I have never actually watched and episode of that show, Cyn. One of those things I’ve always heard good things about but just never got around to.
It’s really kinda fun to see how things were for our parents or grandparents. I’ve always loved the fashion of the late 50′s and it’s fun to see the old stuff as new again.
The finale was kinda meh, except for Peter Campbell gettin his snotty little ass kicked again.

So I checked the historical weather data and whoa- we are pretty much at the normal temps.
Daytimes in the mid 70′s/ 80′s, with cool evenings…this is normal, right here for early June. Stupid hot Spring weather this year fooled me into thinking we are further along in Summer than we really are.
I need to start keeping a garden journal.
I was outside in shorts and a t-shirt earlier and though, “this is bullshit, I’m cold”. It’s June, people. June!

The last couple months were warmer and drier. We’d beat our average June monthly rainfall by the 6th.
Chickens survived their first day all together.

Of course that’s largely a function of humidity in conjunction with heat, but it’s been 80+ for a couple of weeks.
