  2. No, I am not going to tweet your dick.

    Not for free anyways.

  3. I will tweet Cyn’s dick.

  4. AWESOME!

    Wait…wut?

  5. I think I’ve only tweeted three times. And I probably screwed up every one of them. At least I know not to tweet my ladybits. to anyone. at anytime. ever.

  6. One thing Michael missed is obvious plumbing and or bug issues.

Do not have any bug sprays visible, or containers to catch drips under sinks, or signs of water damage.

Noted. That’s why I’m getting the gutters done, even if a bit pricy, they’re not doing a great job. There shouldn’t be anything left in the house by the time I have people touring it.

Sergeant First Class Petry will receive the Medal of Honor for his courageous actions during combat operations against an armed enemy in Paktya, Afghanistan in May, 2008. He will be the second living, active duty service member to be awarded the Medal of Honor for actions in Iraq or Afghanistan. 10. Beasn, another program you might look into is CCleaner. It will enable you to clean up temporary internet files, the registry, etc. It works well, and I use it all the time. Also Spybot, and AdAware.

There are some good free antivirus programs out there, too. Avast and AVG are two 3rd party AV systems. I’ve used both, and they work well. Microsoft also has a free one, that works well on my work laptop (crappy one I use for off premise access).

Cyn has given you great advice, and I just wanted to add some options for you.

It’s hard to remember the rules, when the MFM has had your back for years. He’s probably never had to answer a hard question before, outside of Megyn Kelly’s program.

  38. NICE!!!

    MCPO!

  39. Leon, Michael has given up Dana for Cathy.

    Who told you that?

  40. Evening, folks. 4 hour drive to Miami. No coke deals or anything cool.

  41. Count claimed Dana YEARS ago

  42. PA UPDATE: Cathy just called to say that she’s arrived at the hospital and will give us any more updates when she gets them.

  43. Evening, folks. 4 hour drive to Miami. No coke deals or anything cool.

You could always crash someone else’s deal.

  44. I am within $250 of buying a 08 Tundra doublecab today….er tomorrow. And I am very close to buying a 02 Camry for $4k
In other words, I made nothing today, but tomorrow has potential!

  45. No coke deals or anything cool.

You have now reached your full potential. Welcome to the Moronosphere.

  46. If you can’t make Miami in 3 MJ you ain’t tryin!

  47. Now that I know that Cathy hates me, I will be back in the Dana Perino camp.

    I will fight for her.

  48. Remember Vman: Coffee’s for closers only.

  49. I made a wrong turn leaving the Miami airport years ago.

You don’t want to do that.

  50. I’m out. I will check in for updates later.

  51. Traffic. I haven’t had time to go through your email yet, but I will once I have a moment.

  52. Recalculates, If you take the skyway down to 75 maybe add a half hour MJ.

If you take the Frankland to the crosstown to Brandon 4 hrs works.

  53. Bye Sohos! *waves off with kisses*

  54. Coffee’s for closers only.
is 2 mugs a day enough Tiger hottie?

  55. Dave,
The last time I drove through Miami, Rick Ross was in concert and plastered on all the light posts.

    I was confused.

  56. You are rocking Vmax! Rawr!

  57. I took 75. Easy ride.

  58. Business or pleasure MJ?

  59. I made a wrong turn out in LA once. Hello Compton!

  60. HAH.. I’ll bet Vmax

  61. Business, Cyn. I have to be here every other week for the next six months.

    Feeling better?

  62. No Problem MJ. I talked to my boss today and he said as long as you agree to buy for the quoted price. I can buy a $70k car.

It ties up funds that could be buying 7 $10k cars. But summer is slower than most other seasons, so we have some money to spare. Now.

  63. Finally feeling better, thank you MJ. You seeing any more tigers in your bathroom?

  64. Heh, best hangover comment ever!

  65. No tigers. I actually stayed home this Saturday because I didn’t feel like drinking. You guys used me up.

  66. Found Paul’s old phone; DD#3 was having a fit because “You said I could text now, and the phone won’t send my texts!!!!!!”; Paul in bad mood because daughter can’t wait 10 freaking minutes for mom to finish her dinner; crisis averted with call to phone company.

All’s right with the TiFW world.
    For now…..

  67. I think he was still, shall we say, intoxicated, perhaps.

  68. You guys used me up.

Actually, it was all of us “women of a certain age” that did the “using”, but that shall remain our little secret…. 😉

  69. My sobriety account was hacked. Not my fault.

  70. I’m just sort of freaking-out and bordering on getting drunk here, waiting for an update from Cathy!
I’m so afraid for our friend, and for her family.
We’ve been praying hard, as I know some of you have been.
Perhaps, it’s a lack of faith, on my part. I don’t know. I always question that.
    I’m just scared shit-less for her…
    Sorry.
    Back to our regular programming…

  71. According to to this;
    I am better than most.
    http://chartsbin.com/view/1016

  72. Vman – I call bullshit on the map. . . I’ve been to Iceland – they drink like fish.

  73. Vman, I guess I’m in Russia….

  74. ChrisP, if it’s any help, ever since PattyAnn made it through that first day/night OK, I’ve had a “peaceful” feeling about the whole situation. I’ve always thought that was the Big Guy putting me at ease about things (and when things have gone bad, I’ve had a bad feeling…..).

I went to see PattyAnn a couple of days ago, and let me tell you, if anyone can make it through a situation like this, it’s that lady. She is made of strong stuff, and her attitude is nothing short of spectacular. She isn’t going to give up without a heck of a fight.

But it’s not a lack of faith on your part, dear one – it’s a whole lot of concern for someone you love. Don’t despair – everything is going to be OK…..

  75. “I’m just sort of freaking-out”
Roger that buckaroo. Time to be still and quiet. Hold on to the hand rails.
    It’s getting harder to breathe.

  76. TiFw,
    Thank you for the reassurance.
I’m just so scared for her and her family.
We’re praying for her here, and for the doctors, not to screw this up.

  77. And there probably isn’t going to be that much to “hear” tonight – at most, we’ll hear whether or not she has woken up from anesthesia. She’s gonna be in and out until tomorrow morning – probably much more “out” than “in” – and she’s going to be on a morphine pump for another couple of days, so she’s going to be doing a LOT of sleeping.

It’s going to be another couple of days before we know if infection is a problem, and another couple of weeks before we know if the graft is taking, and she is on the road to a happy recovery.

    Get some rest tonight –

  78. *streaks thru the blog, waiving coconuts in the air*

  79. TiFW,
Don’t you get it? I WANT IT NOW!
    Instant gratification!
Just kidding. I know what’s going on, and I’m just hoping for assurance that she’s going to ‘Be Fine’.
I realize that it’s not going to be forthcoming, but I can wish, can’t I?
    Wishes are still okay?
    Sigh…

  80. Understood, ChrisP, and believe me, I’m right there with you on the worrying. Funny thing is, though, I don’t have that “pit” in my stomach that I normally do in situations like this, which tells me things are OK for now.

Yes, I’m scared for her and for her family, but I just know that everything is going to work out OK for PA and her family. I don’t know how to explain it – it just “is”…..

We’ll all keep on praying – Lord knows, with as many people as are sending up prayers right now, God’s getting a real earful!

But if it helps, this is the Scripture that has gotten me through more “valleys” than I can count:

    “For I know the plans I have for you, sayeth the Lord;
    Plans to prosper you and not to harm you;
Plans to give you a hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 39:11

That’s one of the only Bible verses I know by heart…..

  81. “I made a wrong turn leaving the Miami airport years ago.”

“You don’t want to do that.”

    That’s a big 10-4!

  82. **waits patiently for topless TigerCyn to make a return trip**

  83. “My sobriety account was hacked. Not my fault.”

Ha! MJ, is a funny douche!

  84. Don’t you get it? I WANT IT NOW!
…..I know what’s going on, and I’m just hoping for assurance that she’s going to ‘Be Fine’.
I realize that it’s not going to be forthcoming, but I can wish, can’t I?
    ….Sigh…

I get it more than you can possibly imagine, Chris – when we first got Rebecca’s diagnosis (of Down syndrome), that’s all I could think about for about 6-8 months: “I just want to know that she’s going to be OK.”

Which is probably why I am calmer about this than I would have been 10 years ago – I know that the only thing that will make things OK is time, and that can’t be rushed.

And what got me through some of those days was the realization that if I knew that everything WASN’T going to be OK, that would make things even worse.

One of the best quotes I’ve run across is from another mom of a child with DS:

    “God doesn’t call the equipped;
He equips those that he calls.”

Nobody ever thinks that they are in one of “those” families – you know, the ones that you think about when you think about “special” families. What they realize as time goes on is that NOBODY starts out as one of “those” families – they’re all “made”…..

PattyAnn is one of “those” people – and her family is one of “those” families; you deal with a bad situation because you really have no other choice…..

  85. TiFW,
Lookin’ at MY copy, I don’t see what you quoted in 39:11, but I’ll keep lookin’.

  86. And with another one of my “signature” TiFW comments, I am outta here for the evening – love to all, and special kisses to PattyAnn and her family from the TiFW family…..

  87. Whoops – that was Jeremiah 29:11 (forgive me; it’s been a long day…..) 😉

(And I like the more lyrical interpretations of scriptures – none of this New Age stuff!)

  88. TiFW, marry me!
    I will garden for fude!

  89. UPDATE FROM CATHY on PATTYANN:
Surgeon came out and talked at length with John. John then came and shared some of the details with us. PattyAnn is stable and returning to her room, but will be heavily sedated and they don’t want her to have a lot of visitors… so I’m not going to try and see her tonight.

They needed to use arteries from a cadaver because her own veins were simply not healthy/good enough to do the needed work. This is good because the surgeon was concerned that the veins would not be able to handle the volume of blood flow.

She had a very challenging surgery. There were some complications but they anticipated them and were able to call in specialitst to address them and they were dealt with.

The next 48 hours are crucial. So LOTS OF PRAYERS are requested, folks.

There are some issues too with the healing of her amputation, but that will be addressed in the coming days.

John and his sister, Joyce, will be very busy people assisting PattyAnn, who will be in incredible discomfort… so please also keep them in your prayers.

  90. Great news about PattyAnn – and now, I really am going to bed…..

  91. *sees xbrad look away, streaks back other direction*

  92. Hah! I SAW that!

  93. I don’t know what brought on the streaking, but I approve!

Just as long as xbrad doesn’t do it.

  94. Graham’s watching One Tree Hill. Where is b-rad so I can shoot him?

I’m pretty sure this is his fault.

  95. Nevermind. He just said it was retarded.

    I feel better now.

funny he’s not turning the channel though. hhhhmmmm

  96. I’m right here, PJ.

    But I didn’t send him a link or a DVD, I swear.

Lucas stabs Nathan with a trident.

  97. Nathan probably deserved it.

  98. Anybody home?

  99. OHAI, Roamy.

  100. No one DESERVES a trident.

  101. Some girl was pregnant

and some girl and guy were on a beach and the guy is going away and the girl was sobbing at him to please come back to her

  102. I think I killed a guy with a trident.

  103. XBrad, if I get you for secret Santa this year, I swear I’m going to find or make a trident for you.

  104. Was she singing this, peej?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZM24VSDmpw&feature=share

  105. Pardon me, that should have been: “Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.”

  106. Did someone say “Trident?”

  107. Was she singing this, peej?

    hahahaha, no.

  108. Jeezus, I’m watching a documentary on the Korean War, and that shit was brutal.

It’s a shame that hardly anybody talks about that conflict at all.

  109. There’s not a lot of good uplifting stories out of Korea…

  110. This is what I’m watching.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1935816/

    Like I said, brutal.

  111. I’ll have to look for that Sean.

    How did you find it>?

  112. It’s on one of the local public TV stations right now.

  113. Cool.

  114. Wasn’t M.A.S.H. about the Korean war? Looked like fun to me. You had Clinger and Radar and Hot Lips Hoolihan.

    Sean, I think you’re a liar.

  115. This was after Alan Alda got behind the camera and started directing episodes.

  116. I just got home from the hospital. Spent some time with Joyce, John’s sis and then John and a few other family members. John FINALLY went home to sleep in his own bed. He seemed to have a major weight off this shoulders and I sure hope he can get some good solid hours of sleep and wake up refreshed.

John wanted me to go into PattyAnn’s room with Joyce for awhile, so I did just that and stayed until about midnight. There were about 4-5 medical personnel working on her, adjusting lines, getting readings, etc. including her attending nurse, a respiratory therapist, the charge nurse, and an additional nurse who was helping. Wow. Lots to do. Joyce is spending the night in the room. PattyAnn is in good hands.

  117. Preferred early versions of M.A.S.H. where Hawkeye was kind of a womanizer and a hell of a lot more fun.

  118. You’re a good person, Cathy.

  119. My brother’s always been a big fan of the show. Me, I liked the movie better.

  120. I liked the movie better too. They probably had to tone the sexy stuff down a bit to get it on TV.

  121. Sean, I moved a wood pile a few days ago only to find a toad at the bottom. I thought of you.

  122. I hope you didn’t touch it. You might have seen…things.

  123. No touch. I did talk to him. I told him Sean was lookin’ for him. He ran for cover somewhere else.

    Going to bed.

    G’night.

  124. Nitey-nite, Cathy.

  125. Aw, shit. Just me and the little fella.

    *licks toad*

  126. YOU ARE IN A DUNGEON.

    THERE IS A KEY.

THERE ARE DOORS TO THE NORTH AND TO THE SOUTH.

    >>pick up key

    >>open north door

  127. NORTH DOOR IS LOCKED.

    >>open south door

    SOUTH DOOR OPENS.

    >>enter south room

  128. SOUTH ROOM CONTAINS SWORD OF GRAXXONIX.

    >>pick up sword

YOU NOW HAVE SWORD OF GRAXXONIX.

    EAST DOOR IS OPEN.

  129. >>enter east door

    GRAXXONIX SITS IN THRONE ROOM.

  130. >>”um, hey”

  131. >>”cough politely”

  132. I DON’T KNOW HOW TO COUGH POLITELY.

    GRAXXONIX IS WATCHING YOU CLOSELY.

    >>

  133. I’m feeling paunch-y today. I love the Indian buffet, but I bloat from the saltiness every time.

  134. Watching Wiener Eye from last night. I’ve not seen Greg this happy in awhile.

I wonder how many schadenboners have been tweeted over this story.

  135. Heh, I can’t wait to see that episode, leon. I’m sure it’s hilarious.

  136. That is good news from Cathy about out PA

  137. you guys are still on this stinky old poat?

    Whateve. HHD all to myself.

    And Leon.
