Guns are evil — but gangbangers with guns are awesome…

I have an idea for all of our politicians on the Hill that want to enact gun laws that only punish the innocent. Since I have no faith in the “you have to vote for the bill, to see what’s in it” crowd, I’ll also be happy to share with folks in all of the flyover redneck states that somehow manage to balance their budgets.

And since we have an Attorney General that has never seen a constitution that cannot be interpreted politically — would have to be up to individual State’s Attorneys and state legislators.

Force cities with high gun crime rates to enforce the gun laws already on the books and go after the criminals that commit 99.99% of gun crime.

Force those that violate the public trust and the oath of their office to be held accountable.

Those cities that choose not to enforce the law and make an effort to take ILLEGAL guns off the street will face incremental fines that go up as each crime with an illegal gun is committed. The law enforcement officials (talking to you Garry F. McCarthy) and mayor will be given warning and then also charged criminally for not enforcing the law by statute.

When you consider that 90% of the guns crimes in this country occur in cities with the toughest guns laws that are never enforced in high crime areas that are run by Democratic machines that would consider this political suicide — this might seem a pipe dream.

However, according to that great sage Saul Alinsky, this would be the perfect time to make this a wedge issue.

We must embrace legal gun control. Embrace it with everything that we have. End gun crime.

End it by taking illegal guns off the streets and by punishing those that refuse to do it.

Before you start going after the people that commit less than .004% of all gun crimes…

Enforce the fucking law as it stands.

This stops here.

We have an opportunity to take an issue and throw it in the face of the hypocrites.  They want to own this?

Lets feed it down their throat every crime committed by an illegal gun owner in their districts at a time.  Not hard to follow this.  Also not hard to keep up with legal gun owners that defend themselves — it’s starting to get momentum.

Since this is The Hostages……a video of a young Sean smashing the crap out of a xylophone

I now return you to your normal Hostages channel.

  1. Hi snausages, hijacking the venue for a minute. Hope you don’t mind.

SINCE I STARTED THE DAMNED THING!

  2. Can you feel it, see it, derp it today?
If you can’t, then it doesn’t matter anyway
You will never understand it ’cause it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it’s like walking on glass

  3. It’s so cool, it’s so hip, it’s alright
It’s so nerpy, it’s outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, uncomfortable hug it
But it makes no difference cuz it knocks you off your feet
You want it all but you can’t have it

And once again I wake up bleedin’, lying on the floor

Why is there a lion and a baby in the fucking bathroom?

Conrad, I thought you were over this shit!

  4. I am so confused

  5. Great idea mesa. We hear all about “bad” guns but never the context.

  15. Bewbs have been pushed back and to the left and right, respectively. Should drop around noon, so we can continue to smear feces on Mesablue’s common sense gun violence solutions poat.

It is too bad that ‘gun control’ in the eyes of liberals has nothing to do with gun violence against innocent, law abiding citizens, and everything to do with control and conquer.

  16. Miss Alabama has nice hub-bub’s, very nice indeed. That’s all I’m saying before I enter Musburger territory

  17. I think Al Roker is stinking up the place.

  18. I don’t want to live in a world where saying Miss Alabama is pretty is somehow offensive.

  19. Or a world where I need to know that a surgically-altered fatass had a shart in the White House.

  20. Leon, how’s your sixpack abs project coming along?

I haven’t seen any updates to your POL.

  24. ALERT!
A comment related to Mesa’s post!

The historical reality of the Second Amendment’s protection of the right to keep and bear arms is not that it protects the right to shoot deer. It protects the right to shoot tyrants, and it protects the right to shoot at them effectively, with the same instruments they would use upon us.

Is from an excellent primer on American thought by Judge Napolitano

  27. Sorry Jay I will be back to making haboob remarks soon.

  28. Now the site has photos. They’re hilarious.

  29. Just saw the headline on the news dump about electronic records not saving money.

We just went live with electronic consent for procedures and they have sent out 1 or 2 emails a day with urgent updates to fix fuckups experienced by users. This was purchased as ready to go technology. Someone did not do due diligence. We have several well paid IT and Nurse Manager types working on it. Tell me what was wrong with paper consents again?

  30. You were killing the planet with the paper ones,

(Ignores the 3 hard copies of electronic consent forms that go to 3 different folders.)

  31. Ga. don’t get me started.

If you’ve been to a doctor recently, you will note that the majority of your visit is taken up by the collection of information via a laptop. Over and over. Useless questions that must be asked before the next page can be begun.

And if you go back in a month? It begins again. Same page after page to “insure that nothing has changed.”

We’re paying doctors to do THIS instead of medicine.

  32. Paper is surprisingly resilient to software maladies.

  33. My veterinarian keeps only paper records. Unless there’s a fire, he’ll be fine.

  34. Car in, don’t start.

  35. Too late.

  36. I focus on my patients during our visits and as a result end up staying late to finish charts. I have a Nurse Practitioner working with me and we share the notes. Before that I’d be there until 7PM for an office that got done at 430. She is also good to talk me down after I go on a rant about irresponsibility after I deal with yet another another dumb ass parent (sic).

letter to garcia letter to garcia letter to garcia

    There, all better now.

  37. My veterinarian keeps only paper records. Unless there’s a fire, he’ll be fine.

That was inspiring and sad, xbrad.
I’m looking at it thinking nowadays.. pffffffttttt, maybe some in the military.

  42. So the official number is 34 raped and 450 attacked by Jimmy Savile. What a fucking monstrosity…

  43. Re:Message to Garcia- now you see why so many of us loved Lex.

Also, there’s the flip side of the coin- Lex not only let his youngster carry a message to Garcia, he made him do it.

There’s an awful lot of leaders, military and otherwise, that won’t do that. They claim to want you to show initiative, but then micromanage every task they give you. It’s infuriating.

I do remember on particular platoon sergeant that was very good about giving me an order, and getting the hell out of the way. Almost inevitably, I screwed up a few times, but he had my back. No one was killed and no million dollar losses were incurred, I learned, and he learned I’d keep trying.

  44. . Right now, one of my biggest frustrations with health care is HIPPA. Doctors refer you to a specialist, and then never send over your records, magically having lost the damn release form, or just completely forgetting to do it.

  45. Yeah, we had to be vigilant on ourselves raising the kids, when we’d send them on little missions the conversation often ended (mostly with one of them) “figure it out.”

  46. There are so many red flags here and that’s before you hear about the abuse:

  50. “Why is WordShart making me log in?”

    It can sense evil?

  51. Napalitano stated that brilliantly Vman:

The historical reality of the Second Amendment’s protection of the right to keep and bear arms is not that it protects the right to shoot deer. It protects the right to shoot tyrants, and it protects the right to shoot at them effectively, with the same instruments they would use upon us.

  52. One of my favorite Patton quotes “Don’t tell people how to do something, tell em what has to be done, and they will surprise you with their ingenouity.”

Probably something that irritates my teammates, I’m often guilty of saying “I’m not going to tell you how to do it, I’m just telling you this has to be done. You get to figure out how.”
