MMM 358: good heavens, how many of these do I still have?

The binders still aren’t empty, sadly.

  3. From the old poat

I’ve read a few articles about Dems harvesting ballots via mail in/absentee/etc and after I read them I wonder how long it will be before the GOP does the same damn thing. Of course it will be called out by the media if they’re doing it but a vote’s a vote, right Governor Northam?

  4. A national popular election means universal fraud rather than specific cities, I fear, but the point about Rs actually benefiting more from it is sound. The rural counties won’t flip, and the city-dwelling and blue stronghold R voters don’t bother now.

(She recently retired and I think felt free to say what she wanted on social media without repercussions.) An incoherent rant about how, yes, nuns should be forced to TAKE birth control and the priests should pay for it. I had enough of her shit.

  23. If the Dems would have actually had a debate about the direction of the party after Pickles lost they wouldn’t be in this situation.

  26. I am going to add something to the dem platform that is level 11 stupid.

  27. I actually think part of the problem is that the Dems don’t really face any scrutiny other than on the very few conservative platforms and therefore step on their girl penises when they have to talk to regular people.

This. And the GOP is punch drunk from getting hit in the face so many times that they flinch every time the Dems fake a punch.

Except Trump. And the Dems don’t like it.

  31. I see RP’s point. If you can’t use the legislative branch then you’re SOL.

I have no idea if the emergency thing is valid but it’s worth a try.

  32. I actually think part of the problem is that the Dems don’t really face any scrutiny other than on the very few conservative platforms and therefore step on their girl penises when they have to talk to regular people.

Obama was horrible for the party. Pushing to the left cost the Dems a thousand seats across all levels of government, which wiped out many up and coming Dem leaders without any potential replacements. Meanwhile, the academic wing of the party (meaning the true believers in progressivism) saw Obama as their candidate, and decided that they no longer needed to make common cause with the pragmatic wing of the party where the blue-collar types resided, and in fact decided to try and expel them from the party. You’re left with the old guard in safe districts who have access to the money, and the young radicals who won based on OrangeManBad who have the drive.

People mock AOC for acting like she’s a BSD, but while she’s not a genius, she’s got a ruthless side and knows how to read the political winds and she knows there is weakness that she can exploit.

  33. I see RP’s point. If you can’t use the legislative branch then you’re SOL.

I have no idea if the emergency thing is valid but it’s worth a try.

There’s some legitimacy to the argument. But I’d buy it more if Republicans had made a concerted effort when they had the House to actually fix these issues. They don’t want to fix the issues. What they want is to grandstand and fund-raise off the issue while never actually addressing it.

  41. We got a bit of a whomping with snow last night. Today’s roadtrip is off to a slow start. I just got a “We’ll call you when we are on the way,” from Mom and Sis. They haven’t dressed or started shoveling the driveway yet.

  43. Is it still considered impolite to discuss dingleberries in public?

  44. I’m kind of a history buff, especially modern German history. Believe me when I say AOC is setting off all kinds of alarms for me at this stage. That one is FAR more dangerous than credit is given.

I like this 36 hours fast. It kind of yanks my chain back to reality if I strayed off the low carb/keto farm. It also makes me appreciate food a lot more. A LOT MORE.

I’m going to be doing these fasts every Sun-Tues during Lent plus the regular Friday fasts so I thought I would get a jump start.

The hardest part of my fast is drinking my coffee black. And no Zipp Fizz before I work out. And no food.

  57. Time for most of you to confess: Almost every lesbian you know is ugly. Come on, tell the truth.

  61. Sergei Rachmaninoff or Gustav Holst? Discuss.

  62. I think she’s dangerous just like Obama was dangerous. I, for one, initially thought, no way, not this guy, he goes to a racist, radical church, he’s lied about most of his past, he’s a lefty and he’s super buds with Bill Ayers. I didn’t take him seriously because even he said he wasn’t ready for the Presidency. Little did I know, his handlers in the Chicago machine had no intention of him running things. He was a puppet who the stupid people thought would be awesome to vote for a half black guy. Well, shit, I was wrong. 8 effing years of the bullshit.

Donkey Chompers appeals to the stupid. And there are a shit ton of stupid people in this country. Sad but true.

  63. Roamy: “Clintbird, no. Trying to set a time when all of us can see it together, and Rocketboy’s move put a crimp on the schedule.”

Better hurry, it’s only in IMAX theater and only this week. I don’t know it they’re planning for a wider release in regular theaters or not. I think it is a MUST see for anyone who remembers American exceptionalism instead of the made up history the commie educators are pushing now.

  64. If you spend any time in the St. Pete area you will see your share of unattractive lesbians.

She can be saved. Every pretty lesbian is only two drinks away from a heterosexual experience.

  66. I do understand most of these women have probably been molested and prefer to cover their femininity.

Everyone has to cope in their own way.

  67. She can be saved. Every pretty lesbian is only two drinks away from a heterosexual experience.

She’s “married” with a couple of kids. Now that I think about it, I think her “wife” was also not bad looking. I only met her once, briefly, at the office Christmas party.

  68. Mare: “If you spend any time in the St. Pete area you will see your share of unattractive lesbians.”

Wait until you go to Madison, Wisconsin.

  69. Yeah, I’ve seen some cute lezs but they got fluffy.

Something is making my phone battery drain down quickly. I eliminated a bunch of apps and installed advanced task manager but it’s still happening. Annoying.

  70. lauralaw: If it’s an Android, sometimes shutting it down, removing the re-installing the battery, then restarting, will make the possible glitch disappear.

  71. I can’t decide if AOC is dangerous or a fool.

I think it’s likely that she’s both but should be treated as the ignoramus that she is.

The one thing AOC is sure of is AOC.

  72. Rachmaninoff

  73. OK, just did that. Apparently that action made another 2% disappear, but I hope this nonsense is over now.

    Fanks, clint!

  74. I know a couple of good looking rug munchers. They’re married to each other. But all the other lezbos I know are quite unattractive.

Mare’s list pretty well sums them up.

  75. Rachmaninoff

  76. You can be dangerous and a fool. Sometimes because you’re a fool.

And sometimes, dangerous because people think you’re a fool.

  77. I think she’s dangerous just like Obama was dangerous. I, for one, initially thought, no way, not this guy, he goes to a racist, radical church, he’s lied about most of his past, he’s a lefty and he’s super buds with Bill Ayers. Yeah, but Obama sounded smart. She, like, sounds, like, a kind of, I don’t know, like, totally weird in a way, like, idiot, right?

  78. MJ, have you read the NY state economic director’s postmortem on the Amazon deal? It’s outstanding. And it’s one reason I don’t fear AOC too much. They’re going to be relentless in trying to eject her from office.

  80. She sounds like a freshman communications major.

  81. AOC is dangerous because she’s so smug in her ignorance and now has the keys to power.

And what mare said about the JEF.

  82. I didn’t think obama sounded smart. If you listened to what he said, there was nothing there.

  83. Coincidentally, freshman communications majors are also 2 drinks away from a heterosexual experience.

  84. No I haven’t. Thanks for linking it.

I’ve been thinking the same thing about her. She’s going to be districted out and put in a position that’s more suited to her skills. Fundraising, organizing, etc. Right now she’s a bit of a liability and an asset. It would be wise to tamp down on the risk she poses.

  85. …until he wasn’t reading from the teleprompter. That’s when his radical slip showed. Stupid yes, but look how many voted for him.

  86. One thing I love about that guy’s analysis is that I was right, lol. I said that as soon as Amazon showed up on the horizon, all the little parasitic organizations that infest cities probably came racing up to tell them who they could hire and never fire, and what vendors they must use, what local causes they must donate to, etc. and so on, and it looks like that is exactly what happened.

  87. Obama was a really dark White Guy.

He grew up in an upper-middle-class white lifestyle, and learned to move in that community and speak the language. He basically was non-threatening to white academics which is why they loved him. He was their token black friend but without the scary racial stuff directed at them. He just repeated the progressive boilerplate that they all believed.

  88. Coincidentally, freshman communications majors are also 2 drinks away from a heterosexual experience.

3 drinks from a lesbian experience if they’re on Spring Break or the guy suggesting the threesome is really cute.

  89. I didn’t think obama sounded smart.

He didn’t actually sound smart, he signaled smart, and he looked black, which was enough. AOC is unaware of her signalling to anyone but the young activist crowd and the media. She’s a post-rational candidate, and while that will help her in interviews, she’s also a guileless ninny who can’t negotiate or even think clearly. She will trip over her own dick regularly.

  90. Are you in, Mare?

    This particular comma was critical.

  91. That’s pretty spot on.

Play stupid games lose $27 B.

  92. Mini-me said she wants to see “Apollo 11” just so she can see a space movie without me saying “I worked on that.”

  93. I think AOC is actually stupid. She says stupid things in a stupid way. She appeals to the stupid. She has little rational, thought (filled) ideas. She’s been told she’s awesome and believes it. Hence this perfect example of why you shouldn’t give kids trophies for trying :

  94. Listen to the “trying” part.

    WTF?

Mao was trying too. So was Stalin. So was Bill Ayers. STFU you moron.

  95. Anyone have a spare sandwich? Asking for a friend.

  96. I think what a lot people have missed from that clip is that she’s talking about the neo Marxist view that power defines everything.

  97. I think what a lot people have missed from that clip is that she’s talking about the neo Marxist view that power defines everything.

    ———-

One of the reasons people think she’s dangerous. She got power crazy pretty fricken fast. She also mentioned a “list” of those dems who didn’t support her stupidness.

I’d like to see her investigated for giving her boyfriend a “salary” out of campaign funds. Nip this twat in the bud *cough*.

  98. I think Hillary is actually stupid and dangerous. Very dangerous. I’m one of those who thinks she and Bill have taken care of people who are problematic.

  99. I do occasionally get the sense that she got high and listened to the audiobook of The 48 Laws of Power once.

  100. Never forget, Hillary stood in front of the coffins of those SHE let die and lied to the faces of their loved ones. She’d do anything for ass-covering and power mongering.

  105. AOC is dangerous because her “betters” think she can be contained and used. This means she can get into a position to do real damage.

  106. AOC is dangerous because numbnuts think she’s smart. The shit she says – they BELIEVE IT.

  107. I’m on a high carb diet.

That’s why we keep Mare around.

I thought it was to get rid of the leftover boxed wine and girl-scout cookies.

  114. Never underestimate the enemy, but I think between her mouth (its own liability) and the Dem Deep State, I don’t see AOC surviving for long.

  115. I’m on a high carb diet.

I don’t even want to be. I’m on one high-carb meal a week and it’s a burden. The only upside is the vivid dreams.

  116. I’m on high carbs too MJ.

  117. My sleep has let me know it likes carbs. Low carb makes me sleep like shit. I haven’t slept this well in ages. If ever.

  118. My sleep quality has more to do with my incontinent dog than it does dietary macronutrients. Even last night after the high carb meal I was awake half a dozen times.

  119. I eat most of my carbs between Friday night and Saturday Night. Even then, I’ve started to cut back just by naturally not wanting them.

  120. I wouldn’t be caught dead buying Girl Scout cookies . Eff those SJW and climate change twits.

    Boxed wine? Maybe.

  121. Girl Scout cookies are overpriced horse crap. They’ve been selling them outside the supermarket all weekend. I just say Nope.

  122. If I’m going to eat a cookie, I can do a lot better than GS.

  123. Saw them hawking cookies outside the local gas station convenience store this past weekend. Pass.

  124. She appeals to the stupid.

And it is frightening how many people are dumber than her that voted for her and will continue to vote dem rat.

  125. Girl Scout cookies have gotten crazy expensive. I’ll take Aldi’s thin mints for 95 cents, Alex.

  126. AOC is dangerous because she’s a baby hillary.

  127. She’s a baby Hillary with nice tits.

  128. Looks like Mr. Owl found him some dinner in our front garden last night.

  133. I suspect drugs were involved.

  134. Beasn, are you sure those aren’t turkey foot prints?

  135. 1. Republicans would campaign in states/cities that are traditionally D. And they’d peel off a few million votes that could flip the national popular vote.

The GOP would pick up 3mm votes in CA alone from folks who right now simply don’t bother.

  136. BTW, AOC isn’t dumb. But she’s *very* good at appealing to dumb people.

  137. this is my favorite part of laura’s story:

“Incredibly, I have heard city and state elected officials who were opponents of the project claim that Amazon was getting $3 billion in government subsidies that could have been better spent on housing or transportation. This is either a blatant untruth or fundamental ignorance of basic math by a group of elected officials. The city and state ‘gave’ Amazon nothing. Amazon was to build their headquarters with union jobs and pay the city and state $27 billion in revenues. The city, through existing as-of-right tax credits, and the state through Excelsior Tax credits – a program approved by the same legislators railing against it – would provide up to $3 billion in tax relief, IF Amazon created the 25,000-40,000 jobs and thus generated $27 billion in revenue. You don’t need to be the State’s Budget Director to know that a nine to one return on your investment is a winner.

And AOC is an economics major. All these morons think that NY was handing a check for $3 billion to Amazon. And this is the same thing people think about “corporate welfare” all over the country.

  138. XB, isn’t that exactly what Trump did? Ignore CA, and campaign (and turn) MI, WI, and PA?

  139. Luke Perry died. 52. That’s awful young.

If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of millions of Gen-X women gasping in shock.

Seriously, though, that’s really young, how sad.

    Preach.

  141. I sleep pretty good, and I’m not even on a diet!

  142. I’m not saying everyone needs carbs to sleep, but I obviously do. I could fall asleep, but I’d wake – EVERY night) around 2 and be awake for HOURS. I was on “fat loss” until a few weeks ago, and I got my carbs back 10 days ago. Suddenly, I’m pr-ing my squat clean. I’m good. Pass me that bowl of rice.

  143. I’m Gen-X, and I always thought Luke was bit wimpy /wussy looking.

  144. Xbradtc, if it’s dumb as a duck, and quacks like a duck, and shits things out her mouth like a duck shits that horrible white and yellow mess. Then it’s a duck.

She’s dumb. But, hey, everyone’s threshold is different.

  145. She didn’t smoke Crowley in the primary by 15% by being dumb. She just plays dumb.

  146. “Unemployment is low because so many people have two jobs.”
    AOC

    Put me down for dumb..

  147. Hotspur, we have a pair of great horned owls in the area. The tracks start about 6 feet from where I took that picture, which would be a few feet from the center of the yard – in fresh snow. They end near the bush in the front garden where a small skirmish took place. Nothing else. It took flight after getting what it came for. Don’t think turkeys are that ‘clean’ and then go ‘poof’.

    Those tracks weren’t there yesterday.

Only turkeys we’ve seen around here have been in the remaining corner farm land a couple of miles up the road.

  148. “Unemployment is low because so many people have two jobs.”
    AOC

    Put me down for dumb..

Don’t discount the possibility that she’s decided her natural constituency is people with a sub-85 IQ.

  149. No feather or fur evidence?

Perry looked like shit for 52 in his recent made for public consumption photos….I’ll go with Jay in speculating something else strongly contributed to his demise. I got nothing against the guy, I hope he’s found peace.

  150. She didn’t smoke Crowley in the primary by 15% by being dumb. She just plays dumb.

    ———

I don’t think she planned her campaign by herself. And just like Obama, people didn’t vote for her because her campaign was pretty, She’s female with the last name Cortez. I was under the impression Crowley literally did NOTHING and expected a shoe in.

  151. I liked Luke Perry. I recently saw him in some Hallmark series which was very good.

I do recall that he had alcohol and/or substance abuse problems at one time or maybe all the time.

  153. She’s tits on a stick that spews nonsense and she cost New York fucking city how much? ……walking dead Dem….sure it can bite and infect, but odds are it’s going to get head shot soon…..think about it….NYC just lost how much…..

  154. You’ve got my vote.

  155. She’s dumb and cocky.

But like someone said, great tatas.

  156. Leon, I’d support an Honest Grifter Party.

  157. Is anyone surprised that the blackface guy, rapist, and blackface guy are still in office?

  158. I assumed that what she was trying to say was, “Yes unemployment is down, but that’s mostly due to people working part-time jobs for low wage because that’s all that’s available.” Which is still incorrect because the rate of multiple part-time job holders has remained fairly steady, but it is true that the U-3 doesn’t capture that distinction.

  159. Someone should put up a billboard with Northam’s yearbook photo on one said and the caption, “If this isn’t acceptable…” and a photo of a drag queen on the other with the caption, “then why is this?”

  160. If you listen to her talk for anything length of time its obvious she’s a true believer.

And that she’s educated at a high school level.

And that she probably sucks a mean D. That mouth. Good god.

  161. No feather or fur evidence?

Nope. Doesn’t mean he didn’t catch something. I’ve seen the raptors around here swoop in without touching the ground to grab something and I’ve seen them sit on their catch before flying off with it. Only once in a while will I see them chew on road kill where it got smashed.

Cats and coyotes are more likely to leave a mess of evidence.

  162. MJ, you don’t want your dick in a donkey chomper’s mouth unless you want to fluid your gender.

  163. Gender fluid. Is that anything like transition fluid?

  164. https://www.radajonesmd.com/47-tips-to-keep-you-away-from-my-er/

I’m sure Lauraw and Paula would agree. #43 is where it turns Hostage.

  165. I never watched 90210, so I really don’t know Luke Perry.

  166. I don’t think she planned her campaign by herself.

Of course not. DSA deliberately picked Crowley as a mark because he focused on DC, not NY.

But again, while her supporters are dumb, she’s not. She’s not gifted, but she knows enough to play the game.

  167. Wasn’t Luke in Buffy too?

  168. Woo hoo! The snowblower is back in business.

    Dirty carb killed it.

  169. Luke was in Buffy, as was Kristy Swanson, who’s post-Buffy career has been similarly less than stellar.

  170. Luke Perry played Fred Andrews in the Riverdale series. It will be interesting to see how they handle the loss.

  171. There were two popular shows around that time that we used to watch at night. 90210 and Melrose Place. My younger brother was 5 years younger than me and he was into it. He and I along with our mutual friend Frank would either get take out or go to the grocery store in Worcester for deli meat, veggies and a huge Italian loaf for mega-Dagwood sandwich construction. Probably the only TV watching parties I’ve had on a regular basis and I fondly remember them when my mind takes me back to those days. I had a thing for Shannon Doherty on 90210 (“Brenda”)

  172. The fact that I know nothing of Luke Perry’s political styling is great. Guy was an actor who acted and kept that shit to himself or at least didn’t publicize it.

  173. I was more partial to Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea).

  174. Of course you were.

  175. OMG. HICKENLOOPER IS IN?

  176. … says the guy pining for Iain Zeiring.

  177. If you couldn’t guess who I liked from 90210 you’re basically dead to me.

  178. …wait, you were the Tori Spelling fan!!??

  179. Haha, I just looked at cast photos of 90210 and I completely forgot about Tori Spelling (Donna)

  180. Carol Potter?

MILFy, I guess I get it.

  181. I watched the first two seasons of Buffy, don’t remember Luke Perry from that, either. Never saw Riverdale or Melrose Place.

  182. Heh, Leon on a roll.

    (Low carb)
    (Gluten free)

Seriously, all three comments made me lol.

  183. Roamy, there was a Buddy May vie before the series.

  184. What? Autocorrect???

Buddy May vie for Buffy movie???

  185. Roamy, Luke was in the movie. So was Rutger Hauer.

  186. It was the movie, roamy, not the series. The one with the spectacular Pee Wee Herman death scene.

  187. Luke Perry was in the original Buffy movie, never in the Joss Whedon TV series.

  188. Buddy May vie got a piece of mare. Rawr!

  189. Was Luke Perry in the Buffy movie?

  190. I had to look up who Luke Perry is. Never watched anything he did.

  191. welder, $15 to $30 an hour

  192. https://tinyurl.com/yy57zlch

  193. I watched 90210 for a bit. I didn’t have a favorite character – they were all sort of annoying. Buffy – THAT show I loved.

  194. And I’m going to guess that MJ was a Jenni Garth fan. She has that slut look he find appealing.

  195. Alyson Hannigan. Always. Forever. Simply the bestest.

  196. Didn’t see the movie, either.

  197. Everyone saw this, right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4j0DiYvGQY

  198. Alyson was Buffy, not 90210.

  199. The movie was campy. I literally loved the show. Probably the last show I truly loved.

  200. IT was both wonderful, entertaining musically, and hilarious.

  201. Alyson was Buffy, not 90210.

Yes, but you mentioned Buffy the show, and she cannot go unmentioned when that occurs.

  202. this was the best piece:

I hope she fries. I’m free if that bitch dies. I better help her out.

  203. “I think this line’s mostly filler” …. lol

  204. The surprising thing in that episode was how great a singer Amber Benson was.

  205. Right? She was really good.

  206. She should have voiced a Disney princess. She was easily as good as Belle or Ariel.

  207. Should have cast her as Moana…

  208. Buffy was good. I liked it less after they graduated high school, and didn’t watch the final season.

  209. Josh Whedon made some good series, for a sexual abuser. Brian Singer made good movies, Weinstein, etc. I’m seeing a pattern.

  210. Trump’s CPAC speech is really good. HS gave us one yesterday, here’s one with a bit better audio: President Trump Delivers Remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference

  211. I’m in downtown Philly. What do I absolutely have to do in downtown Philadelphia? Suggestions please.

This city is pretty gorgeous. City hall is absolutely ridiculous. Everything is like 10X human scale, seems like.

  212. I never watched the last season either, and my interest waned a lot after the resurrection.

  213. You know what else was a pressure cooker? The German Army’s mobile kitchen trailer in use from about 1890 to the 1960s. Sporting the rather whimsical nickname of goulashkanone.

  214. I went to CHOP for a 1 day meet the professor thing with a tumor guy. Took a van from the airport, stayed in a ghetto hotel across from the hospital and flew out the next day. When I got take out Chinese for dinner I noticed all the menus claimed No Pork on them for the Muzzies.

  215. Comment by Pendejo on March 4, 2019 10:47 am
    Are you in, Mare?
    This particular comma was critical.
    ——-
    I laughed.

Death playing the claw game made me chuckle in my Guinness oo.

  216. too

  217. We lost the War on Terror. I knew it when we elected Hussein.

But no pork in Chinese food? That’s the fucking deathknell of the Republic, man.

  218. Is MJ commenting and I can’t see it because I’m dead to him, or did he just wander off?

  219. Did anyone do anything special for Imperative Day?

    March Forth!

  220. Catching up on comments. She did 19.2 Carin. She did it RX and was happy with her results. She did something she’s never done before, lifted some weight heavier than she ever has. Missed moving on to the next weight for some reason. I listen but unless she speaks slowly and uses short words I miss the story. Bottom line, she was happy with her effort. The gym owner Mel convinced her to do it RX and she was able to keep up for most of it.

    This is Mel: https://tinyurl.com/y4fex7ub

  221. Mel makes me wish I’d started lifting in my 20s instead of my 30s. I can’t get as big as she is without gear at this point.

  222. Gym owner, firefighter EMT, Air Guard boom operator, married to the co owner of the gym. I remember her and her now husband working out at the old Y downtown. She was lifting man size weights way back when

  223. *checks on current state of the art in mysostatin inhibition retroviruses*

  224. Wow, fourteen people killed in an Alabama tornado, yesterday.

  225. We are taking Rebecca out of school this Wednesday and taking her to see Apollo 11. It’s only playing at three theaters within 50 miles of us.

It’s the last day that it is showing at the IMAX theatre, and it is also my dad’s 87th birthday. He worked on the original Apollo program, and I am always proud that he was one of the MANY people who landed man on the moon.

    I can’t wait.

  226. I kind of wish the movie was playing next week instead – my parents are coming down to look at retirement facilities, and it will be Spring Break.

I would love to have been able to take my dad to see the movie and then listen to him talk about the stuff that he remembers. It’s always fascinating to hear his stories.

  227. Beasn, I think the storm killed 23.

  228. The Washington Compost didn’t apologize, now they’re going to be sorry. http://www.hemmerlaw.com/blog/statement-of-l-lin-wood-and-todd-mcmurtry-regarding-nicholas-sandmann-and-the-washington-post/

  229. Lauraw, I think they have an Italian Market known for their food and ice cream.

  230. Gritty scares me.

  231. At least 23. Still searching for dozens of missing people.

  232. Jimbro, you can start asking Chinese restaurants if they have Pork with garlic sauce just like my cousin asking REI where their gun counter is. Taiwan style restaurants always have Pork and seafood. Taiwan pigs ARE huge.

  233. Filipino co-worker lived in Hong Kong for years before marrying an American GI. SHE IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST LIBTARDS I KNOW. She wants the WALL. I was talking to her in Chinese. She was all “That’s Mandarin. I speak Cantonese”. Oso: I don’t speak Commie.

  234. Oso: I don’t speak Commie

    *Bald eagle screech*

  235. 🤪👋🏻

  236. You can take my pork fried rice from my cold, dead, greasy fingers.

  237. pork isn’t my favorite in Chinese food, but in fajitas? Whoa, nelly!

  238. I get my first CSA box of the year pretty soon. Pastured, local pork incoming!

  239. I have char sui pork marinating for tomorrow night’s dinner.

  240. CSA?

  241. Example of complete fucking idiots that we argue with. This is a “story” someone heard, as an example of how racist we are as a nation:

For all of you who think you have it bad – I just had a conversation where I was told that the “Negro League” was racist because Jackie Robinson played in MLB. Let that sink in the next time you want to tell me how everybody knows better and does better now. We’re so fucking ignorant as a nation that it is just appalling.

The BS is SOOO thick on this one.

  242. char sui pork does sound tasty! That’s the bright red one?

  243. Roamie, have you used your pressure cooker yet?

  244. Community-supported agriculture, Roamy. Basically you pay up front directly to the farmer and get a box at regular intervals. This is the hair-sheep farm in Decatur that I’m eventually hoping to buy feeder lambs from.

  245. Assuming our business relationship continues well, I may eventually be getting my starter flock from them, or at least part of it.

  246. The only thing I ever cooked with lamb was gyros. I have to try a leg o lamb sometime, y’all rave about it so much.

  247. The Negro League was so racist they wouldn’t let whites play.

  248. J’ames, 🚁🚁🚁🚁🚁 serial. Pinochet wasn’t a hero. He was a tyrant. I want to subscribe to his newsletter and host a few commies

  249. Hair-sheep lamb is awesome, Jay. You can cool it and re-heat it and it doesn’t get that funky scent at all. It’s like tender beef. Even the mutton I’ve had from them is good.

  250. Lamb tastes the way it smells as it is being prepped. -Clarice is OSO. Serial, I would probably not eat pork or Beef if the Tios didn’t segregate Matanzas and underground pit cooking. Cabrito and lamb is women’s work. Acceptable for children.

  251. Seriously, as a nation, we are damn near past the Godzilla Threshold.

  252. Pinochet wasn’t a hero.

  253. Tried to cue that, the money line is at 2:20.

  254. And yes, I know Ace lamented that movie as a start of “in the future every movie will be a superhero origin story” but I can’t not love it.

  255. Tomorrow is paczki day. Guess what I won’t be eating.

  256. Tomorrow is paczki day. Guess what I won’t be eating.

    French toast?

  257. That too.

  258. Leon, that is epic!

  259. I forgot to pack hand tools on this trip, which I need to put furniture together, so I went to Lowes and bought this kit:

    https://tinyurl.com/y5c9m23s

When I opened it up it was obviously a mouse’s summer home. No bueno.

  260. My problem with tools is my bride. I am obsessive about putting things back in the toolbox. HotBride not so much.

Then when I need a tool it isn’t in there despite repeated demands to stay away from my toolbox. She has one of her own, but guess what? Things are often missing. Ya think?

  261. Dan and I are finally shopping for our bug out property. Finally. Southeast CO and TX panhandle.

  262. I have two toolboxes. One is hidden.

  263. I gave up after the 4th time I bought a set of screwdrivers in 2 years.

  264. heh, good plan leon.

    WTH is that movie?

  265. Dracula Untold. The story of a noble Romanian prince doing whatever it takes to defend his countrymen (and their young sons) from an invading Muslim pederast horde.

  266. It’s been the source if a little marital strife. It’s like, “Goddamnit, when you can’t find your shit it’s because you mindlessly left it somewhere. Don’t do that to mine.”

  267. It’s about the only movie made in the last ten years with explicitly Christian protagonists and Muslim antagonists.

We’re at the point where the only way to tell such a story in popular fiction is to go back in time and make it a vampire superhero flick.

  268. “Goddamnit, when you can’t find your shit it’s because you mindlessly left it somewhere. Don’t do that to mine.”

    Are you me?

  269. If I bitch about where stuff is left, pretty soon I’m the only one picking up. I stop bitching, haha.

  270. I think we’ve identified a gender difference. Women don’t put shit away.

    Prove me wrong.

  271. You clearly don’t have enough tools.

If you have about 6 sets of everything, it’s never a problem.

  272. If she keeps using your tools, cut paper with her fabric scissors.

  273. Oh, that’s just mean, XBrad!

  274. Don’t start none, won’t be none, TiFW.

  275. I’m glad other people are noticing the asslessness of Miss Marvel.

Why watch a superchick movie without a nice booty to look at?

  276. Plus, who wants to see somebody that negative towards 1/2 the population.

  277. It helps that Mr. RFH has one of those toolkits where each tool has its spot. I put them back.

I was also trained by Swamp Heathen (RIP, XBrad got to meet him before he passed) to put the damn tools back at work, too. I was too scared of what he’d do if I didn’t put them back.

  278. If she keeps using your tools, cut paper with her fabric scissors.

    I hide my pinking shears.

  279. H2 Product Review.

I bought a pair of MadGrip Thunderdome gloves because I saw a comment on here a couple of weeks ago where LauraW said she was gonna get some. I have mad respect for LauraW and her thoughts on life. Except for that obsession with growing shit…..I don’t really get that. But anyway, I bought these gloves at Lowe’s for $13.98 plus 8.25% sales tax and took them out to cut some firewood. I cut and loaded on a trailer about a cord of wood and the gloves are trashed. The rubber has worn off of every finger tip and the cloth underneath is too thin to offer any protection at all. They’re prolly ok if you handle nothing but smooth surfaces but handling firewood fucked them up in a hurry. However, I still value LauraW’s thoughts on non-glove related topics. And shit.

  280. Bit late in the day, but Happy Birthday to the departed Swamp Heathen.

  281. Druids espoused ritual purification.
