Alright, feeling better now. Time to examine my post-prep timing. Like, maybe not waiting until the last minute. Nah, fukkit. I do my best work with a deadline.
The funny from the header lies in the constantly changing comment (CCC or C3) you’ll find in the top left column as well as the seemingly endless application of the disgusted kids’ picture to current events.
I’m fairly certain I wouldn’t be here today if an ancestor (or 50) of mine didn’t kill some people, neither would most of us.
The idea that at least a few of them also weren’t especially modern in their thinking of what amount of consent was needed for conception doesn’t strike me as unlikely either.
That said, I know the majority of them would only have had willing relations and stayed around to be good parents, because instinct alone draws me to that outcome.

If civilization ended tomorrow I’d probably be pretty happy to own a chainsaw. Numerous replacement chains and a couple of hundred gallons of 100% petroleum based gasoline. And my .45.

If civilization ended tomorrow, I know which tool your moms would want.
4. It was done exactly as planned as a warning to anyone else – anywhere – even those wanting to look into it. F*ck with us (the Swamp of Swine), you could be next.
So, apparently the two Jew haters who aren’t going to be allowed in Israel had stated that their visit was to Palestine, and they didn’t plan on meeting with any jewish leaders
It’s any of a group of greens, a variety of chicory with a tender leaf, used for both salads, braises, and soup greens.
I am growing sugarloaf, which forms a long, crunchy, mild flavored head. And an ‘endive’ type called broad-leaf batavian, which forms a rosette of loose leaves that are pale yellow in the heart and make a nice wilted salad with some hot bacon grease.
I was gonna grow chinese cabbage this year too but I think I ran out of time. I was sidetracked by the kitchen project. Oh well, next year. I have way too many regular ball cabbages just sitting out there in the garden anyway.
The world is your Easter egg Teeroy. I was discouraged during the first 2 weeks of job search, but the demand for experienced people who know how to work hard and get things done properly is strong, you’ll do fine.
Also, you believed in Santa for years, you can believe in yourself long enough to fool a potential employer.
I’m headed out on a job interview tomorrow afternoon after turning down a job last Friday. It’s only for a 1-year contract, and I’d have to commute 60-90 minutes twice a day, 5 days a week for the first three months, then transitioning down to some smaller number of days/week.
I should just cancel and hold on to my current work until everything really falls apart.
I recommend riding a company into death and even to the underworld if at all possible. The times I quit when there was trouble and jumped like a flea to another company, I ended up in a new frying pan/fire situation while my former coworkers waited it out and coasted on funemployment and took their time finding places they wanted to work.
I’ve been putting out resumes myself, trying to find something closer to home. I injured my back in 2015. It’s never really healed properly because sitting in a car aggravates it the most. I was managing the group for the last 4 of those years, but the Application group is considered junior to the Development group and it was effective a deadend.
Two years ago the ownership made a very questionable call that saw the Director of Engineering leave, but not before he moved me over to the Development side to fill a seat they’d been trying for months and months to fill by stealing an experienced person from a competitor. This role was as a “junior” engineer to jump in and help a severely overworked product engineer and eventually take over one of his lines. Turns out he also had plans to leave after the questionable decision, it just took him a little longer to get things in order. I spent a few months buried under his load complete workload until they finally split it up, giving the line I could have tolerated to another guy and leaving me with the line I absolutely didn’t want.

Jay, no…the recruiters I use get paid by the company that hires me. It actually is a good motivator for the company to be thorough in the process, and since you are an investment they have higher motivation to make it work out.
Will, you can search around on LinkedIn without creating a profile, and you can also create a profile without advertising that you are looking. I found the Mason Group on LI and then hit their website and found the recruiter for my area, everything was through my burner cell phone and gmail. The hard part was getting privacy during the work day at the office for phone calls and interviews, but my boss knew I was looking to get out of southern Canada and I always gave him a full day’s work.

This was supposed to be a celebratory visit. My nephew was finally reconnecting with our family after over 10 years away (his mom died in 2008, and he has been dealing with family deaths ever since. He has been overwhelmed).
Instead, everyone – my parents included – was blindsided by the news that my Mom has cancer, and she will probably not be around in 6 months.
My poor nephew is beside himself. He plans to come and visit Mom and Dad as often as possible, but there simply isn’t enough time, and my heart is just breaking for him.
All of us are heading to our respective homes tomorrow. It was a wonderful visit, but as happy as we were to all be together again, the overwhelming feeling has been sadness.

Got done with the Clancy audiobooks again, so I’ve been listening to music again. The Wall, still really good.

Yes, they new album is going to have some epic long songs.
They also have two EPs. So, 6. This will be their 7th release. One album is redos and covers, and super hard to find (and not on iTunes).
That’s the one that has the masterful version of No Quarter.
