Have You Seen My Red, White and Blue Skort?

I look forward to President Jim Jones Barack Obama starting a new July 4th tradition of thanking the Muslim community for their substantial contributions to our great country.

Even the Chinese have contributed to our Independence Day!

If you don’t grill this weekend, you’re CROSSING THE LINE!!!!

[UPDATE]

I made this as a comment but I thought I would add it here.  Feel free to add to it as MCPO and BiW did or come up with a list of your own.

Here’s my list of ten reasons why America kicks ass.

(1) Muscle cars, past, present and future (you ain’t getting rid of those Prez Jones).

(2) Elvis Presley.

(3) More ICBMs than you can build in the next 50 years.  And ours work, Nork.

(4) Sharp shooters that will split the heads of pirates in a boat rocking on the ocean.

(5) Van Halen which kicks so much ass, there are two versions that rock. Yeah the Van Halen brothers were born in Amsterdam. What of it?

(6) You don’t need no stinking college degree to become billionaire.

(7) The fucking webtubes.

(8) If you kill someone, we’ll give you the right to a fair trail and then fucking kill you.

(9) Unless you’re in the Nancy states, you never know who’s packing heat.

(10) We respect marriage and religion but still like ourselves some porn.

(11) Our military will kill the bad guys and then feed the good guys.

This is America so I listed eleven things. Now you other countries GET US A FUCKING JUICE BOX!!!!

  9. Shim,
I prefer hardcore punk to metal, but Zombie has always sounded good to me, not the usual metal sound.

  10. Grilled ham sounds awesome. I wonder if I can get my hands on a Black Forest ham.

  11. I wonder if I can get my hands on a Black Forest ham.

Have you tried the Black Forest?

    RACIST!!!!!

  12. Vmax, what are you and the dawgs doing this weekend?

  13. I’m off on the fourth! YAY me!

    Mr. Beasn is cooking dinner.

I was informed today that the drama queen I work with – bleach blonde granny with a deep tan – was overheard telling others that I could learn a few lessons in manners from my son because she likes my son due to his good manners, but the mother (me) needs some manners. WTF? The lady who informed me, asked her ‘What did you say?’ and the bat clammed up.
    1. I’ve never interacted with her because she is a drama queen annoying the hell out of everyone.
    2. Who does she think taught my boy his manners?
    3. She’s already gone off on someone else for no reason and then stormed off saying she doesn’t need the drama. WTF?
    4. Because of her bullsh*t, our schedules are changing and we have to come in earlier or span a later-ruin-your-day time slot.

Here is some excellent ski porn and is a good example of the park kids taking it back up into the mountains. Tanner Hall was THE park rat, now is making a name for himself skiing the tough stuff.

The cool kids ski, snowboarding is for wieners.

My son wants to be one of these guys one day, scares the shit out of me.

You all have a great weekend, I am going mountain biking.

    Seriously, happy 4th!

  15. Have a great 4th Uniball. Tell the kid that he could do that if he pads himself, front and back, with a mattress.

  16. I have a nice Delmonico Steak and charcoal, and Booze. That is the extent of my plans at this point.

  17. Beasn – You want I should come up there?

  18. I have a nice Delmonico Steak and charcoal, and Booze.

Gas grills are for pussified little twerps.

  19. HA! I’m the featured blog the wordpress category of blogs about shame!

    I rock!!!!

  20. I use gas on the weeknights when i do not have time to use the chimney and play with the fire. But on days when I have time? I have Charcoal.

  21. Where have you been leon?

London and Paris. First vacation in 10 years, “honeymoon” for me and the wife, 3.5 years late.

  22. Here’s my list of ten reasons why America kicks ass.

    (9) The fact that, unless you’re in the Nancy states, you never know who’s packing heat.

    (10) The fact we respect marriage and religion but still like some porn.

    (11) Our military will kill the bad guys and then help feed the good guys.

This is America so I listed eleven things. Now you other countries GET US A FUCKING JUICE BOX!!!!

  23. Actually gas grills aren’t bad if you use some woodchips to smoke the fixins.

  24. 12. We have more airpower on our aircraft carriers alone, than the rest of the world’s air forces!

  25. Rosetta, I wrote a brief but sincere Birthday Greeting for you on “Thursday’s Foreignotica.” Sorry I missed your birthday.

  26. I have a nice Delmonico Steak and charcoal, and Booze. That is the extent of my plans at this point.

If you get a lady friend to join the fun, you have the makings of an excellent weekend my friend.

  27. Rosetta, I wrote a brief but sincere Birthday Greeting for you on “Thursday’s Foreignotica.” Sorry I missed your birthday.

    I’ll check it out.

    brb

  28. 13. Despite a new era of “jugheadocracy”, the rest of the world still looks to us as the innovators.

  29. Hey Mare, thank you for my birthday present comment. It was excellent.

Tourettes Guy, boobs and teh kittehs…..does not get better than that. Hahaha.

    XOXOXOXOXOXO

  30. I’m kind of sorry I missed the flame thread. Reading Sohos go flamey was fantastic!

  31. Go to go to the store.

    brb

  32. Beasn – You want I should come up there?

Yes please. Bring your 7’5″ frame of manliness up and kick some battle-ass for me. I’m more askeered of zitchy wimmin than men.

  33. I’m kind of sorry I missed the flame thread.

We’ll have another one of those. It was great fun.

I can’t wait to get flamed by Mare. Hahahaha.

  34. 7’5″? That’s just not fair.

  35. Nice job on the honeymoon, leon. That’s awesome. I’m sure it was a blast.

That should keep Mrs. leon on your good side for at least another few weeks. Haha.

  36. So Rosie, how old are you now? Old enough to go scootering with MCPO? Old enough to no longer clean your own diaper?

  37. That should keep Mrs. leon on your good side for at least another few weeks. Haha.

Yes, I’m pretty sure my wife points are in the triple digits at the moment.

  38. Leon, ditto what Rosilita said.

That should keep Mrs. leon on your good side for at least another few weeks. Haha.

So my store (me) makes some fancy pants individual desserts for an awesome price and I talked a guy into buying one, not only for himself, but for his sweetheart, whom, I was informed, had him in the dog house.

  39. So my store (me) makes some fancy pants individual desserts for an awesome price and I talked a guy into buying one, not only for himself, but for his sweetheart, whom, I was informed, had him in the dog house.

Haha. It’s funny because it’s not me.

  40. Beasn – You gotta FaceChimp page?

  41. Hellooooooo!

Shimmy, I read that website page about your grandfather–those are letters he wrote home? I loved reading it.

  42. howdy y’all!

  43. Buenas, Sohita!

  44. I’m so excited an office I have never seen is on…my life is sad

  45. HUH????

  46. So Rosie, how old are you now? Old enough to go scootering with MCPO? Old enough to no longer clean your own diaper?

I’m 40 so I can legally start hitting you with my cane and forget to wear pants.

  47. Are you really 40? I thought you were 39.

  48. 40 was a good year…what I can remember of it (seems like a long time ago).

  49. Wow
they just played the 911 call about the snake killing the baby.
    What a ass clown

  50. Are you really 40? I thought you were 39.

I was on June 16th. Now I’m an immature 40 years old.

Don’t you turn 39 soon, butterbean?

  51. (12) Our country is kick ass because there is literally nothing we can’t do when we put our ingenuity and spirit behind it.

  52. June 16 was the 10th anniversary of Rosetta’s 39th birthday.

  53. yes….39….ick….

  54. 40 was a good year…what I can remember of it (seems like a long time ago).

How old are you Mare? 40 wasn’t that long ago for you, jackleg And why are you not on the birthday list?

You better tell me your birthday right now before something bad happens.

  55. Nina said that 40 is the new 30 so really I am older this year than I will be next year…I like the way she thinks.

  56. June 16 was the 10th anniversary of Rosetta’s 39th birthday.

    Hahahaha. SHUT IT OLD MAN!!!!!

  57. My 20s were better than my teens (except for the first time I touched a boob) and my 30s were better than my 20s. So I’m actually cool with turning 40. This is the decade where I take over the world.

  58. 40 doesnt scare me but 39 does and I dont know why that is

  59. Oh yay! I haven’t seen this episode of The Office either.

  60. Gotta feeling 21 is gonna be a good year. . .

  61. (12) Our country is kick ass because there is literally nothing we can’t do when we put our ingenuity and spirit behind it.

I just thought of this a minute ago. You know how all Israelis have to serve in the military? I think in this country, between the ages of 18 and 25, everyone should be required to start a company and try to make it a going concern. You don’t have to make a lot of money; just make enough to keep doing what you’re doing.

In this country you can have an idea, pay $50 and set up a company. The rest is up to you. The fact it is so easy to do that in this country whereas in other countries it’s illegal is crazy to me.

More people should try it than do. It’s better than working in a cubicle for some jackoff.

  62. The only way MCPOld is gonna be 21is if we’re talking dog years

  63. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTgLQgpwRvQ&feature=related

    For your listening pleasure

  64. I like that idea, Rosetta

  65. ‘Cano – Get any sand in your schlitz today?

  66. I’m considering starting my own company, but the only product offering I can think of is writing new device drivers for orphaned hardware.

  67. 40 doesnt scare me but 39 does and I dont know why that is

You must have the same mental problem I do. I’ve been alive for 40 years but that’s off by a good 15 to 20 years compared to how I feel.

It’s just weird. Meh. I plan on having more fun and doing more at 40 than I did at 39.

  68. Bit early for beer, though it is a holiday, so I’ll get back to you in a bit

  69. God Bless America!!!

I have to say that on gloriously beautiful days like today, I feel like the luckiest woman alive.

    I have a great life. I can’t complain

  70. you live in a garage. you can complain. but i see what you’re saying

  71. do we have good news peej?

  72. NO!!!!!

you let me be in denial!!!!

  73. Bit early for beer, though it is a holiday, so I’ll get back to you in a bit

Early for beer? HAHAHA! Good one. Happy 4th weekend, punk.

  74. You know what ‘Cano a garage in America is better than a house in a lot of countries. God Bless America!

  75. It could be worse. There could be people using my hand towels!!

  76. Beasn – You gotta FaceChimp page?

    Sort of kind of.

  77. no sojos (see how espanol I am?) we wont’ find out till next wednesday

but……….I went to the beach with the ga-ga’s and my girlfriend Linda, had some margaritas on the beach and just enjoyed a glorious day.

    it made my heart soar

you live in a garage. you can complain.

I know you were being sweet by saying that and by mid-august, I might take you up on the complaining offer 😉

  78. I fully believe that we go through hard times so that we can appreciate the blessings in our life.

  79. I’m considering starting my own company, but the only product offering I can think of is writing new device drivers for orphaned hardware.

You could plan honeymoons for lazy guys.

You could also invent a pillow that always stays cold. I would pay big bucks for that.

  80. Yea, sohos, I know what you’re saying. I’ve been around. I live in probably (parts of West Virginia excluded) the most third world part of the US, and it’s pretty ok.

  81. Don’t you let them shame you about your FB page beasn!!!

  82. Rosie, those buckwheat-hull pillows do a fairly good job of staying cool. But you’ve got yer melon on a sack of buckwheat hulls, so, y’know, tradeoffs.

  83. Okay, time to go watch movies with the Mrs while my torrents roll in.

  84. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?!

ok, now I’m complaining. What kind of country is this where I can’t get papa john’s delivered to my home? I don’t want to have to put a bra on to pick it up myself.

    that shit ain’t right

  85. If someone makes that cold pillow, I’m in for a few.

  86. I’m 40 so I can legally start hitting you with my cane and forget to wear pants.

So nothing much is going to change this year.

We, Mr. Beasn and myself, are already warning our kids that once we are at the scooter stage, to please make sure we remember our pants before we walk out the door. The way we are going now, it ain’t gonna be pretty then.

  87. Yeah and I honestly like cool toilets seats as well. Not cold, but cool. If it’s warm, I know someone’s been sitting on it for a while and that grosses me out

  88. Americano,
Where did you live before you moved to a island?

  89. I seriously need help right now

    which ones better

    Pizza hut or Dominos?

I’ve been getting the giant pizza king crap, but they stopped using real cheese so I have to move on

  90. Rosie, those buckwheat-hull pillows do a fairly good job of staying cool. But you’ve got yer melon on a sack of buckwheat hulls, so, y’know, tradeoffs.

I don’t know what buckwheat-hulls are but they sound racist.

    O-TAY!!!

  91. I fully believe that we go through hard times so that we can appreciate the blessings in our life.

Yes indeed. And it is an awful thing to protect people from such lessons.

Besides, Peej has a gorgeous husband, and four adorable monsters. PJM, you are a lucky woman. I’d almost do anything to have a couple more myself..

  92. I have posted this before but I like it
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hnMgIOnjMs

  93. Good idea, Rosetta. Make everyone find out how HARD, F’ING HARD it is to run your own business or any business.

    I’m 48 and will be 49 on August 9th.

  94. Pizza hut or Dominos?

What is this? College? Get Pizza Slut! Get the super supreme, thin crust, with extra sause and extra cheese.

If you don’t like that I will drive to California and eat it.

  95. You are 8 months older than me Mare.

  96. I have been spending a lot of time reading the old posts that I missed while away. Holy crap did I miss some fun.

  97. O-TAY!!!

Buckwheat and Stymy were my favoritist Little Rascals.

Heh. One episode, the kids were out camping and got scared by the floating white glowy things coming at them and it turned out to be Buckwheat walking into camp. HAHAHAHAHA…

  98. “You are 8 months older than me Mare.”

Now don’t make me cuff your ear when you back sass, Vmax.

  99. Upper Flyover.

  100. If I could eat it, I would go with Pizza Hut.

  101. Porknbseaeseaeaaa, I always enjoy your comments/rants about Obama. Yes, yes he is a prick.

  102. pizza hut it is!

Besides, Peej has a gorgeous husband, and four adorable monsters. PJM, you are a lucky woman. I’d almost do anything to have a couple more myself.

it’s been a long haul getting here, but life is good……….and will be better when the pizza’s here

  103. I’ve never met a pizza I didn’t like.

  104. “I’d almost do anything to have a couple more myself.”

    Right there with you, porknebssesesnnnn

  105. Nirvana
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOL5cpwTkes&feature=related

If that makes you a old lady Mare I am ok with that.

    Upper flyover!
    Ha!

  106. Hahahahaahahaha, when I went to the Urban Dictionary to find out what Upper Flyover meant, it popped up Upper Deck…hahahahahahaha

    Bastards!!!

  107. Any pizza with pineapple on it is, by definition, a bad pizza, not to be liked.

  108. Seriously, pineapple on pizza, or burgers. ick.

  109. I’m 48 and will be 49 on August 9th.

EXCELLENT!!! You will have a birthday beating in two months.

*rubs hands together in a menacing manner*

Make everyone find out how HARD, F’ING HARD it is to run your own business or any business.

I actually have a different take on it. If you choose the business and YOU’RE responsible, it can be a wonderful life. It would be like a parent pushing you in the deep end once they know you can swim. Some people are just afraid to make the leap.

For some people, and I’m in this group, it’s fucking hard having someone else telling you what time to show up, when to eat lunch, what to do every minute of the day in some job you hate. I did that for a while I HATED IT!!!!

I know there are people that fall into that life because they think that’s what they’re supposed to do. I firmly believe if people had to start a company and give it a go for a year, a lot of them would realize that it’s not all that hard.

It’s not easy but working for the man isn’t either.

  110. the fake cheese they use on pizza’s nowadays is scusting

  111. multi grain pizza?

    ewwwwwwww, just ewwwwwww

  112. Plus when you have a business, paying taxes isn’t nearly as mindless.

That’s why my idea will never happen.

    *shakes fist at sky*

    GUBMIT CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!

  113. I really think that the next time the republicans (or whatever the fiscally responsible party is then) get a majority in congress, they should make election day a week after tax day.

Or, we could do a constitutional amendment……

  114. what up douche water guzzlers?

  115. Right there with you, porknebssesesnnnn

The thing is mare, now at our age and our kidses ages, when you begin to see the payoff for all of the hard work of raising them and training them to be good people, and seeing what truly wonderful beings they are – after kissing them silly as babies and chirrens – it makes it more the poignant.

I really really like my kids and wish I could have given them more siblings. Our extended family isn’t very big and once the Mr. and myself are gone, they will only have each other.

    *sigh*

I sure hope I get some grandkids before I totally go senile.

  116. TBOM, I’m getting ready to read your book.

  117. Pink Floyd
    SR-71
    Can it get any better?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlJNYxoBX6w&feature=related

  118. You will have a birthday beating in two months.

    Or a month. WHATEVER!!!!

    TBoM, shut up.

  119. ahhhhhh… back from dinner out with the missus. I had a medium rare ribeye with veggies in a wine reduction sauce. Glass of wine (ok 2) and an apertif and a little espresso.

    Life is good.

    Except I’m older than vmax.

*shakes my cane* CURSE YOU VMAX

  120. Mare I also need to thank you I love the flame wars. Actually when I met most these people that kind of talk was the norm not the rare occasion.

  121. TBOM, I’m getting ready to read your book.

shit bro…I pulled most of it from the blog. read the prologue and tell me if you want more

    TBoM, shut up.

    Rosetta..you are dead to me

  122. gubmint cheese tastes delicious on pizza

  123. Rosetta..you are dead to me

    Oh fuck….

*runs away before TBoM has sex with me*

  124. I’m with you Rosie. I’d rather be my own boss but right now, college tuition is upon us. Once our obligation to the beasnette is satisfied, I will have to do what Mr. Beasn has been nagging me about forever – use my God-given talents in exchange for cash.

And see that is another difference between a conservative and a lib. We don’t like people telling us what to do with our lives – we’ll do it ourselves until our eyes bleed, and they need Uncle Sugar to change their diapers because they are TOO FUCKING LAZY TO DO IT THEMSELVES.

  125. Two examples, my dad who owned his own restaurant and my husband who runs a business out of our house. For my dad it was employee’s not showing up, payroll taxes, break-ins at 3:00 am and crunching numbers to cover a wife and five children. He loved it but it was not easy, it was hard and made harder by state and federal taxes and operational parameters (unions trying to unionize his workers, which would have broke him).

My husband had low overhead, no employees but no guaranteed paycheck. He loves it too but spends a lot of time dealing with state and federal tax forms, etc. Also international tax and law.

Both my father and my husband are optimists and enjoy the work in their life. But the government has not made it easier, it’s made it harder.

You really don’t understand that until you are between a rock and a hard place making payroll, making a living and enjoying what free time you can eek away from a 16 hour a day job.

  126. Hey! When are you posting more of that book?

I cannot express to you how scared I was last night and usually I open up the garage doors at night to cool the house down…….HELLNO!!

I was waaay too scared because no other adults were in the house and your book had me too spooked. I even had nightmares last night.

remind me to never meet you in real life t-bone if you have that kind of sick imagination

  127. I only have 2 problems with the flamewars:

    1. shots at people not around to defend themself; and
    2. the fact that when they happen, I’m usually at work, which is not conducive to thoughts of “TBOM guzzles sperm daily”

  128. Being your own boss is the best, it’s just not the easiest. It provides certain freedoms and creativity and risks, it’s just not easy. It can be difficult, challenging and HARD.

  129. what Mr. Beasn has been nagging me about forever – use my God-given talents in exchange for cash.

Mr. Beasn is obviously quite kinky

  130. PJm look at your g mail please. See if attatchment is there. Thanks

  131. Americano, the person that had shots taken at them while away is notorious for taking shots at the end of dead threads.

  132. Email me the book; I’m travelling to another island and will be without net access, so I’ll need it quickly. Or next week.

    Thanks bunches.

  133. Cand you spot Shim?

  134. Sohos, I kind of feel like Vmax, he said he’s not good at flamewars because he can’t come up with a come back fast enough. That would be me. Two days later saying…..

    “your mother!”

    But you were good!

  135. PattyAnn, that had me in tears. He was a good guy, loved bourbon and smokes, wouldn’t give ’em up for nuthin.

  136. Yes TBOM send me pass code I wanna read more.

Count owns his own business and it makes our life easier but it is sometimes it is round the clock work.

  137. I hear you Mare. But as a guy who is usually relegated to commenting waaay after you nice people have gone, perhaps I have a soft spot for Forged. Mostly, I was thinking of Folly.

  138. I always wanted to have my own restaurant and bar.
Until I managed the kitchen of a 200 room hotel. The hardest I have ever worked in my life. If I worked 17 hours it was a short day!

More SR-71 with Alan Parsons and you get to see those J-58s sparking in to burner!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeXQOBb7h7s&feature=related

  139. I only have 2 problems with the flamewars:

    1. shots at people not around to defend themself;</I.

I will agree with you only in the sense that, you or I or mare or anyone else on good terms with the blog can and should be the victims of flamewar threads whether we're around or not……..but not if they don't dig the hostages anymore, then that's just catty and unecessary

  140. Shim, did you make your shirt thing?

  141. Mr. Beasn is obviously quite kinky

Poor guy tries but no cigar. Mr. Beasn has been incredibly supportive of me since I met him 30 years ago. I had a show, he took me. I needed a ride to meet the mayor, he took me. I needed an art desk, he bought me one for Xmas. I needed a portfolio, he bought me one for my bday. I needed something framed, his dad built it.

That was while we were in highschool.

  142. >>You could also invent a pillow that always stays cold. I would pay big bucks for that.

I would pay big bucks for a pillow that does not smush my ear. I hate that. Maybe a pillow with a hole in the middle? I am sure Rosetta can find other uses for such a contraption.

  143. Email me the book

I’m not comfortable sending out a file on it. Lot of energy poured into it already and want to keep it wrangled in. Not that I think you’d do anything, americano, just nervous about it I guess.

  144. Crap sorry 2 in a row!

  145. There is a monetary amount to be placed on freedom and not being under the thumb of anyone else.

I would rather make $75,000 doing my own thing with the freedom that comes along with that than make $100,000 getting bossed around in a shit job that I hated. Regular paycheck or no.

People spend too much time working to be miserable doing it.

    *punches Shim for no reason*

  146. PJM, that is EXACTLY my thought. If I’m not actively commenting, it’s because I’m doing something else. Have at me, and I’ll get around to reading it eventually. But the people who have parted ways with us should, in my opinion, be left alone.

  147. I understand TBoM. Let me know when it’s published, and I’ll buy a copy.

  148. Tushar, part of my July 4th celebration this year is kicking your ass.

    HAPPY JULY 4TH BUDDY!

  149. For example: I haven’t been around for awhile, but I learned that BiW is an oboe playing faggot, so I’ll always be able to shoot down his feeble insults.

  150. I understand your point, Americano, but I’m sure you are aware Folly trashed the women here on her own blog…away from here. She’s no angel.

  151. That was while we were in highschool.

    You went to high school?

  152. Rosetta’s right. Psychotic, but right.

After 17 years with one company I took a pay cut last year to get back into DoD work. I get to be a small part of something way bigger than me (and those of you who’ve seen me know just how big that can be). I like. And I get to work with some of the bestest men and women this country has.

    USARMY! FUCK YEAH!

  153. PA , sorry I was talking to my niece on FB. Yes and I sent a pic to PJM

  154. Rosetta, I am older than you, does that mean I get to boss you around?

  155. You went to high school?

Considering the one I went to………no. There were lots of people that were ‘high’ but not a lot of schooling.

  156. Americano, I published a xeroxed picture of my junk. If you put in some legal paper I’ll fax it to you and you can read that.

  157. To be honest, I wasn’t especially a fan of hers while she was around. It just violates my sense of fair play to attack someone who you know won’t be coming around to respond.

The people here are EXCELLENT at insults. Shame to waste the talent.

  158. hah, yeah that’s true mare. I have an incredibly short memory on things. Kinda fun to put a dig in every once in a while.

  159. Americano, I published a xeroxed picture of my junk. If you put in some legal paper I’ll fax it to you and you can read that with a magnifying glass.

    FTFY

  160. People spend too much time working to be miserable doing it.

Amen to that! which is why I am going back to school, getting my Masters, (3 semesters) and then decide what I want to do when I grow up.

  161. Well I guess the strap on would require longer sheets of paper.

  162. Hey, I have an idea.

Instead of giving Michael Jackon’s kids to his mom, Diana Ross or the idiot egg donor, why don’t we throw a dart at a phone book and give them to that person so that the kids have a fighting chance at a good life.

  163. Rosetta, my husband and I would be off the grid if it wasn’t for our children. Good schools aren’t cheap. Sports, music and family gatherings even if done on the cheap do take money. The freedom a single person has to say “I’ll make less money to do what I want” doesn’t translate as well for a man with dependents.

  164. I’m 48 and will be 49 on August 9th.

EXCELLENT!!! You will have a birthday beating in two months.

    O yeah, that’ll be a fun one.

    *rolls eyes

I can just see it now

Oh mare, you’re so wonderful. I love how you laugh at my jokes all the time. You’re the most lovely thing that has ever graced this blog! How did we ever survive w/out you here?

  165. Americano, I published a xeroxed picture of my junk. If you put in some legal paper I’ll fax it to you and you can read that with a magnifying glass.

    HAHAHAHA!

  166. That was not called for ,punk. Right back atcha Rosie, take this.
    http://tinyurl.com/mxj94o/

  167. Hopefully, Jackson did not ‘touch’ his kids but it’s possible, as flakey, as he was, they’re messed up regardless.

  168. shim, where did you email it? i have nothing on fb and nothing on gmail

  169. The people here are EXCELLENT at insults. Shame to waste the talent.

I agree with you on that point, Cane. 95% of the fun in throwing feces at someone and seeing what they throw back.

Other than with politicians or famous people obviously. Commenters that are gone, it’s not fun ripping on them.

  170. Commenters that are gone, it’s not fun ripping on them.

I can agree with that as long as they didnt sling shit right before they ducked out. OR go someplace else like IB or elsewhere and start slanging it…I think if you are going to play dirty or chicken shit then you get what you deserve…just sayin’

  171. Shim, that was an awesome link at facechimp about your grandfather. Did you post the link here?

  172. >>Tushar, part of my July 4th celebration this year is kicking your ass.

Why is it always about the ass for you? WHY?

  173. “Oh mare, you’re so wonderful. I love how you laugh at my jokes all the time. You’re the most lovely thing that has ever graced this blog! How did we ever survive w/out you here?”

    LOVE IT!

PJM, will you do one for me too?

  174. I sent it gmail w/ attatchment. Fuck it go to myspace and lift it. Can you, you did that w/ the POL right?

  175. Right on, Sohos.

  176. Shim, don’t ever worry about not spending every living minute here on this blog. We’ll get over it. Haha, yes that was in fun ’cause I’ll ome in here and just say hi or something and leave and come back later. We all do.
But I still want to see the shirt.

  177. Hahahaha!
PJM hits one out of the park!

  178. Well, now that we’ve established me as the voice of reason, I declare that the wimmen shall comment topless, and Rosetta can get me a pizza.

    Shim gets his shinebox.

And TBoM gets his weekly anal chlamydia test.

  179. PJM, I want to clear sumfin up right now. You ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE TO WEAR A BRA in my neighborhood when you pick up a pizza. That is all, now back at what you were doing.

  180. Hi, FIGF!

  181. Death metal cover of Pink Floyd

    Really

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs0h39JAYak&feature=channel

    Sox is hot for her

  182. Hahahaha!
PJM hits one out of the park!

hahaha Will you let me know which one it was so I can pay attention for next time?

  183. Americano…I posted what I let PJ read on my blog

    password is TBOM

You can cut and paste into a word document if you like.

  184. Mare, when I hear this, I think of you hanging at the beach reading a book, enjoying the sound of the waves and your feet digging into the sand after a long swig of ice cold water.
    http://www.last.fm/music/The+Coconutz/_/Nothing+Compares+2+U

  185. Salamat Po, TBom. Doing that now….

  186. That was not called for ,punk. Right back atcha Rosie, take this.
    http://tinyurl.com/mxj94o/

That guy needs his ass kicked.

A few years out of college, one of my roommates and I were coming home from a bar. On the drive home, ahead of us on the sidewalk, a guy and girl were arguing in the bad way. Not unlike that video, shim. As we pass them, the guy pushes the girl into a bunch of bushes and acts like he’s about the beat the crap out of her.

So we whipped the car around and I get out and throw the guy up against the building they were standing in front of. I’m sure I was yelling all sorts of brilliant things but it mostly came out as PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE MOTHERFUCKER!!!

As soon as he and I were about to throw down, the girl he pushed down jumped on my back and started punching me in the head. HAHAHAHAHA!!!

30 seconds later the cops showed up. FUN!

    A very weird incident.

  187. I’m just warning you americano, t-bone is one sick muther effer

  188. Shim, that was excellent!

    Thanks!

  189. Forehead kiss Mare, good to have you back.

  190. I’m just warning you americano, t-bone is one sick muther effer

yeah…if you ignore the typos, and some other inconsistencies…

  191. The moral of my story is that if you’re going to be a low self-esteem loser chick that lets your guy smack you around, do it indoors so everyone else doesn’t have to see it.

  192. Tbom, where on your blog? Are we talking about the TBOM blog?

  193. That would make a good story for a military holiday, I guess, Right?

  194. Thanks Tbom, I see where you worked the shotgun / quail into it and how you did. good stuff.

  195. Shiim, I love forehead kisses. Heck, I like all kisses.

  196. Thanks Tbom, I see where you worked the shotgun / quail into it and how you did. good stuff.

You got to check out how I killed off the “Hostage” composite character who drove a black vmax

  197. I tried to do the best I could w/ the shirt, no place around would do a silk screen with such short notice. So give allowances, Fuckers.

  198. I am at the molly remembering a black pickup truck now.

  199. t-bone, I think rosetta’s life is plagiarizing your book

  200. Tbom, where on your blog? Are we talking about the TBOM blog?

    here you go Mare

Start with the prologue at the bottom of the blog for a short sample

  201. Hey, asshole. I haven’t read it yet.

  202. Rosetta, helping a woman:

    http://tinyurl.com/lkjrk3

  203. Why is it always about the ass for you? WHY?

Are you all jealous that I’ve met Tushar and had beers and smokes with him?

When he showed up at the CT meet-up, it was like Brad Pitt was in the house. Hahahaha. Everyone loves Tushar!!!

Guys want to be him and chicks want to be with him. It’s insane.

  204. Rosetta, I feel bad about punching youin the vag, I shoulda kicked it.

  205. Rosetta, I feel bad about punching youin the vag, I shoulda kicked it.

If you kick me in the vag, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

  206. Thanks, TBOM. I kind of feel like Lauraw, she read a friends manuscript and didn’t like it and she avoided him like the plague. Yours has gotten good reviews here so I’ll give it a shot.

I would never want to avoid you here.

A coworker gave me his manuscript and it was his gay manifesto. This was 25 years ago and it was kind of different awkward after that.

  207. yeah…if you ignore the typos, and some other inconsistencies…

what are talking about? The typos are what gave me the nightmares.

  208. Hey, asshole. I haven’t read it yet.

hahaha…teh best part is when the sun fried ex-pat gets his balls ripped off by a blowfish

  209. cross out different

  210. That’s funny, Mare, because after reading the prologue, I figured this, too, was TBOM’s gay manifesto.

  211. I’ve never been kicked in the vag but I remember a horrible incident with my huffy bike when I was 10.

  212. ManFistopalooza = Rosetta’s summer concert series.

  213. “That’s funny, Mare, because after reading the prologue, I figured this, too, was TBOM’s gay manifesto.”

    hahahahaha…..uh oh

  214. I’ve never been kicked in the vag but I remember a horrible incident with my huffy bike when I was 10.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA! Me too!!

  215. hey mare…its all cool. if everybody liked the same thing…there wouldn’t be 300,000 new books published every year

you are not required to like it

  216. “you are not required to like it”

Well, I’m going to like it, damn it!

  217. Geez, were our bikes possessed and trying to kill us when we were 10?

  218. “HAHAHAHAHAHA! Me too!!”

I might have lost my virginity during the incident.

  219. “I would never want to avoid you here.”

    Tbom, I meant that as a joke….FAIL!!!!!!!!

  220. I remember getting a pedal to the shin when I was 12. Teh cut should have required a ton of stitches but I didn’t tell anyone. The sucker leaked blood and puss for 3 months

  221. TBOM, a friend of mine is writing a cool story about Nebraska and the events surrounded a train wreck that actually happened in 1894. Trouble is, I can tell it moves too slow, so I’m trying to help him with the editing. I’m surprised he’s still talking to me.

  222. Rosetta, helping a woman:

    http://tinyurl.com/lkjrk3

    HAAHAHAHAHA!!! Yes. Like that.

  223. OUCH!!!!!1111111ELVIS1111!!!

    Getting drug to death! {{{{{{{{{{{shudder}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

  224. The sucker leaked blood and puss for 3 months

And yet you still leak puss to this day.

  225. I ran straight into a telephone poll once trying to be cool with my hands in the air and looking at my friend (Tommy B) trying to get his attention. A knot the size of a golf ball.

  226. Vmax, are you buzzed?

  227. Back to the bikes – I was trying to catch up to my older sister (7 years older, 10-speed vs. single speed bike). Hit a rock or something at full speed, the front tire broke loose, I went sailing over the handlebars. Mass of contusions all over, with a few permanent scars. Dad took a picture of me, and if I had known the word then, it would have been the “eat shit and die” look.

  228. And yet you still leak like pussy to this day.

    Yes…..Yes I do

  229. Here is something to make PJM insanely jealous:

I asked Rosetta to allow me to rub his head. I told him that in my culture, rubbing the bald head of a man-lesbian brings good luck. He gamely obliged.

  230. Bikes are fun, but I actually played a game on a bike called “ambulance” does that give you any idea of how stupid I was as a kid?

  231. I remember getting a pedal to the shin when I was 12. Teh cut should have required a ton of stitches but I didn’t tell anyone. The sucker leaked blood and puss for 3 months

Hey douche, was that one of those pedals where the grips on the pedals were actually metal spikes meant to catch on the rubber of your tennis shoes?

Those things were like a medieval torture device.

  232. Hey douche…hahahahahahahaha

    That stuck me as funny.

    And those pedals sucked.

  233. Tbom,
one thing I notice when I was out in the 4 corners area (mostly New Mexico and Arizona on the Navajo reservation) It was so quiet you could hear a jet flying by at 35,000 feet (or whatever the hell height they fly) and you could see stars right down to the horizon.

I have spent many nights out on the ocean and you do not see stars at the horizon.

  234. Tbom, what is the name of the first girl you ever kissed?

  235. I took my wicked bitchin Schwinn over a jump and broke my arm. Didn’t tell my parents for a few days because I knew I would be in trouble. (Was told specifically NOT to take the wicked bitchin Schwinn over jumps). Got busted when we went to JCPenneys to shop for new school clothes, and I couldn’t work the buttons

  236. I picked up bike riding pretty easily, but stopping was hard. My trick was to crash into the nearest wall/fence/tree/person when I wanted to stop.

  237. What is the name of the first boy you ever kissed?

  238. I hate those tiny bicycle seats that are barely bigger than your buttcrack and always threatening to breach your Maginot line.

  239. Those things were like a medieval torture device.

    yeah…custom racing ones

  240. My Grandpa lived on a gravel road when I was 10. It was a big hill. I crashed my bike and was picking gravel out of my hide for weeks!

  241. Tbom, what is the name of the first girl you ever kissed?

    Mom

  242. I asked Rosetta to allow me to rub his head. I told him that in my culture, rubbing the bald head of a man-lesbian brings good luck. He gamely obliged.

You don’t even want to know what I’ve rubbed on rosetta.

    wait…………….what?

  243. Tbom, what is the name of the first girl you ever kissed?

    Jeff.

  244. Colin

I dont’ think I’ve ever kissed my dad in my life or even hugged him, to this day

  245. I said kissed not “made out with.”

  246. The first time I was on a mini bike I twisted the throttle and was so exhilarated I forgot everything else, and ran into the fence at full throttle.

  247. thanks V. I am trying to write about a location that I only spent 3 days in…and 2 of those days were on the strip

  248. You don’t even want to know what I’ve rubbed on rosetta.

    SHUT IT!!!

    *hides genie lamp*

  249. “I dont’ think I’ve ever kissed my dad in my life or even hugged him, to this day”

    WHAT!

PJM, can I fly over and give you a hug? That makes me sad.

  250. I dont’ think I’ve ever kissed my dad in my life or even hugged him, to this day

    Huh??

  251. why does this interest you so much Mare…are you touching yourself while waiting for the answer?

  252. Mary
I wanted to touch her boobs but she let me kiss her.

  253. >> He gamely obliged.

Yeah, he let me strike a match off it too.

    He’s a good sport.

  254. First girl I ever kissed: Rosemary Bentz

  255. In high school, my husband went through a window (while it was closed) of a home. The owner was a nurse, thank goodness. About 800 stitches later he decided that the motorcycle he was testing to buy did not have good brakes.

  256. true story, but long story for another day

my dad was a very cruel man growing up

    he’s changed now

  257. My parents bought me a 10-speed when I was a little guy and I was riding around my neighborhood when I was prolly 9 or so.

I was cruising down a hill, prolly going 100 or 120 mph, and I braked hard with the front brake and did and complete somersault.

I skinned all kinda shit but I remember standing up and looking around to make sure no hot chicks saw me.

Cuz those cuts came from doing a phat jump over cars and shit.

  258. Billy. He was sweet as sugar but couldn’t kiss worth two cents.

I dont’ think I’ve ever kissed my dad in my life or even hugged him, to this day

Awww!!!! That makes me sad, too.

  259. Good one, MCPO!

  260. “I wanted to touch her boobs but she let me kiss her.”

You were a man ahead of his time!

    CORRECTION: 400 stitches

  261. 400 stitches! Yikes
I have only had 30. (from a machete)

  262. Clint’s first kiss came from some broad in Africa named Lucy.

  263. Mare, what was the name of the first girl that you kissed?

    DON’T LIE!!!!

  264. PJM I just sent to Gmail from myspace pic, see if it worked. My fuckin desktop has a virus or horse and I can’t seem to locate, I’m on my wife’s laptop-it says everything went thru.I want everyone to see that damn pic. It’s top of the page good.

  265. Mare – here’s another one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgbGaYTkkPU

  266. my dad was a very cruel man growing up

I had a grandfather like that, a meaner s.o.b. never walked the face of the earth. I did not mourn when he died.

It does my heart good to see the kids looking forward to seeing their grandfather this weekend, even though it will be terribly sad without Mom. They love all their grandparents and are much loved in return, and I am very grateful for that.

  267. “I have only had 30. (from a machete)”

Sounds like you were lucky. Machetes seem like more of a “cutting off” type of deal rather than just stitches.

  268. Mare, what was the name of the first girl that you kissed?

    Shauna

  269. Clint’s first kiss came from some broad in Africa named Lucy.

    HAHAHAHA!!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDBZZG9rmrk

  270. Oh my goodness, C3PO, I loved that song!!

  271. Liked that last one, MCPO.

  272. First Girl TBOM kissed

  273. Mare, what was the name of the first girl that you kissed?

    Shauna

    ZOMG!!! ME TOO!!!!!!!

  274. That’s TBom’s mom?

  275. Where’s PJM? She was supposed to react to that one!

  276. That does “ZOMG” mean?

  277. Someone is bound to guess the common thread of tonight’s musical choices.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_IGxXxsoE8

  278. “Someone is bound to guess the common thread of tonight’s musical choices.”

    Only old people remember them?

  279. That’s TBom’s mom?

No. Here is TBoM with his mom.

  280. Rosetta: Not sure of the exact translation, but it’s the mating call of the latent homosexual.

  281. Abba MCPO!

  282. Tushar, are you wearing a skort?

  283. Mare – You’re getting warm!

  284. “That does “ZOMG” mean?”

    hahahahaha…you valley girl.

  285. I remember a buck tooth girl with a green tooth in 1st grade.
I did not kiss her though.

  286. >>Tushar, are you wearing a skort?

Rosetta, I am wearing a Dhoti:

  287. Vmax may figure out the theme from this one. . .

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkbdP7sq0w8

  288. Rosetta: Not sure of the exact translation, but it’s the mating call of the latent homosexual.

I knew if anyone knew, it would be you.

You’re like the gay Marlin Perkins.

  289. Sorry, I sent PJ away to work on loading a pic of me and DeMint-It’s teh good.

  290. “I did not kiss her though.”

Vmax, you really were wise for your age.

    Rosetta germs no returns!

  291. . . . I am wearing a Dhoti:

    Is that Navajo for pajamas?

  292. Great comeback, Rosetto.

  293. Tushar, that guy in that picture is good looking.

Shoot, got to eat dinner pretty soon.

  294. According to wikipedia, ZOMG is a typo when a person wants to type OMG in uppercase, and hits the z instead of Shift key.

  295. >>Is that Navajo for pajamas?

No, you jackass. It is traditional Indian dress. Dot, not feather.

  296. Hey Tush, who speaks better English, you or Mrs Tushar?

    And is she funny?

  297. take a chance on dust in the wind?

    70’s music for 20?

  298. MCPO, 1978?

  299. Pat Boone Tushar?

  300. The year I graduated from high school.

  301. OK, last one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKxyoud_c-E

  302. Great comeback, Rosetto.

Hahaha. Liar. Who else watched Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom?

I used to love that show.

  303. Did MCPO fall asleep watching Matlock?

  304. My dad and I watched that show religiously, Rosetta.

  305. Mare- All of the songs were in the top 100 in 1978.

  306. Korn

  307. My dad liked it when Marlin would make his brawny side kick wrestle the animals.

  308. While he was safely narrating from the jeep.

  309. Ta-Da! Since Romy answered first, she gets her face covered in wet puppy kisses!

  310. Yup, 1978, the year I graduated.

  311. Woot! What do I win?

  312. See Mare, I was actually paying attention to your b’day conversation with Rosie.

  313. >>Hey Tush, who speaks better English, you or Mrs Tushar?

    >>And is she funny?

I am more fluent with the language itself, but she has a better accent. You know how fucked up my accent is.

She is funny, but only with me. She is quite shy with other people.

  314. L to R: Wiserbud, Rosetta (ca. 1982)

  316. Romy – I listed your prize. Please pay attention.

  317. Did MCPO fall asleep watching Matlock?

    Hahahahahaha!!!

It would be funny if, while he was watching Matlock, he fell asleep and he pushed his Rascal joystick forward and he crashed into the TV.

Okay maybe that’s not funny but still…

  318. Pat Boone? Who the eff is that?

  319. I would like to see Car in and PJM wrestle.

  320. “See Mare, I was actually paying attention to your b’day conversation with Rosie.”

Romy may have won but I’ll give you smootches anyway.

    Time for dinner!

  321. Seeing that ages are being revealed, I’ve discovered that all ya’all are older than I thought.

  322. she gets her face covered in wet puppy kisses!

(giggle) I remembered taping Casey Kasem’s top 100 show on 8 track tape that year. I had just gotten the stereo for Christmas. I have no idea what my parents were thinking.

  323. >>Seeing that ages are being revealed, I’ve discovered that all ya’all are older than I thought.

    Guess my age, MCPO

  324. My dad and I watched that show religiously, Rosetta.

Was that a Sunday night show, Mare?

I seem to remember Wild Kingdom and then the Disney movie.

There was better shit on with 3 channels.

  325. Tushar – 36 years old.

  326. >> You know how fucked up my accent is.

Your accent is perfect. Do not change.

  327. Chief, if you will look, you will see we posted at the same time. I take no blame for this poat loading slower than molasses in Boston in January.

  328. Pat Boone’s signature dress was all white Tushar all though I am having a problem finding you tube’s with him wearing white. Maybe it was when he was older and a Christian

  329. Romy – Wearing your glasses?

  330. >>Tushar – 36 years old.

What? You knew that already, I think.

And thanks Dave, you are the first person who lied politely instead of laughing at my accent.

  331. Vmax- Are you a Hostage heretic or a retard when it comes to posting videos?

  332. There was better shit on with 3 channels.

    Got that right.

  333. Tushar- No, actually I didn’t. I merely imagined the arc of your life, thought about how old the twins are and it came to me.

  334. I am more fluent with the language itself, but she has a better accent. You know how fucked up my accent is.

    Your accent is outstanding!

She is funny, but only with me. She is quite shy with other people.

Hahaha. I look forward to meeting her. She has to have a good sense of humor to be married to you.

  342. >>She has to have a good sense of humor to be married to you.

good sense of humor, enormous amount of patience, tolerance for untidiness, the ability to control the urge to throw things…. all things are necessary to be married to me. I am a lucky guy.

  343. Yeah white pants with this http://tiny.pl/3zn4 and white gloves on a ship was fun! /sarc

  344. Time to take the mutts out.
    Good night all

I have a idea for a poat might put it up tomorrow AM.

  345. *LICKS ROMY’S GLASSES*

  346. Speaking of 8-track tapes, my parents had a set with the top hits of the 50’s and 60’s. Pat Boone’s “April Love” was followed by this

  347. you are the first person who lied politely instead of laughing at my accent.

I laughed with your accent, not at it. Bastard.

    Your accent is kickass, dummy.

  348. Chicks in glasses are awesomeness!

  349. I have a idea for a poat might put it up tomorrow AM.

That would be good. BBF is only 1/3 done so it maybe a PM post.

  350. Nice Romy
    Liked pink cherry

  355. Yeah white pants with this http://tiny.pl/3zn4 and white gloves on a ship was fun!

I would pay money to see a picture of you in dress whites, gloves, medals, the works, MCPO.

  356. I am a slob. I cannot wear white or beige or even tan I am a scuzz ball or something

Hahahaha. I like how, of the 20 regulars on this blog, 25 like Vmax better than he likes himself.

Again, I think Vmax may be a murderer.

    Just sayin’.

  357. Shim???

    BiW ???

  358. >>Again, I think Vmax may be a murderer.

He is burly enough to kill someone with just his gaze.

  359. Shim, it was a full-blown stereo with record player, 8-track tape player, a place to plug in a cassette player, huge speakers, and left and right microphones. My best friend and I made up our own comedy routines and recorded them.

Went to school with a Jimmy Walker. Poor guy.

  360. Tushar – The one of BiW is a bit butch, don’t you think?

  361. >> That would be good. BBF is only 1/3 done so it maybe a PM post.

I swear, I always thought you did those streamofconsciousness on the fly, tapping into the cosmic consciousness of cool or something.

  362. Vmax, you might like this one, too. This was also in the collection.

We live in a great and resilient country . America’s immune system will shake off the current infection soon enough. There will be partial healing in 2010, and full recovery will start in 2012.

    Happy Independence Day, everyone.

  365. Romy – My favorite Patti Page tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HT2ao0rcxoA

  366. I love accents!

  367. MCPO, one of these days I will go back to Massachusetts and see what I missed the first time. Cape Cod and Plimouth Plantation, among others.

  368. If by accents you mean a nasally sort of drawl, then cool!

  369. Tushar and the missus

  370. I shoulda tinyurled it for the surprise, shit.

  371. Dave, I happen to like Texan accents too. When you yell, “get me a beer” it sounds exotic to me.

  372. I am fading, and I have to drive 5 hours tomorrow, so good night, y’all, sweet dreams.

  373. Awesome. Would’ja git me a beer then hon?

  374. I like accents too. Except the Canadian one that turns every statement into a question.

    ‘I like spinach?’

How the fuck do I know if you like spinach? Gah! That drives me up the wall if I have to listen to it very long.

  375. Roamy, you MUST go to my home town and see the #1 historical park in the country.
    http://www.osv.org/

  376. Does anyone know the length of time appropriate for me to stay angry about the Coleman/Franken debacle?

  377. “Awesome. Would’ja git me a beer then hon?”

When you ask so sweetly, of course! I’ll bring it out to the pool.

  378. till 2012

  379. Mare- I would say about six years.

  380. Good, because I think that may be a long one for me.

  381. Goodnight all of you cooter, looters and should I shoot hers.

  382. . . . the Coleman/Franken debacle?

Until Franken is photographed with a heroin drip plugged into his arm and an under-aged Thai tranny hooker being paid to violate his sphincter with a slightly gnawed ham bone.

  383. Sweet dreams, MCPO!

  384. Happy sleeping MCPO.

  385. Jewstahn, Comme t’allez vous?Vous n’aimez pas les espinards?

  386. Later Chief.

  394. Derp.

  395. EVB drive by

  396. Seen eM, Jewstin do you guys like heavy music like Disturbed?

  397. ^naw. Just trying to unwind.

  398. I’m not familiar with Disturbed. Gimme an example.

  399. Shim,

I own the PA shit. Tell the lead guy HE’S OUT!

    hahahahaha.

always comes down to the PA shit.

  400. I’m on a pop music kick right now. Unusual, since I usually hate pop music.

  401. I am also not familiar with them.

  402. This new song is called The Night it’s very driving and pounding. I like it to work out to, it definitely keeps the blood flowing the lead singer is a shorty jewish guy full of angst
    .
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmux0pTdXhc

  403. Weird thing? When I drive with my daughter in the car, I avoid the Slayer tyoe stuff and go for Mozart or Beethoven.

Tonight, when she saw that I was going to put Mozart in the CD player (she recognized the picture on the box), she asked if I could play the “song” (her word) that began a certain way. She then sang the beginning of the “Jupiter #41”. So, I put that one in, and damned if her singing it wasn’t exactly like the beginning.

Even stranger? She had only heard it once before, when I had it on my computer in the background while she was taking a bath about a month ago.

    Yiokes

  404. He also did an ode to his girlfriend (youngster) she committed suicide b/c she was molested and couldn’t deal, he found her and dealt with it by writing and singing.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dn0UTWWnu8

  405. I quite like Disturbed. I’ll have to listen to more of their tracks.

  406. Eh, it’s okay shim, but not really my cup of tea.

  407. EvB I like classical, some opera, I like the heavy low bass end of classical, I think it made way for the heavy music of the 70s forward. I have heard this said by music critics and conductors also. Load the bass and thicken with several instuments to give rich depth.

  408. Funny, cause my older brother listened to Madonna, I called him a pussy, he beat me to a pulp. Kind of a wash in my mind.

  409. I love classicized rock. Metallica S&M is probably my all-time favorite album, and I even like the theme to David Lynch’s Dune. Probably the best part of the movie.

  410. I hope PJ got the pic of me w/ the good Senator, I put a stamp on the blog. Well Rocky horror is on if i can ignore Sarandon I might laugh a bit before be tonight.TV sucks these days, I have more channels deleted than viewable.

  411. I can only think of one Madonna song I like, and it was so heavily produced and modulated, it’s practically electronica.

  412. I liked the Metallica w/ full band, was very different, but a good change up I thought.

  413. I don’t like machined voices, even when a group like Motley Crue is live they suck cuz they can’t reproduce the studio work done.

  414. Metallica with the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra was fucking awesome. I lived there at the time and even had money for a ticket. I deserve a solid dick punch for not going.

  415. Heh, I just remembered I was once told that every gay guy has to choose a diva. Available choices are Cher, Madonna, Bette Midler.

  416. 419th!

  417. ^seriosuly, what is the fucking deal with gay dudes loving the three you listed? Is it the costume changes? The hair?

  418. Oh, and I taught a guy from Nashville how to bbq ribs today.

    Boo yah!

  419. I meant my “^” for Jewstin.

  420. My current tune – British boy ban, Phixx:

    http://bacn.me/8jd

  421. always comes down to the PA shit.

We kept the worst bass player on the planet for a year because he owned the PA.

We used to turn him down so that no one could here him but himself. He would figure it out sometimes and just stop playing. We would continue on without noticing because I was slamming the bass lines on my guitar.

    Good times.

  422. I meant my “^” for Jewstin.

    Suuuure you did.

  423. http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/07/02/judge.explicit.files/index.html who knew Rosetta was a judge?

  424. mesa:

You have some insight you wish to share with the class?

  425. I can’t really say Eddie. It might be genetic, since I had unwittingly chosen Bette Midler before then.

I do think Bette Midler is truly talented as both a singer and a performer. Cher and Madonna win their audience thanks to outrageous performances and tolerable talent. Kinda like Liberace.

  426. Jew:

my wife tried to explain it to me once. Something about glamour.

I just lost interest because she wouldn’t take off her clothes for me while explaining.

  427. http://www.mcall.com/news/local/all-5phone070209-cn,0,3952707.story TBOM?

  428. Alright fellers, I’m off to meet the wife in dreamland, she started at 8:30. Later…Y’all.

  429. I just lost interest because she wouldn’t take off her clothes for me while explaining.

Huh. Well, if it helps, I’m not wearing a shirt.

  430. Happy sleeping, Shim.

  431. When did you live in Berkeley, Jewstin?

  432. I actually lived on the other side of the tunnel, Sean. Six years, up until ’05? I don’t remember exactly when I left. Walnut Creek area.

  433. Jew:

You’re tapping a dry well here, pal.

  434. I lived in Berkeley between 1994 and 2001. Moved back down to SoCal about a week before 9/11.

  435. Shucks, Sean. We could have had a beer or two. Ever go to the Albatross? I think that was Berkeley. Maybe Emeryville.

  436. Yeah, my friends and I hung out at the Albatross on occasion. Good beer selection, free popcorn, nice pub atmosphere. I liked that place.

A lot of the time, we hung out at Thalassa, the bar/pool hall on Shattuck.

  437. You’re tapping a dry well here, pal.

    RACIST MISOGYNIST HOMOPHONE!!!!eleventy!!!

  438. ^heh!

  439. night

  440. The Albatross was pretty cool. I liked that joint.

I’m afraid I don’t remember many of the other places I went. I do recall a reggae club in Alameda where I was the only white guy. I became sort of a celebrity/mascot. The why neurons are long dead. That’s fortunate for me.

  441. Nighty-night, Eddie. There’s a lovely breeze through the window tonight, so I too am off to bed.

  442. Sweet dreams Jewstin and Edward.

  443. Poor little poat. It died alone and scared. You unfeeling bastards.

  444. Morning.

  445. Do I need to mention that I was too tired to visit with you folks last night?

I drove to MO – Left here at 6:45, got THERE (after a slight detour through St Louis – oops, missed my turn, oops, I”m lost in St. Louis, good think I’m from Detroit and being lost in a bad part of town doesn’t make me soil myself) around 6:20 my time. Visited with the breeders a bit, then turned around. Drove until 2 in the morning, slept in a rest stop for mebee 3 hours, up at 5:30 … back home around 9:15.

The puppy is so cute. I’ve never had a puppy so young. Oye. Like a little baby it is. Good thing I have so many minions kids to help.

  446. It was about 11 hours each way.

  447. But, I’M AWAKE NOW!!!

  448. Oh … come ON. Not even ‘Cano is awake?

  449. I’m up, Car in. No coffee yet, so you’ve been warned.

  450. How young is your pup Car in?
I bought Zeke at 6-1/2 weeks I did not think they could sell them that young.

  451. I’m up. I fell asleep during the movie and woke up at 530am.

  452. We knew you’d had a long drive, Car in, and you let us know when you got in, so we weren’t ready to send out a search party just yet.

When I traveled to Vegas, I still had to call Dad when I got in. Guess Mom wasn’t the only worrier.

  453. The pup was 7 weeks … the day before I picked her up.

From what I gather, 7 weeks is the early optimal time. My last two dogs I got “late” and there are issues when they aren’t in a “home” at a young age.

Jewstin did a fine job at HHD, but the redhead was a tad young looking.

I’m not into boyish good looks.

  454. Oh, and I wish I had taken a picture, but off the highway before I drove 20 miles into the total boonies, there was teh COOLEST EVER GERNAL STORE.

It even at an area in the center where the regulars gathered for conversation.

    It was too cool.

  455. Car in, there’s a general store like that north of here. I see the old guys playing checkers on the front porch, and they gossip worse than women.

  456. >> I’m not into boyish good looks.

    Oh.

    well.

  457. I like boyish good looks, but I’m not into redheads. Or snipples, for that matter.

  458. I like the old hardware stores

  459. Snipples?

  460. I’m sorry, Dave. That’s just the way I roll.

If you didn’t look so damn much like Zack Ephron

  461. Leon, Bart didn’t like PJM talking about biting men’s nipples. Snipples came out of that, along with a post that was the word “nipples” repeated 40 or 50 times.

  462. >> Bart didn’t like PJM talking about biting men’s nipples.

Personally I have no problem with the nipple bitin thing.

Felt it was important to go on record with that.

    Carry on.

  463. I’m not into boyish good looks.

Ditto. Anything under 35 is starting to look like a kid to me. I like a weathered man. Hard to find models who look like that on the web, but fortunately they are all around us in real life. 😀

  464. *lessee, subtract 7, carry the one…

    Hasn’t looked like a kid since 1994.

  465. New poat. With bewbs even.

  466. Well, in 1994 I *was* a kid…sorta

  467. “Kid”, like I coulda gotten myself arrested kid?

Arrests I could live with. Getting hunted down and killed by your family, maybe not so much.

    Still…
