HHD

Good morning, and welcome to another edition of Hunky Hump Day. Today is Mini-me’s birthday, so I expect to be scarce. Let’s get started.
I finally saw “Austin Powers”.

Now for the hunks.

Fake redhead for Carin

Not great, but the shorts made me LOL.

There’s a look.

Interesting lighting.

Last, but not least.

Thank you for your attention, thank you to Pirate’s Cove, and y’all have a good day.

I don’t think RBG is dead. I do think her hold on life is so tenuous that they’re erecting barriers around her to keep her going. I can’t imagine they even let her shit or shower unsupervised. But that begs the question, if she’s that close to the great beyond, how can they keep her alive until 2024/5, assuming a PDT victory in 2020? Given the clown show going on now it looks like the Dems are not serious about winning in 2020. Here’s where I start to grow concerned about dirty tricks from the old Obama cronies, Silicon Valley mafia, Deep State, etc.

  5. Comment by Car in on May 29, 2019 8:42 am

I think she’s probably not doing super awesome and they want to avoid appearances of what is actually happening. That she really should retire, but they’re basically trying to drag her body passed 2020.

It’s getting worse: “Update: Gasoline Leak on Nepessing Street. All residents and business owners along Nepessing Street from the intersection of Saginaw and Nepessing Streets west thru the 400 block of West Nepessing are being requested to evacuate their homes and businesses. Crews are on scene and actively working this incident. The concentrations of the gasoline fumes within the sewer lines has been increasing. All persons in this area are being requested to leave at this time. This page will be updated as information becomes available.”

Their hope is that they can keep her alive until January 1st, 2020, and then claim that since it’s an election year Trump can’t nominate a replacement. They’ll wave her corpse around to try and turn out the vote, especially suburban women.

Of course, the prospect of replacing RBG with a conservative justice and swinging the court 6-3 to the right will also drive turnout among conservatives.

that’s a great point. I forgot about the election year rule. That had to bite us at some time. At this point she can retire in Jan 2020 and they bought a year.

Unfortunately, the dems don’t have the senate, but they can block all they want. The GOP Abortion Sisters in the Senate will surely put up a blockade to any nomination.

I love this time of year. It’s dead as fuck in the office, school is out so the drive in isn’t complete AIDS, and if I gotta peace out to get something taken care of (I don’t right now), it isn’t tossing a spanner in anything. Closest thing to an old style summer vacation I get.

Though having that first week of July off is kinda nice, too.

    Also..

Many (5-7 that I’m aware of) hardcore vegans/vegetarians (and some have close to a million subscribers) are giving up their vegan/vegetarian lifestyles. They just don’t feel good

Friend of ours teetered vegan/vegetarian for years. About three years ago, she had her doctor do a complete workup because she was tired of being tired. She’s added meat back to her diet and feels 100% better. Though she still, on a lesser scale, gives her husband trouble about hunting all of the time.

My concern too. Hillary campaigned in the back of her med van or feet up at Chelsea’s, with bottles of chardonnay completely confidant all the cheating, and the media seat sniffers, was going to carry her rotted carcass.
This last election was a test run on the ballot harvesting. I have no doubt they will expand and double-down. GOPe are curiously disinterested. Weird that.

The wizards of smart in CT had big plans for a state run insurance program.

Their plan was to reduce insurance and prescription prices with money they get from new taxes on insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

Why didn’t anyone else think of this?

Anyhoo, Cigna threatened to move out of the state and the wizards moved onto something else.

WA state is implementing several stupid gun-laws on 1June that will make it a L O N G process to get a new fire-arm, including required safety classes to get an “Assault Rifle”.
Under their new definitions a Ruger 10-22 is an “Assault Rifle”(magazine fed semi-auto).
They will also stop using the NCIS ‘instant background check’, having it done by local PD instead. That will take as much as 160 days. BATFE told them that it won’t work. That’s the idea. They are trying to make it really inconvenient for anyone to legally get a gun.
I went up to Federal Way Discount Guns today and brought home a Glock 30. It’s my 3rd .45, but my first Glock.
I wanted something bigger than .380 as a ‘carry gun’,but the 1911’s are problematic to carry in the summer. We’ll see how it goes.
I may go back up there tomorrow and get an AR-15 to match Anita’s…
