a couple of college scouts were there, one was from uconn.
the opposing team has a 6’4″ and two 6’2″ girls that are actually coordinated.
this area has some pretty good women’s bball prospects.
too bad our coach sucks boogers.

  3. the unbelievable facts guy is MJ.

  7. Never take your seat belt off on the road I guess is the lesson on that spike strip video

  8. I hate this post so much.

  11. https://wtop.com/health-fitness/2018/12/frequent-sex-associated-with-greater-enjoyment-of-life-for-men-but-not-women-study/

Sexbots will come, and they will destroy life as you know it. I’m actually curious how women will change to compete with them. We’re seeing now what happens to men when government offers itself as a substitute husband.

  12. My favorite boogers are the huge crusty ones that come flying out after you take a shower in the winter when the humidity has been super low. When you breathe in and out after that you’re like “Hey, this is how normal people breathe”!

  13. The idea of sexbots is about the grossest thing I can imagine. Seriously.

  14. We’re also seeing what happens to women in the same set of circumstances

  15. Great, two medical posts a week now.

  16. The idea of sexbots is about the grossest thing I can imagine. Seriously.

You are not fooling anybody. We’ve seen your library.

  17. The idea of sexbots is about the grossest thing I can imagine. Seriously.

The idea of an acne-ridden, overweight male involuntary celibate rogering his waifu pillow is arguably worse.

  18. My other comment on that article — after hearing tales of so many sexless marriages — is that many women still won’t have sex with their husbands, not even to save his life.

  19. Eh. While I don’t deny it’s a thing, in my one friend group, there were two women who said their husband had a very low drive. This is out of four women. One eventually divorced her husband (for a variety of other factors) but it was a once a year event. It drove her crazy and she repeatedly asked him to get help, counseling, etc.

  20. Ack, drive that low in a man is a sign of some serious pathology. I’d have taken myself to the doctor if it were me.

  21. From a comment here: https://quillette.com/2018/12/16/dont-deny-girls-the-evolutionary-wisdom-of-fairy-tales/

This comment is interesting to me because, as a millennial male, I’ve certainly noticed that a common formative experience among women from my peer group is identification (at least for some period of time in their lives) with the Disney princesses they grew up idolizing. I’ve always found it extraordinarily surprising that even a child could really identify with an animated character because despite the fact that I watched a lot of cartoons as a kid, I never actually wanted to be Wolverine or Spider-Man or Batman.

I’ve just found the key to the problem of millennial “males”. That last bit… this “man” was never a boy.

  22. Sexbots will come, and they will destroy life as you know it. I’m actually curious how women will change to compete with them. We’re seeing now what happens to men when government offers itself as a substitute husband.

Lesbianism, probably combined with a rise in matriarchal pagan religions.

  23. Lesbianism, probably combined with a rise in matriarchal pagan religions.

Clever, but wrong. The right answer is that they will be enslaved by the imported and invading muslim hordes.

  24. Drive that low is typically one of three things: depression, hormonal imbalances, or getting some on the down-low. Of course without both sides of the story, it’s hard to say…

  25. Any culture that develops and deploys sexbots will die out within a century.

  26. * invests in Subaru *

  27. Play is how children, any mammalian offspring really, learns to interact with the world. For children, playing war with your friends, pretending to be wolverine or spider-man or Batman, or even just pickup games of football, are ways that rehearse the kinds of behaviors that we want to have as adults: courage, loyalty, dedication, fairness, etc.

Fairy tales were a way for a culture to pass along important survival lessons, and to reinforce the common culture. As Chesterton said, the importance of fairy tales is not that they tell us dragons exist, but that they tell us dragons can be beaten.

As for girls wanting to be a princess, let them. Heck, use it as a teaching tool. She wants to be a princess? Well, a princess doesn’t just get to boss people around. A princess has to be gracious and selfless and neat in appearance. She has to be well read and well-spoken and kind to others, etc…

  28. I’ve known a few instances where medical issues is complicating the drive for men.

I had a friend, who’s husband made super risque comments about this wife among friends, etc, but she eventually divorced him because all he did was drink beer and pass out on the chair every night. That’s not the way he told it.

I’m just saying – I hear this and that story, and there is always his version, her version, and the truth. I don’t automatically just believe one.

Beside, what guy is going to admit he’s the one who’s not interested? He’s not. But I bet they’d join in on the “I never get it” crowd.

  29. Ack, drive that low in a man is a sign of some serious pathology. I’d have taken myself to the doctor if it were me.

The few times I’ve heard of something like this, it’s because either she let herself go, he let himself go, a serious medical issue, or there were other relationship issues that they wouldn’t address.

  30. Leon is right re: the muzzie horde. Betas will be enslaved by them and women (lesbian or not) will be used to further the hordes end goal. History is replete w/ that lesson.

  31. “City of Brass” by Kipling. All ye need know about our trajectory.

  32. From Tours to Lepanto –
I bet XBTC could write a pretty neat summary of that 800 ish year fight

  33. The only thing I know about Lepanto is the role the Rosary played in it.

  34. The few times I’ve heard of something like this, it’s because either she let herself go, he let himself go, a serious medical issue, or there were other relationship issues that they wouldn’t address.

/shrugs. I’m just saying. The one woman – did NOT let herself go. He had low drive, blamed her, and got himself a side bitch because I guess the thrill of something new got things working.

    You know. For a while.

The other man yes – has serious health issues.

But having a low drive isn’t exactly something men talk about with other men.

  35. The only thing I know about Lepanto is the role the Rosary played in it. your mom loved it.

  36. This post is dead.

  37. Advent penance service this evening. 7pm. I’m not sure if I’ll be ready or not, but I missed it on Saturday.

  38. How close are we to a coup? I peg it at 7 out of 10 glasses of Chardonnay.

  39. Depends on how it’s defined. I’d argue that Woodrow Wilson and FDR established the original coup with the creation and enshrinement of the deep state. Reagan and Trump were/are both attempted counter-coups using the remaining vestigial election infrastructure.

  40. why is colex trying to murder this amazing poat-de-resistance??

    hahahahahaaaa!!!!!

  43. Hmm, low sex drive in women after marriage seems to be accepted, in men, something is wrong. If it’s okay to divorce your husband for no sex, is it okay to divorce your wife because she doesn’t like sex?

  44. *important Brocav category update*

  45. the old-maid of honor at my wedding hated sex.
she would grudgingly let her husband “poke at her” on special occasions…
    they’re still happily married

    different strokes i guess

  46. Hmm, low sex drive in women after marriage seems to be accepted, in men, something is wrong. If it’s okay to divorce your husband for no sex, is it okay to divorce your wife because she doesn’t like sex?

I would think that denial of sex would constitute a form of cruelty. Furthermore, if you married a woman who subsequently told you that she didn’t like sex and didn’t want it, that might be considered fraud.

  47. “to have and to hold and to bang like rabbits from this day forward…”

we should write the official H2 wedding vows.

it’s not too late for j’brony to request a reset while the ink’s still wet

  48. I think the emphasis we place on sex in our lives has reached a unhealthy level. At this point I think we’ve reached almost a juvenile preoccupation of sex from a societal perspective.

  49. Why? Sex with your partner is fun.

Outside of that, then you get into trouble.

  50. CoAlex, last I checked the Catholic Church considers that grounds for annulment. English common law too, I think? Anyway it’s a traditional grounds for it.

  51. I think the emphasis we place on sex in our lives has reached a unhealthy level.

I just kinked my back reaching for that fruit. Somebody else will have to pile on.

J’Ames has fun with Troy’s partner????

This is some real college level dissemination, assface.

What I want to know is if you think the coup we are watching is likely to actually occur. As in, do you think Trump will be indicted or will be impeached?

I always thought no fucking way, until recently and I wonder if I’m just suffering from pessimism.

  54. your mom, too, pepe!

  55. You mean dissembling, MJ.

He won’t be impeached. They want to keep the house. They’ll say “we need to win the senate to impeach!” and use it for fundraising.

  56. Yeah, dissembling. Sorry.

    Indicted?

  57. No. They don’t want the precedent.

  58. you sure about the not impeached thing? There’s some crazies in there!

  59. Seeing the liveblogging on the Flynn sentencing hearing and Trump is well and truly fucked. The judge is openly wondering why there isn’t a treason charge on Flynn’s plea and the prosecutors are saying it wasn’t even considered. Which indicates Flynn gave them all up, Trump, the boys, Pence, e’erybody.

    echo chambers on left!

  60. The left doesn’t care about precedent. They continually believe that this time is the end of history and that they’ll never be out of power again.

  61. My prediction is 24 months of Democrat Failure Theater.

  62. And even if they weren’t, the GOPe shows no signs of having the spine and cojones to actually do such a thing.

  63. They continually believe that this time is the end of history and that they’ll never be out of power again.

That was the attitude Pelosi and Schumer had in their meeting with Trump, and he basically threw cold water on them. Quite funny.

  64. Just painted 6 doors. Nothing like freshly painted doors

  65. having another party, car in?

  66. If they vote to impeach, it will be in the lame duck session after Trump has won re-election. The senate will still be R at that point, so it’ll die there.

  67. crap, just noticed the comment header.

and “you people” wonder why it’s dead in here?

  68. didn’t seem to matter to them for judge voting, leon. They just don’t see things.

  69. No, they know that the GOPe won’t return the favor on judges, and running out the clock on them is to their benefit. I mean the legal precedent of indicting a sitting president.

  70. Fer crying out loud you toadstools ought to have had this banter before I tied the knot!

She actually mentioned that study about men being happy with sex more often but the one she saw on facedouche involved couples. Rather than say “No shit Dick Tracy, where’d you park the squad car?” I simply gave her a hug and said something about supporting scientific research at home or some other lame response that made me wonder how I’ve survived this long.

  71. aww, someone got home from school!

  72. Water pipe is busted down the road. I got frantic texts about no water and did you pay the bill etc. As I turned down my street I saw the end blocked off with traffic barrels and 4 or 5 pick up trucks clustered around a backhoe with the drivers watching a hole in the ground. There’s our answer. Hopefully I’m not showering at work tomorrow morning.

  73. What’s orange and sleeps 3?

    A DOT\Water department truck

  74. I was trying to think about the reaction to that. I’m actually quite convinced that a lot of people would show up in DC, armed.

And a fuck ton would show up is Trump asked them to which also seems very possible. He’s gonna fight to the death.

That seems like a tense situation.

  75. I just read Ace’s post.

    It’s a coup.

  76. All the righty sites seem to point to something very innocent. Granted, it’s the NYT, but this doesn’t sound like something innocent. Once again, common ground is in between.

  77. common ground is where the bodies lie waiting for burial

  78. re: the coup – the left NEEDS to impeach trump, it’s a pathology.

i actually hope they bring it to the floor by feb 2.

this party needs to get ta gettin’

the republicans won’t do shit about it either. they’re a bunch of feckless scumbags. i’ll wager jay’s fishnet stocking collection that at least 20 repunks will vote with the donkeys.

it wasn’t the repubes that won the house, senate, and presidency – it was the tea party.
then the filthy motherfuckers like ryan and mcconnell squandered our efforts.
i hope they burn in hell for their role in what’s coming

  79. ahh-ite back to boogers

  80. btw jay – i thought that mare already had the pole and that was why her daughter brought that sign home.

  81. This all seems so ridiculous that I can’t figure it out. We’re going to send a man to jail for not being clear enough about a conversation that he had which was his job at the time?

    It’s completely insane.

The correct narrative is that the ruling class is trying to further abuse the portion of the country that was tired of being abused.

    I’m sure that’ll end well.

  82. Jay, common ground??Bullshit. This was a political set up. If you think Flynn kind of sort of, maybe somewhere in the middle, sold out his country you’re mental.

  83. This is those who would be our masters punishing us for demanding that we have a say.

We’re a blink away from total war.

  84. OMG.

    WE are Spartacus.

  85. We are Andrew Jackson. Time to whittle some hickory.

  86. I don’t believe he sold out his country, knowing military types all my life. But knowing political types also, there has to be something there to make a judge squawk.

  87. Penny Marshall passed away. no crying in baseball!

  88. The comment thread at the HQ had some good theories, that the threat might be to Mueller by way of commenting as Sullivan did.

  89. No fucking way, leon. The judge has power and people with power like to use it.

  90. I had hope that something would be done about all the crimes committed by Hillary/Obama/the Political Establishment, but I think the opportunity has passed. I can only think that they are all in it together, or the various federal agencies have enough blackmail material to keep key players in line. Sessions could have cleaned out the FBI, but he didn’t do anything. Is he that inept? corrupt? being blackmailed? no idea.

Pretty sure Roberts was gotten to on the Obamacare decision. You could see that he didn’t even buy what he was saying.

  91. I guess we’ll find out in March.

  92. Done with classes for the next couple months, unless I get a dumb idea to capture some more certifications. Next class is in March. Thank goodness. I want to settle into a schedule, there’s no way to get used to working til midnight most of the time and then randomly sprinkling in some early AM punch ins. Screws up my sleep.

Other than that, my life is awesome and I’m the luckiest man alive.

Oh man, I made the most wonderful spinach and sausage pie yesterday. Scott is snarfing it and he doesn’t even like greens. I’ll put it on the recipe page.

  93. A local 12 year old kid stabbed his sister and then his mother. The sister died, mom is in the hospital recovering.

What do the parents do? Put him up for adoption? Take him back?

Maximum sentence he can get is 30 months probation.

  94. Boarding school? Some sort of halfway house?

  95. Judge will have pity on him, he’s his mother’s only child

  96. Is it hot where you are, jimbro? Seems like the flames would be high.

    Well played.

  109. Les Moonves had 4 staffers that were on call for beejers.

How many of those does one need? Like, who looks at a life where he has, say, 2 girls that will arrive at his office for a hummer on a few minutes’ notice, and says “no, not enough, I need more variety or something”.

  110. staffers

  111. The real question is why not five? One for each day of the week.

  112. I don’t believe most of those stories. CBS just wanted to make sure they didn’t have to pay him 120M.

  113. My secret santa box hasn’t barked once yet.

    I have to say … I’m a little disappointed.

  114. Where was he adopted from?

  116. it’s probably a basenji car’in

  117. laura i made the pizza dealio you linked –

  120. Glad it worked, Jam. I posted another recipe to the recipe site; the crust for a quiche, that I like even better, I’m going to use it for pizza from now on. Just has a lot more flavor from the parmesan and spices in it. Covers up the almond flour flavor.
