And yes, if Dave needs him a cheeseburger in Texas prepared in the manner described, Whataburger is the place to go. Sonic does a decent one too.

If on the other hand it’s lunchtime, a local joint called “Crows” is top notch. They do something cool to the hamburgey meat, I think they mix in black pepper.
