting carts didn’t wear masks as much as the older employees which is sort of interesting.
Oh, and raspberries were BOGO which is nice cuz MJr eats a lot of those, he said.
One last thing. MJ noticed a couple – guy wasn’t wearing a mask but the woman was inside the store. They checked out at the same time, walked to their cars and it was only then that he noticed she was about 7/8 months pregnant. As he drove away he thought how excited they must be bringing home a baby, which was obviously their first.
How’d the protest in Lapeer go, Carin? Solve all problems?
Lost some sleep with gas that took forever to burp out. FML. My sleep patterns have been fucked ever since coronavacation.
Oh, shit, MJ’s talking in 3rd person.
The county my grocery store is in is still under a mask order from their dipshit health dept because South Bend is in the same county. I think they have <100 cases in a county that includes South Bend and Notre Dame, so of course the poor bagger at my grocery store still has to look prepped for surgery.
I am on the edge of another county, I might just shop there until this madness passes and we move on to the next. I'm really hoping for a good Satanic Panic like we had back in the 80's, but I don't think the culture is even capable of worrying about souls anymore.
I think Lapeer is now much less racist. White people congratulated themselves a LOT over their peaceful protest, so we’ve also got that going for us.
I need a shirt that says “I’m protesting racism” so people understand why I’m not wearing a mask.
“Your mask is doing as much to fight Wuhan Flu as my shirt is doing to fight racism.”
It’s a little long, but I like it.
Hayfield just south of us got mowed and is drying in windrows now. Morning breeze is bringing me the scent. Sublime.
That raised bed comes from a place of privilege.
/burns it down.
Maybe that can go on the back of my shirt?
“Just read the Minneapolis PD has been disbanded”
You need to abandon that source of news.

New Lincoln Project ad:
“All of the architects of the Iraq War think Donald Trump is unfit for office”
The city council passed a resolution doing so, but that’s not the last word on what happens to the Minneapolis PD. “Veto-proof majority” still means a veto can be written, and then they’d have to vote again to break it.
“All of the architects of the Iraq War think Donald Trump is unfit for office”
This is the most tone-deaf self-own I’ve seen in a while. Does anyone of good conscience still think the “Back To Baghdad” adventure was worth it?
Leon, that tweet was an indictment of Mattis, Bush, Powell, and all the other assholes who got us into the Iraq war without an end game.
It was about them, not Trump. I should have mentioned that.
This is the most tone-deaf self-own I’ve seen in a while. Does anyone of good conscience still think the “Back To Baghdad” adventure was worth it?
Yes.
Removing Saddam freed us from having to try and hold together a coalition to keep Iraq contained, demonstrated that the US was willing to strike at countries we perceived to be a threat (and led directly to Libya disarming), drew Iran into a costly proxy war which drained their resources and contributed to nearly toppling the regime in ’09 (and would have likely succeeded if Obama hadn’t fucked over the protesters), and reversed the military degradation of the 90s as well as gave a generation of military leaders valuable combat experience. Despite the ongoing civil problems, Iraq is stabilized and no longer a regional threat.
“Minneapolis (CNN) Nine members of the Minneapolis City Council on Sunday announced they intend to defund and dismantle the city’s police department”
Was there an actual vote?
W Family Theater
lauraW: I made more coffee but never pushed the button. Jeez. I’m beginning to understand why older people seemed so lame to me when I was younger.
scottW: Just you wait, we have so much more to look forward to.
You guys are missing the point. Mattis, Powell, Bush hate trump because he steps on their bullshit.
Was there an actual vote?
—————–
No but they have to do it now, don’t they? I really doubt someone would say, you know, maybe we should reconsider. Better to let the city be destroyed than question assumptions.
I’m actually for this experiment, btw. What if it works? That would be great. The death and destruction that might happen will be regrettable if it goes wrong but you know, omelets and eggs.
You guys are missing the point. Mattis, Powell, Bush hate trump because he steps on their bullshit.
Jesus fucking Christ, no we get that. Leon asked a direct question regarding Iraq and I answered that. I don’t give a damn about what Mattis, Powell, or Bush have to say about Trump because they don’t have any influence over the future. They’re old men who are bitter because their time has passed.
The death and destruction that might happen will be regrettable if it goes wrong but you know, omelets and eggs.
Why would it be regrettable?
And Eff George Bush. I don’t trust anything he had to do with. Anything.
Alex, calm down.
I think Mare said it better yesterday, but Bush didn’t say boo when Obama kneecapped the country, and now he’s all in for a pro-choice, pro-socialist, dementia patient. Get bent, George.
I just cannot believe anyone after the last week is giving a shit about COVID and wearing masks.
You can fool…
Bush was a competent administrator who tried to address a lot of the issues that we’re still dealing with, such as proposing social security reform, warning about the housing bubble, etc., but was too intertwined with the establishment. It limited his ability to see these people as the enemies they are.
I think Jay mentioned it a couple of days ago but Glenn Beck (think of him what you will, it’s probably deserved) went on an 18 minute rant that hits all the right notes.
(and would have likely succeeded if Obama hadn’t fucked over the protesters)
Mr. Muslim outreach.
It’s just ironic and shit how they trot these people out.
Alex, I take your points, but what did we get out of it that we wouldn’t have gotten out of a direct war with Iran or weren’t already getting out of the operations in Afghanistan?
Hooray for ropey abdominal veins! Yaaay!
All the news covering Romney marching with BLM. lulz
I respect your opinion, Alex.
Mine: Bush is a globalist POS and when you look at his policies from our position now it doesn’t paint him in a good light. He just loved himself some Obama. Trump who is doing more for everyone than anyone, not so much.
The Bush folks biggest mistake was not defending what they did – which was a TACTICAL mistake. More recently, Bush sucks because derangement has affected his brain.
Romney really has gone over the deep end. I’m not exactly sure who he’s pandering to or what he hopes to gain but it’s hard to imagine a conservative supporting him for anything.
Alex, I take your points, but what did we get out of it that we wouldn’t have gotten out of a direct war with Iran or weren’t already getting out of the operations in Afghanistan?
A direct war with Iran would have been a harder sell, both domestically and internationally, and would have been costlier, since they hadn’t been weakened in the same way Iraq was. Plus, our positions in Saudi Arabia and Turkey gave us a means to strike directly at Iraq while attacking Iran would have required either an invasion of southern Iraq, an invasion through Turkey (we saw how well that went in 2003), or a series of amphibious operations. Basically removing Saddam was the easier of the two options, and would likely have been required in order to neutralize threats to any supply lines into Iran anyways.
That said, I’m open to the argument that Iran would have been the better option, but at that point you’re no longer arguing “military adventures were a mistake!” and instead just debating which military adventure is the better option.
Operations in Afghanistan were, until 2008, fairly limited. We had some troops, SF, and were training the Afghanis, but didn’t have the huge commitment we had later. Arguably that surge in troops and money had a negative effect: we ended up causing more social harm than good.
Here’s a question for everyone:
How have we remained republicans when the party gave us George Fucking Bush, Bob Fucking Dole, George W. Fucking Bush, John Fucking McCain, and Mitt Fucking Romney?
And every one of those fuckers is disdainful of Donald Trump.
Well, except McCain and Bush, but they’re dead, thank God.
Old and busted: Refight the Civil War
New hotness: Refight Iraq
Tomorrow’s thing: Refight Minneapolis
So, have you guys seen how Crossfit is being destroyed by the virtue signalers?
Calm down, Carin.
How have we remained republicans when the party gave us George Fucking Bush, Bob Fucking Dole, George W. Fucking Bush, John Fucking McCain, and Mitt Fucking Romney?
I haven’t been a Republican since Rombley threw 2012. It’s just that the other alternatives are either delusional or demonic…
How is it being destroyed, Carin?
I thought virtue signalling was crossfit’s business model.
I haven’t been a Republican since Rombley threw 2012. It’s just that the other alternatives are either delusional or demonic…
——-
Can’t argue with that.
Affiliates were OUTRAGED that the founder/ceo hadn’t made a statement. @@. He apparently had to speak up about racism because reasons.
On saturday he tweeted “Floyed -19” in reference to the lockdowns /the affect on health and how folks had said racism is a public health issue.
@@
He’s lost 270 affiliates so far. The one in flint (I know the owners really well) proudly posted the removal of the words “crossfit” from their front.
Reebok has already severed ties. That was almost instantaneous.
The left ruins everything it touches. Everything.
Glassman is actually a pretty conservative guy, and often doesn’t give any fucks. Says what he wants.
He tried to explain (which is useless to do) that he wasn’t racist, he was just trying to make a point …
But the virtue signalers (and dumb jocks) have taken over. Crossfit must burn.
Yep. It’s all about destruction.
And why should we give a shit whether police get defunded in big cities?
Because when things go to hell all the good little liberals will bail for red areas and vote in the same idiots who turned the big cities to shit in the first place.
Big cities with nonexistent policing will export their problems. We already have issues here in Alabama with thugs from one city hitting the Interstate to cause trouble elsewhere. It’s creating a huge safe haven base for the worst elements.
Of course nothing will seriously be done about it because nobody has the fortitude for it. What’s likely to be required now is considered beyond the pale and would have a heavy cost.
Because when things go to hell all the good little liberals will bail for red areas and vote in the same idiots who turned the big cities to shit in the first place.
Been going on since the late 60s when good little liberals started busing our kids into shithole schools, and bussing unsocialized kids into ours.
Of course nothing will seriously be done about it because nobody has the fortitude for it. What’s likely to be required now is considered beyond the pale and would have a heavy cost.
Right. So let’s just get on with it.
Alex, calm down.
—————–
Yeah, relax.*
*no one, in the history of mankind has ever calmed down or relaxed when told to do so. True story: a deli owner told 18 year old Hitler to calm down when he complained that his matzo ball soup was cold.
MJ, “calm down” is a joke.
Not when we say it to Mare.
I thought we told Mare to calm her tits.
The last person who told Mare to calm her tits hasn’t been seen or heard from, and the FBI have given up the search.
moment of silence for Floyd, all dems kneeling except Nadler.
Must be his knees.
I can’t believe those two just took turns explaining ‘calm down’ to the rest of us.
True story: A lot of people used to tell Lucrezia Borgia to ‘calm down.’
I want to see them defund the police. That would be some seriously entertaining shit right there. No cops, no court, no court, no jail, no jail, no deterrence, no deterrence, = Mad Max.
We have the perfect anarchist storm. A self centered generation raised on Grand Theft Auto and post apocalyptic first person shooters. Like the rioters they’ll be living their video game fantasy in real life. Interesting times.
calm down, laura. If you want to know why, see here and here
hahaha, CNN poll has Biden up 14 points
the dems are all wearing sashes. What do they represent?
They look cute in their masks and sashes
My guess is that up until McCain, we actually won half of the elections.
But then the populist wing of the party won out and we got Trump.
The Dems are still fighting it out with their populist wing, which is why they’ll lose. They nominated an old corporate democrat trying to LARP as a progressive. How’d that work for Hillary?
MJ, “calm down” is a joke.
—————–
I know. Calm down, mare. My comment was also a joke.
True story: Lizzie Borden’s parents told her to calm down.
CNN needs to calm down.
I’m not joking.
Well shit, now I gotta go join crossfit.

Here’s a question for everyone:
How have we remained republicans…….
==========
Because the alternative is worse. I never vote “for” a politician, I just vote “against” the Lefties……
6.7 miles yesterday. 8:45 pace.
Someone needs to calm my IT band.
True story: I told MJr that my IT band was sore and asked him to push on it. He asked where his IT band was so I showed him, now he keeps telling us, ‘DON’T PUSH ON MY IT BAND!’ He’s seriously scared and cries a little. WTF? Kids are a mystery.
hear hear, pepe.
We don’t like the republicans. We don’t like the democrats more.
How have we remained republicans…….
I’m a pro-life reactionary nationalist with no party who votes as best I can.
ole schumer is a smooth talker. Pelosi used to be, but she’s going Biden.
When has lynching been an issue in the last 50 years? Floyd’s killing wasn’t a lynching, either. And it’s already illegal, they just want to make it a hate crime.
If George Floyd were white the same thing would probably have happened and no one would know his name.
They’d be rioting “over” something else instead, because the police-involved death has never been the point, the riots and race war are.
show us on the anger management puppet what the F an IT band is
Nice MJ. It must be a sight to behold too a short, 275 pound man run that fast!
I did 6 and a half miles on the trails yesterday, and my pace was MUCH slower. I am such a slow trail runner. Oh well. My pace was affected by 1) me not caring about when I start my watch 2) two LOOSE DOGS on the trail – a German Shepherd and brown lab (HOLY HELL did they scare the shit out of me and 3) my playing around with a 4:1 run walk scheme. One of the runners does it at a great pace. If your IT band is bugging, I suggest trying it in a few runs. The theory is that you’re not getting any muscles to tight and/or fatigued … the walk kind of releases everything. It’s a great training tool to get the miles in w/o causing injury.
I don’t think any of the H2 gals ought to ever have to calm both tits at once. Calm one of them if you must but the other one needs to be ready to throw down. I don’t have an opinion on the hump but it seems like we’d all be better off if it was calm.
Isn’t it interesting that every summer before a election we always have white on black racism problems and then after the election those problems disappear? I that’s a coinky dink right der.
Lot of tucking going on in that poat.
Are y’all done yelling or do you still need to calm down?

Yeah, it’s really ok but I’ve noticed if I just take a 30 second break it helps a lot. I’m just building miles right now so it’s not a big deal.
You’d think the sexually-obsessed lovers of science would be doing some modeling of that, but I’m yet to see it.
Jesse Kelly: I can’t stop laughing about leftists just now discovering that unions protect bad people.
The first comment, a picture of a die hard liberal trying to reply to a question they already have commented on, is perfect.
You looked at police unions, now do Education
Run/walk is a great way to build miles.
I bought a book I’m hoping to read soon about the history of astrology as Man’s first attempt at genuine data science, including the various rulers that took it as pretense for all sorts of dictates.
Seems relevant to our times.
When I hear “Floyd” all I think of is a farting bulldog and his balls.
I like looking back at history, and thinking of how people in the past explained things with magic. When you think of things like germs, and chemical processes, they aren’t far off the mark. They just lacked the ability to see some things.
Hahah, good one, will! That’s a great point.

The geocentric/heliocentric debate in astronomy is interesting. People like to pretend that it geocentrism was about religious nutters who hated science, but basically for several thousand years the geocentrics were the more scientifically sound models. Also, they were as accurate as the heliocentric models.
Fox just repeats itself over and over, just like everyone else. Even their alers.
It’s been pointed out to humorous effect that each one of Gallileo’s stances that the Church insisted he teach as theory rather than fact has since been proven false, or at least incomplete. Rather than “science vs faith” it was prudence vs headstrong ego.
Remember, he was asserting that the sun was the center of the universe.
I am the center of the universe.
He also believed that the Earth’s orbit caused the tides, that orbits were perfect circles (how could God create anything else?!) and other crackpottery.
Galileo was an asshole who burned the friendships he had with fellow astronomers as well as the church, got caught up in church politics, shot his mouth off regarding theology (which is what eventually drew the ire of the inquisition) and then discovered that his mouth was writing checks his data couldn’t cash. And he did it right in the midst of the Reformation and a little dust-up known as the Thirty-Years War. Even then the church basically told a seventy year old man which rheumatoid arthritis to spend the rest of his days in his seaside villa. Hardly a Terrible punishment.
I am the center of the universe.
You’re my wife’s titties? I knew there was a reason I liked you.
Is anyone else not looking forward to some meetings with family members, because of the recent race riots? Just me?
All my lefty family live in Portland, and I basically never see them.
My family is basically 100% simpatico.
Just a few younger nieces who live in Portland that are squishes, but that’s to be expected. It’ll change.
Family. Lol. Mine’s all more or less in the same ballpark as I am. At my nephew’s bday party yesterday. Lady was there with her 4yr old son. She’s apparently pretty liberal. My sis and her husband have Trump 2020 stuff all over. She doesn’t let her kid play with toy guns. My nephew is 8 and his stepbrothers are 13 and 7. The whole house is filled with dozens of nerf/pretend guns.
Little man spent the entire time he was there running around with at least one gun. I LOL’ed.
Raw potatoes are poisonous. You’re better off starving.
Are you telling me that my mother was trying to kill me my entire childhood?
This makes SO much sense
“Poisonous” might be overstating it, but basically they have a bunch of soap-like compounds (called saponins for that reason) that are de-natured and made safe by cooking. They block the absorption of other vital nutrients (like the ones in the potato) when consumed, and can harm your gut lining.
My government customer has “tentatively” set a date of mid-September for their return to the DC-area offices.
Fucking nutso bullshit, but at least I won’t have to travel until 2021 at the soonest.
Well, now I get why they’re fried and salted. Much better option.
Fucking nutso bullshit, but at least I won’t have to travel until 2021 at the soonest.
Well that’s kinda nice. I don’t hate that for you at all.
Little man spent the entire time he was there running around with at least one gun. I LOL’ed
That’s always my favorite and it drives the parent insane
So I know this guy, who is not me, who works for this other guy, also not my company, where the owner may possibly or not be addicted to the pain pills he takes for his back.
I don’t know what to tell this guy who is not me how to handle the outbursts, mood swings, facial tics and muscle spasms and Jeckyl and Hyde personalities he not me has to deal with.
How close is this guy who isn’t you to the company owner? Close enough to discuss the issue in any way?
the dems are all wearing sashes.
I want to know why that’s not cultural appropriation.
Pupster, your hypothetical guy should ask if hypothetical owner can hook him up.
Yeah Pupster, can you ask the guy to ask the owner to hook the hostages up?
We enjoy pain management.
On a side note, has the guy ever looked at his boss after an outburst and asked him if he needed a hug?
Has the guy ever told his boss to eat a bag of dicks?
So, here is a thing about junkies: they are uncooperative, demanding babies. They are stuck in a mental/physical feedback loop of “thought, craving, action, reward.” Because of this well-worn path in their brain, they can deny themselves nothing, they are short-tempered, and any delay in getting what they want makes them fucking crazy.
Not my least favorite customer, because I know how to deal with them now, but they are in the running.
I want to know why that’s not cultural appropriation.
ooooh, good point.
Is anyone else not looking forward to some meetings with family members, because of the recent race riots? Just me?
Even the ‘rats in my family thought the lockdown was bullshit. Pretty sure I know what they think of Floyd and the rioting. Pretty sure they’ll keep voting dem because it’s not their policies that turn every city they run to shit. They blame it all on the *insert racist slang here*.
Has the guy ever told his boss to eat a bag of dicks?
Good call. That’s probably high in protein and protein is very good for leveling blood sugars….probably not for a pain pill addict, but maybe if this guy you know gets him to switch to being say, a type 2 diabetic instead an addict protein might do the trick.
Then all will be right in the world.
See? Problem solved.
Because of this well-worn path in their brain, they can deny themselves nothing, they are short-tempered, and any delay in getting what they want makes them fucking crazy
Soo unfortunately, like my nephew who will be forever 14 years old, there’s not much that can be done is there?

It goes for any drug: heroin, pornography, validation on social media…
I’m guessing it’s not cultural appropriation because the CBC gifted them to them. And because they’re Democrats. Mostly the second.
Soo unfortunately, like my nephew who will be forever 14 years old, there’s not much that can be done is there?
Not unless they’re willing to put in the work and endure the unpleasantness of getting clean.
Dealing with addicts is tough. And at what point they’re at in their addiction makes a difference. If the guy is at the point where there are noticeable physical indicators, obvious ones, that’s obv really not good.
Sadly, not pupster, there is nothing to be done except imagine a tiny little MJ dangling from one of Gretchen Whitmer’s nips while trying not to laugh.
How bad do his hands shake?
Cuz my father law could be a fucking paint mixer.
Cuz my father law could be a fucking paint mixer.
Should I feel bad about how hard I laughed at that?
no
Cuz my father law could be a fucking paint mixer.
Do you hear the sound of the metal ball in the can as he’s speaking? I bet you will now.
We got a new (to us) truck in April. Penelope called to MVD to make sure they were open so we could register it.
Pen: Are you open?
MVD: Sure
Pen: Drives 35 miles to the MVD office. “Closed”.
Calls MVD
Pen: I just called and you said you were open, but the office is closed.
MVD: Oh, we’re not “open” open , just online.
Pen: I need to register a truck.
MVD: We can’t do that online, you have to come in…..
Pen: ???
MVD: Try again in a few weeks and see when we are open.
NM finally opens MVD.
Pen: Calls last week and makes an appointment for this morning.
Pen: Calls this morning to verify.
MVD: I’m glad you called, we’re overbooked and can’t take care of it today. I can reschedule.
Pen: Okay, when can I bring it in?
MVD: August 11, tentatively.
Pen: ??? August?
MVD: Yes, that’s what they said to make it for.
Pen: August????
MVD: Try again in a few weeks, maybe we can work you in….
Freaking New Mexico……
I need to calm down.
Some woman at Sam’s club with a mask said to me, “You know, we’ve had a spike in COVID cases!”
I told her to stay home if she was scared.
It goes for any drug: heroin, pornography, validation on social media…
Pornography?
Ok yeah, no…You can back the eff off now. Pornography isn’t an addiction, it’s a way of life. Me and my ottoman, we go way back.
My understanding from very far away is the instability and volatility is difficult for this guy I know to deal with, like is he going to get the “happily handing out unexpected bonuses” boss or the “why are you asking questions just read my mind and leave me alone” boss.
It’s an addiction, PJ. Your brain doesn’t know it from opioids in many respects.
Says the chick who instituted the no-nip rule.
hahahahaha, I love this place.
My telling MJ “calm down” is a joke, made him say his was a joke too.
hahahahaha We are so stupid, it’s awesome.
Addicts do get clean sometimes. It is very difficult but they need to be introspective enough to understand that the plasticity of the brain which creates these feedback loops in the first place, is the same process that can also gradually undo them. The script is never overwritten completely, but enough to be able to resist the cravings for a long time or for life. There is hope.
Pupster, your friend should learn his boss’s favorite cookie and always have one handy. Addicts are usually bad at managing impulsive desires and the cookie may distract him or alter his mood.
The guys seem pretty upset about not seeing nipples.
Eff BLM, we need to be protesting about freeing the nipples…like the fat, ugly feminists do.
Says the chick who instituted the no-nip rule.
I didn’t institute the rule…you guys decided it was good compromise cuz otherwise you were gonna get hairy balls posts and no one seemed to want that. What’s fair is fair.
I’ve really been wanting to move back to FL lately. We’re planning on moving in a year so…
Cuz my father law could be a fucking paint mixer.
ahahahaha
A buddy keeps suggesting that I move to Tampa.
I’m cool with hairy nuts on hotspur’s chin.
That was the deal right?
I’ve really been wanting to move back to FL lately. We’re planning on moving in a year so…
*cough* NE Florida *cough*
I have a gardening book to recommend if you go.
I can’t live in FL, so good luck.
The beaches are better on the gulf side. The fishing and cost of living are good too. Do some research but Martin County is the best county in Florida in my opinion. It’s on the Atlantic side but it’s a wealthy county, a conservative county and it’s north enough to stay out of the southern FL garbage. North of Martin is St. Lucie county and it’s not nearly as nice as Martin.
I live in Pinellas and the beaches are great, however, it’s a mixed bag here you could have a beautiful neighborhood and a couple of blocks away it’s…not so good.
St. Augustine is of course historical but it’s a very “up and coming place.” This generally means young people are moving there because it’s neat and it will be ruined shortly.
Bcock, aren’t you near Jacksonville?
I live in Pinellas and the beaches are great, however, it’s a mixed bag here you could have a beautiful neighborhood and a couple of blocks away it’s…not so good.
————————
I lived in Pinellas for 10 years you dipfuck. Just over the bridge in Feather Sound.
We’re looking a bit north. Perhaps Westchase.
I have never heard of Feather Sound. I thought you were in Tampa so calm your balls, dick.
Never heard of Westchase either.
damn, it’s hard to find testing results from FL
Just how healthy is the NE FL economy, anyway? Because I’m seriously ready to bail from the MTG if it means I can finally make enough for a decent living without begging for help on a monthly basis.
My good friend Jeff was the city manager of St. Pete Beach for many years. HotBride was the zoning enforcement officer back then.
I couldn’t live in Florida.
Ahhhhh, looked it up Feather Sound is near Weedon Park. We have kayaked there many times. Done that kayak ride through the mangroves.
your testing totals are a LOT lower (~5%) than Iowas (~11%), half of what we have. Percentage is rising slightly, hardly a spike though.
I would love to live in the Destin area. Really pretty!
Bcock, aren’t you near Jacksonville?
Work in Jax, live about 35 minutes north of there in Fernandina Beach.
Just how healthy is the NE FL economy, anyway?
It generally weathers downturns better than the national average. Amazon is opening a big distribution place here. There’s been a concerted effort to draw bigger companies/employers to the area. LOT of construction about to happen in the downtown Riverfront area of Jax.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m incredibly healthy or have a decent ability to see the rational or a shit ton of common sense, but I don’t give a shit about COVID and never have. I’ve never worn gloves, a mask (except that one embarrassing time in Costco) and I went to every store that was opened from the start and touched all the things. COVID is bullshit unless you are sick, VERY old or immunocompromised. I read somewhere the average age for COVID death in one area was 81.
EIGHTY-ONE!!!! Shit, men aren’t even supposed to live that long on the insurance charts.
gonna watch the WH press briefing. Kayleigh really lays it out there
Unless it’s changed in the last week, no one 25 or under has died in Florida from Teh Corona.
The 26 year old? Alcoholic Cardiomyopathy.
Kayleigh really lays it out there
If only.
Jacksonville is definitely upping their game.
Alex, we use to travel a lot so an airport was important to us. When we lived in Martin County West Palm Beach airport was expensive because it was smaller. Vero Beach is beautiful but stinks because you often have to go to Orlando for decent flight prices and picking up guests.
Tampa airport is excellent. Beautiful, clean, easy to get around and is about 24 minutes without traffic from our door to parking.
I kinda miss Jacksonville, loved being so close to the beach and also actually having weather. Thunder and lightning…very exciting. I’ve been back in San Diego County since 2008. Time flies.
haha, now the WH used Chemical Munitions on peaceful protestors.
I hear there’ll be cheap housing in Minneapolis soon.
Does Pupsters definitely not boss “know” he has a problem? Alot of them on scripts dont realize they even have a problem. Know the guys Drs name? Get it, call the office and drop dime on him.
I think PJM lived in St. Lucie.

lolol
Oh, Jacksonville. Gotcha.
Oh look, the NYT is lying again: https://bongino.com/spokesman-for-george-w-bush-says-nyt-story-claiming-he-wont-vote-for-trump-is-bogus/

Oh, Jacksonville. Gotcha.
hahaha
Oh look, the NYT is lying again:
When you say “again” that implies they stopped at one point
So, I need to wear a mask at work. The plague mask is a no-go, but I found this:

Brain plasticity sounds fake. Like kohlrabi.
Well, shoot, now I have to apologize to George Bush.
Don’t apologize. He’s still a cunt.
Carin, that mask is freaking amazing!!
Mare, the NYT and drudgereport need to apologize. I don’t know what happened to Drudge, but he’s just not the same as he used to be…I understand shitty, clickbait headlines make you wanna click and get him more money..but damn if some of this stuff isn’t outright lies.
Drudge had that NYTs thing running front page on his site
I know! I have to wait 2 weeks for it to get here, but it’s going to be worth it.
PJ, it isn’t Matt Drudge’s site anymore. He sold out.
Don’t click on it.
You’ll still have to wear maks in 2 weeks????
Michigan’s public places won’t be free of them until Whitmer leaves office, Mare. As punishment for how we’ve all disappointed her.
We need to be better.
As a server, yes. Who knows how long this will go on.
Until enough people ignore unlawful orders, all restaurants and salons/barbers die under pressure, or the bitch leaves office. Whichever comes first.
amazon is “happy to lose” customers who oppose their support of BLM
I’d drop them in a heartbeat if they weren’t the only access to some content for my kid. I really need to find a way to decouple from those assholes.
I don’t think we are going to be able to avoid all companies that link with BLM, moving forward. This is being rammed through, and it isn’t the government doing it. It’s society.
You can’t avoid them all, but you can make some adjustments. I’ll probably keep Prime, since it’s the only entertainment service left, but I’m going to try and avoid buying too much from Amazon unless I can’t find it locally at all. I’ll pay a bit more for a local store.
I have never heard of Feather Sound. I thought you were in Tampa so calm your balls, dick.
—————————–
Look fat, why don’t you chill out and understand that Tampa means Tampa Bay, as in the whole area. Jeez. Plus it’s not like I wanted you dicks knowing where I lived.
Twatter SJWs and LinkedIn virtue signallers aren’t society, Jay, they are barely even people. If they all got on ship 2 to the new Earth we wouldn’t miss them.
Social media is pure cancer. It give voice to the worst instincts people have.
I live at 438 W. 116th st. Apt 2a NYNY
Least, my childhood lives there
I didn’t see that comment on Twitter. I saw it on Fox News. This is outside of SJWs now.
“We’re planning on moving in a year so…”
There is something wrong with you.
Fox News is just an extension of Twitter. Prove me wrong.
There is something wrong with you.

Correct
Oh man. The video of all the democrats in African scarves kneeling is almost as cringy as the hot sauce in my purse thing or Biden telling black people they aren’t black.
Hey I have an idea. Why not just treat people as individuals?
I know. Crazy.

Isn’t it interesting that every summer before a election we always have white on black racism problems and then after the election those problems disappear? I that’s a coinky dink right der

I saw a tweet last week, maybe from Candace Owen, looking at mentions of Black Lives Matter. Spikes in 2016 and 2020 with crickets inbetween. Ain’t no coinky dink der
They are going to ruin football again.
Bets on a spike in covid in 2 weeks?
They are going to ruin college football too. Colin Kaepernick will be revered as a hero, and we will be able to say 0 about it.
Get ready for a lot of kneeling.
my bet is no. It’s done.
I had thought it would be ruined by corona-crap but even if it was able to go off without a hitch it’s going to be a race to see who the biggest virtue signaler will be.
I was looking forward to the dual excitement of Tompa Bay and the fortunes of the now Brady-less Patriots. I’m now a bit skeptical. Which means no more staying up if a late night game happens on a school night
Barefeet in the gym gives me the Willies.
Your mom loves the willies.
Suck it up troop
I’m with Freematt. High heels required.
Houseguest was given a Lincoln MKZ Sedan. Nice looking car.
It’s a 2010, but it looks brand new and only has 50000 miles on it.
Huge step up from the jalopy she was driving.
I walk and lift A Lot at work. My arms and legs have atrophied after I turned 55. Disgusting. I need to CrossFit or lift.
How’s quarantine treating you Oso?
I’m sure you mentioned it but is this all because you had a fever?
I love MKZs. A couple of jobs ago I got upgraded to a MKZ from a standard rental car, it was a great cruiser. It had a lot of gadgets, one button looked like windshield wipers but it wasn’t, I kept switching it on and off while I was driving and heard a noise but couldn’t tell what was happening until I looked in the rear view mirror…electric sun shades for the back window!

Hahahahahaha.
Excuse me, my negro friend that I’ve known my whole life and didn’t rent this morning, where shall we go to dine on some *looks at notes* chicken and waffles?
Lincolns are really nice cars. Love the new sedan. She’s lucky, sort of.
Do you have hot sauce in your purse? IF you really want to be authentic, I’ve heard that’s what you do.
I didn’t have a fever. Nausea from allergies. Cramps from mask dehydration. TMI diarrhea from mucus draining into my GI tract. My temperature was 97.7 which is high for me. I’m so tired of quarantine. If I go out to a restaurant or church, I don’t get paid. I haven’t heard from the HR outsource yet. I want to work.
I am surprised by the tech in it. 2010 seems early for bluetooth and onboard navigation.
Biden must really be having issues with black folks. I’ve read a little bit about it but it must be young black folks and their white allies too.
He’s uber fucked if that’s the case.
I am surprised by the tech in it. 2010 seems early for bluetooth and onboard navigation.

Yeah, it is. Some really high end luxury cars had it as options but not necessarily standard.
For the money, Lincoln has huge HP, awesome design, and great tech. They just suffer from legacy perception.
The Navigator is basically a post apocalyptic war machine.
We no longer have HR. Still waiting for my review. Pepe is the way. He understands the BS that is NM.

Mom?
We recently received our registration for our new car.
If you find a willing doctor you can get a mask exemption. The only problem with that is dealing with all the scolds who want to mask shame you
Family member was telling us to get our free Government money.
“Every small business owner is getting unemployment plus $600 a week, even if they weren’t closed down.”
Free money!
No thanks.
I have a feeling those people might be getting screwed come tax time.
You collect and you show no loss of income? They will want that money back plus interest and penalties.
I wouldn’t put it past them.
I was in two businesses today that had signs on the door demanding customers wear masks.
Neither one asked me to leave.
I don’t have to wear a mask, Mare said so.
If covid kills me it’s her fault.
Jimbro, one of my Dr Cousins offered to fight the mask. WM outsourcing to a different company. I submitted my claim on Wednesday. Ready to go back to work. Still waiting.
You collect and you show no loss of income? They will want that money back plus interest and penalties.
That would suck. My guy is a small business owner…will be curious to see how this goes down
Don’t fuck with the Feds.
I was honestly nervous when his company took the money…but, it’s none of my business
He’ll probably be fine, but he needs some mafia contacts.
They are easier to deal with.
Speaking of mafia contacts, Unclefacts reported that Antifa is doxxing Pagan motorcycle club members and that he is stocking up on popcorn.
I had to look up Pagans. I’d heard of Hell’s Angels.
Thinking about Florida – my nephew’s wife was terrified that Gov. Kemp was going to kill all of Georgia with his reckless reopening of businesses. Complained that the grocery delivery services were booked up. Stay home, stay home, stay home. I guess she got over it because they spent the weekend at the Orlando theme parks.
Wow, I’m glad they recovered in time for vacation.
So the local ABC affiliate in DFW was doing an informal punch-in poll today – should the police be defunded or not?
At the top of the 6 o’clock hour, it was running 10% in favor of defunding and 90% against.
By the end of the broadcast – when the taxpaying, working audience got home and turned on their TV – it had gone to 4% for and 96% “Aw, Hell No”.
The (liberal black) newsreader seemed shocked by the results.
Been lurking a bit.
Trying to see if the fam can hang together when I never leave.
We’re doing good.
Out
shooting a lot. I still sick at trap.
Regarding the current stupid, I just make sure I always carry.
Guardsmen “Take a knee’ at Kent State.
The M-79 was fun…
We got a new shih-tzu puppy.Winston is rounding into shape.
That kneeling Africa cosplay by the demoncrat congress impressed who?
The media?
Their chiropractors?
Pelosi could not even get up, without help…
Declaring, “Egads!” Randolph perished.
