  1. Fine set of memes you got here. Be a shame if anything happened to them.

  2. One of my friends works overnight and emailed me about riots across the country. I’m delaying reading about what has certainly transformed from a spontaneous protest about a reckless cop and a dead guy to an organized resistance movement against Trump that they’ve just been looking for an excuse to launch.

  3. wakey wakey

  4. Carin, clamping down on the carotid arteries in the neck will kill you and not be a technical ‘death by asphyxiation,’ since you may still breathe.

I was just linking the article.

  5. CNN getting trashed is funny though.

Anarchy. Fucking losers. I was watching last night , and I told Pat (because I can talk like this to him) that if someone just dropped a bomb on those fucking kids, we would be better off.

And – you can notice that the crowd isn’t all black. These are the fucking progressive antifa idiot kids.

    Nailed it.
    Well funded and well-coordinated.

  9. Interesting.

Just when the malaise of the lockdown was wearing off we have a COUNTRY-wide protest.

WTF are they protesting? I wonder if there is some kind of tax write off CNN had been hoping for?

  10. FREE DIRT

  11. I didn’t have a lot of time to put together the weekend meme poats this week, I was on the road.

I hope JAM2 follows through with a monkey loose in the lab story.

  12. Free dirt was good.

  13. Where’s MJ? He sleeping in after a late night of rioting? Should we take up some $$ for bail ?

  14. I bet someone already got the free dirt, dangit.

I’ve got some enormous grass clippings piles in the yard. Might try to rake and pile them on the “field” area that wasn’t plantable because of the access road as a compost heap.

  15. I’ve been putting the grass clippings on tops of a weedy area I want to suppress.

  16. Calm down, Carin.

Back to work today, after a week off. Another nice aspect of my job is that after a vacation, I don’t have a pile of built-up work waiting for me.

  17. Alex sent me to an Instagram page that is changing my life. Most of the instagram models are pretty cryptic with the meat world statistics so I’m going to spend far more time extrapolating what I used to cut and paste with ease. Pray for Pupster.

  18. Neighbor guy came over to tell Scott something and Scott asked him if he had a trencher, and long story short, the guy is gonna cut the tree roots that are invading two sides of my garden today. YAYYYY!!

  19. My favorite local sports-bar is open again, I’m not sure what they are showing on the big screens but I’m going to find out tomorrow.

I’ve been going back in the H2 time capsule making sure I don’t repeat models, and I’ve got to say that y’all are some funny fuckers.

Also mulch comes up A LOT.

  20. That neighbor guy is gonna get some strawberries and sugarsnaps, for sure.

  21. Sometimes I go back in there and laugh, but then I get mad at Rosetta again.

  22. I’m glad you have a nice, heavy equipment owning, non-crazy lady neighbor now Lauraw. I love watching big machines operate, coincidentally so does your mom.

  23. I AM CALM

Busy morning here. Electrician here to get our hottub working. Kids coming up. Smoking a big ole piece of pork. I got 10 yards of mulch delivered on Thursday and after two days of spreading mulch the pile is only about 8 yards.

Reworking my flower garden. Post up on facedouche to give some of the stuff I dug out away. I have stuff to plant.

    So MUCH TO DO.

  24. one of my friends – they bought a house maybe two years ago, and have done a ton of work and improvement. Inside, outside. So, they’d be a good neighbor to have – improve the looks of things.

Well, the 70 y/o next door neighbor and her MOTHER – want her to take down the bird feeder. Because the mom (supposedly) is afraid of the birds, and they shit on her deck, and (there is something else …) OH RIGHT, she’d going to die because of the birds.

The shit she’s written on my friends facebook page – it would be funny if you didn’t know she was being serious.

  25. I love birds but feeders just cause trouble.

    FORAGE you lazy fuckers.

  26. The Brown Thrasher Gang has supplanted the mockingbird family that used to hang in my backyard.

  27. Roving gangs of Thrashers are scary. They look badass and followthrough.

    Mockingbirds only talk tough.

  28. Back to work today, after a week off. Another nice aspect of my job is that after a vacation, I don’t have a pile of built-up work waiting for me.

Wait ’til you see that pile of bedpans waiting for you.

  29. Box break down (saved that one for later), my internal organs, and M&M’s without the kids seeing. Thanks, Pupster.

MMB goes home today. He’s been a good guest. Today I have housework, hopefully a SpaceX launch, and a movie night on my own (D&D for the rest of the fam).

  30. Lol, you have some old fashioned ideas about nursing, HS.

I had just read that article before clicking back here and reading Troy’s comment. Here’s an email I sent in reply to a friend this morning:

“I was thinking that they’ve been primed for the inevitable warm weather/election year “protests” (aka riots) but the pandemic held them back. Not for any reasons of safety but rather the appearance of being on the wrong side of the current issue of social distancing. I think the guy in GA would have been the spark that lit it off if it were not for the pandemic. All these protests will soon render moot all the Blue state governors pleas to stay shut down.”

  33. Pups,
I found out the hard way that mocking birds are a good indicator of what neighborhood you should not live in.

When all the mockingbirds songs are car alarms it is probably not the best place to live. The better they imitate the alarms the worse the neighborhood.

  34. I’d pay a lot of money to live in a neighborhood where the mockingbirds imitated the sound of meat smoking, cornhole bags hitting their target hole and your mom

  35. This is for Pups too, I came across this guy yesterday and liked his work so much I bought the entire catalog

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-HdorsEP3A&list=RDq-HdorsEP3A&start_radio=1

  36. Heh Jimbro
Do they live that far north? I haven’t heard any car alarms here, so I am not sure if there are no birds or I am in a good neighborhood

  37. Oh not only does Justin Johnson make awesome blues music, he makes guitars out of the strangest things (and they sound good!) like shovels, cigar boxes, whiskey barrel wood, and I don’t know what else.
In one video he had a 1 string bass that was interesting

  38. What about the sound of hitting your mom’s cornhole?

    I denounce myself.

  39. I used to feed the birds but now I just have two little saucers of water out for them to bathe in. I am willing to freshen up the water daily or more often, because their antics entertain me. If they want to eat in my yard, EAT A BUG.

There’s a Baltimore Oriole taking baths in there occasionally now, and I love him. I hope he tells his wife about my good bathtubs.

One of these days I have to put out more saucers. The more the merrier. I had a giant foam cooler lid out there one year and it was a total bird pool party by the end of Summer.

  40. My body, my cornhole.

  42. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Northern_Mockingbird/maps-range

We’re in the breeding range of the Northern Mockingbird I guess

  43. Grey Catbirds are also mockingbirds, but they do a limited amount of actual mocking. Most of the time they sit in the holly bushes and burble like R2D2 or make their signature ‘cat’ sound. Sometimes I’ll hear one doing a shitty rendition of some other bird’s song. It’s pretty funny. This one time I laughed out loud when a catbird was imitating a Bluejay. It sounded like a terribly weak Bluejay with a bad cold.

  44. Laura my dad loved birds too and fed a lot. he was going to get a solar powered bird fountain. bet that would be fun to add to your saucer regimen

  45. I have seen those and did think about it, J’Ames, but then I realized I would be spending money on birds, hahahaa, nyooop. Just another nice thing for them to poop on.

My little gardening friend is trying to lure more birds to her yard with inkberry and other wild bird plantings. I’m like, you go on ahead and enjoy the purple shits all over your deck and windowledges. Nah. Just give the dirty featherheads some water and keep it clean, they’ll show up.

  46. oh come on a bird shower has to be worth a couple sheckles

  47. Still have everything on my to-do list to do – spent the morning calling people who didn’t send in their RSVPs. One of my aunts, God bless her, had me on the phone for an hour and a half. She’s lonely. She’s also telling some fantastic tales, including that otters ate one of her cows and that her great-granddaughter is training military dogs in Germany. As best as I know, the oldest great-granddaughter is 11 and lives in Jacksonville. There might be a stepkid I don’t know. I tried to ask who but had difficulty getting in a word edgewise.

Osage orange. We’ve got several on our property, at the farm. Like Thermadin said, it’s a really hard wood. Made for great fence posts, back in the day.

  54. Haven’t looked for the full story yet because still going thru poat, but Mr. B said the thug shit has hit St. Louis. Some guy got killed last night by a FedEx truck. Double trailer, dumb f*cker was between them…I’m guess trying to break into the one. Got ran over as the truck was trying to get the hell out of there.

  55. I heard a couple of black ladies (they were the hosts) on a local radio talk show while I was in the car today.

One lady actually said: “I didn’t have 12 hours of labor with one boy and 8 hours of labor with another to have them be killed.”

Huh, well, I’d hazard a guess no woman wants their child (no matter how thuggish, white or black) to be killed.

    Idiot.

  56. The likelihood of one of my children being killed by a black person is higher than her child dying from a policeman.

What I’m irritated about is not that a policeman performed poorly and a person died who probably didn’t have to, it’s that the black community is once again being manipulated and used for other agendas. It’s horrible. That’s racism.

  57. Just when the malaise of the lockdown was wearing off we have a COUNTRY-wide protest.

Well, Soros did come out a couple of weeks ago to say that now is the time for revolution. Kinda like he funded in Ferguson and Baltimore.

  59. Made no churn vanilla ice cream with a couple tablespoons of browned butter added in. This may have been a very delicious mistake.

  60. Have you guys seen the video of a huge black woman punching a white cop twice then a black cop comes up behind her and punches her and she goes down?

I think she’s faking a bit for the cameras but I enjoyed seeing that fat bitch hit the ground.

Imagine what policemen go through. Yikes.

You can’t even tell I’ve put on the Covid-19, can you?

  75. These memes are awesome. I have been spamming the hell out of my family with them

  76. Maybe you ought to spam the hell out of us more than once in a blue moon.

  77. Hi hotspur!!! <3 <3 <3

  78. Ok. Going to Home Depot….I will come right back and spam the hell out of you…I’m even gonna leave this page up so I can see it when I get back.
I expect a 10 page or more report from each of you IN detail about what has been going on in your lives for the past, oh, 8 years so I can read it when I return.
    Ready?
    GO!!!!!!!!!

  79. Nice tweet from Christopher Ferguson, commander of STS-135, that he happily yields the title of “last commander of an American launched spacecraft” to Doug Hurley.

  80. Yawn

Nice memes. Time for another beer.

  81. I’m not a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV, but I would think that you can’t charge the MN cop with first-degree murder and it is not some miscarriage of justice to not charge him thusly. First degree is “I’m deliberately going to kill this person right now”, not “whoops, should have taken my knee off his neck sooner.”

  82. the only thing that would satisfy some is 4 public executions

  83. If we publicly execute that one cop, then we should also publicly execute demrat governors for killing thousands of elderly peoples in nursing homes.

  84. Are they still reporting that the 2 light Infantry Divs are on alert?

  85. Great launch and PJM too!!

  86. PJ, 10 years ago next month you and I sat at that pool in CT while I tried not to look at your cleavage.

    Time flies.

  87. I was a coward and watched the Launch on delay. Great work, Romacita.

  88. Thanks V!

  89. Beasn…that’s not a bad idea.
Pretty sure the hairgel in Newsom’s mane would serve as neck armor though

  90. Hair gel is flammable.

  91. I can’t decide if I like Baltimore woman punching and getting punched or Dallas cops tear gassing a car with the woman in it. Watching WH protests, now.

  92. I kicked ass today. Put in 9 hours, fueled entirely by coffee and two Pop-Tarts.

  93. Mr. Science, Ft Drum is the division I heard is on alert. They are light infantry, but isn’t the military police the division they would call up?

  94. Pop Tarts, moving America since…

    scott started moving.

  95. I find Pop Tarts to produce the opposite of “movement” IYKWIM.

  96. If we publicly execute that one cop, then we should also publicly execute demrat governors for killing thousands of elderly peoples in nursing homes.

At the very least, Cuomo, Wolf, Whitmer, and Pritzker should be indicted for manslaughter and tied up in trial proceedings until they leave office.

  97. What are the odds that they’ll try to put pressure on the organizers of these riots? They can find the people who are behind all the Antifa assholes and arrest them, they just need the political will.

  98. I’d put those odds at “low”.

  99. Residents of the towns being burned may step up and run the thugs off.

That probably has a better chance.

  100. Aren’t LA and NY supposed to be under lockdown?

  101. They can find the people who are behind all the Antifa assholes and arrest them

    We have snipers, don’t we?

CIA might as well earn their horrible reputation.

  102. on fox: This remains a peaceful standoff

as 3 people are standing on the burnt hulk of a car in the middle of the road, surrounded by police. Who sit and watch the 3 people.

  103. You guys, you need to watch Chris Wallace on Sunday. He’s got Keith Ellison on!

I’m sure that’s gonna be not watch TV

  104. Keith Ellison is a one-man argument for a return to the Papal States.

  105. I honestly think if there were leaders at this point, you would see PDT reaching out to them. But he isn’t going to talk the the NY based hucksters because he knows they are powerless and only in it for visibility and money-raising.

Someone posted a link to a thread on twitter talking about how the average White Supremacist is elementally unable to keep his or her mouth shut and be covert. They Periscope/MeWe the whole thing they are doing and can be found out usually by geolocating with their broadcasts.

  107. Columbus is under curfew from 10pm to 6am.

  108. I’ve heard it from supposed former Satanists that the average ‘Hail Satan!” loser is just an embarrassment. The really good satanists have high lay and even ordained positions in Christian churches, particularly Baptist and Catholic.

It stands to reason that the best and brightest of White Supremacy run the DNC and the SPLC.

  109. I’m a single dad from Tues-Sun if you want to come hang out and work from my office while I try to get Possum to read and do arithmetic. Elkhart, IN is nearby and basically back to normal.

Or you could go crash at Carin’s, but I have better bandwidth.

  110. better bandwidth.

And less of a mulch pile to spread

  111. Less newfies.

  112. Newfies win over bandwidth.

  113. I know where Elkhart is. We might have lunch if I go visit my brother in Ft Wayne.

  114. I’ve got Benny and Donatello.

  115. I heard Fort Carson too. Which isn’t light infantry…but I doubt they will be rolling Brads down First Avenue.

  116. Friend of ours is in Salt Lake City, with his daughter. Few blocks over from where they’re at, thugs are burning cars. National Guard is supposed to be called in. Friend says he’s only got one gun and 35 rounds on his person.

Do you think most normal people are looking at this, pumping their arms in the air in solidarity with the burnings? Or shaking their heads, stereotypes being confirmed?

  117. I heard Fort Carson too. Which isn’t light infantry…but I doubt they will be rolling Brads down First Avenue.

We could only dream of such and occurance.

  118. I heard Fort Carson too. Which isn’t light infantry…but I doubt they will be rolling Brads down First Avenue.

    Sorry XbradTC…

  119. Do you think most normal people are looking at this, pumping their arms in the air in solidarity with the burnings? Or shaking their heads, stereotypes being confirmed?

I think at this rate by Monday night every news report is going to end with, “I’m Donald Trump, and I approved this message!”

  120. Elkhart is about 20 minutes SE of me, and they aren’t under a mask order anymore. Wife’s been going to her gym there rather than Granger because St Joseph county’s un-health department has ordered masks in grocery stores and basically kept restaurants closed other than drive-through.

    I blame South Bend.

  121. Hot tub project all day. Electrician arrived at 8 am this morning. He did a phenomenal job. I filled the tub (three hours) and then crossed my fingers as I started it up (it’s been sitting there for … 5 years maybe)? YEA it works! Temp started at 47. We’re up to 78.

  122. So, Leon has bandwidth, but I now have a hot tub.

And the beer trees are growing nicely.

  123. But the mulch pile is still significant.

I’m going to be spreading mulch all summer.

  124. Your swinger-cult friends will really like that.

Erin’s dedicated herself to the single life.

Have the two of you picked out a nunnery for her yet?

  130. We’re rewatching MCU. APD is still under DOJ watch. Farce. I was afraid to go to a Trump Rally in ABQ in 2016. Cops allowed Antifa to go wild. Most recent Trump Rally was in Rio Rancho. We had to work. RR police are crazy. They enforce traffic violations. Enforce speed limits. Tint laws.

  131. I’d pay someone who could get her away from her commie boyfriend. Plus, its looking like she’s heading to Med school … so, win/win.

Erin just … perhaps it’s the quarantine, etc.

  132. Guy that touched my neck to see if my skin was as soft as it looked, he was banging the wife of another coworker. Dan is still pissed and mentoring the coworker. Convert

  133. I’ll admit, I had to laugh when one of the interviewed “protesters” said they were moving to the suburbs next….good luck with that buddy. We have the guns.
Also, they’re now protesting near a Trader Joe’s in San Diego County, but I’m more inclined to believe that’s more about the shitty parking there than about Floyd’s death

  134. OK but, is your skin really THAT soft?

  135. St. Patrick’s in NYC vandalized. Cardinal Dolan has probably apologized for his white privilege.

  136. There was a “protest” here, which consisted of four people with two signs standing on a corner near the courthouse. No one was paying them the slightest bit of attention, as one of the rent-a-carriages was going by with new bride and groom, very cute.

  137. haha I think I like protests in your town romy

OTOH, it’s small enough that they cops can keep them all inside and route traffic around it. News reports say some protestors have tried to start a confrontation but others have restrained them.

All the restaurants are pissed though, because they are losing some of the business they had fought to bring back. The Cuban place’s waitstaff is out heckling the protestors.

    Quiero un emparadado.

  151. Ok Giuliani, enough. When Floyd was arrested, it wasn’t possible for an upper level police officer to be present. It wouldn’t happen in NYC either.

  152. roamy, I keep waiting for the music from Take Off to start, while watching the video.

  153. The coverage on CNN is just a little different than Fox.

  154. It appears the NYC cops don’t have the tolerance of the Minneapolis cops.

  155. The lefties are blaming this all on the right:

Yeah, the Boogaloo Brigade is out trying to incite at all these events. That said, if the cops left the riot gear in their trunks and patrolled as normal those attempts at incitement wouldn’t find the fuel they need to create a fire.

  156. except, that’s exactly what they did in Minneapolis. They burned it.

  157. I’ve been assured that there are people in Minneapolis armed to the teeth driving their diesel pickups with confederate flag bumper stickers are the cause of the MN riots.

  158. When did people start to measure and keep time, and why? What was the reason or necessity to it?
I imagine the need to measure smaller units like hours and minutes grew out of a specific need or enterprise, but I may be wrong about that.

  159. I’m too old. I’m going to end up one of those weird old bachelors.

Never say ‘never’. I had a high school counselor/boss who married for the first in his 40s. He was running a maintenance business by that time and she was one of the secretaries. Think she was in her late 30s.

  160. When did people start to measure and keep time, and why?

When they discovered a critter haunch tasted pretty good somewhere between raw and charcoal. Or when they needed to keep track of how long it took to get to a better hunting spot, and back, from the safety of their cave.

  161. y’all need to get to bed. You’re up too late.
